Chapter 31: Vacation in Ancient Lands
It's always a beautiful thing to start our adventures alongside a very special person. And our main couple knows it very well. After going through many experiences (both good and bad), they were finally able to seal their union officially in a solemn ceremony that we were able to enjoy. And this is just the beginning of a long love story. Oona and Nonny will finally use the prize they won in the Martial Arts Tournament to enjoy an all-expenses-paid trip to Japan. The couple used the prize for their honeymoon. And let me tell you what, we're going to see how they enjoy this time together.

Our story begins when our couple arrives from Narita International Airport. Oona and Nonny finally arrived in Japan, where they would take advantage of their honeymoon. According to the information in the award, they had a reservation for a hotel far from the central city of Tokyo, an area where there were mountains, forests and a nearby village that still preserved an ancient traditional design where they could go to visit tourist spots. In fact, they were received by an old woman and taken to her room, where they had to share a futon. Although this one was different, larger and with a bigger mattress. In addition, the woman gave them a new outfit: Two kimonos for when they wanted to visit the village. She decided to leave them alone to change.

"Sounds like a good idea" Nonny commented before leaving some things in the room and finally the couple decided to leave the hotel room to go out and explore at their own will.
The couple decided to walk along some trails near the village to see the natural beauty of the area. Thanks to their knowledge of the Japanese language, they did not get lost with the directions of the managers or the directions on the written signs. They were both aware that they were going to walk a lot because the trails were mountainous and long. So they prepared for the walk with shoes, hiking clothes, water and a small emergency kit (Nonny is always cautious about everything). Of course, they were able to see some animals at safe distances such as different species of birds and some small animals such as a fox or a raccoon dog known as a tanuki that hid in the trees. They were not disappointed on this trip. In addition, neither of them talked much, they both enjoyed the silence, just the sounds of nature. It is impressive how they did not need to talk to each other to know that they felt comfortable together on this trip. Gestures such as holding hands, shy smiles and some giggles were enough. They also took photos of the trails, flora and fauna of the area. They spent a lot of time on this trail and then arrived at the hotel to eat. That was when they decided to go back to the room to change their clothes.
"Come on, Nonny. The fireworks festival is starting soon and I want us to be there" Oona said excitedly.
"That sounds interest- Oh!" Nonny got nervous when he accidentally saw Oona changing clothes in front of him.
"Oh! I'm sorry, Nonny. I thought since we're already married I didn't think it would be a problem to change in front of you" Oona blushed a bit.
"Nono...Don't worry. My bad" Nonny apologized and turned his back on her so he wouldn't see her. Oona also turned her back so they could both change clothes without seeing each other directly. Although it sounded tempting for both of them to see each other, shyness got the better of them. Finally, they both changed clothes.
"Can we see each other again now?" Oona asked before she turned back.
"Y-Yeah" Nonny said and they both turned to look at each other and marveled at each other. Oona wore a beautiful purple kimono with pink stars. While Nonny wore another dark green kimono with vertical stripes of lighter green.
"Wow…..You look great in that color" Oona flattered him.
"Y-Yeah…Th-Thanks…You also look very pretty in that kimono" Nonny said nervously.
"Hehe….Arigatō" She said playfully with a bow. She walked over to him and took his hand "Come on" He said before leading her by the hand excitedly towards the festival. Nonny followed the excited girl's lead.
The couple decided to visit the traditional village near the hotel. Everyone was wearing kimonos, locals and visitors alike. There were many stalls selling traditional games, food stalls and some entertainment. The place was well lit with lights of various colors. Oona held Nonny's hand throughout the tour. They were both walking around the town looking for interesting things. In fact, they found a game stand where Oona saw something that interested her.
"Ohhh look, Nonny! A big stuffed bear! I know I'm too old to have stuffed animals but I would like one like that!" Oona said very excitedly.
"Well, I don't feel like it's wrong that you want a stuffed animal" They both approached the stand where they have the big teddy bear "Excuse me, sir. But how much does that giant teddy bear cost?" Nonny asked.
"Gomen'nasai, shinshi. Tadashi, kono gēmu de kō tokuten o kakutoku shita baai ni nomi, sono nuigurumi o kakutoku dekimasu" The man at the stall answered him.
"Hmmm So we must get a high score in his game" Oona deduced it.
