Chapter 28: Tale of Two Sisters
I think I've talked about this topic before, but I'll say it again. One of the strongest bonds that can exist in human relationships is the relationship between siblings. Many times, we do everything possible to support and help our siblings. Because that connection is not only biological, but also emotional and social. Brotherhood is a strong feeling that can bring out the best or the worst in us. We've seen some sibling relationships here, but today we're going to look at a different sibling relationship. One in which both people had to trust each other in order to survive.
In a distant place in Abysmal Town, a city hundreds of kilometers away from BubbleTucky, an important legal process is taking place. After a lot of paperwork, bureaucracy and legal processes, an important decision was made for our protagonists.
"The Abysmal Town Court of Justice has made the decision to approve the request of the accused Robynn Stone to apply for Parole. This is due to the little participation of the accused in the crimes committed in the Battle of BubbleTucky. In addition to demonstrating good behavior and participating in social reintegration programs. Robynn Stone must sign every month to verify that she is complying with the conditions for parole. One of these is not to leave Abysmal Town without the authorization of a judge and police escort. Any breach of these established rules, the relevant authorities may take action and return her to the penitentiary facility and continue her sentence in prison with the risk of increasing her sentence. The session is adjourned!" A judge made the final decision.
At that time, Robynn Stone had been released on strict conditions. The girl managed to win her legal battle and her victory did not go unnoticed. Her younger sister Wilma was happy for her and together they decided to spend some special time together. The first thing they did was eat at a local pizza place to live out the old times. They had not seen each other in years and a reunion was necessary.
"I see you still love Hawaiian pizza...You definitely haven't changed, sis" Robynn noticed the type of pizza she chose.
"I'm surprised you're eating Hawaiian pizza with me...You normally hate this pizza" Wilma asked her.
"Nah….This pizza is a delicacy compared to prison food. Believe me, in prison I learned to eat everything without complaining... I mean, it was that or starve to death" Robynn commented a bit about her experience in prison.
"Oh….I guess it was a bad experience being in prison...I'm very sorry" Wilma felt sorry for her sister's condition.
"You don't have to be sorry. After all, it's not your fault...It's the fault of those Bubble Guppies…." Robynn commented before taking another slide of pizza.
"Of course... But, you know, I still have a hard time believing what you say. They don't seem like bad people to me. In fact, Goby and I are good friends…" Wilma commented confusedly.
"We'll talk about that another time. When we have to leave for the meeting point. For now, let's enjoy this moment between sisters, okay?" Robynn poured herself and her sister a couple of glasses of wine. She raised one of the glasses to make a toast " For my sister"
"Hehe…For my sister too" Wilma made the toast with her sister and they both drank their glasses of wine and continued with their time of charity.
Although this moment was very nice, both of them already had a meeting with someone else scheduled. After a few hours, they went to a small apartment where a teenage guppy was waiting for them at the entrance.
"Ugh! It's about time you arrived, nenas! You girls took too long!" It was Nacho, Harris' apprentice.
"Step aside, brat. I'm only talking to the man in charge, not the kid" Robynn faced him.
"Pfff….You are only saved because Harris needs both of them...Go ahead" Nacho responded by rolling his eyes and letting them pass. Robynn simply smiled victoriously while Wilma felt insecure. They both entered the apartment, but not before hearing a not very pleasant comment "Heeeello, nena! I didn't know you were into this too. I think I can tolerate you…" Nacho said before contemplating Wilma's beauty, especially some parts of her body.
"Ahem…..Not to be rude but...I'm older than you" Wilma said, trying to answer him, even though she felt uncomfortable.
"That's not a problem for me…I like big girls, muñeca" Nacho commented that, being in bad taste for the girls.
"You make another comment like that to my little sister and you will never see the light of day again, brat!" Robynn said menacingly, cracking her knuckles to show her anger and ferocity.
"I want to see you try, pendeja" Nacho prepared to attack, if not for the boss appearing.
"Pull yourselves together, fellas!" The unpredictable Harris appeared in front of them, giving those present a slight scare.
"Jefe, I just….." Nacho tried to explain himself.
"Oh Nacho...Nobody taught you how to treat a woman right. What a lack of chivalry, man. You better go watch the place. Do your job while I talk to the ladies" Harris ordered in his humorous, slightly authoritarian tone. Nacho simply snorted in complaint and obeyed. Finally, the Stone sisters were left alone with Harris "Sup, ladies! I apologize for Nacho's attitude. He's young like we were and his hormones are raging. Anyway, come on in and make yourselves comfortable" Harris greeted them and invited them to come by the apartment. The girls entered and sat on the couch. Harris sat on the couch opposite them and poured some glasses of wine. The room looked middle class.
