Chapter 20: The Power of Colors Pt 2
Within Snively's lair near the borders of the Dragon Empire. Mina is locked up in a cell and she begins to wake up from her slumber. "My head, that rubber bullet took the wind out of here," Mina thought as she saw her clothing was gone and replaced with a plain white bodysuit.
"Hey, where is my outfit? I bet you sneak a peek Snively," Mina feeling upset as the screen to the side turns on to see the small human male.
"I wouldn't dream of fantasizing about having sex with a rat unlike your human fans do," Snively said.
"I am a good catch unless Regina who is a total bitch," Mina said as Snively looks very upset for Mina felt her body get numb with pain to fall onto the floor.
"Don't you dare speak ill of my lovely wife who is a true beauty compared to you brat," Snively said. She hates Snively calling her a brat since she was 21 years old not too long ago. She looks down to see she has a shock collar around her neck.
"What are you going to do with me?" Mina demanded as Snively laughed at this.
"I see you use Color powers with the Wisp and you will be perfect for my experiment. I have managed to make a clone of the Mother Wisp and I want you to absorb herself," Snively said.
"What?!" Mina questioned.
"Yes with her power you will be able to generate your Hyper go in energy on your own allowing you to use all the Color powers at once and use them on command without outside aid. You will be very powerful and become a perfect weapon for me to get rid of that troublesome hedgehog," Snively said.
"I will never let you do that," Mina said as she was shocked by her shock collar again until she blacked out.
"Troops prepare her for the experiment. I will greet our guests with my new mech," Snively said as the Swat-Bots went to Mina's cell to pick her up to head for the lab.
Regina is overlooking the operation to see a large, cloned Mother Wisp captured in a chamber to be used to power up Mina as a weapon against Sonic. "Well, the rat has come to play her role. Once we put this Queen inside you. I will put a control device which will allow me to mind control you and fight against your boyfriend," Regina said as Mina was put onto a table where there was a spike right above her that would be able to transfer the life energy and power of the clone Mother Wisp.
"Activating transfer," the Swat-Bot turns on the power and the machine begins to absorb Mother Wisp to transfer all her power into Mina. The spike glows and shoots a beam of energy into Mina's chest to make her lash out in pain.
"My body is fire," Mina groaned as her body was glowing in rainbow colors. Mina feels her body despite being in pain, she feels herself getting stronger and Hyper Go-on energy flowing through her body.
Regina checks the systems to see the Mother Wisp has been fully absorbed into Mina's body as she is surging with new power. "What is going on?" Regina said as the Swat Bots were looking at the monitor.
"Status is going smoothly, she is making her own Hyper go-on energy to gain the same amount of power as the Mother Wisp," the officer bot said.
"Good and now put the control device onto her head," Regina ordered as a Swat-bot was holding onto a headpiece and about to place it on her forehead.
"No, I will not betray Sonic," Mina said as the robot hocks the device onto her head. Her mind is becoming very lax as the device tries to control her mind and Regina is laughing at her.
"Don't be a silly young lady. You will be my slave and go kill your lover against your will," Regina said as Mina got off the table for she was fighting back using her willpower. Power is exploding from her body as she is using her knowledge of controlling.
"Sonic, I will never hurt the love of my life. I would rather die than lay a hand on him," Mina said as Regina was blinded by the sheer amount of light coming from her rainbow aura covering her body.
"What in the world?" Regina asked.
"I will not betray him!" Mina screams as her Hyper-go-on energy unleashes a huge shockwave knocking back everything in the room and smashing the machinery in the area. The control device and shock collar break while regaining control over her body.
"Impossible," Regina said as Mina felt overwhelming power within her. Mina feels like she can do anything now.
"This is the power of a Mother Wisp. I can make my Hyper-go-on energy on my own and I can use any Color power without limitations," Mina thought as multiple Swat-Bots and Hover Units entered into the ruined lab room.
"Use riot rounds and knock her out," Regina said as they began opening fire.
