Hello all! Thank you for your patience it took me so long to complete this. As you may have figured out it was a ted and Harry chapter. And I have never talked to a lawyer so my first couple drafts kind of just been tossed as it sounded... stiff and just not what I'm looking for. And then I'm just like screw it i made a espresso and popped a red bull and just went for it and that's what we got it here. I know its not realistic but i want to get to Hogwarts with getting everything laid out so i'm gonna have to just push it out and hope that you all don't hate it.

I got willy's personality down pact thanks to this as well, if anyone watched delicious in dungeon you might understand who i modeled it off of. though i'm a bit at a loss with Meany and Betsy. But we will find those out later. I think Hermione and Parents and Greengrass fun will be what comes next to give you all a heads up with my plan.

As always i run off caffein and attention and your attention is free so please send those reviews and insights I do respond so if you want to have a small conversation please do. Hope you enjoy ill hopefully get my next chapter out quicker but we have finals coming up shortly.

Ted Tonks

Thank you for replying and as much as it is me, i appreciate your concerns over if i'm the real lord Potter or not. I will be by today, with my house ring to prove I am who I am. It has come to my attention that there is a second but equally as important matter that will take precedence over the first, regarding a muggle born friend of mine. I will explain when I get there but I'm warning you now, what might get brought up.

It took Harry a lot longer than he thought it would to figure out the wording of the letter. He figured it was too early for any death eaters to be around snooping and causing problems but there were the big families to worry about still. The ones with money, and power that if they heard that a lord potter was talking to lawyers, they might start something he wasn't ready for. So Harry had to keep it vague, and mysterious just to be safe. And in doing so he had to rewrite it. He couldn't just come out and say that Sirius black was innocent, and that his best friend and technically wife needed to be free from her muggle parents.

If that got out in writing it would be a giant headache that they have no idea on how to try to fix. So figuring out how to give Ted Tonks enough warning without actually giving him a warning was hard to do. And his hand started to cramp up again as his hand was no longer used to writing feet's of parchments. It was a bigger problem for Harry than he ever thought it would be. "Words." He ended up muttering as he wrote.

He was glad but also frustrated that he sent his Grandfather away figuring he would have to be able to get him back up here at least for lessons, as he has no idea on how to write formally, just scholarly and not that well to start with.

Sealing the letter he called for Meany to bring the owl to send it on his way back to the Tonk's.

"How was our guest while I wrote the letter?" He asked, noticing that the owl seemed a lot more content but still on top of Meany's head.

"Fed and water ready for flightsy." Meany said, and the owl gave out a chirp in confirmation. Harry smiled at that and motioned for them to move forward. Though Meany walked up to him as the owl didn't make a move until he was next to Harry and extended the leg for the letter to be attached.

"Now let Tonk's know you were the perfect gentleman and you deserve even more treats. I'll be by soon, maybe with my wife so she can appreciate you properly you hear." He said smiling to the bird who nipped at him in excitement. He nodded to the elf as they moved away.

"Willy?" Harry called out into the room as the elf and bird left. It only took a few moments longer than what he expected for a pop to sound off and Willy appeared. "You mentioned I might be hurt earlier. I shouldn't put it off anymore so let's check."

Willy seemed happy but reserved. "I can do my best Master Harry, but would it not be better to go to your own kind to get healed up properly?" He asked.

"Probably but I can't have it known that Harry Potter knows of the magical world too early and that he is hurt. The media among everything else could be a problem." Willy nodded at that explanation.

"Meets me down in the potions room, in a few moments I'll have everything ready." Willy said to him and disappeared.

Harry was left alone again.

"So much has happened in such a few days." He said to himself as he leaned back in the chair. He started to rub at the potter family ring in thought. But got distracted by the black stone on his other ring.

"Dad?" He called out. It took a moment but his fathers specter or ghost came into the room.

"Hey son." He said standing across from the desk.

He seemed exhausted though, can dead people be exhausted. "I need to know more about some people before I do any actions moving forward, I figured you the person who lived with them would be best to ask." Harry said, motioning for his father to sit.

He stayed standing though. "Who's who's now. " His father said with a small chuckle.

Harry didn't pay attention to it though as he was still tired and too occupied to think of other things from Hermione, Black and what to do. "Tell me more about Malfoy, please."

"Lacky all the way, not much of a fighter but he knows how to talk, and spend money to get his way though. He's a snake through and through. He may be a full blown believer who was never too fond of your mother or the other muggle born students, always treated them like shit."

