Random Story 1: Pushing To The Limits
*Simulation Room*
"Thanks for taking the time to join me today, Master. Hope I'm not dragging you away from some important business." Astraea said
"Oh, it's okay, Astraea. I'm always free when you guys need me. So, any reason why you brought me here?" Sonic asks
"Well, I brought you here today because I got something to show you. Something I'm sure you'll be excited about." Astraea replies
"Oh? And what that may be?"
"Thanks to a particular weirdo of a pirate, he showed me some unique tricks that I can use for battle. More specifically, taking advantage of my fists!" Astraea stated
"I see. So you want to take your hand-to-hand combat more seriously?"
"Indeed. After training these new tricks, I can comfortably say I'm ready to take this to real combat! But I must bring them to you and get your approval." Astraea commented
"Anything for you, buddy~ As I said before, you do what fits you right. You don't need to ask me for something or get my approval; you choose what you want to do." Sonic stated
"Such a thoughtful Master you are. Either way, I hope my training can satisfy you regardless, Sonic. *Boxing Gloves Appear On Her Hands* Ready?" Astraea asks
"Ready when you are, Astraea," Sonic replies
Moments later, a Shadow Servant of Ishtar appears before Astraea as her punching bag; she gets into position soon after.
"(Of course, it had to be Ishtar herself.)" Sonic thought
"*She Stares At The Shadow Ishtar While Breathing To Relax* As my first showcase, I like to call this 1-1-2. *She Then Lands two strong Jabs Directly At Shadow Ishtar's Face, Staggering, Before Punching Them With A Perfect Right Hand Straight To The Jaw. The Shadow Falling Back Onto The Ground And Vanishing* Whew! That felt better than I realized." Astraea commented
"*Whistles And Claps For Astraea* That was great, Astraea! It was simple but still looked painful! I feel sorry for the person caught in that one." Sonic said
"Oh, don't worry, Sonic. I have more to show you. *A Shadow Okita Appears Soon After In Front Of Her* Let's see how this would do in a real battle." Astraea commented
Shadow Okita unsheaths her blade and lunges toward Astraea quickly as she watches the Saber get closer by the second. Astraea stands in the same spot as Shadow Okita, right in front of her, and she nails the Shaodw with a Smash punch right to her jaw. She then switches to a Southpaw Stance and throws a right-handed punch soon. After walking back, she took a few steps back, falling and kneeling soon after from the force of the punches before vanishing.
"That was tight! Wooo! That was amazing, Astraea!" Sonic cheered
"Time for the next one." Astraea thought
Right after Shadow Okita vanishes, a Shadow Blackbeard appears as Astraea is slightly disappointed by the opponent. However, she did have an idea and continued with it. Shadow Blackbeard begins to throw barrels toward Astraea, but she quickly dodges and dashes away from each barrel thrown at her. Sonic watches as Astraea dodges each barrel with perfect movement, getting closer to Shadow Blackbeard. Shadow Blackbeard pulls out a lighter but sees Astraea in front of him. Though Astraea never punches the Shaodw, she looks away from the Shadow in a different direction. Sonic is initially confused but notices Shaodw Blackbeard looking in the same direction as Astraea. Suddenly, the lights of the simulation room flicker off entirely and then turn back on soon after. Shadow Blackbeard looks around and does not see Astraea around at all. After a little of not finding Astraea, the Shaodw looks down and suddenly sees Astraea as she performs a Frog punch, doing an uppercut that hits the chin of the Shadow and sends them flying straight into the ceiling, hitting it and causing a hole through the building.
"Did you see that, Master? What did you think?" Astraea asks
"Way past cool! You're giving them a run for their money! But, try not to do something like that to our friends. Don't want you to break their jaws or send them flying out of Chaldea now, would you?" Sonic stated
"I'll try to restrain myself. *Thinks About Ishtar As Her Fist Shake But Quickly Stops Herself* O-Okay... Moving on to the next one... let's see who's next." Astraea said
Shortly after, a Shadow Kriemhild appears in front of her without hesitation. The Shadow Servant lunges towards Astraea and swings her sword across, mimicking Kriemhild's cries. Astraea was off guard by the Shadow's sudden attacks as she dodged the sword slashes heading towards her.
"Well... I guess Kriemhild is the most understood one acting like this..." Sonic commented
"An aggressive one, I see. *Dodges A Sword Slash* Don't worry, Master. I got this." Astraea said
Astraea jumps back from the Shadow Servant as she twists her right arm and rotates her body. The Shadow Kriemhild cries out as she rushes towards Astraea in the same position. Astraea forcefully released a blow directly at the Shadow's heart as soon as she was close, stunning Shadow Kriemhild entirely.
"Whoa... She punched her where it hurt more for Kriemhild... The heart..." Sonic whispers
Astraea then raises her left arm and violently does a full swing to Shadow Kriemhild's head, the Shadow vanishing soon after from the violent blow.
"*Sighs* Don't take this the wrong way, Master- *Is Suddenly Cut Off By Shadow Siegfried, Who Was Swinging His Blade At The Ruler* Whoa! A surprise attack! You got me there; I'll give you that!"