"I'll take care of it" Nonny came over and decided to pay for a few tries at the fair game. It was a traditional game where you had to catch plastic fish with a toy fishing rod. Nonny knew there was a trick to it, so the first two tries were just to learn the mechanics of the game, which was to try to catch as many fish as possible within a time limit. Depending on the size of the plastic fish, that was your score. After those two turns that weren't very successful, Nonny used his ingenuity to make the third try a success. And after a few failures and very lucky catches, the boy with blue glasses managed to accomplish his goal: the score needed to claim the bear as a prize.
"Omedetōgozaimasu, shinshi. Shōhin o uketorimashou" The man said before giving the prize to Nonny. And he gave the stuffed animal to his wife.
"Awww Nonny! You won it for me!" Oona said happily "I think you deserve an award" She kissed his cheek and he blushed a lot.
"Your happiness is enough reward for me" Nonny admitted with a blush on his face. They both decided to wander around the rest of the fair. They enjoyed some other fair games for fun. They also went to eat at some of the food stalls. They enjoyed a theater show, where they were able to see an adaptation of the legend of Princess Kaguya of the moon. They were also able to see martial arts and sumo displays. They also visited a beautiful pond full of koi fish. And to finish off the festival, they both looked for the perfect place to enjoy the fireworks show.
"(sigh) This is so perfect" Oona said in a loving tone as she leaned on her beloved husband's shoulder.
"This vacation is really worth it. Just you and me, without the back-breaking jobs or crazy situations. Just you and me...as husband and wife" Nonny commented kindly.
"Can I ask you something? Are you really happy about our wedding or our honeymoon? You haven't talked much" Oona asked him curiously.
"I don't need many words to show that being with you fills me with happiness. Sometimes I just want to be by your side, enjoying the details of life. And I appreciate that a lot. I really enjoy what we are living now. I even felt nervous before the ceremony. I just can't express it with words... Well, there is no other place I want to be right now. With you, I feel that everything is perfect and easier" Nonny smiled at her. Oona felt very happy seeing him smile. She knows that he doesn't usually show it like that, and when he does, it's always a sincere smile. They both decided to continue watching the fireworks show.
"You're amazing...Didn't I tell you before?"
After the couple enjoyed the fireworks show, they both decided to go back to the hotel and decided to take advantage of a benefit that was included in the hotel: a hot spring bath in an onsen (a natural hot spring bath). They called the hotel manager who gave them access to a kashikiri, which was a private outdoor natural hot spring bath. She gave them proper instructions for its use. However, there was one particular instruction that puzzled them both.
'W-W-WHAT?!" Oona and Nonny were shocked.
"Don't tell me you didn't know. I expected it from the western guy, but not from the eastern girl...Hehehe" The old lady chuckled.
"Let me see if I understand... Can we only use the onsen... without clothes?" Nonny asked with embarrassment.
"It's part of protocol, dear. Besides, you're married. It shouldn't be a problem, right? Hohoho! I'll leave you two alone with your towels. Enjoy your bath" The old lady left them alone. Both could only see each other with their faces red due to the norm.
"Hmmm uhhhh….Oona…..Did you know anything about this?" Nonny asked nervously.
"I don't know all the traditions..." Oona answered with her red face.
"Well, if you feel uncomfortable, we don't have to. We can take turns" The ginger-haired guppy proposed.
"Well, I promised you an experience that would be in keeping with my traditions... So... we can bathe together... Besides, I trust you" Oona said with a completely red face. What they decided to do was to turn their backs to each other and start to undress completely without looking at each other. Finally, they were both completely naked and no one could see each other.
"Oona….You enter first" Nonny said so that his wife could enter the onsen without him seeing. Oona made sure that the water covered her chest to cover herself completely.
"Come here" Oona said nervously without seeing him directly. Nonny walked in close to her, making sure the water covered him from the waist down. Thanks to the mineral water and natural ingredients, they couldn't see each other very well. Finally, they both saw each other face to face. Even though they didn't have any clothes on, the water was a good option to cover themselves.
"Ehhh…Hmmm…Hehehe….The water feels relaxing, doesn't it?" Oona tried to be confident with her husband near her.
"Yes, it is warm and will help the skin" Nonny tried to say his clever comment to lighten the moment. This was the closest they had gotten to intimacy. The warm water was physically relaxing. The natural night view was beautiful. And the best part? They both had each other's company and felt better knowing they were alone. "Not a word of this to the boys" Nonny said with a blush.
"Not even the girls" Oona added and both of them chuckled. It seems that both of them lost their shame and were able to enjoy their moment of relaxation and mutual company. It would be a unique experience that neither of them would forget. And they would end up liking it more than they expected.