Harry Nodded at his fathers words. "Anything I can use against him?" Harry asked. "He's going to be Voldemort's right hand man, at least he was last time."

James let out a sigh. "That is not how we fought last time, but sadly no. He kept enough galleons in the pockets of all the right people. We had raided his house and properties but knew beforehand even when it was the Order doing it." Harry's eyebrow rose at that.

"You did raids?" Harry asked.

"We needed evidence. And it was frustrating seeing the aurors not able to get it done. We all. Well most of us thought Snape was giving out information. Though in the end it seems it was Wormtail."

"A pretty telling name though." Harry said with a slight smile.

James nodded at that. "Though with Black around we couldn't really go off that idea."

"Fair." Harry conceded. "Speaking about Snape." Harry remembered his time practicing mind shielding with the man back in fifth or six-year. "Why did you bully him so much? I get it in your sixth-ish year he called mom that horrible name. But from what I saw you were a dick to him for a long time."

His father let out a very long sigh and sat down. "I'm not this amazing man you may think of me as. Black and Moony were more moral but I can get Black to do a lot of things and I did. He always followed me." He paused to think. "I was a good student, though pressured as a son to be better than I was. Snape was an easy target to let off steam. And honestly until that day in sixth year he didn't deserve any of it." James admitted.

"Did you talk to him when he died?" Harry asked. James shook his head no. "I'll tell mom sooner than later. But he's sorry about that. He always had mom's safety in mind. So for the next seven or so years I'm going to trust him. Once I can get him to stop hating me because of you."

James flinched at that. "I've seen you deal with many different problems the last almost two dozen years. Ever since we really died. I've watched you. If anyone can get Snape on their side, it's you and that girl of yours." Harry smiled at that actually.

"If you were in my position what would you do?" Harry asked.

"Id take Lilly and run. Find a paradise and live a hopefully long happy life. But Lilly would do what you and Hermione are doing. She would try to save any and all the people she could save." James said and looked at his son. "She's wanting to talk to you."

Harry let out a sigh this time. "I've been thinking about what to say to her. But I'm not ready yet. I will be soon. But I need to help Hermione with her parents first. Let her know, she will have a long conversation within the week." Harry said to his father standing up. But first I need to get ready for the day, and that means talking to Willy and showering for the day.

"We are in Sirius's old room if you want to come to us to talk." James said, still seated as Harry moved to go to his shower then meet with Willy.

It took him an hour to get downstairs to Willy. He didn't think that a hot shower would mess with his mind so much. He had hot showers when traveling with Hermione across the country. But the brutal battle of Hogwarts felt like days actually thinking back on it more so a week, not just one night. And the Hot water and the convenience of a fully functioning bathroom was distracting.

But he trusted Willy to distract himself while it took Harry so long. And when Harry reached the potions lab he was met by Willy doing just that. He was popping between three working cauldrons and around the shelves for some ingredients. It was a bit mesmerizing to watch though. It took Willy only moments to spot his master and ended up puting what Harry assumed to be stasis charms on the bubbling cauldrons.

"Master Harry sir, are you ready?"

Harry chuckled. "I think you're the first one to ask that before you tell me something that will change everything I think is correct." Harry said with amusement. "But yes I am, what do you need me to do?" Harry asked.

Willy motioned him to a corner that had some runic circles drawn on the floor. "Without a wand. House Elvs must use other conventional magics like the goblins and their smelty magic." Willy said, popping next to the circle he wanted Harry in.

"It's kind of stupid what my kind has done." Harry said to the small creature as he moved in the middle of it.

"I's can not speaks of this." Willy said hastily, causing his S's to be more pronounced.

"What do I do while in the Circle?" Harry asked.

For his answer Willy only snapped like lots of house elves do when doing magic. It caused the runic circle to glow and a light blue hue started to encircle him. Harry just shut up and let his house elf figure out what he needs to do.

His answer came about five minutes in, as more runes and what looked like glyphs started to appear around him.

"Not good, not good." Willy started to mutter as he started to look at them. "Whats creatures… Yous a young one. Whys." Willy kept muttering as he looked at everything that was being shown to him. Though Harry never took classes for these things so he continued to stand.