"What a meeting point you chose, Harris" Robynn commented sarcastically.
"What did you want, babe? A room in a 5-star hotel? We have to be practical and discreet. Besides, I'm a man of simple tastes. I'm modest in that sense. Anyway, we came to talk business. I see that the plan to get you out of prison was a success. All thanks to me and your younger sister Wilma" Harris explained.
"Well, nothing a sister wouldn't do for her sister" Wilma said nervously.
"Well...Thanks to both of you..." Robynn replied.
"Isn't it adorable? A pair of sisters loving each other and doing everything for each other... It's oddly touching..." Harris commented with a smirk.
"Yeah, you have no idea what we had to go through" Robynn said coldly.
"You're right. That's why I'd like you to tell me a little bit. It's funny, we work together and I never knew about your past" Harris answered.
"Funny, I never asked you about your past...As if that matters to me" Robynn replied.
"Ha! That was cold, even for you. First, if you want to know more about my story, I recommend reading a few chapters back. Specifically Chapter 17" Harris mentioned it as a funny way to break the 4th way "And second. Unlike Jane...I do care about the Sinister Guppies. I mean, we need to get to know each other better if we want to create a union equal to or more powerful than the Bubble Fools. Besides, I want to get to know you better, babe" He wiggled his eyebrows flirtatiously.
"You really are an idiot" Robynn rolled her eyes.
"Ummmm I can tell you if that's what you want" Wilma said quietly.
"Okay...I do it. I tell the story better. Plus, I know more details than you, little sister" The older sister commented.
"Oh yeah, fellas! I'm excited to hear your origin story. We all have one. I wish I had popcorn here" Harris said funnily.
"Well, he is bizarrely charismatic" Wilma giggled a bit.
"Anyway...I warn you that it is a long story" Robynn said seriously.
"For you I would listen to you for a whole life…." Harris said funnily and a bit romantic.
"Ahem….Yeah, whatever…..It all started many years ago in GrayStone City..." Robynn started to tell her story.
Flashback…..Many years ago
A few years ago, the situation in GrayStone City was complicated. In those years the economy was not the best and the growth of social insecurity and crime rate began. And why do we need to know this? Because the social factor affected a humble family in that city. We are talking about the Stone family. The Stone family is made up of a couple who has had many downs but also ups. Mr. Stone had a simple business of his own. Mrs. Stone preferred to stay home and go out with her friends. The couple had a couple of daughters. We know the eldest daughter, her name is Robynn Stone. A big girl who learned to be independent and help her father sometimes in the business or at home, since her mother did not usually do many things at home. Thanks to her closeness with her father, she was able to develop a stronger personality. She decided to become even stronger when she found out that she would have a younger sister. Her name was Wilma. Since they met, they became the perfect duo. While Robynn was physically strong and an "action girl", Wilma opted for a quieter, more submissive personality, but she was also smarter. On their own, they were good. But together, they were excellent. In fact, I thought it would be appropriate to show you some of the experiences of both.
It was an elementary school day. The age difference between Robynn and Wilma was only two years. The older sister was in her third grade, while the other was in her first grade. We can see how a young version of Wilma was being cornered by two girls and a boy a little older than her.
"Please leave me alone...It's not enough for you to take away my allowance" Wilma said fearfully.
"It wasn't enough, little one. Besides, we like to have fun with you... Don't we?" The girl who was the leader said.
"Yes, we like to have fun with you, rag hair" The other girl added. They made fun of Wilma because she wore an African-style braided hairstyle.
"It's a shame your mommy and daddy can't get you better things, rag doll" The boy annoyed her. Being a modest family, neither Wilma nor Robynn wore expensive clothes. They barely had what they needed.
"Grab her, guys!" Their leader forced her friends to catch Wilma. The boy and the girl caught her.
"Let me go! Let me go!" Wilma tried to scream.
"Don't be rude...I just want to give you a "style change"...Maybe you would look better without those horrible braids" The girl said before taking out a pair of scissors to play a cruel joke on her.
"Please no! I'll do anything! I'll give you more allowances! I'll do your homework! I'll give you the answers to the tests! But please, not my braids! Dad made them nice and with love!" Wilma begged with tears.
"Oh really? Well I don't care...We want to see you with the new haircut we're going to give you" The leader smiled evilly until someone else appeared behind her.
"What do you think you're doing with my little sister?!" It was the younger version of Robynn.
"Oh Robynn, my favorite girl..." The leader looked at her.
"Girl? I always thought you were her brother" The boy said sarcastically.
"Very funny...Let my sister go right now...Or you'll see" Robynn said seriously.
"We don't have to pay attention to her... especially not to the daughter of a thief!" The girl who Wilma captured answered.