"Quake," Mina summons stone armor to cling to her body as all the rubber bullets bounce off her Stoneskin.
"What?!" Regina looks shocked to see Mina has a level of mastery over her Color powers than she thought.
"You underestimated me, your highness. Now I am going to use this gift you gave me and destroy bad guys like you five times as hard," Mina said as she stomped on the floor to conjure stone spears to erupt and pierce every robot in the room.
Regina gets away to put the base on high alert. "Kill on sight, this isn't worth it," Regina said as the machines crowded the hallways with Mina getting ready to test out her new powers and abilities.
Mina can feel her hand warming up as she conjures a fireball from her hands. "Time for some payback and get out of here," Mina said as she used her speed for she noticed she was faster than before due to her body being enhanced by her natural Hyper go-on energy. "I better get used to this," she thought as she rushed towards the Swat-bots to blast them with streams of flames.
"Burst," she cloaks herself in flames to tackle through hordes of machines leaving behind burned scrap heaps. She is tossing fireballs to destroy incoming Hover Units. She destroys a section of wall to leap outside to see the huge complex deep within the mountains.
Mina uses her hover powers allowing her to float downward with only one thing on her mind. "I need to see Sonic and the others and get away from that woman," Mina said as she saw multiple flying drones firing their lasers at her.
She kicks off the wall to use the drones as platforms to get closer to the ground while cutting them down with each passing jump using her kicks and Color powers.
She is letting out flame crescents from her kicks to tear up incoming flying drones. She shoots out of her lightning whip to extend it from her hand to pierce a drone to swing herself onto the next one.
She grabs onto the last drone to get close to the bottom to see a swarm of robots waiting for her to sit down. "I need a new route," she thought to see a building nearby and a window for her escape route.
She leaps off the drone to aim for the window nearby. "Laser + Spike," Mina goes at high speed while becoming a pink spiked ball to smash into the window to hit a guard in the head launching the machine onto a wall to land inside the building.
"Damn it, there is the reject kill her," Regina ordered as the Swat-bots fire their arm cannons with Mina getting behind cover.
She is leaping out of cover to go into a spike ball to use her version of the Spin Dash to cut down several lines of robotic troopers in her wake. She fires a blast of lightning to stun the robot to uses a Lightning dash to chain together attacks to destroy them in order.
She goes into her stone armor which allows her to block incoming shots along with her stony skin getting stronger as well enough to tank a rocket that hits her with some damage but does not break her stone armor.
She digs her foot into the floor to let out a big pillar of rock to crash through the floor to smash up their defenses. She lets the stone wall explode like a grenade to destroy more Swat-bots and Hover Units.
She leaps down the hole the stone pillar made to fall several floors to be on her feet to see robots coming at her with full force. "Kill the reject," the officer bot said as lasers and explosives covered the whole hallways. She is in her Laser state blazing through the hallways at swift speeds only appearing as a yellow and purple blur.
She is chopping down enemies kicking a Swat-bot onto the floor and leashes out with several bolts of lightning to stab an Officer bot and launch it at another robot.
She uses her lightning whip to wreak multiple groups of robots to knock down for she slams her foot with enough force to send a mech flying into a pile of crates to explode on contact. She leaps into the air to dodge laser fire and lands her palm on the floor to entrap robots into blue cubes.
She made them explode with a snap of her fingers. "Lock up that area. Empower those walls even her color powers wouldn't work on them," Regina ordered as all the windows and doors were covered by an energy field.
Mina wants to check first for she picks up a piece of rubble and tosses it at the energized door. The piece of rubble got vaporized on contact. "Hmm, touching it would be no good," Mina thinks for a moment as she wants to try out a new Color Power.
"Ghost," Mina uses the Jade Ghost Color Power to not only become intangible but invisible as well. She manages to walk through the death barrier and not suffer any damage. She is inside a large warehouse which is filled with Swat-bots, Hover Units, and Assault Walkers using their sensors to find Mina.