"Yours." He paused and literally breathed deeply a few times. "You are broken physically. Severely malnourished. Incorrectly healed bones, specifically." He paused again, shaking. "Three ribs, partial skull, right humerus and ulna. Its appears yours magic healed the best it could with little informations. I's will make potions that you must take with every meal for malnourishment. It's severe so its will takes a while. The bones you have to sees your own kinds. I don't knows your bones well." Willy said as he moved to the cauldrons and just vanished them Harry could see as the steam that was coming out vanished.

"Wait, that's it?" He asked, almost shocked.

"That's it?" Willy asked back, his eyes going wide with shock. "Is there's supposed to be more young lordsy? YOUNGS LORDSY." He stopped himself and it looked like he was about to hit his head against the cauldron but did not.

"Young lords should be cared for, not what happened to you. I will fix this." Willy said in an even voice, after he got control of his emotions. It was clear to Harry that his state had affected the old elf.

"Potions for growth will be given at every meal. You wills not miss any food, teas, or snacks. The others will helps. Ladies will be tolds to force you if needs bes. Lady Lilly had to forces old masters a few times too's." It was clear to Harry that with Willy's constant S sounds on words that Willy was focusing too much on his control of emotions rather than his words.

Though Harry was a bit conflicted he was happy to see someone else upset about him. His last life Dumbledor only seemed to care if he was alive or not. Which made sense to him as soon as he found out about that prophecy. Oh another way to mess with the old snake face.

"I will do what you think is best Willy. If possible can those potions taste good?" Harry asked, forcing himself out of thoughts of the future he needed to focus on now for today.

"Thata is what ours good cookings is for. To wash downs any bads potion taste." Willy said without turning back as he cleaned the cauldrons for their next use by hand. Vanishing spells may get the previous stuff out but doesn't reset the cauldron for its next use.

"I'll probably be out for lunch, will this potion be ready by then?" Harry asked.

"Yes, Meany will bring it to you when you are ready, just call." Willy responded.

Harry went back up the stairs after that. It's a bit worrisome he lived with bones out of place, but thinking upon some of the beatings that his Uncle gave him he wasn't too surprised that magic by itself couldn't heal him fully.

He went back upstairs to change into some of his new magical clothes that they got during their shopping trip. If he was gonna go out he at least should look better. Though his whole wardrobe is one hundred times better since the shopping they did. He also put that folder his father told him to get looked at. Before he left he called forth the raven that is connected between Hermione, him and death. And wrote Hermione a quick letter.

Hermione

Going to Ted Tonks shop to talk over Sirious, then you and parents, and then this file, that dad pointed out. Will you be able to pop out and join me? If you can't reply soon I'll assume not. Good luck with your parents.

I'll see you soon.

Harry

Harry didn't have to wait too long as the Raven reappeared within five minutes. Which is a bit crazy to think about. Last time only muggle phones were this quick in sending messages. Though Harry didn't send that many correspondences last time, just letters to and from his friends over the summer. And he always expected that to take a bit even though Hedwig was fast. Owls were just that, though he should have expected a Raven from death could do some weird things.

It was his own letter just with Hermione's writing on the back of it.

Harry

As much as I would love to go with and figure everything out I can't get away. Explaining to my mother where I was, she was in my room when I came home. Don't worry, I trust you to figure this out without our first plan.

Hermione

It caused a bit more panic than he first thought it would but Hermione didn't ask him to come, and said not to worry so he would have to trust that she can handle her parents. He took a few deep breaths to make his body calm down like his brain has.

"Meany." Harry called out, and the house elf popped in beside him. "Can you send me to a back alley that is close to where I had you deliver that letter?" Harry asked, not wanting to be spotted popping around like he was apparating.

Before Meany could though Betsy popped beside them with a plate in hand. "You can't leave's before foodsy." Harry sighed loudly but didn't try to complain or say no as his stomach did grumble. On the plate was a basic breakfast sandwich on toast and apple slices for him.

"Thank you Betsy, and tell Willy the same. I assume he's the one to inform you?" He said taking the plate from her and started to eat.

Betsy nodded as Harry ate. "And Lady said to make sure you eat yesterday."

Harry didn't have the heart nor cared to inform them that order was only meant for just yesterday. As Willy has shown him he needed food.

Five to ten minutes later he was transported to a back alley close to Ted's law firm, if Meany's description of the area is correct it is only a block down and on his right. Harry straightened his robes and started out. This area of the alley is pretty dead as it's still early in the morning and not many normal shops around. Though, Harry was able to spot the law firm from a fancy sign of a woman in robes blindfolded holding a scale.