"Don't you dare call my father that way! Dad made a mistake. He already paid for what he did and he's a great man now... And a great dad! If you call him a thief again I'll break your mouth.
"Should we trust your word? You're just the daughter of a swindler and a thief" The leader said. Big mistake. Robin punched her in the face, leaving her with a black eye and very dazed.
"AAAAGHHHH!" The girl screamed.
"Sis, don't!" Wilma tried to calm her.
"Don't just stand there staring... Defend me, you pair of useless people!" The leader friends let Wilma go to beat Robynn. But they didn't know that Robynn was going to wipe the floor with them. For only 8 years old, she was very strong. So much so that she knocked the other kids to the ground with hard blows.
"Grrrr! You guys want more?" Robynn screamed angrily.
"You are a bastard!" The leader of the group got carried away by anger and used the scissors to try to hurt Robynn.
"Sis, behind you!" Wilma warned her. Robynn discovered her on time and she grabbed her wrist strongly.
"Attack from behind? That's low!" Robynn did not tolerate that and broke her wrist.
"AAAAGHHHH!" The bully girl screamed and fell.
"Sis, what have you done?" Wilma asked scaredly.
"I couldn't let them keep bothering you. If they mess with you, they mess with me" Robynn smirked a bit, but her smile would not last until.
"BUT WHAT?! ROBYNN, WILMA, TO MY OFFICE NOW! YOU ARE IN SERIOUS TROUBLE!" A teacher appeared and took them both to report them to the principal.
We find ourselves in the school principal's office. There we see the director, the teacher, Robynn and Wilma and, surprisingly, their father.
"Please, director...You must be joking" Mr. Stone tried to be reasoning.
"This is not the first time, sir. I will not tolerate actions like this. Now Robynn broke a student's wrist" The principal said seriously.
"Because that stupid girl has been bullying my little sister! But of course, you don't tell that part of the story, right?" Robynn defended herself.
"Sis, calm down" Wilma tried to calm her.
"I will not accept actions and behavior of this nature. Robynn and Wilma Stone are permanently expelled from this school!" The principal shouted.
"What's wrong with you, principal! Why are you expelling my sister too? If you want, just expel me because I broke her hand... But my sister is innocent. In fact, my sister has been bullied by them her entire first year of school. We talked to the teacher and to you... And you haven't done a damn thing! You want someone to die so you can do something!?" Robynn explained.
"That doesn't match up with the witnesses. The other kids also saw Wilma as your accomplice" The teacher replied.
"As for you, you will not be returning to this school! Mr. Stone, I recommend that you enroll your daughter in anger management therapy. Behaviors like this are not ideal for her age. You may leave" The principal ordered. Mr. Stone simply sighed and took his two daughters with him. They were going to talk at home. So the trip was silent and long.
Robynn and Wilma arrived home with their father. Mrs. Stone was not home. So they ordered fast food to get rid of the bad taste in their mouths. After calming things down a bit, the father had to talk to both daughters.
"Now tell me, what happened there?" Mr. Stone asked them.
"They were bothering me from the moment I entered school on my first day. They would take my allowance and make practical jokes and bad jokes because...well...we are not very wealthy people" Wilma was very sad.
"I just defended my sister from those idiots. Besides, I can't stand it when they said we were the daughters of a swindler and a thief (sigh) I know you did that, but you're a different person... I can't stand someone who speaks badly of my sister or you" Robynn crossed her arms.
"(sigh) You know what? I'm not proud of my past life...but meeting your mother and having you two were what changed my life. Look, I admire that you take care of each other...but you have to know that in the world there will be people who will say horrible things to you. For the way you dress, talk, act...and many other things. But we have to learn to face it in a peaceful and different way. Show them that we are better than what they think of us. And the most important thing: Always stay together. You are better together" Mr. Stone explained to them with a smile.
"Hey, I'm so sorry. You got kicked out too because of me" Robynn said to her sister.
"Nah, it 's okay. We were expelled because they gave false testimony. I mean, they are children of important people... who are sponsors of the school... We messed with the wrong people" Wilma commented.
"I don't care. It was worth defending you" Robynn punched her shoulder funnily.
"Well, we'll work out these details another day. Go get some rest, my princesses" Mr. Stone kissed their foreheads.
"Awwww thanks, daddy!" Wilma said happily.
"Yuk!" Robynn rolled her eyes "Very cheesy…"
"No matter how tough and strong you are, you will always be my princess in my eyes" Mr. Stone smiled.
"Hmmm….I only allow you to call me in that way ... .but not in public" Robynn clarified.