Thankfully her Ghost form can make her immune to their sensors allowing her to sneak past them. She enters a server room in her Ghost form and runs out as she goes to a monitor to see some interesting data.
"Very interesting," Mina types onto the keyboard to see she was part of Project Mother-born which involves them using cloned Mother Wisps to create a weapon that can kill Sonic the Hedgehog. "Oh boy, that backfired. Still, I remember Eggman capturing the Mother Wisp on Planet Wisp and using her against Sonic. She got turned into that awful monster," Mina said.
Mina remembers the mission where she, Sonic, and Tails went to Eggman's weird space amusement park trying to control the Wisp and using their Hyper go-on energy for his evil plan. Sonic went Super to defeat and restore the Mother Wisp to normal.
"I bet Snively took the genetic data of the Mother Wisp to clone her for his twisted plan," Mina said as she went to a camera to see a room filled with failed Mother Wisp slowly dying in their tubes. "Poor things. This is a gift and I am not going to waste it," Mina said as she moved on to phase through a wall to be in another room.
"Threat detected," the scout bot uses its advanced sensors to pick up Mina's movements as several gas grenades get launched in her direction.
She emits her body with flames to burn away the gas but it explodes instead to send her flying onto the floor. She regains her footing to throw fireballs and lightning bolts to take down several robots.
"Void," Mina gathers energy into her palms to summon a mini black hole to suck in all the robots into the black orb making it bigger until it implodes clearing out the whole area. Mina sees there is a door high above and she uses her new powers to get up there.
"Hover," Mina empowers herself to make her able to jump very high and slowly float onto the platform until she lands. She phases through the door to see a huge spider mech blocking her path.
"I see you are getting used to your new powers huh? Let's see if you fight my spider mech," Regina said on the loudspeaker to order the monstrous robot to fire laser bolts with Mina using her newfound speed to avoid its attacks.
"You have no idea, Asteroid," Mina creates a clone of herself to confuse the machine and attack her clone instead. "Asteroid + Burst," she turns her clone into a firebomb and lobs it at the machine spider to score a hit causing some damage. Parts of the machine were set on fire as Mina was doing another Color Combo move.
"Remarkable, how is she adapting so quickly to the Color powers? Must that damned hedgehog giving her guidance about it from before," Regina said as she is chosen due to her familiarity with the Color powers of the Wisp.
The mech Spider leaps on top of the ceiling to fire its laser cannons to keep Mina on her toes running away to gain some ground. She is leaving Asteroid clones behind to draw away attention from herself.
"Drill + Laser," Mina transforms into a drill and shoots at the hanging spider at swift speeds to slam into its back knocking it back onto the floor. Mina peppers the exposed underbelly with fireballs from her palms to further damage it.
"Cube + Quake," Mina transforms into a cube while making herself very dense and heavy. She falls and crushes the center of the spider killing the mech instantly.
"Damn it, I will kill you rat," Regina said to cut off the feed to prepare to use her nanites along with her Magitek to create a powerful machine to fight Mina.
Back with Mina, she managed to get outside to be within an airfield covered in hovercrafts and other air vehicles. "Finally, I can go find Sonic down this mountain. I hope Mama and Melody are okay," Mina said as the doors behind her burst open to reveal a huge robotic turtle unleashing a barrage of ice balls from its maws.
Mina cloaked herself in flames but the blast knocked her onto the ground. "Say hello to my nanite creation Dome Turtle. He will crush you under its shell, destroy her now," Regina ordered as the turtle dug into the ground to go for a sneak attack.
Mina can't see the metal beast but she turns around to see the huge metal turtle leap out of the ground and tackle her. She flops onto the ground to regain her footing to fire fireballs and lightning bolts with the metal beast tanking her energy attacks.
The Doom Turtle fires drones above its head to fire a barrage of ice bolts to strike the area around Mina. She summons a pillar of stone to block the attacks but all the ice explodes knocking Mina around. The drones are covering the turtle with them firing more ice spikes triggering explosions on impact with anything they touch.