A muggle concept but that kind of gave the place its own flare from others. Remembering most of the other stores were weird in style, compared to those this store is boring with a cool sign.

He straightened himself up and moved forward with the confidence of a gryffindor. Sirius, Hermione, and Greengrass. He thought as he got closer to the law office. He needs to make sure he doesn't get distracted. These situations needed to be solved before he gets to Hogwarts in about two months. He breathed in and out deeply before the door and nodding to himself he pulled open the door and strode in.

Harry wasn't sure what he expected. Weird outlines like the burrow, or weird designs on the wall like his own manor is like. But it was cream colored walls, with a wooden trim. And a big desk in the middle of the entrance area with a few doors behind it. But behind the desk instead of an older man it was a young woman, with pink hair. "Nym?"

The young woman was already looking up but when he said her name she had an annoyed look on her face. "Do I know you?" She asked, her skepticism thick on her voice.

"Sorry I guess you wouldn't, I am Harry Potter here at the request of Ted Tonks, your father." Harry explained. But Tonks only looked at him with even more skepticism.

"Please wait here." She said as she stood and walked to the far left door and made her way in. In a minute or two the door fully opened and Tonks stepped out. "You can go in, Lord Potter." She said in a voice that he's never heard her take. Reminded him of the tones the wizengamot took with him back when he was accused in fifth year.

Harry smiled but nodded, figuring talking to her now probably won't work well. The room was pretty much what he expected. Some pictures, both moving and non moving, same design as the entrance way and layout too. Except instead of doors it was windows and filing cabinets, and just like the entrance there was a desk with an older short and a bit wide man sitting behind it. Not wide like his uncle but just a man who loved food but didn't excess in it.

Ted Tonks stood up as Harry entered, wearing a dark blue muggle suit that made his wide stature more sturdy. "Ted Tonks, it's a pleasure to meet you in person so soon." Harry approached the man and when close enough he extended his hand out across the desk.

Ted took his hand and shook it firmly but not enough to hurt him. "The pleasure is mine. I can see James in you, and Lily too with your eyes." He motioned for him to sit down. "Though before we proceed I will need to see your house ring. You look like you should but I need to be sure before we continue. I hope you understand, Sir." Ted said. Even though he had skepticism he still spoke with respect and professionalism. Something that Harry wasn't used to in adults. Hell, even death kind of talked down to him.

"I understand." Harry said and held up his hand and as if he willed it his ring flashed red making the room feel calm and warmed up.

"That is the Potter's ring for sure. I've felt and seen the effects many times. It truly is a pleasure to see you grown up, may I call you Harry, or do you prefer Lord Potter?" Ted said from across the desk.

This caused Harry to smile. "You might be one of the few adults that actually treat me with respect. And please just Harry, we are family even if distantly related."

This caused Ted to smile genuinely. "Even in professional meetings?" He pressed the idea.

Harry understood what he was asking. "When surrounded by family we have no need for titles. Even if it's professional, I'd imagine. Though when with others and potential enemies titles should be said." Harry said back with a smile. "In that regard what title should I address to you?"

The shock on the man's face was brief but it showed in slightly raised eyebrows. "Law wizard. Can I assume that with this conversation you were raised with someone of slight importance to our government, so maybe Madame Bones?"

"Sadly no, I would have loved to have gone to anyone, even the Malfoys, but alas I was given to my mothers family, her sister specifically. But we can talk more about that later with the rest of the Tonks family in a more relaxed environment." Harry said, all this calculated talk was making his head hurt. He knew it was gonna happen but never imagined it would be so draining.

"I understand and will help with that but later, Mentioned that this meeting has something to do with our families?" He asked as he leaned forward putting his elbows on the desk and his chin on his hands showing that his full attention was given.

"Sirius Black." Harry said plainly wanting to see what Ted tonks reaction would be. It was more surprising than he figured.

Ted let out a low and long sigh but stayed attentive. "He is already being punished to the full degree of the law. If you're looking for revenge, Harry, you will have to wait till he gets kissed by a dementor or." Harry just lifted a hand in saying he wanted to interject.

Interrupting him might be more detrimental even if more efficient. Ted let his little speech die quickly as he saw Harry wanted to say something. "You misunderstand. The law, the people of Magical Britain has failed Sirius Black, and I'm looking to correct that failing."

