Chapter 2
Black Feathers
Cloud Strife stepped out of the Gummi ship with Tifa Lockhart and Aerith Gainsborough. They had just come back from a mission. Awaiting them was a woman with long blonde hair and blue eyes, holding a sword with the tip standing on the ground. The woman had a cold, stern but beautiful face with her hair covering the right side of her face. She was wearing what looked like a dark blue military uniform with blue highlights. On the front of the uniform and over the left side of her chest was a pin with two stars stuck together. On the sides of the shoulders was the crest of LOGOS.
"How did it go?" The woman asked.
"We took care of the hostage situation and mopped up the terrorists," Cloud said. "The hostages and the prime minister are safe and secure, Major General Armstrong."
"And we managed to minimize civilian casualties," Tifa said. "Sure, there were some injured, but Aerith had them healed up."
"There wasn't a single fatality," Aerith said.
The woman huffed her chest in pride.
"And did you squeeze anything out of the terrorists?" General Armstrong asked. "Did they have any connections to Eternal Darkness?"
"Not exactly," Tifa said. "He kept rambling on about this guy called Roman Torchwick and how the whole hostage situation was Roman's, to begin with."
"Roman Torchwick?" The general raised a brow. "You mean the same Roman Torchwick who destabilized Vale and was supposedly eaten by a Nevermore during the Beacon Crisis?"
"Yeah, that's what I thought," Tifa said.
"I don't think so. Torchwick is dead. The reports from the investigation team indicated that there was no way he could have survived. They even interviewed an eyewitness who saw the man get eaten alive," Cloud said. "His hat and weapon were the only things that were left him. His remains were never found."
Tifa pouted.
"And I think that doesn't prove anything," Tifa said. "Eyewitnesses can get things confused sometimes. The weapon and the hat alone aren't enough to conclusively prove that he died. There wasn't even body, let alone any bones of him. How can you confirm someone is dead if you can't even find the body?"
"It's been a whole year—"
"Um... you two should calm down," Aerith said.
"If you want to debate, take it elsewhere that's not here and in my presence," Armstrong said. "You three are on standby until further notice."
Tifa looked at the general with a flabbergasted face.
"But we just got back—"
The general shot a glare at Tifa, making her go stiff and she stopped talking.
"Understood..." Tifa said.
"Good," Armstrong said. "Now if you excuse me, me and general Ironwood have things to discuss."
The woman walked off.
Her name was Olivier Mira Armstrong, an Amestrian major general who is called the Northern Wall of Briggs and was once put in charge of Fort Briggs, the fortress that stands on the border between Amestris and the nation of Drachma just beyond the northern border. A strict woman with a survival of the fittest mentality, people call her the First Ice Queen.

Kizuna was sitting next to Izuku and Madoka with Yoh sitting behind them with Anna next to him. Ruby and her friends were seated in front of them. Homura was sitting next to Madoka as Sayaka, Mami, and Kyoko were sitting behind Homura. Ochako was sitting next to Izuku with Bakugou and Todoroki sitting beside her. They all had ID number stickers attached to their clothes. They were given these stickers after meeting the receptionist.
They looked at the raven-haired woman standing on the stage. She was wearing a V neck black and red wrap style top with a black pleated skirt that has black shorts underneath, with a series of beaded necklaces. She had a red obi sash around her waist alongside a red tasset wrapped around it. It was carrying what looked like a scabbard with a rotary chamber of some sort. There was also something that looked almost like a trigger mechanism on it. There was a sword sheathed into it and it had its own trigger mechanism at the handle and it had black feathers attached to it. She had a pair of red gauntlets on her forearms and some black fingerless gloves. The woman looked like a samurai of some sort.
"She almost looks like a samurai..." Kizuna said.
"And she looks serious..." Izuku said.
"She looks very scary..." Madoka said.
"I'm right here, Madoka," Homura said.
"You are such a big sister to her, Homura," Sayaka said. "Maybe you should change your name to Homura Kaname instead."
Homura looked at Sayaka and pouted.
"Girls, let's not tease her over this," Mami said.
"Why not? It's fun," Kyoko said.
"She's something else," Yoh said.
"Yes, this aura I'm sensing is nothing like anyone else's," Anna said.
"Huh? What do you two mean?" Izuku asked.
"Her aura is giving off a lot of pride, but beneath it is something else... like a spring breeze of some sort," Yoh said. "Not only that, but I can tell she's not normal."