"Hehehe sure. Good night, dears" He took them to their shared room and kissed them both goodnight. Mr. Stone simply closed the bedroom door and waited for his wife. Curiously, she arrived a few seconds ago.
"Howdy, handsome!" Mrs. Stone appeared. She didn't look very herself, so to speak.
"Ugh….Dear, did you go to a party again?" Mr. Stone asked her.
"Yeah….You missed it….What's wrong with me having fun?" Mrs. Stone talked, as if she was drunk.
"Well, in your case you're always partying. And it's not like we have a lot of money. I remind you that there are bills to pay and two little girls to take care of and support. Speaking of them, I'm sure you don't even know what happened to them" Mr. Stone said seriously.
"What are you talking about? What did the girls do?" The woman asked him.
"They were expelled from school for fighting with some classmates. Something that wasn't entirely their fault. I had to close the store early so I could go to school. And I see that you could have gone and you didn't" Mr. Stone explained.
"Oh! Now I'm the bad guy?" She asked sarcastically.
"Look, I'm just asking you to help with the house and the girls. Since you don't want to work, at least you can help around the house while I work non-stop. But while I bring in the bread, you spend what we earn on your parties and trips with your friends. Which are bad influences. I'm just asking that you pay attention to Robynn and Wilma. You're never home! And when you are, you don't pay attention to us and you're always on your cell phone" Mr. Stone scolded her.
"Listen to me! Can't I live the life I so desire? I remind you that I lost my youth because of you. Do you want me to remind you at what age you got me pregnant with our first daughter? Do you think she was planned?" Mrs. Stone shouted at him.
"Don't talk about Robynn like that. Maybe we didn't plan it... But I still accepted her and loved her. Do you love her? Or our second daughter?" The two parents began to argue. What they didn't know was that upstairs, young Robynn saw and heard everything. She tried not to make any noise so her parents wouldn't notice her presence. She returned to her room that she shared with her younger sister.
"I guess mom came early this time?" Wilma said quietly.
"(sigh) Yeah…..Sometimes I prefer when she comes home late. We're all sleeping and there's no arguing" Robynn said, rolling her eyes.
"Sis….Do you think mom and dad...you know...break up? I mean, they just argue and argue" Wilma asked scaredly.
"If that were to happen... I would like to go with Dad with you... Dad at least is more attentive and takes care of us. Mom on the other hand, I think she doesn't even know that we are her daughters" Robynn analyzed.
"But I don't want them to be separated. I mean, Mom may not be very affectionate...But she's still our mom...And I love her" Wilma commented.
"Unfortunately, that's not up to us. But hey, cheer up...No matter what happens between our parents...You and I will be together...No matter what" Robynn smiled at her.
"You promise?" Wilma asked excitedly.
"I promise. You and I are unstoppable together. I am the brute force and you are the brainiac. I am the tough one and you are the tender one. We are opposites that complement each other" Robynn said determinedly. Her younger sister hugged her. Even though Robynn isn't a big fan of hugs or physical displays of affection, she let her sister keep hugging her. She knew her sister needed that comfort. And even more so knowing about her family and school problems.
The following days the situation changed slightly little by little. The Stone family enrolled Robynn and Wilma in another school. At the new institution, Robynn became a bully who only bullied or threatened those who were potential threats to her or her sister. The family relationship entered into a complex crisis. A long time passed where the couple had harsh arguments until one day the last straw came.
"...I can't go on like this, I want a divorce!" Mr. Stone said, bothered.
"You can't do that! What about the girls? What about me?"
"I'm sorry. But I can't live with you anymore. You expose our family at these parties and you're so inconsiderate with us! We're getting a divorce and I'll get custody of the girls. With you, they're in danger!" Mr. Stone said seriously.
"Now I get it! You have another lover...Isn't that right, you bastard?" She crossed her arms.
"That's not the point. Yes, I met someone special... But I was never unfaithful. Not like you. I heard that you've been with many men.. and RIGHT NOW YOU'RE DATING ONE"
"HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT?" She screamed. He took out his cell phone and showed some compromising photos. She was shocked.
"I told you before... Your friends were not trustworthy... That's how I found out. Either way, I'm filing for divorce and fighting for full custody of the girls"
"I want to see you try"
The news came as a cold shower for Robynn and Wilma. While Robynn had expected it, it was hard news for the younger sister. It was hard to take, but that was the decision. There was a certain period of uncertainty where the girls would not know their fate until later. Unfortunately for them, custody was won by the mother, because the father's criminal record caused the final decision of the lawyers and the judge. Meanwhile, Mr. Stone hoped to appeal the legal decision. At that time, Mr. Stone was forced to leave the house, because his now ex-wife kept the right to the house and custody of the daughters.
"Daddy, don't! Please, stay with us!" Wilma begged him.