This caused the composure of Ted to change drastically. His arms fell to the desk more in surprise than in anger that Harry thought he would have seen. His eyebrows have shot all the way to his forehead. His mouth was open too which made Harry chuckle.

"We failed HIM?" Ted asked eventually in shock. Harry just looked at him with slight amusement. "WE failed HIM?" He emphasized the question again this time using his hands while he talked.

"I expected anger." Harry mused out loud to the older man.

"Oh I'll get there. Do you know what you just said?" Ted asked his eyes, now looking at Harry in knitted agitation.

"Your brother in law or something, and my essentially uncle or uncle in law did not betray me or my family. And thus did not betray your family nor the rest of the wizarding world." Harry explained his position. But when Ted seemed like he came up with a comeback Harry continued to talk, not giving him a chance. "Did you enjoy his trial?" Harry asked the lawyer.

Ted stared at Harry, his face a bit more frozen of emotions but his eyes seemed to be holding all the emotions. They were darting around like a bush full of Lacewing flies.

"I was not his law wizard at his trial." Ted said slowly after a long while.

Harry smiled at that. "Not what I asked. I know you weren't. Do you know who?" Harry asked calmly.

Ted fell back in his chair leaning against it for full support. He looked like he was thinking so Harry let him sit for a while.

"Do you know?" Ted asked quietly a few minutes later. Though his voice seemed like he started to realize what Harry had been trying to get to.

"He didn't have one." He responded curtly.

"Why would he do that? He was a smart man." Ted asked back, still trying to work through his memories and emotions on the subject.
"I won't hold it against you. It was a terrible yet fantastic time. Youre friends and families were no longer in danger of dying. Yet some of those still did die for the cause of ending the war. No one wanted to think of the bad things that happened." Harry said to the adult. He already worked through this, both long ago and when he was figuring out what to say to this man. "He never got the chance to have a lawyer, he was sent straight to Azkaban."

The color from Teds complexion faded as he stared at Harry, understanding what this might mean.

"There were no news articles, no wizengamot documents, no DMLE file other than the arrest about this. I've dug into this for information about that night. But there isn't any closure with Sirius black." Harry said lying, but he couldn't just tell the man he had seen a version of the future.

"I'll, I'll need proof. I can work off your word but the gamot wont. Hell even if you are right they still might just keep him locked up." Ted said.

"That is why I'm coming to you. I want him out. I'm building my family and I need him. He is the closest person to my father and I won't lose that." More lies but Harry needed Ted to work hard and fast, so what if he had to fake pasion. He needed this man out of prison and in better fighting shape for when the war started. If it starts again.

"We will look into it, I do owe it to your father. And if youre right I owe it to you to put the right man or woman behind bars." Ted said to Harry.

"I'll pay whatever it takes to find the answers I'm looking for." Harry said to the man trying not to cringe as that sounded like it came from one of Dudleys old comic books.

"Something tells me if youre right, it won't be coming from your bank vaults." He said to Harry as he started to write something down on an actual leagle pad. "Nym!" He called for his daughter.

She came in a few moments after he called for her. "Look into this. Youll be in the bowels of the ministry for a while. Ill make sure to order pizza tonight, something tells me it's going to be a long day and night. And don't tell your mother what youre looking into until we find something out." He said as she approached.

She only nodded and took the note. It was very odd seeing her so serious. Even when he saw her during the order she was always messing around trying to get people to smile. He never saw her like this. "I really hope that was the biggest news you had for me." Ted said once his daughter was gone.

Harry couldn't help but to chuckle. "Are you proficient in muggle law?" Harry asked the older man.

Ted couldn't hold back the sight that came from the question asked. "Enough to still be able to practice in their courts."

"We were hoping that she would be able to attend this meeting as it pertains to her the most. But I have a friend that needs to get away from her parents."

"Oh my Merlin! Is she being abused?" Ted asked his attention snapping back to Harry.

"No. Thankfully not or I'd be hiding a body." Harry said, he leaned back and tried to explain it the best he could trying to keep to the facts without telling the man that they are time travelers.

"Unfortunatley she is a minor and has no adults to look after her if she leaves her parents. If yours were still around you could try to get them to support or even adopt her. Something similar that your grandparents did for Sirius Black." Ted explained. "But if she is just trying to get away from them with no real reason other than… Being with you. There is no way to bend the law for two almost teens becoming independent to date, or mess around I don't need to know." Ted said obviously jumping to some conclusions.