"Well duh, she's my mom," Yang said. "Of course, she's not normal. Which begs the question as to how and why she is here of all places..."
"Yeah... that does leave a lot of questions..." Ruby said, trying to imitate Weiss.
"Oh, that does make... wait... a second, did you just say she's your mom?" Kizuna asked.
Yang looked at Kizuna.
"Yeah, I did," Yang said.
Everyone was looking at her, most of them looking at her either in surprise, confusion, or shock. Ruby, on the other hand, was too busy trying to shove a cookie up her nose. Yang looked confused for a moment before coming to realize why they looked at her with such a mix of feelings.
"What, you guys don't believe me? I got a picture right here to prove it," Yang said, pulling her scroll out and showing a photo to the others.
It showed four people, two women, and two men. The woman on the stage was on it.
"My parents went to Beacon Academy and became team STRQ (stork)," Yang said. She pointed to the woman in the white cloak who looked almost like an adult version of Ruby, a man with blonde hair, the woman on the stage, and a black-haired man with a sword in that order. "That's Summer, Ruby's mom, this here is my dad, that's Raven, who's my mom, and that guy right there is our uncle Qrow and my mother's twin brother."
"I... have so many questions right now..." Weiss said.
"So we just found your mom..." Blake said.
"Guess we know where you got that ridiculously long hair of yours, Goldilocks," Bakugou said.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Yang asked.
"When was the last time you cut your hair?" Bakugou asked.
Yang's eyes turned red and she glared at Bakugou.
"What was that?" Yang asked.
"Uh oh..." Ruby said to herself.
"You heard me, Goldilocks," Bakugou said. "Your hair is so stupidly long that I could just pull on it and you'd fall flat on your ass."
"You want to test that theory, hedgehog?!" Yang asked, cracking her knuckles.
"You wanna fucking go, blondie?!" Bakugou asked.
"YOU TWO! SHUT UP OVER THERE!"
They both turned to Raven, who was looking pretty angry herself.
"If I have to come over there, I will!" Raven yelled. "So... SIT DOWN AND LISTEN!"
The two backed off on each other and sat down. Everyone looked at Raven, fearing her wrath. They didn't want to get her angry.
"Thank you..." Raven said.
-2-
'First, I get stuck with this shitty job and now my daughter is here along with Summer's brat...' Raven thought. 'I hate this damn job...'
Raven felt angrier about her circumstances than she did now. Thinking back now, she should have seen this whole thing coming. She sighed and took a deep breath.
'Let's just get this over with...' Raven thought, before clearing her throat. "The exam you're about to take is split into two parts, a written exam and a field exam. The written exam should be a breeze for all of you, that is if any of you have been studying and reading a bunch of books. The field exam on the other hand is something else. After you finish the written part of the exams, the real exam will start. You're going to be drawing up lots and you're all going to be grouped together and you're gonna be sent into one of the six training grounds on the campus, each with their own set of objectives. Complete these objectives 12 hours after the field exam starts and you'll pass the exams. If you fail to do even something as simple as that within that timeframe, I'll personally see to it that you get sent back home to your mom in a box."
She puffs her chest in pride.
"Furthermore, you are allowed to carry any healing items or weapons or equipment you have on hand, but you are forbidden from attacking each other. If you so much as slap one another, you're immediately disqualified from the exam altogether," Raven said. "Depending on the scores in both exams, if you pass, congratulations, you'll be assigned to one of the courses the academy provides."
She watched the crowd closely. She looked at one of the cameras.
'I hope you're enjoying this Qrow,' Raven thought. 'When I find you, I'm going to beat the shit out of you for this.'
-3-
Meanwhile...
Qrow Branwen was watching his older twin sister with a smug smile on his face as he took a sip from his flask. He was enjoying every second of it. Sure, she was gonna kick his ass for putting her in a job that she didn't want, but at least he gets to enjoy it while he can. He was a man who was just over six feet tall. He had dusty red eyes to go along with his black hair. He had stubble on his chin. He had a tattered red cloak along with a gray dress shirt with a long tail, black dress pants, and black dress shoes. He was a teacher in Signal Academy located on the island of Patch. It was located on the continent of Sanus which the kingdoms Vale to the east and Vacuo to the west. The island itself is secluded and safe enough to build houses and a combat school. He taught Ruby and Yang in Signal before those two went to Beacon Academy to become huntresses.
