Before I start. Stevon is the Blue Spix Macaw which is me. I am in the Rio story.
Chapter 1: Changes In Life
(Stevon's POV)
I was excited about going on a trip to Rio De Janeiro for the first time with my owner companion named Daisy. I lived in Alaska for 20 years and I had a good life there. We woke up early morning at 6:00 AM. Daisy's friend named Amber dropped me and Stevon off to the airport. Daisy got her suitcase, she got my cage, and I always travel with a fanny pack. The reason why we are going to Rio De Janeiro. Daisy found a newspaper that Linda and Tulio the humans found the Blue Spix Macaws in the Amazon Rainforest back in 2014. Daisy told me the news that the two humans found my own kind the Blue Spix Macaws. I thought I was the only Blue Spix Macaw left but lucky I am not. It was a miracle. Daisy decide to see Rio De Janeiro for a few days and go to the aviary to see Linda and Tulio. It was awesome to go to a new city. I want travel to a lot of places France, Europe, Africa, China, Russia, Italy, Mexico, Hawaii, and Haiti.
Daisy carried her luggage and me and my cage into the plane and the people were looking at me. Some people said look at that, there is a blue macaw living in Alaska and asked what is a blue macaw living in Alaska? Stevon felt uncomfortable around this people. Daisy saw me sad and said "Hey, don't listen to them. You will always be my big brave boy." I smiled at her comment.
They are on the plane, Daisy and me relaxed. Daisy was fast asleep and Stevon was looking through the window. "I love being on planes. Humans are smart. I hope we travel to Brazil as fast as we can."
I went to sleep in my cage. After 7 hours of getting to Rio De Janeiro. The plane landed. Daisy and me woke up. We got the announcement from the plane captain and told us to be seated until the plane stops. The plane stops. The people got their luggage and book bags. Daisy got her luggage, me, and my cage. There was a sign and said Welcome To Rio De Janeiro. I heard there was Carnival parade happening in Rio De Janeiro. Rio De Janeiro was the place for people to party. The people are very friendly. We got out of the plane and went to the baggage claim. We went to get a rental car. We got the Nissan rental car. We drive to the hotel called Hotel Fasano Rio De Janeiro. We checked in with the staff member named George. He checked us in and said that is a nice blue macaw. Daisy said thank you to him. We got on the elevator, we were on floor 11. We went to the room at the hotel. The hotel was nice, they have a wonderful window and bed.
Daisy and I leave the hotel to go to the aviary. She puts me in a cage and she covered the cage with a blanket so I won't get faltered by smugglers. I was on Daisy's shoulder and saw birds flying. I saw a Scarlet Macaw, Military Macaw, and Golden Conure macaw flying. We got inside the car and head to the aviary.
In the aviary. We saw some birds being injured. Daisy spoke to the woman named Linda. She wants to speak to Tulio. Linda got Tulio to talk to the woman. Tulio wants his adopted son Fernando to see the woman named Daisy as well. Tulio greeted Daisy in a nice manner way and shakes her hand. Daisy shakes Tulio's and Fernando's hand. She uncovered the cage. Linda, Tulio, and Fernando were amazed that they saw another Blue Spix macaw. Linda told Daisy that she have a pet Blue Spix Macaw named Blu. She told Daisy everything about her memories with Blu, Blu having a wife and kids, her former companion bird and his family moved to the Amazon Rainforest to live with their kind since she and Tulio was the one that find them in the Amazon Rainforest. Daisy was amazed by Linda's story. Linda told Daisy that Blu and his family are going to Rio De Janeiro for a vacation. Daisy and me is happy that we will have a chance to meet them. Daisy gives Linda and Tulio her phone number. Linda told her when her companion Blu and his family get her. She call Daisy and let her know. Daisy understood. She shake three humans hands known as Linda, Tulio, and Fernando.
Me and Daisy left the aviary and say goodbye to the three humans. Tonight, Daisy is going to dinner. I couldn't came since the restaurant don't allow animals in the restaurant. I am not a pet, I am a companion. Daisy left the hotel and she will see me later. I was alone at the hotel. I watch soccer. The Brazil teams are going against the Ecuador teams. At 9:30pm Daisy came back. I was happy to see her. There was a knock on the door. Daisy answered and it revealed to be three people who have guns. The Medium skin guy he was wearing a red Hawaiian shirt with blue jeans with red Air Jordans, he is wearing a pair of sunglasses, the second man is African American, he was wearing a gray shirt sleeve shirt with black pants with gray Nike Air sneakers, and the third man is wearing a orange shirt that have a letter T on it and wearing gray pants with orange Nike shoes. I came to attack the three evil people but they shot a dart. Daisy came to check on me and I was still alive. The three people was about to kill Daisy and they used their guns to shoot. The bullets came out, I fly faster to rescue Daisy but it was too late. She was killed by the three men. She was bleeding. It was the first day we came to Rio De Janeiro but this happened. The three guys run away. I hope they get arrested by those cops.
I called the staff manager member George. I told him what happened. George came to our rooms and see Daisy bleeding. I called the ambulance. The ambulance took Daisy to the hospital. The doctor said she won't make it, she will die. I was so sad. After three hours, Daisy died. Daisy is now in a better place which called heaven. I got Daisy's phone and took a picture of her and post it on Instagram and Facebook so her family and friends know. I post it on Instagram and Facebook and they were sorry for her loss and said R.I.P.
"That's my story, I don't know what to do now since my owner died. What should I do as a bird in Rio."