Mina uses a lightning whip to cut and tear apart incoming ice spikes as the drones are keeping her on the back foot. The turtle enters back underground with its drones going to kamikaze Mina. She summons a wall of stone to block the ice explosions made by the drones striking the wall as she sets up bomb-infused clones to try to confuse the machine.
She sees the machine tearing through the airfield underground to set up more drones to target all the clones and destroy them with ease. The Doom Turtle goes after the real Mina and leaps out of the ground.
Mina rolls out of the machine's lunge but it begins to spin in its shell to spread out clouds of frozen mist trying to freeze her to death. Mina cloaks herself in flames to prevent from freezing from the robot's frost attack.
"Drill + Bomb," Mina fires a bomb-infused drill from her palm to aim for the side of the turtle. The attack digs into its shell to let out a big explosion inside blowing a hole in its defenses. "Perfect, an opening to exploit," she thought as she waited for an opening for the machine to go on the attack trying to kill her. The metal beast leaps at Mina as she uses her Ghost form to let the machine slip right through her without harming her.
She sees the hole in its shell to use her next move. "Rocket + Bomb," she lobs a cluster rocket to enter its exposed area. The rocket triggers to blow up inside along with several bomblets setting off shortly after tearing the metal monster in half.
"No! My precious baby, you will pay for that little rat," Regina said as she had her Swatbot go after her again.
"Time to get out of here," Mina said as she used her new speed to get out of here.
Elsewhere Sonic, Tails, Nicole, and Cosmo are within Dragon Empire's borders to face several groups of robots to hold them back. "Damn it, don't stop us," Sonic said as he kicks down more Swat-bot with Tails knocking down Hover Units with homing laser shots. Nicole hacked into machines with Cosmo crushing them with tree roots.
"So nice to join us Hedgehog," Snively said as he leaps in with a large battle mech launching missiles at them. Cosmo summons a wall of roots to block the explosions by Snively firing a flamethrower to burn away the roots.
Tails is firing his autocannon to hold back Snively but the evil genius's mech has a powerful energy shield that blocks his shots without much stress. "Wow, that shield is pretty strong," Tails said.
"Yes, it is," Nicole said to scan the shield to pinpoint the shield generator on the back of the mech but the shield is still active not allowing them to hit it.
"This mech is the Hedge Beater and I will use it to kill you Sonic to do what my Uncle failed to do," Snively said.
"Get in line Needlenose, I am not dying anytime soon," Sonic said.
"We are beating you Snively and getting our friend Mina back," Tails said as the little dictator laughed at this.
"So sad. I have big plans for that mongoose woman," Snively said as he unload explosive rounds from his chain guns with everyone scattering from his attacks.
Cosmo summons tree roots to attack the shield but it holds strong against it. Cosmo conjures flower buds around Snively to let out plumes of acid but does not have any effect on the energy shield.
"Eat this," Snively unloads several hypersonic missiles with Sonic trying to dodge but the missiles are too fast and he gets hit with explosions.
"Sonic," Cosmo grabs him with a tree root she is controlling as a flower bud appears beside him. "This will help," Cosmo said as the bud emits a misty gas which heals Sonic's wounds he took from the blasts.
"Thanks," Sonic got back up to get back with Tails and Nicole trying to subvert the shield but Nicole is getting blocked by Snively's very strong firewalls in his Hedge Beater mech suit.
"I know you have AI on your Tails. I prepared just in case of her hacking into my systems. Even a supercomputer will take a long time to crack it but it will not matter since you will be dead," Snively leaps into the air to lunge at Tails.
He moves his cyclone to boost out of the way but Snively creates a big shockwave to knock Tails' Cyclone into a tree.
"Tails," Cosmo went over to check up on him with Sonic getting pissed with this.