"Please, Dad! You can't go...Or rather...You shouldn't go" Robynn begged too.
"Forgive me, girls. But I can't stay...Legally I can't anymore...But I want you to know something: You two are the best thing in my life and I promise to see you soon. I will do everything possible to keep you with me...I love you very much" He hugged both of them. It was the first time we saw Robynn shed tears. She tried to stand her ground, but she cried alongside her sister... who was worse off. They had to say goodbye before the father left, hoping to continue appealing for justice. At that moment, the older sister confronted her mother.
"What did you do, witch?! You knew that daddy was the best for us and you kicked him out!" Robynn said angrily.
"Don't talk to me in that tone of voice, brat! Your father no longer satisfied me and he didn't pay attention to me either" Her mother said rudely.
"Maybe he would have paid attention to you if only you weren't a cretin, a vagabond, a scoundrel, an alcoholic, a drug addict, a man-chaser, promiscuous and, worst of all, a bad mother!" Robynn faced her.
"ENOUGH!" Her mother slapped her own daughter. Robynn was slightly surprised. And rubbed her own cheek. Her mother did not look sorry "If you want to get out of the house, go ahead. I don't care. But as long as you're here... I'm the one in charge. So get out of here" The mother said rudely.
"Grrrr….Fine….But let me make it clear to you...If you touch my little sister...you're going to pay. It doesn't matter that you're my mom" Robynn threatened seriously. Her mother did not flinch and knew the things she planned to do in the coming days.
It wasn't even a few days before the mother made a radical and bad decision. She decided to bring home her current boyfriend: Lian. A boy relatively younger than her. It is known that he is a brown-skinned guppy with short, dark green hair that was dyed and with a few tattoos and is thin. His tail was black with yellow. This boy worked as a bartender and at one of those crazy parties was where he met Beth, Robynn and Wilma's mother. It is known that he was dating Beth before she divorced her husband Mr. Stone. He was a problematic boy, and that's why Robynn and him always had problems. Since he came home, she never approved of the relationship he had with her mother. Because he was just as irresponsible or even worse than her. Wilma didn't like Lian either, but at least she tried to be nice to him.
"Come on, sister...We'll be late for school" Robynn called her younger sister.
"On my way!" Wilma responded. She watched as her older sister took charge of making breakfast and packed lunch "Hmmm scrambled eggs with bacon. My favorite!"
"They are also my favorites. You know, I need protein for my sports" She said with a funny smile.
"You are very good at soccer, athletics and even boxing. You are not far from competing in youth leagues" Wilma flattered her.
"Heh…..All thanks to the discipline I imposed on myself...And dad helped me a lot...Although we haven't seen him in a long time" Robynn said quietly.
"Sup, girls! What did you make me for breakfast?" It was Lian, their mother's boyfriend.
"I made eggs and bacon...Although only for my sister and I. If you want to eat, there are eggs and bacon there for you to prepare yourself" Robynn said seriously.
"That was rude. Why didn't you make me breakfast?" Lian asked.
"Do I look like a maid to you? I'm cooking because Mom is supposed to. But she's still sleeping from her hangover from last night with you. What's wrong? Can't you just get up and cook on your own? Aren't you an adult or is it too difficult?" She asked with sarcasm.
"You better not talk to me in that tone, brat" Lian said bothered.
"Why? You are not my father" Robynn said bothered.
"Hey-Hey! Don't argue, you're going to wake up mom. Hey, Lian... If you want, you can eat my breakfast. I haven't started yet and I'm not really hungry" Wilma tried to be pacifist.
"Oh thank you, sweetheart. You should follow your sister's example, she does respect me. Now go because you're going to be late for school" Lian smirked. Robynn was upset, but decided not to respond because it would cause unnecessary trouble. Besides, she had to go to school with her sister. Lian was just a bum who took advantage of them.
If you think that was abusive, that was insignificant compared to the things the couple did. While Robynn and Wilma had to coordinate in order to fulfill their responsibilities at school, now they also had to take care of themselves, such as cleaning the house, keeping order, and preparing food. Because Beth and Lian were a couple that preferred to spend time at parties and spend money on alcohol and even drugs. Sometimes they even "did inappropriate things" in the living room or Beth's room without caring if the girls could hear them. These situations made Robynn feel unprotected by her mother, stepfather, and not to mention her father. Mr. Stone had promised to go get them, but that day never came. Because of that feeling of insecurity and lack of protection from an adult, Robynn felt forced to mature on her own. Because her motivation was to protect Wilma who still had to learn things. Robynn developed a personality where she wanted to find more strength to defend herself and her sister. To such an extent that she hated weakness and those weaker than her. Wilma still maintained her calm personality. She wanted to remain optimistic to cheer up her sister, who had become colder and more apathetic. She was the only light that helped Robynn not to be so cold and without feelings. She tried to respect and love her mother and her mother's boyfriend, even though sometimes they don't deserve it.