"Astraea!" Sonic shouted
Astraea jumps back each time the Shadow Siegfried swings their blade towards her. Astraea attempts to get her balance, but the Shadow won't let her get her footing correct. Sonic watches as Astraea can only dodge the attacks. He is about to intervene, but Astraea stops him.
"Hold up there, Master! Don't worry your little tail there; I must clean this one from their sins. I can feel it from here." Astraea stated
"Astraea..."
After a short while, she was passed as Astraea dodged each of the Shadow's attacks. She takes this to the next level with no end in sight. She jumps back and waits as the Shadow runs up to her. As soon as the Shadow does, Astraea hits Shadow Siegfried with a Gazelle Punch and shifts back and forth at incredible speed, activating Chaos Energy. Sonic watches intently, Astraea using the sways to deal quickly and punch on both sides of Shadow's Siegfried's face. She punches the Shadow countless times before finishing it with a powerful right swing, the Shadow vanishing soon after.
"*Breathing Hevaily As Chaos Energy Deactvites* Shoot... I didn't realize I was pushing myself that much right now... For once, I have to be careful..." Astraea commented
"Hey, Astraea... Ummm... Maybe we can stop this right now... I think you showed enough for one day..." Sonic concerned
"Hey, no to worry about me, Master. Despite my current situation, I can still go one longer. After all, I am a Servant." Astraea replies
"Yeah... But Chaos Energy that you used just now took a heavy toll on you. I already know you are strong and have so much more to showcase. But I still want you to be safe. That's all I want right now..." Sonic explained
"Nice to know I have someone looking out for me. Hmmm... you know what, it is Master's order, and I can't go against it, so..."
Suddenly, someone towers over Astraea, blocking the light above her. She turns around to see a Shadow Mori Nagoyoshi standing in front of her, ready to kill her right there on the spot.
"Astraea!" Sonic shouted
Astraea looks up at the Shadow Mori As she squeezes her fist tightly. "Come on, big one, show me what you got!" Astraea said in her mind as the Shadow Servant lungers their weapon towards her. The Ruler herself sways back from the attack. The Shadow attempts to strike her again, but Astraea punches it away. As the Shadow was getting ready to try to strike once again, Astraea stepped on Shadow's Mori's foot and head, headbutting the Shadow on the face violently as blood splattered. Sonic was in shock as she now unleashed a blood barrage of hooks onto the Shadow's face, punching their face into their skull until smashing her right fist into the opponent's face, knocking the Shadow back and hitting the wall violently, creating a hole in the process.
"*Breathing Heavily Again, This Time Coughing Up Blood And Kneeling On The Ground. Blood Dripping Down From Her Face* ..."
"*Runs Towards Her Side And helps Astraea* Okay, that's enough boxing for one day, Astraea... We have to get you to the infirmary pronto... That headbutt to that Shadow did some damage to you..." Sonic said
Sonic didn't know that Astraea was blacked out and couldn't hear anything Sonic was saying. All she could hear was ringing, and her eyes were slightly blinded. As she tried to gather herself and rest for a little, she then noticed the Shadow Mori getting up again from the ground. Her eyes widened as she saw the Shadow picking up its weapon and cleaning the blood off its face. Sonic looks at the Shadow, who is still standing after that punch.
"Great... Just great... Even in a shadow form, Mori still doesn't know when to give up... Don't worry, Astraea. Allow me to take care of this-"
Astraea puts a hand in front of Sonic, stopping him as he slowly gets up and stands on her two feet again. Sonic looks at Astraea, confused, until she suddenly dashes with a severe look towards Astraea. Her feet slide on the floor as she turns around to throw a punch toward the Shadow Servant. Still, the Shadow Mori unexpectedly punches Astraea directly in the face, damaging her greatly as blood spews everywhere.
"ASTRAEA!" Sonic cried out
Despite the heavy punch she was faced with, her body was aboard it as she returned a counter with a proper body blow, shattering not only the Shadow's armor body but their ribcage. The Shadow Servant kneels on the ground as Astraea lifts her left arm. The Shadow Servant reveals what Astraea is doing and attempts to block the attack with his weapon. However, Astraea was suddenly gone and nowhere to be seen again. Suddenly, Astraea appears and unleashes her deadliest punches by punching the Shadow Servant's ribcage again and destroying it entirely. The punch alone was enough for the Shadow to vanish away as well; Astraea, on the other hand, soon fell backward as Sonic dashed in and caught her in time. Sonic looks at the unconscious Goddess and sighs.
"AT least Teach gave you some useful advice for once... But, let's this be a reminder not to push yourself anymore, right?" Sonic said
"..."
"But I'm proud you're doing your best to grow even more vital. Despite what others say, Servants are weaker than before they were qualified as Servants. I'm glad you're proving them wrong and that Servants can get even stronger. That's what makes me proud of all of you." Sonic stated
"... M... M... Ma... st... er..."
"Don't worry, I'm right here for you, Astraea. Come on, I'll take you to the infirmary so you can treated for your injuries. Like I said, I'm proud of you. But also, look out for yourself as well. *Carries Astraea In A Bridal Carry As He Walks Out Of The SImulation Room To The Infirmary.*"