Harry withheld the marriage thing but also didn't correct anything that Ted jumped to. He also had to explain that he was living alone as he didn't want Ted thinking his current guardians try to adopt Hermione. "What if it was something else though?" Harry asked.

Ted held back a sigh, he looked down at the right drawer of his desk thinking about his whiskey stash their for these hard and complicated days. "What do you mean it's something else?" He asked.

"What if we are in a sense already married, and not just trying to be closer to each other?" Harry asked.

Ted didn't say anything for amoment and just looked at Harry. It was hard for Harry to understand what the man was trying to understand as his stare seemed more than just a 'say again' stare. "What arnt you telling me?" Ted asked. "What are you holding back?" Ted continued.

"I can't say Ted, not for a long time if at all. But I can get documents from the bank saying that I am married. Would you be able to do anything with that?" Harry asked. "We don't want full separation, just the ability to choose what to do from now on." Harry explained.

"Why? Youre just kids, not even teenagers. Adults wouldn't even blink an eye at leaving you two alone in a room cause youre that young still." Ted asked, it was clear he didn't want to do this one.

Harry sighed, not sure how to go at this. Eventually Harry spoke up. "Do you remember the war Ted?"

This got a scoff from Ted.

"To my understanding it confined all of you, it caused people to freeze. The war made everyone either flee or hide. I can only imagine the terore it would take to make almost an entire generation stop moving forward. Now what was the feeling of everyone when the news came out that Voldemort died?" He forgot the stigma that name causes, as Ted's whole body flinched away from Harry. Though it did help his case

"Now imagine going back to that. You thought it was all over, you were let's say free finally. But now the war is back and it's all happening by others. If you can imagine that, then you can picture her, even us but that is all you will get Ted." Harry finished explaining. "We want the chance to be free again."
Ted didn't respond right away, it actually took him a few silent minutes for Ted to speak up again. "I'll see what I can do. But I can't promise you much. There are a few paths I can take with marriage. But I hate to say this again. You are a kid, it will take a bit for this, the fastest way would be showing it off. Head line, boy who lived marries young to rebuild. It would publicize you and yours but it would also be the fastest way to make you and your wife, well adults. At least in the eyes of the public and in some legal ways."

"I already hate how public I am, I'll need to talk it over with her. As it's now going to be her life that will be public." Harry said, sighing as he leaned back into the chair.

"It's just a choice, there are others choices i'll look into for you but it's the easiest one there is." Harry nodded at his words but dreaded them.

He was already a public figure and hated what he went through last time he went through school. He was looking forward to after the war where he could just relax and be quiet. He was kind of hoping for that to be this time through as well.

He let out another sigh again. "There is just one more thing." Harry said as he reached inside his own robes to pull out the file that his father.

"Merlin hell kid. You up end one belief that is held by most of magical Britain, you ask for me to emancipate your wife from her parents without tearing apart her family. And you ask for more?" He let out a laugh. "Harry, you sure do know how to make an impression."

"When you need help you go to the right people." Harry said as he reached into his robes and pulled out the folder that his father told him to look at. "I was told to go to the goblins. But to me I'd rather be covered by a law wizard who cares about laws rather than goblins that care about money." Harry said as he let the wizard read through the documents.

Harry took the time to think through all the information.

First things first was that he confirmed a worry, everything that happened last time is the same. Sirius went away without a trial. And the same, yet little information he has on the last war is also still correct. He didn't have any reason to believe them but Death really did send him back, nothing else changed. It's terrifying to know how much power they have yet they have to rely on him. Stupid yet terrifying.

Second off, can they really do something so different as getting married with little to no repercussions? Who knows what they already caused with this path they probably shouldn't have jumped the gun like that. Harry really needs to watch his anger when it comes to Hermione. Though being robbed of her in his last life makes him pissed off, he doesn't want anything to happen to her. Including simple bullying, though she also went with the idea.

Finally they really should talk about everything. It's only been two days but it feels like so much information. "HARRY." Ted practically shouted at him. Which startled him to the point of jumping into the air a bit. "I'm sorry but you seemed to be in the clouds man." Ted explained to the young lord.

Harry, with one hand on his heart, forced himself not to have drawn his wand at the surprise, as he could not have drawn it and explained it to the man. "Yes. Sorry I was. Have you finished?" Harry asked. To which Ted nodded.

"Well, do you know anything about this document?" Ted asked, though Harry only shook his head.

"Just that it has to do with Greengrass and that it may be." Harry paused, not sure how to say it.