However, their lives were about to take a very drastic turn. A few years went by with this abuse. Robynn was a teenager in her last year of middle school and her sister was just starting middle school. She suffered the physical changes that one always suffers at that age. However, these changes did not go unnoticed by Lian. She began to make inappropriate comments when they were present. One different night something bad happened. Robynn was waiting for her mother to return home at night. It was normal for her to arrive with Lian drunk. Robynn did this to make sure that her mother and her boyfriend arrived home. However, that night was different. Lian arrived alone walking in a strange way. Something was not right for Robynn.
"Lian….Where's my mother?" She asked him seriously.
"How cold. Not even a greeting or anything" Lian said strangely.
"Answer my question" She demanded.
"Ugh! We just argued a little and she stayed at the party longer. I already wanted to go to bed" Lian answered.
"Hmmm….If you did something to my mother, I swear that..." Robynn was interrupted.
"Hey Robynn...I've never told you that you look pretty...Like your mother" Lian said with a not pleasant tone of voice.
"What things are you saying, idiot?" She felt offended.
"Look, your mother is sexy and very naughty...But she's getting old...I need some "fresh meat", and since you look like her...I think you'd be a good substitute...I mean, if you're nice to me, things will be better" He tried to touch her cheek, but she backed.
"Fuck you! You're a sick bastard...It's not enough for you to leave my sister and me to our fate" Robynn said angrily. He simply pushed her against a wooden piece of furniture, breaking it and leaving her injured.
"Wait a minute! That's it! Your sister is more beautiful than you. And unlike your grumpy attitude...she's going to give in to me" He smirked at her evilly.
"Pervert! She's younger than me!" She shouted at him.
"Exactly. It's hotter than you... And you better stay there" Lian threatened her. He headed to the sisters' room. Robynn tried to get up quickly to save Wilma. As she weakly got up and walked up the stairs, she began to hear screams.
"AAAAAHHHHH!"
"Wilma!" Robynn ran very quickly.
"You shut up...You're going to like this...Just be a good girl, okay?" Lian said as he stood on top of Wilma, with one hand on her neck to subdue her. The younger sister was about to give in out of fear, but someone stopped him.
"Get away from her, you bastard!" Robynn grabbed him by the neck from behind and began to apply a chokehold.
"AAAAAGHHHHH!" He screamed and began to force himself on Robynn, releasing the younger sister.
"RUN, SIS, RUN!" Robynn screamed. Wilma simply obeyed and ran away quickly. Robynn and Lian continued to struggle. She managed to make him crash into another piece of furniture. He fell and tried to recover. He took a piece of metal to use as a dagger to hurt her. Robynn reunited with Wilma.
"Sis, What's wrong with Lian?" She asked scaredly.
"I don't know, but we have to get out of here" Robynn said.
"You're not getting out of here, b*tches! If you're not mine, you're not going to be anyone else's!" Lian said in a demented manner and planned to stab both of them. However, Robynn had had enough of him.
"GET OUT!" In a risky maneuver, Robynn made a powerful push with her shoulder and elbow to hit him in the stomach. And not only that, something horrible happened to him.
"AAAAAAAGGHHHHHH!" That push made him fall down the stairs on his back, causing him to hit his back and head. The crash rang out and Liam found himself on the ground, unconscious and with no visible trace of life. This filled both girls with fear.
"Oh no! Oh no! What-What did we do?!" Wilma panicked.
"No...It was me, sis...I...just...Ugh...Whatever...Wilma, we're out of here!" Robynn decided to run to her room and started packing things to leave in a hurry.
"What are you doing? Shouldn't we call the police? What about mom?" Wilma asked scaredly.
"Mom won't believe us! And we'll probably be taken to a juvenile correctional facility. You want that? Then let's go!" Robynn gave her backpack.
"And where will we go?" Wilma asked worriedly.
"We'll go find dad! No matter how long it takes...I'm not staying here. Let's go" Robynn ordered. Out of loyalty and fear, Wilma decided to follow her older sister, leaving Lian's body behind. Both girls quickly left the house and tried not to be seen or anything like that. They began their journey to find a new place to live. And especially, to find their father.