"This is very romantic of you, Nonny. You are definitely quite the gentleman" She climbed onto the bed and decided to get on top of her beloved husband. This surprised the guy, but he didn't seem to mind. They exchanged a few shy kisses and it seems that something surprising happened "Hmmm Nonny…"
"Huh? Yes?" He asked curiously. Oona had her cheeks pink before making her move. She opened her kimono slightly to reveal something provocative.
"I-I-I-I I have nothing under the kimono" She said, trying to be sensual for her husband. Nonny blushed hard and almost bled from her nose.
"O-O-O-O-Oona?! Do you really want...that?" Nonny asked, extremely blushed.
"I must admit that...when we saw each other at the onsen...I was curious and had desire...Hmmmm...Let's just say that you look very attractive...Also, I love you...And this last point is reason enough to wish this with you" Oona admitted with shyness, but she showed she really wanted this special time. She moved closer to his lips, and Nonny stopped her in time.
"W-Wait…." Nonny stopped her.
"Did I do something wrong? I'm sorry if you still don't want to" She was going to enter in panic until he calmed her.
"It's not that...I know you want to do it, and so do I...It's just that...Ahem...I'll be right back" Nonny got up from the bed, leaving Oona with a few seconds of uncertainty. She was thinking about many things until she saw the boy with blue glasses bring in a bag. Nonny nervously took out the contents of the bag with a bright red in his cheeks.

"Y-Yeah…..pr-protection…..If we want to do it, we must do it safely" Nonny said confidently, at least, trying.

"Actually…." Nonny intervened with a funny memory
Flashback. At the airport before the trip
"Congratulations, Nonny! Enjoy your honeymoon!" Urchin said.
"Have fun" Goby added. The guppies and Oona and Nonny's families had wanted to say goodbye to them before their honeymoon trip. At that moment, Gil approaches Nonny.
"I hope you enjoy your time with your now wife" Gil said.
"Many thanks, Gil" Nonny said with his quiet tone of voice.
"Oh! By the way, here's this. You're going to need it" Gil handed Nonny a bag. The boy took one look at the contents and turned very red.
"G-G-Gil?!" Nonny blushed a lot.
"It's my way of thanking you for our "chat." Have fun, Mr. Cautious" Gil smirked. Nonny just hid the bag in this suitcase.
"Something happened?" Oona asked him.
"N-Nothing….Let's find the plane"
Back to the present
"Owww! So it was he who gave it to you? Ohh!" Oona blushed a lot.
"Well, it's not bad after all. It's good to "do it" with protection. Unless you've already regretted it, we can stop whenever you want" Nonny said calmly.
Hmmmm it would be bad to waste them, don't you think?" Oona gave him a sensual smile. Nonny gulped "Come here, my lover boy"
Nonny decided to fulfill his wife's wishes (and also his own, which he himself hid a lot). They both decided to start with soft kisses and tender caresses. The couple took advantage of the night to explore each other. Oona showed part of her nature when she decided to take off her pigtails to have her hair down for her husband, something that Nonny liked. The boy was able to take off his glasses, revealing his beautiful eyes, charming his wife. They both did what the other wanted thanks to their communication and body language. There were moments when they let themselves be carried away by desire, but both had chosen to do it slowly and delicately, as it was the first experience for both. "Well, not long ago I was able to afford surgery to improve my eyesight. That's why you see I no longer wear those huge glasses I used to wear. Now I only wear small reading glasses...although I still wear them all the time out of habit" Nonny confessed.
"You never told me" She caressed his face.
"I didn't tell anyone. I thought it was obvious...Hey, you look beautiful with your hair down" Nonny admired her hair.
"Really? I don't usually show it. Maybe you're the first person to see me like this out of confidence. And tell me, what do you think is sexier? Loose hair or pigtails?" Oona asked him with certain fun in her voice.
"I like you just the way I met you, with your iconic pigtails. Although, no matter your style, I always consider you "sexy"...Wow, that's a strange word...I don't usually use it in my vocabulary" Nonny commented.
"Well, it's usually used to heat things up, isn't it? My sexy boy" Oona flirted a bit.
"Can we stop saying that word...It's strange" He said quietly, although it was a joke from him too.
"I'm just playing with you..." Oona admitted.
"Deema is a bad influence on you" Nonny said.
"Maybe...Although, thanks for this...It was a very special moment for me" Oona blushed a bit.
"Thank you for trusting me. What we did was magical...and it's just a small sample of how much I love you" Nonny touched her cheek.
"We still have a life ahead of us to show each other how much we love each other, right?" Oona smiled at him.
"Until death do us part…." Nonny finished the sentence before giving her a kiss on the lips. They both ended their special night with that kiss.

