Ch. 49 Titan vs Titans

Pov.

-Kara-

I make my way out to the garden where I saw Sasha sleeping under a tree

"C'mon Sasha we told you you shouldn't have had so much last night" Connie shakes her shoulder

"Yeah I know I got a little distracted it's all" she yawns

"Well c'mon then" he helps her up

"Everyone ready ?" I smack my lips noticing my throat was dry again

"Of course we'll be out in 15 minutes" I hear Zoe behind me

"15?" I ask

"Yes we need to reach trost district before sundown" Zoe says

"Right" I sigh

"C'mon make sure your horses are ready" Levi says

"Yes sir" Connie says before he and everyone left

I grab Sashas arm "not a word from last night" I squeeze her arm making sure she knew what'd happen if word gets out

She gulps "r-right" she whimpers

"Kara!" I hear Historia

I let go of Sasha and she quickly hurries off

"Hey!" I smile at Historia

"Y-you said you'd be leaving in three hours" she huffs

"Well I forgot I'm a lot faster on Odin that's all" I reach for her hands "I have to get going alright?" I peck her lips

"Okay" she blushes seeing me off

We rode on to Trost district arriving after 5 hours and we rested for the remaining of the time tillit was finally 8:40p.m and the sun began setting

"You sure you don't want me getting ahead?" I ask Erwin

"Yes I'm plenty sure" he says

"We can't take any chances Kara.. please just stick with the plan okay?" Armin says

"Yeah don't worry about it man" I shrug it off

"Please this is serious Kara" Armin begs

"I said, I got it" I repeat myself "what do you take me for?"

"Look we all know how you can get, it was Historia who warned me you might want to do things your way and as far as we seen, it's how you've been doing things" Armin says

"Set your emotions aside and stick to the plan it's that simple" Levi says

"I know.. trust me I want succeed just as much as everyone else" I say

"Thank you" Armin sighs "that's much better"

After that we rode for hours till we finally reached wall Maria when the sun began rising

"C'mon Sasha you can't tell us it's nothing you've been awfully quiet since this morning" Connie says

"I said it's really nothing" Sasha says

"Ahha so it is something!" Connie shouts

"Well.." she stops for a second

"Enough" I said before she said another word "get it together Sasha it isn't the time.. Make sure your head is here and not in the clouds, I'm not losing a single person from my squad not even you two idiots"

"H-hey" Connie frowns

"Heh* yessir" Sasha chuckles nervously

After three minutes we finally arrived and we switched to ODM gear and swing up onto the top of the wall

First things first I take a whiff of the air and I the first thing I sensed was the satisfying scent of tea

"You smell that?" I ask Sasha who had a sense of smell as keen as mine

"Yeah they must've camped up here" she says before taking another sniff

"I smell the four of them, the Beast titan, Bertolt, Reiner, and Annie" I say though I felt like there could be a fifth scent

"Is there a fifth?" Sasha asks

"Could be, Connie go let Erwin and Armin know we sense five enemies total two female three male" I tell him

"Did you get all that from smelling the air?" he asks

"Go!" I demand

"Right s-sorry" he apologizes before going off

I stop Sasha before she could join up with Mikasa and the rest "remember if a single word slips out about what happened I'll make sure you don't go home to daddy" I whisper

"U-understood" she whimpers

She was terrified

Perfect

I can't risk losing Historia or my place on the throne that could ruin everything we've worked so hard to get

After dismissing her Connie came back with Erwins response "Armin reported seeing a camp had been set up on the wall and been put out along with four cold mugs" he says

Four? The fifth didn't drink with them

"Cold?" I ask

"It's what he said"

"The fifth could've been spying on us coming in at least five minutes in advance" I say

It must've been that odd titan scent I smelt before we arrived I shrugged it off as a sleeping titan nearby but I guess it could've been the new fifth another transforming titan

"Alright give Eren my go to close the inner wall"

They haven't shown themselves, why?

There should've been chaos the second we made it over the wall but instead it was awfully quiet

I watch as Connie made it with the rest of my squad and shot a green signal flair letting everyone know he was about to seal up the hole

They should attack any moment now.. But I watch as Eren got closer and closer to the hole

Why is it so quiet? Do they want us to cover up the hole?

Fuck whats happenig

If so, why? What's on the inner side of the wall Maria.. Titans but they shouldn't be up just yet plus we can easily get away from them and camp it out till night time when it's safer

But what else is over there ?

According to the reports from castle where Historia had been trapped in with the rest of the squad, the beast titan seemed to be able to control the titans

Now that I remember back in Trost they lead a horde of titans from Karanes from inside of wall Rose trapping all the fleeing people and slaughtering all the civilians only to make sure I wouldn't escape

"Nghk" I choke just noticing I had unconsciously chugged the entire gallon of water I had packed

Fuck I'm mad thirsty what the fu-

Wait..

Odin and the horses are on the other side of the wall

If Eren seals the hole the horses can't come over here and if the beast titan is on their side he'll slaughter the horses our only chance for escape

I quickly draw the black signal flair to halt the mission and I shoot it into the sky

But I was too late

I pulled the trigger the same time lightning struck the ground and Eren took on his titan form

I could only watch helplessly as Eren plugged up the hole

"Fuck" I growl running down the edge of the wall towards the other hole

I'll need to seal it before they decide to send a horde of those things inside here

And if I do it in my titan state it'll take less effort to seal it

Plus no doubt they'll finally come out and play

I slice my pinky finger off

And with a lightning strike and after the purple aura faded away I finally took on my titan form after so long of keeping it in hiding

"Yes!" I growl landing right in front of the hole

I hold out my palm ready to plug the hole

Only when I looked up I see Annie wielding a sword she had hardened

And before I could react she jerks it up slicing my arm right off

Damn it they were already this close ?

"What a fucking joke" I growl before I felt a sharp pain in my other arm before it fell onto the ground

I stumble back seeing I had lost both arms and I find myself staring down the two Titans that were responsible for all this madness

"Ohh how I've waited for this" I smile

"You look.. Different" Reiner says as the both of them began circling me waiting for my arms to grow back

"What? playing fair this time?" I ask after my arms grew back

"We'll destroy you either way" Reiner growls

Hand to hand huh?

Is that what they want ?

"Perfect," I take a deep breath "COME AT ME!!" my roar sends a shock wave across the city before they both began charging at me

Ik I made this chapter a little shorter than usual. I just wanted to fit the entire fight into a single chapter so it wouldn't be all weird. but do expect tmrs to be extra long and extra fucking juicy like my co- or I might just post another chapter even though I said I would only post three chapters on weekends