They spent several days on the streets until they arrived at Big Bubble City. The first thing they had to do was find a living. Robynn was thinking of stealing to live, but Wilma convinced her to do things right even if it was difficult. Robynn decided to listen to her and began to look for odd jobs as a messenger, delivery person, cleaning restaurants, grocery stores, anything. Thanks to those jobs, they were able to eat. Both thought of renting a very small and cheap apartment while they continued investigating the whereabouts of their father. No one accepted them as tenants because they were minors. There was only one elderly lady who let them stay in one of her apartments out of compassion. The apartment was made for only one person and was old and a little neglected. But it was the only thing they could afford.
"I know it's not the best but we can survive here for a while" Robynn said quietly.
"I see that. We are not in a position to demand luxuries...(sigh) I would like to be able to study" Wilma said sadly.
"Hey, don't give it up. I assure you that you will study! Just let me find a way to get money. We will get through this together" Robynn said confidently.
"I found this ad on the street. BubbleTucky High School is looking for soccer players for the team. They say they have a scholarship. You should apply!" Wilma proposed happily.
"I don't think so. It's for students, I won't be eligible" Robynn denied.
"You have nothing to lose by trying" She winked at her.
"Hmmm heh….Okay, I'll try. Even if it's just to show those girls how to really play soccer" Robynn smirked. A few days later, she decided to go to the park where they were having soccer practice. Robynn signed up and went through physical tests from warm-ups to a practice game. After that, the coach called her with interest.
"Wow, girl... You're amazing. You have huge potential. You'll be a key asset to our team. What's your name?" The coach asked her.
"Robynn….Robynn Stone"
"I want you on the team. I think you deserve the scholarship" The coach said with a smile.
"Huh…well…mister…..I'm not a student…." She admitted.
"You are not in any school...And your parents?" The coach asked her. She decided to not answer him "Oh….personal topic? My bad. Well, let's do this. I can enroll you in BubbleTucky High School on a scholarship. What do you say?" The coach proposed to her.
"R-Really?"
"Of course! Your talent should be explored in the best way. Leave the money and the processes to me. Your future will be bright if you continue like this" The coach told her.
"The coach is right. You will be a great addition to the team. I'm Suzanne, a pleasure" A crab teen girl introduced herself. She was a sporty girl but with a bit of a gothic style. And yet, she sounded friendly.
"Robynn….A pleasure too…" Robynn and Suzanne shaked her hands.
"Alright. Welcome to the team, Robynn!" The coach said happily.
"I bet you'll be a good teammate. Our team isn't going through a good streak. But I'm confident we'll improve soon" Suzanne expressed.
"Don't worry. I'm sure I'll help you more than you think" Robynn smirked a bit.
It seems that luck has changed for the Stone sisters. Thanks to the sports scholarship, Robynn was finally able to enroll in BubbleTucky High School. And with the money, she was also able to enroll Wilma in another school. Robynn began to grow in the team to the point that she was named team captain. They managed to lift some trophies and awards thanks to Robynn's leadership. However, do we know what methods she used? She only admitted those girls to her team who seemed to be capable of being good players. In order to exert control, she began to force some to do what she wanted. For example, she made them leave certain relationships that would "distract" them from the team's goals. She managed to manipulate all of them to her convenience. Among them, Suzanne. She began to get fed up with the good girl and became more despotic. Only when she turned bad could she leave the oppression of her old family. These things she did behind Wilma's back. In the case of the younger sister, Wilma managed to win a scholarship to college in a program similar to the one Nonny won, but it would be for a different university. It is known that she was smarter than her sister. But Robynn had other strengths.
Their dreams were almost ruined due to an unexpected event. A new girl joined the soccer team: Zooli Brook! This girl was not like the others. Although she was initially a victim of manipulation, Zooli quickly found out and took action. These actions ended with the girls kicking her off the soccer team, including Suzzane who got fed up with her mistreatment. Luckily, thanks to the scholarship, she was still able to join a team and she went to the CoralReefy City team. By that time, Wilma left for college, leaving her alone. That was the last thing that made Robynn succumb further to darkness. She tried to use the same technique she did on her last team. But thanks to Zooli and her old friend Felicia, Robynn fell for the second time. This time, she lost her scholarship and was afraid that she could no longer help her sister. Of course, until he met Jane Cadaverini... And the rest is history.
Back to the Present
"...Those Bubble Guppies set me up. They accused me of being an accomplice to the Battle in BubbleTucky . Zooli...Grrrrr...They conspired against me and that's why I ended up in prison" Robynn finished with her tale.
"It's a complete tragedy...I almost shed a tear" Harris admitted. He was pretending, because he knew Robynn was lying to her sister and that suited him. That's why he played along.
"Basically, that was our story...And...God, I never thought the Bubble Guppies would do that to you. Especially that Zooli...But Goby is my friend. He even saved my life...I don't understand it" Wilma commented.
"Appearances can be deceiving, fella. Bubble Fools are truly dangerous subjects. I'm planning to expose the truth and that's why I need both of you" Harris explained to them.