Funny, he was a good teacher at Signal, despite his misfortunate semblance. It would be rather ironic if the woman who abandoned his best friend and his two nieces would turn out to be an actually good teacher. But considering that this was his sister he was thinking about, there's a good chance that she'll just run back to the tribe that he and Raven grew up in.
That's what the collar around her neck is for. It tracks her position at all times. The collar could only be deactivated via remote control. Qrow has the remote on him. So until she fulfills her end of the bargain, the collar stays on.
-4-
"These exams are going to be nothing like UA or the huntsmen academies, or whatever pansy high school you went to," Raven said. "This is Daybreak Academy, a place where legends are made. We push you brats to do the best when we ask for it. This exam is about one thing and one thing only: survival of the fittest. The strong devour the weak. We're separating the wheat from the chaff and if you're the chaff, well that's just too bad. Pass the exams, and congratulations, you just won yourself a little respect from me."
Raven looked at the crowd and glanced at Yang.
'Don't think I'm here because I want to be here,' Raven thought. "When this school is done with you, you will be lean, mean, fighting machines. You're going to be the best of the best. You're going to be number 1 because we don't do second best around here. Now get over to where you'll be taking your written exams as shown in the document provided and get out of my sight."
And just like that, it was all over. The applicants headed out of the auditorium. She breathed a sigh of relief, knowing this was all over.
"Well sis, you did a good job," she heard Qrow's voice.
"Yeah, now get this fucking collar off my neck before I come over there and break your neck," Raven said.
"Hostile as always," Qrow said. "Well, a deal is a deal, so I guess I might as well carry out my end of the deal."
She felt the collar loosen up around her neck. The collar opened and she took it off. She felt glad to finally be rid of that thing once and for all. She hated having that stupid thing on her neck. It was a real pain in her ass.
"And now we're square," Qrow said.
"Good," Raven said. "Because I have better things to do than be here."

Tokyo
Eva was standing before a grave. The tombstone reads as:
DAICHI KAZAMA
LOVING HUSBAND AND FATHER
1979 - 2006
Eva looked upon the grave with sadness in her heart. Being here brought up memories of the man she loved. Both good and bad memories. Eva loved that man more than anything in the world until Kizuna was born.
"Anata... our son is in Neo Bastion, following in your footsteps, and is on his way to making his dreams come true," Eva said. "He's going to become just like you. He's going to become a keyblade master just like you did when you were his age."
She smiled as she placed a flower down on his tombstone. Tears welled up in her eyes.
"I'm sure the Order will take notice of our son and invite them into their ranks as an initiative. But he still has a long road to follow," Eva said. "I hope that Kami is watching over our child. I hope that the Gods are watching over him. He will need friends by his side."
She put her hands together, sitting in a seiza position, closing her eyes, and beginning to pray.
"Oh Kami, please watch over my son..." Eva said as she choked on her sobs.

Daybreak Academy
Kizuna breathed a sigh of relief after completing the written exam. He drew from a box and pulled out a piece of paper bearing the Greek letter omega. He found some people gathered up, holding the same slip of paper.
"Hey," He heard a feminine voice.
He turned to see a girl with black hair and blue eyes. One of her bangs was swept to the left and was red.
"I'm guessing you got this, right?" The girl asked, pulling out a slip of paper with the omega symbol on it.
"Yeah, I did," Kizuna said. "Why are you asking?"
"Oh, nothing really—"
"So this is the boy who made the news a year ago," A more stern female voice cuts in with the sound a heel click.
He saw a girl with longer black hair. She had blue eyes accompanied by thick eyebrows. She had a stern face. There was a radiant light coming from behind her. She observed him with her eyes. He felt like her gaze was peering into soul.
"Hmph, a pig in human clothing wielding power behind his own understanding..." She muttered. "And already, he thinks he can climb up a mountain because he has such power..."
"H-Hey!" Kizuna said. "I am not a pig! I'm a human person!"
"I'll be the judge of that," the taller girl said. "Ryuko, quit wasting your time with him, we have better things to do."
The girl walks past the two, but not before he suddenly heard a whisper in his ear.
"Prove yourself on the field, Sora's Vessel."
'Wha—?'
"Ugh, fine, Satsuki," The girl named Ryuko said. "Excuse my older sister, she can be a real pain in the ass sometimes. But you'll get used to it... if you make it through the exams that is."
