I'll Always Protect You

*Deep Inside A Forrest*

In the middle of the forest, Gudako is seen running from a group of Grey Wolves that chased her down behind her as they closed in on her. Her loud footsteps kept giving her location from the sticks and leaves underneath her. She ran desperately, looking for any spot to hide and escape from the bloodthirsty wolves, but there seemed to be no time to hide from them.

"*Running As Fast As Possible* Why did I put myself in his situation?!" Gudako cried out.

Gudako continues to run in an attempt to escape from the wolves. She felt at any second; the wolves would jump on her and eat her alive. As she was running, however, she tripped on a branch and fell to the ground, rolling, getting dirty, and ultimately stopping her escape from the grey wolves. Gudako tried to get back up, but the branch on her feet prevented her from doing so. She looks up and sees the Grey Wolves already caught up to her as they circle her to stop escaping. Her heart was beating fast, and she looked eye to eye with one of the wolves.

"*Sees The Wolves Circling Her, Their Sharp Teeth Being Visible* G-G-Good... Boy..." Gudako, in a panic.

Moments later, the wolf barks as it lunges towards Gudako, its mouth open, ready to bite her and kill her there on the spot. Gudako's eyes widen as she covers herself in a desperate attempt.

"EEEK! *Blocks Her Face, Waiting For Her Ultimate Faith...* ..."

Everything around Gudako suddenly turned silently, but she hadn't moved yet. Moments later, she heard the cries of wolves in front of her as if something was attacking them. Gudako slowly looked at one and saw one of the grey wolves dead on the ground, and it vanished soon after.

"Huh? *Looks And Sees Serenity Land In Front Of Her* S-Serenity!" Gudako surprised

"Stay behind us, Ms. Ritsuka! We don't want you to get hurt!" Serenity exclaimed

Sonic then dashes in and, homing in, attacks one of the grey wolves on their heads multiple times, damaging them enough to kick the wolf across its face and knock it back towards another wolf. Both collide and fall to the ground. Gawain jumps in soon after and slams his sword down onto the wolves, slicing them in half and killing them as they vanish soon after. Another two wolves were charging toward Gudako, but they were quickly taken care of by Enkidu, who used her golden chains to pierce through their bodies and injure them. That's when Raikou appears and slashes their heads off, killing them and vanishing soon after.

"And that takes care of everything. Good job guys." Sonic said

"It's a good thing we saved Ms. Ritsuka just before anything happened to her." Serenity stated

"Yeah, no kidding. Speaking of her *Looks Towards Gudako* It seems we got a little lost inside the forest." Sonic explained

"Tell me about it... We had been walking so long that I lost time and forgot where our exit path was... I only realized I was alone and no longer with you guys. Then I heard noises that I assumed were your guy's footsteps, but then I saw a pack of angry wolves. That's when I started to run in a completely different direction for who knows how long! Luckily, you guys managed to find me and save me... Again... How did you find me anyway?" Gudako asks

"We saw your footprints while trying to look for you. We stumbled upon it and followed it until we heard your cries for help, alerting us and making us run to your location as fast as possible." Serenity explains

"I see. *Sighs* I need to better myself and not get into situations like that anymore... I'm such an idiot..." Gudako said

"You're not an idiot, Ristuka. We all make mistakes at some point. It was just unfortunate that this happened in a place where enemies roam. I should be the one apologizing for putting your life in danger." Sonic stated

"Don't apologize, Sonic. I need to better myself and find my correct footing in all this. I'm still learning from all this." Gudako replies

"Then we will learn together, buddy. This should be a lesson for the two of us in the future. But still, I'll do whatever I can to protect you and the rest."

"Sonic..."

"No matter your situation, just remember that I'll be there for you and protect you. However, it won't be like that all the time. Whenever I'm around, remember that I got your back. You don't have to worry about a single thing, Ritsuka." Sonic said

"*Blushes And Smiles* Thank you, Sonic. But I still need to defend myself as well, you know? I can't rely on you or the Servants every time, and I understand that." Gudako replies

"No problem with that, but we're here to assist you if need be," Sonic replies

"You can also stop by and ask any of us for help. We'll be glad to help you out as well~" Raikou said

"Thanks, everyone, it means a lot." Gudako thanking everyone

"Now then *Extends His Arm Towards Gudako* We still have a mission to complete. Care to join us?" Sonic asks

Gudako looks at his hand and up at Sonic. She smiles, grabs his hand, and then Sonic pulls her up to stand on her two legs.

"That's the spirit, buddy. You're going to be a great hero shortly. I can see it happening." Sonic commented

"She can be a hero right now if she helps us."

Soon, more Grey Wolves appeared out of the forest as they surrounded the group, circling them in every direction. Sonic and Gudako both look around them and get into their stance, ready to fight.

"Ready, Ritsuka?" Sonic said

"Let's do this, Sonic!" Gudako exclaimed

"Right behind you!"