"I'm not sure about this, sister" Wilma said.
"Trust me, Wilma. I've never let you down. In fact, why don't you go take a shower and get some rest? I need to talk to Harris alone" Robynn asked her.
"(sigh) You're right….See you" Wilma left them alone. The two made sure Wilma left so they could talk.
"I can't believe you lied to your own sister...You're evil...And I love it" Harris said.
"I don't like that, really. But if I want to get revenge on Zooli, her stupid Urchin and her stupid friends... I'll do whatever it takes" Robynn admitted.
"And that's what we're planning, isn't it? We'll get revenge on the Bubble Guppies and more. I told you before, I'm not like Jane. I have a bigger ambition" Harris smirked.
"I understand that from you. May I know what this is about?" Robynn asked her.
"Don't be hasty, darling. You are one of my favorites, but I don't like to take preference over my other subordinates. I'll tell you about it later. However, just one more thing: In the story you told me, I couldn't help but think that you lied in a small part" The New Cadaverini asked her.
"What are you talking about? Besides the Bubble Guppies, I didn't lie about anything else" The dark-skinned guppy asked him.
"What about Lian's death? Did that fall kill him, yes or no? Why did I notice a certain doubt in you? Is he dead or not?" Harris asked her. She remained silent and even trembled a little. She decided to speak.
"When Wilma left for college earlier than usual...I learned on my own that Lian survived the fall. But the fall damaged his nervous system and he was left in a vegetative state. He couldn't move or speak. So, years after the incident, I visited him in the hospital. I said, "Do you remember me? Do you remember my sister? Do you regret anything now?" He could only look at me. He was still conscious...I had a desire for revenge and I...I..." Robynn clenched her fists.
"Yeah…..and?" Harris smiled a bit.
"I...I could have simply taken him off life support and let him die...But it would have been too quick...So I took some substance and put it in his IV drip...Giving him a slow, agonizing death. I escaped, covered my tracks, and in the end they ruled the death as medical negligence and malpractice" Robynn confessed.
"One last question: Do you regret that?" The black-haired guppy asked her.
"...No…I don't…..Why did you want to know that?" Robynn asked rudely.
"That's exactly what I wanted to hear. You're tough and sadistic. And most importantly: You're strong and you have the willpower to do what's necessary. So, welcome back to the Sinister Guppies, baby" Harris explained.
"And what do you have planned for my sister?" Robynn asked him.
"Hehehe….Great question…..She's going to be our new spy. Just like Urchin spied on the guppies for us, Wilma can take advantage of her position as Goby's friend" Harris explained.
"Mmm, I understand. That will be beneficial" Robynn analyzed.
"However, you will be the one in charge of watching over your own little sister. We don't want her to have a spark of kindness and do to us the same thing that Urchin or "The Seer" did. You must know what will happen to traitors" Harris said in a menacing but discreet manner. Robynn worried about her sister for a second, but her desire for revenge was greater.
"Don't worry about it...I know how to keep her at bay. I always knew how to do it" Robynn said calmly.
"Perfect! Now, why don't we celebrate your release? Let's enjoy the pool, a drink and escape the city tomorrow...I have my methods so that no one notices that you left this city" Harris said with a relaxed tone. He knew something. He had recovered Robynn, one of the original Sinister Guppies. He had also added Wilma to his ranks. He knew that he had to get Gregory and Scarlet out of prison. With every action he took, he made progress on his long-awaited master plan.
Wow, I didn't expect this chapter to be very long. But I think it was necessary to tell the past of one of our antagonists to continue the construction of this arc.
As you know, leave your reviews here and I will respond immediately to the reviews of the previous chapter.
PrimroseRaspberry: Last episode was very emotional. From Deema facing her trauma and relying on Goby and Oona to get through it. Knock Knock will be a fun addition to the Imani family. And wow...That ending was romantic and even hot. They are definitely louder than the previous couple (wink) And it seems like The Seer still has a mission in mind...Or maybe more.
With this I end the chapter. I should say goodbye, but someone asked me to leave a message. I'm leaving and I'll let them talk to you.
"Hello! Sorry if we are interrupting you, but we want to give you some news"
"Hi! Im Nonny and shes my fiancee Oona. Although you already know who we are, I didn't want to be rude"
Oona: We just want to invite you to the most important event of our lives. We want it to be a small event, but we want to invite you to our wedding.
Nonny: First Molly and Gil, then Goby and Deema...It's our time. I hope you look forward to it.
Oona: Witness the beginning of our new stage of life in...
Bubble Guppies Adult Years
The Ballad of Flowers and Lovers
Both: See you soon!