She pats his shoulder and walks away. The boy watched as the two girls walked away. He sighed as he headed over to the group of people there.
-7-
Observation Room
In the room was Mickey Mouse, as well as some of the teachers here. The time for the field exams was drawing near. All preparations were made. Qrow was in the room as well.
"It seems like everything is ready to go," A teacher said. "The staff reports that everything is working perfectly."
"Good," Mickey said. "I want the applicants sent to each of the training areas at once."
"On it," One of the teachers said before leaving the room.
Mickey looked at the monitor with tension.
'This won't be like all the other entrance exams from before,' Mickey thought. 'Kizuna, Yujo, Ai... they'll be tested to their limits along with so many others. Can they keep up?'
'Petals... Yang... I hope you and your friends are mentally prepared for what comes next,' Qrow thought. 'Because this won't be like your initiation into Beacon.'
-8-
Training Area Omega
Kizuna, as well as other applicants, arrived at what looked to be some kind of makeshift mountain range. There was a forest at the foot of the mountains. The applicants were standing on a cliff. It was incredible seeing a place like this. It felt surreal, coming here after arriving in Neo Bastion. He never thought that such a futuristic looking metropolis could have something that looked so... natural. Sure, there were parks here in the fortress city, but not an entire mountain range. So much effort went into Neo Bastion's construction and this training area was just one of the results of all that hard work.
"Wow... would you look at this place," Jiminy said, now on Kizuna's shoulder. "Impressive, ain't it?"
"Took the words right out of my mouth," Kizuna said. "To think something like this would be here of all places..."
"Hey now, don't get too excited," Jiminy said. "You still have to pass the exams."
"R-Right," Kizuna said.
Jiminy went back into Kizuna's pocket. Kizuna saw Yujo approaching him. Kizuna froze up for a bit and looked at the young man. The young man looked at Kizuna with an iron stare.
"You again..." Yujo said.
Kizuna regained his composure and looked at Yujo, making eye contact with him. The air felt tense around Kizuna.
"Yujo Yukikaze..."
"Kizuna Daichi..."
"Why hello there boys~"
The two turned to see a girl with a familiar face. Kizuna could have sworn he had seen her before. He took a moment to think. Dark brown hair... cyan-colored eyes... that smile...
"You're that girl from earlier..." Kizuna said. "What was it again? A-Ai?"
"Ai Nanami is the name, and you boys look like my type~" Ai said with a wink and smile.
Yujo didn't budge. He seemed unfazed, unlike Kizuna, who blushed and looked shy.
"Nanami!" A stern voice called, causing the girl to freeze.
It was Diana Cavendish. The English girl looked serious and rather annoyed.
"Professor Ursula was quite clear when she said not to get too distracted by boys!" Diana said. "And furthermore, your mo—master, lady Kairi, wants you to pass the exams just like Headmistress Holbrooke wants us to!"
"I know! I know!" Ai said. "Ugh! Can't you let me just have this moment?!"
"But we already went through this already!" Diana said. "You can wait until after the exams are over!"
"Grrr... fine!" Ai said. "Sorry boys, but I got to go..."
She walked off, grumbling.
"Hey, Yujo, what are you doing?"
The boys turned to another voice to see Yuji.
"Itadori..." Yujo said.
"Hey, you're that guy from earlier," Yuji said, noticing Kizuna right away. "Say, Yujo, what are you—?"
"I was just having a conversation," Yujo said. "Nothing more."
Yujo walked away. Kizuna watched as he walked off.
"You certainly have a talent of meeting some strange people," Kizuna heard Yoh's voice coming from behind him.
Kizuna turned around and looked shocked.
"Y-Yoh!" Kizuna said. "You scared me!"
"Whoops, sorry," Yoh said. "Hm... that Yujo guy... he's no ordinary human."
"You're telling me... the guy is a jerk and he's slightly taller than me..." Kizuna said.
"That's not what I meant," Yoh said. "There was something about that guy that felt... off."
"Off?" Kizuna asked.
Amidamaru appeared.
"Yes master Kizuna, that young man... he had some kind of dark presence..." Amidamaru said. "Master Yoh sensed it when he came over to you."
"A dark presence?" Kizuna asked. "Now that you mentioned it... I did feel something of the sort that you were talking about..."
