In the present, when Hellboy, Marie, and Abe are assigned to investigate the ghost-infested mansion of a publicity-hound billionaire, they discover someone is trying to bring her back. During their time at the mansion, they face a horde of ghosts, a phantom wolf pack, harpies, and Erzsebet.