The couple finally fell asleep and were able to enjoy their first night together. However, there was one small detail. Nonny noticed that his wrists were marked with that green color that he knew well. He took a deep breath and the veins returned to their normal color.

We're going to a state prison where many people committed crimes on Japanese territory. However, we only care about one guppy man we know a little bit about. This man was locked up, but a prison guard came to escort him.
"Are you Yamato Shaskan?"
"It's me" He answered.
"We'll take you to the exit. Someone paid your bail" The guard told him before escorting him with other guards and leaving him free outside the facility. Yamato didn't know what to do. They didn't give him any information about who paid for his freedom. He simply decided to walk alone along the highway before a black van arrived and surprised him. They covered his head with a bag and kidnapped him. He didn't know what was happening and panicked until they knocked him out. After many minutes of uncertainty, they removed the bag from his head and woke him up with a bucket of cold water. Yamato woke up abruptly and discovered that he was tied to a chair.
"You finally wake up, Yamato" A Japanese snail man appeared in a black suit and tie, escorted by many bodyguards.
"Oh! ! Long time no see! It's a joy to finally see you" Yamato tried to pretend to be happy.
"It's a shame I can't say the same about you. You were arrested just when you were supposed to pay me, weren't you?" Mr. Takashi said coldly. He literally looked like a high-ranking member of a dangerous Yakuza gang.
"Yeah, I know. Look, my plan with Azami didn't go as expected. But hey! Give me some more time and I'll pay you back!" He said nervously.
"That's what you said last time. And nobody plays me the same game twice. Plus, your debt has increased. That "bail payment" wasn't free. So tell me...do you have the money?" Mr. Takashi asked him.
"Look, I don't have it now. But if you give me a fair deadline, I'll pay it all!" Yamato tried to convince him.
"(sigh) Same old story...Sasaki, come here!" The Yakuza boss called him. Surprisingly, Master Sasaki appeared escorted by four young guys dressed as modern ninjas.
"You don't have to order me, boss. Shinigami, do it" Sasaki ordered. The one who appears to be the head of the ninjas took out a sword and prepared for an execution, decapitating Yamato.
"No! Nononono! Please! PLEASE! NO! Give me a chance! THE LAST ONE! I'll pay you every last dollar! Just let me live and I'll pay!" Yamato begged loudly. Shinigami the ninja was going to cut off his head until Mr. Takashi made a gesture to stop. The ninja bowed and stopped.
"Fine...Just because "I like you." But this is your last chance. I'll give you three months to pay me back in full" The Yakuza boss said.
"Only three months! I need more than that" Oona's father asked.
"Do you prefer your head to roll here and now?" Mr. Takashi asked. Yamato just gulped "That's what I thought. Three months or your head will roll...Or think something much worse. Get out of here"
"How do you think I'll pay you back?" He asked.
"That's your business. Go before I change my mind" He said that before another guy covered Yamato's head with a bag. Without much context, Yamato woke up in a dumpster... but alive.
"Ughh! Ughhh! How will I get out of this?" Yamato asked himself before fate did its thing. He discovered a newspaper and before throwing it away he noticed something that interested him.
"Professor and University Student Prodigy will receive multimillion-dollar investments for his university research. His project aims to revolutionize paleontology in a masterful way"
"Wait a minute, I know that guy! It's...Nonny! He's my daughter, Oona's boyfriend...This could save my life...(sigh) Time to get back to BubbleTucky!" Yamato said determinedly to carry out his plan to save his life from the infamous Mr. Takashi.