"I figured as much," Yoh said. "Hm... no... that can't be..."
"What are you—?"
"It's probably nothing to be concerned about," Yoh said. "We have a field exam to pass and I don't want us to be too distracted."
"R-Right!" Kizuna said. "Guess we better get going."
"Uh-Huh," Yoh said. "Come on, I think it's about to start."
The two boys walked together.
-9-
Qrow was standing in front of the applicants. He looked at each and every one of them. He could spot Ruby, Yang, Weiss, Blake, Jaune, Pyrrha, Ren, and Nora among them. Qrow remembers them well. Being here reminded him of the initiation those kids went to at Beacon.
And the pain that came with it when he was flying around as a bird...
He cleared his throat.
"Welcome applicants, I'm Qrow Branwen, I'm a teacher here and this is Training Area Omega, the perfect place for all of you nature-loving people out here today," Qrow said. "This place is perfect for the trials and tribulations and whatever it is that you're about to face in the field exam."
He pulled out a device that looked like a walkie-talkie. It had what looked like a lens on the front and a knob on the right side. He pressed a button and it began to show a holographic map of the region.
"You have several objectives to complete here," Qrow said. "Your first objective is to form a group. The group's size doesn't matter, just as long as you are all part of a group."
"H-Huh?" One of the applicants spoke up. "Wait, y-you mean..."
"Yeah, you can form into a big group, but know that you're all being scored individually, so you better pull your weight to earn your salt," Qrow said. "Your second objective is to then make it towards one of the three rendezvous points. Once you arrive at those coordinates, that is where you will complete your third objective: locating an artifact hidden inside a temple."
The three rendezvous points were put on the map. They showed up one three of the mountains here in the area.
"Your group simply needs one or two of them. After that, your fourth objective is to make it for the exit shown on the map," Qrow said as an exfiltration point appeared over by a clearing. "Once you make it to the exit, you'll have passed the exams. It may sound as simple as that, but don't get ahead of yourselves. You'll be up against some monsters that are waiting for you. You'll earn points for every monster you defeat. You cannot pass the exam while having 0 points. If you don't so much have a single point when you get to the exit, you can kiss your dreams goodbye and go home."
He turns the projection off.
"Any questions?" Qrow asked.
-10-
Izuku raised his hand up. Qrow looked at Izuku.
"Alright Broccoli boy, let's hear it," Qrow said.
"R-Right!" Izuku said. "There aren't going to be any sort of surprise or anything like that, right?"
Izuku had that thought in his head since coming here. Everything about these exams was reminding him of the entrance exams he went through in order to be a student at UA. He looked nervous just from asking the question.
Qrow, however, was smiling.
"Kid, if there hidden traps or something, I'd have pointed those things out already. I did say there were going to be monsters, not hidden traps," Qrow said. "And no, there is no giant robot hiding here, so relax."
"B-But—"
"Anyone else got any better questions?" Qrow asked.
Kizuna patted Izuku's back.
"Are you ok?" Kizuna asked.
"N-No..." Izuku said. "I'm getting goosebumps."
"Hey, if didn't mention any sort of hidden trap, he'd have told us," Kizuna said.
"Yeah, things will work out," Yoh said.
"I wouldn't be too sure about that," Todoroki said. "He was smiling and he was being rather coy with that answer."
"And besides, since when has their uncle ever told a joke?" Blake asked.
"I'd say we should expect the worse," Weiss said. "We can't afford to let our guard down."
"Won't that make us a bit high strung?" Bakugo asked. "If we get too wound up, it'll cost us."
"Can't we just be more like Yoh?" Madoka asked. "If he thinks everything will work out, then we have to believe that things will turn out good for us."
"I wouldn't act like that idiot if I were you,"
"Huh?" Kizuna looked confused. "Um... Bakugo? Was that you?"
"Are you high right now?" Bakugo asked. "I don't sound like that at all!"
"Not all the time," Todoroki said.
"What's that supposed to mean, half-n-half?" Bakugo asked.
"I believe the person who said that is standing right behind us."
They looked to Homura, who was turning around. They looked at her direction and found a boy who was shorter than Yoh. He had purple hair styled into a spike. His eyes were of a golden yellow coloration. He was wearing black pants and a black vest with triangle patterns that came with yellow lines. The pants were tied to a white silk belt and he had brown dress shoes to boot.
"Just because he says that everything will work out, that doesn't mean you should believe it every time he says that," The boy said.