"Tails," Sonic said as he charged up to aim right for Snively's throat. "Light Speed Attack," Sonic launches himself at light speed to slam into the barrier with enough force to send Snively flying into a cliff getting buried by a pile of rocks. "Tails, Nicole are you alright?" Sonic asked as Cosmo already over there checking if Tails was hurt.
"Yeah, we are cool Sonic," Tails said as he got the cyclone back onto its feet with Nicole detecting activity from Snively's mech. The rock pile gets vaporized by a surge of power from his mech as he fires missiles at them. They explode above them to set the ground around them on fire encircling them.
"As you can see, my barrier is strong and I am going to crush you Sonic," Snively said as he prepared another barrage.
"Ghost + Laser," Mina phases through the barrier to kick into the shield generator to disable them to break the barrier.
"What the hell?" Snively wondered as he was vulnerable to Sonic seeing Mina on top of a rock. She has a rainbow-colored aura engulfing her body with her purple hair glowing rainbow colors briefly.
"Miss me Needlenose?" Mina teases the mad tyrant as she waves to him with a big smile. Snively looks dumbfounded by this.
"How did you get away Regina was supposed to mind control you yet you still have the powers of the Mother Wisp," Snively looks in fear as he begins to panic.
"And I know how to use the power of the Mother Wisp you gave me to kick the ass of your bitch of a girlfriend and her pet turtle," Mina said.
"Mina," Tails said as Sonic rubbed his nose to be impressed by her girlfriend's determination.
"That's my girl. Snively, get some air," Sonic uses his Light Speed Attack to slam into the Hedge Beater mech to send him packing into the sky towards the mountains. "Well, that was close," Sonic said as he went up to his girlfriend to give her a big hug. "Mina, thank goodness you are okay," he said to kiss her on the lips.
"Thanks, baby. You came here to get little o' me," Mina teases.
"Well yeah but since you are here. We don't have to go any further into Dragon Empire's lands," Tails said.
"Of course, I would go to the ends of Mobius to make sure you were safe," Sonic said.
"Oh, so sweet, I am grateful regardless. We should get out of here before more of their Swat-bots show up," Mina said as they all went back to the borders to rush out of there.
"Mina, that power is Hyper go on energy and Snively said you can use the power of a Mother Wisp?" Tails asked.
"Yeah, it was part of some twisted plan to kill Sonic. They wanted a powerful warrior to fight him and they wanted to use me to do it but it backfires. Now I am more powerful than ever now," Mina said as Sonic noticed Mina was even faster than before able to keep up with him much easier.
"I can tell. You are way stronger now," Sonic said.
"Yes, and I can help you even better than before. I don't need the arm cannon to use Color powers since I can generate my own Hyper go-on energy on par with a Mother Wisp," Mina said.
"How is that possible, there is only one Mother Wisp and she went back to her home planet," Tails said.
"They were cloning them from the genetic data Eggman had when he was experimenting on the mother wisp awhile back," Mina explained.
"I see, well I got to watch out for Regina and Snively as well as their Dragon Empire," Nicole said.
"Yeah, I am going to run some tests Mina, and see how your body is responding to it. I am interested in this," Tails said.
"Don't worry Tails, I'm fine. I feel so great filled with boundless energy," Mina said as she was not getting tired like before while maintaining a faster speed to keep up with her boyfriend. "I can keep up even beyond Mach 1 speeds maybe even more," Mina said as Sonic was excited about this.
"I am going to push you even harder with the speed training. I want to see how fast now you can go babe," he said.
"Oh; I want to go on a race with you. I want to see how fast I can go now," Mina said as she felt so happy that she was truly Sonic's equal and was able to help him and her friend even better than before. "This is a blessing in disguise and now Snively has made a new powerful heroine he will soon regret," Mina thought as she lifted her palm to see a fireball conjuring above it naturally from her own Hyper go on energy.
She closes her hand to wipe out the flame for Team Fighters to go back to Okina City with Mina reborn as a very powerful asset to protect the world from evil.