"Illegal for the past thirty or so years." Ted offered. To which Harry nodded. "Well good news I can easily get you out of this. There isn't a precedent for it yet but I'm confident I can get this agreement tossed for the spirit of the law if not the letter of it. It'll also give." Ted started to rant which Harry interrupted.

"Ted." Harry said, waving his hand in front of him to get the adult to stop. "Explain it to me please."

"Well it's a lot of technical language to be honest. But it seems your grandfather and the father of the current house of Greengrass signed a business deal. Money for a daughter really. Half when they signed and the other half with inflation accounted for when Potter and Greengrass got married. There are other situations but that is what this is." He pointed at the folder. "Mostly about." Ted explained.

"Is it legal if we follow through with it?" Harry asked, simply trying to hold back his glee. Hermione's friend would be safe from the bullying and abuse that Malfoy had her go through and her family is more protected.

"Bloody fucking." Ted sighed loudly from across his desk. "What in Merlin's balls are you planning?" He asked but didn't wait for a response. "Let's get the man who may have betrayed your parents, let alone magical Britain, out of jail. I could follow that if he is innocent. Emancipation for your young wife or friend. I don't understand fully but i'll try. NOW you're asking about a practice that was outlawed but still able to be done and you seem happy? You are already married!" Ted exclaimed.

"I am yes, and polygamy isn't illegal in the magical world, just not common. Normally when houses need to continue the line of both houses. A wizard marries one for his house and marries another for those children to be born to the other." Harry explained.

"I know how the bloody law works." Ted snapped at the young wizard.

Harry just sat there, waiting for Ted to calm down. After a while Harry spoke back up. "What I do will eventually matter to you, and at that time I will fill you in as a friend of my father and someone I don't want to see get hurt. Please as of now, work Sirius, and work on my wife. Send a letter to Gringotts for payment and you will get it. Don't be cheap, I want this all done by the time we go back to Hogwarts."
Ted was staring at Harry now, not sure how to actually respond. They sat there for a while like that. Harry was finally able to say everything he wanted, yet he felt exhausted like he stared down a dementor and won. Or at least walked away.

It was Ted that spoke next. "It won't be cheap." He said it in a way that made it seem like he lost something in the discussion. "I'll keep Nym, my daughter, looking for evidence with Sirius. I'll send out questions for the muggle authorities to see how we can make this work. Again no promises. Do you want me to do anything with Greengrass?" He asked, writing some notes down on a piece of paper.

"No, not yet at least. I'll need to talk to my wife to see what we want to do with this information. Though you will be a part of the correspondence with them if we move forward making sure we stay on the right side of the law for that." Harry said, standing up and straightening his robes.

Ted took the motion and stood up as well seeing that this meeting was done. "I'll send you a letter with more information but it will take a while. I can't promise it will be along your timeline but we will work hard Harry, we always do." Ted extended his hand and Harry shook it.

"Let's also correspond. I'd love to hear about my family from yours, and eventually I'd love for our families to become friends like they have in the past." Harry said to the older wizard.

"We shall see." Ted said to the young wizard. "You are starting Hogwarts soon, not much time to get together." He explained his words.

"We shall." Harry said as he turned to leave.

Letting the older wizard be alone to think about everything. It wasn't normal for a wizard let alone a kid to be asking about all these questions. Ted reached down to the drawer of the alcohol he stored and pulled out a bottle as he heard all the doors close. He didn't even pull out a glass as he just started to drink from the bottle.

He could be correct about Sirius, the more he thought about ten to eleven years ago the more he realized there were no trials and the papers were quiet about anything related to that night as everyone wanted to celebrate the victory. He might know more than anyone due to some kind of spell or a painting there was but having a wife? And wanting to emancipate her in the muggle world.

He shook his head and took another swig. "Harry Potter." He tested the name. "Just what are you thinking of doing?" He sighed to his empty office and pulled out a letter to write to his wife. He rather hears it from him than their daughter or the gossip mill of the ministry. Her cousin might be the man they thought him to be fifteen years ago and not some murderer. The world thought of him eleven years ago.

Harry on the other hand as he left the law office, was thinking of what he was going to eat for lunch and to find out what was happening with Hermione. He was a bit excited as he was going to tell her the good news on Greengrass. He wanted to jump into action and send a letter to Lord Greengrass, but wanted to hear what Hermione thought of the idea that he held her betrothed agreement instead of Malfoy.