"Ren, you're here too?" Yoh asked.
Everyone but Todoroki and Homura looked at Yoh in surprise. Homura and Todoroki had a blank look on their faces.
"You know this guy?" They all asked.
"Oh yeah, I didn't introduce you guys to him yet..." Yoh said. "Guys, this is—"
"Tao Ren, 43rd head of the Tao Family," the boy spoke. "Now who the heck are these guys?"
"Well..." Yoh said. "I kinda met these guys a year ago when a giant monster suddenly showed up in Tokyo and—"
"Basically, we all killed it," Kyoko said. "And the new keyblader on the block who cut the thing in half."
She looked at Kizuna, making him look flustered and slightly embarrassed.
"Well I... I guess I did slice it in half..." Kizuna said. "B-But we couldn't have done it together!"
"..." Ren was silent. "Hmph. I didn't think that Daybreak would be desperate enough to allow some amateur here."
"H-Huh?" Kizuna asked, looking confused.
"Hey, Ren, come on, you don't have to be like that," Yoh said.
"Yoh, that guy only got lucky. He only gained his powers just recently and he thinks he can take on the entrance exams?" Ren asked. "He won't make it far in the field exams."
"W-What?!" Kizuna exclaimed.
"You..." Ren focus's his gaze on Kizuna. "Did you train for this moment?"
"I trained for a whole year," Kizuna said.
"Ha! A year! As if that's all the time you needed to prepare yourself!" Ren said. "I was trained from the moment I was born. Sure, I didn't get a chance at childhood, but at least my training prepped me for the inevitability that I come here. You? You trained for one year. One. That's not good enough!"
"Oi, Ren, I think you're going a bit overboard with the—"
"Yoh, do you honestly think that someone like him will make it to the end of the exams?" Ren asked.
Yoh smiled.
"Everything will work out," Yoh said. "I just know it."
"Tch," Ren scoffed.
Sayaka was getting mad at this.
"Why you—!"
"No, he's right about one thing,"
The group looked at Kizuna. His hands were balled into fists. There was not anger in his eyes. Instead, there was something else.
"A single year of training might not be enough..." Kizuna said.
Thinking back to his encounters with Yujo, Kizuna began to notice something. Kizuna felt like Yujo wasn't taking him seriously. As for Ren, Kizuna knew that Ren wasn't completely wrong.
"In fact, I once thought the same thing..." Kizuna said.
"Hm?" Ren looked perplexed.
Kizuna looked at Ren, his eyes brimming with a fire inside them.
"But then my mother told to believe in my heart, for the heart is my guiding key," Kizuna said. "If I believe in my heart, I'll be able to climb even the tallest of mountains."
Ren didn't say anything. He merely turned around and walked away. Everyone watched as Ren walked away.
"See, what did I tell you? Everything is going to be just fine," Yoh said.
"Oh, and as for why you guys are standing on this cliff, it's purely simple," They heard Qrow speak and looked at him.
Qrow was snickering.
"See, from where I come from, there's this thing called a landing strategy," Qrow said. "How does it work? Well... you're going to have to make your own landing strategy up and you better make it snappy."
"Um... Mr Qrow, what are you talking about?" Kizuna asked, raising his hand.
The man began to laugh. Everyone, especially Ruby, Weiss, Blake and Yang, started to look worried. Ruby and her friends immediately looked at the others.
"We uh... have a confession to make..." Yang said.
"Right now?!" Sayaka asked.
"Yeah... uh... promise me you guys won't get mad about what we're about to tell you..." Ruby said.
"Why?" Madoka asked, feeling more scared than worried.
"You guys don't know, don't you?" Yang asked. "Weiss? Blake?"
"Oh no! You tell them! You're the oldest!" Weiss said.
"We're going to be launched through the air and we have to land without breaking all of our limbs," Blake said.
"L-Launched?" Izuku asked.
"Into the air?" Kyoko asked.
"How?" Kizuna asked.
"Oh no..." Yoh said, looking to the ground.
"That's right! You're all standing over a big launch pad installed right into this very cliff!" Qrow said. "Have a nice flight and try not to break a leg on the landing!"
Kizuna looked at Qrow.
"WAIT! I'M NOT MENTALLY PREPARED FOR—!"
The launch pad activated and flung all the applicants, sending Kizuna and his friends screaming as they went flying.
