What Are His Thoughts

*Nighttime, Sonic's Room*

It's the middle of the night for Chaldea, and all the lights inside the building are turned off. Not a single person is seen roaming around the Halls of Chaldea or making any noises at any other time. For once, everything is silent, as everyone is sleeping peacefully inside their respective rooms. Inside the Master's room, Sonic is seen resting on his bed, catching some Z's for the night. With the stalking trio nowhere in sight, the Hedgehog can have his much-needed sleep. Sleeping for the past few hours, it seems no one will bother him at any time at night. At least... that's what he hoped would happen.

"*Appears On The Side Of The Bed, Watching Sonic Sleep* Well, well. It seems like my little Master has been out cold for some time now. You must've had a tiring day yesterday, correct?" Kama commented.

"Zzz..."

"As expected, it's no surprise that you always find the best times to get some shut-eye. I, too, would like a good day's rest. But tonight, it seems I won't be getting that, unfortunately." Kama said

"Zzz..."

"But I'm not here to talk about that. I hope to see what you like to imagine at night. Get a little sneak peek of what goes inside that head of yours. Maybe it's something interesting or desirable." Kama stated

"Zzz..."

"Do I think it's rude for me to barge into someone else space without their permission? Heh~ Why should a Goddess be told what to do and what not to do here? At this time, I will make the rules about whether you want to or not." Kama said

Sonic stirs in his sleep as he rubs his nose, and soon after, he switches positions. Kama stays quiet for a moment until she hears Sonic snoring once again.

"Alright, enough stalling. Let us start with the proceeding. What do you hide from us, Sonic? What are your true feelings towards us? Do you wish to keep these desires hidden forever? Don't worry; I won't say anything about your reputation. I bet you like to think differently than what you show." Kama proclaimed

Kama then begins to recreate Sonic's thoughts as she smiles and closes her eyes, waiting to see what Sonic thinks. Eventually, everything fades into white for a moment.

*Inside Sonic's Mind*

"I don't know how you did it, Sonic. But you managed to save their world entirely." Knuckles said

"It's been a long-fought battle, Knux. I'm finally happy knowing everyone can live peacefully now." Sonic replies

"And let's hope it finally stays like that forever. But if something else happens, we'll be there to help them out." Tails commented

"Like the way you think, Tails. Even if their world is finally saved, my journey is still far from over. Just because everything has been resolved doesn't mean it won't be like that forever. After all *look at His Command Seal* I can't break the bonds of those I met throughout my adventure. It wouldn't sit right with me just leaving them behind like that. I still want to help them in any way I can." Sonic stated

"No kidding, I never would have thought you'd meet that many people. Let alone powerful individuals under your Command." Knuckles said

"The idea of Commanding one's life is still something I don't view significantly. Everyone should be able to be free and express themselves however they see fit within reason, of course. I still have to watch those who like to cause a bit of trouble occasionally. But besides that, having freedom is more important than anything else." Sonic replies

"Sounds about right for you. So, what's next for you and Chaldea as a whole?" Tails questions

"We don't know what we're going to do now," Gudao said

"Just thinking hat our lives will go back to normal. Maybe return to our old lives before Chaldea." Gudako commented

"The fight must continue, little Tails. The war may have been won, but more battles await us." Artoria (Saber) said

Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Gudao, and Gudako turn around to see the hundreds of Servants standing before them.

"It's just one thing after another. Maybe catching a break wouldn't be harmful." Knuckles commented

"A break does sound nice. But we also can't slack off forever. Our world still needs its protectors." Mash assures.

"We owe a lot to Master and his friends for assisting us in saving our home. You all done so much for us without expecting anything in return." Murasaki stated

"Awww, come on, guys. I'm just doing what I love. I decide to help out in any way I can! You guys needed a world to save, so I came by and helped out. Went well as expected." Sonic replies

"And we shall return the favor for the work you've done this entire time," Avicebron said

"You have your world to take care of. That evil scientist still lurks in the dark, waiting to destroy this world and turn it into dystopia." Atalanta (Alter) said

"That's why we wish to help you keep this world safe from the Doctor. It's the best thing we can return after everything." Sieg suggest

"I mean, I wouldn't mind that. It'll be easier to take down Eggman's army with our army." Tails said

"That Eggman will soon be in for a treat when he comes and faces us again." Knuckles excited

"You guys are the greatest. As much as we're different, we still walk the same path for a better future. And that's what I love about you guys." Sonic stated

"Look alive, everyone! We're about to be in those season finale episodes where all the heroes and villains come together to team up and fight against a bigger threat! It Reminds me of when we did something similar back in Solomon." Blackbeard said

"So what happens from here on out, Master?" Salome asks

Suddenly, an explosion can be heard as everyone sees smoke entering the air.

"That must be the work of the Evil Scientist." Space Ishtar said

"Who else would it be?" Gudako said

"Heh~ *Stretches His Arms* Seems like it's our job to save the day again, everyone. Are you guys ready?" Sonic asks

The Servants took out their weapons, ready to fight Dr. Eggman and stop his antics again.

"Ready!" Everyone shouted

"Alright! Then let's do this!"

*Back To Reality*

Kama opens her eyes as she floats, speechless in her spot. She looks down at Sonic, who is still sleeping peacefully.

"..."

"Zzz..."

"*Continues To Look At Sonic Till She Puts A Hand On His Hand* Do not worry, Master. I'll make sure you get that outcome you desire the most... I won't let anything harm or prevent you from achieving your goals. As much as the cocky animal you are, I still highly respect you and your work. Continue doing what you know best. I'll always be there if you need me, Master. Soon, life will be as peaceful as you dream of." Kama assuring Sonic

"Zzz... K-Kama... Zzz..."

"Don't worry about a thing, Sonic. Remember, I'm always a call away. Don't think you're alone in this. We will fight together until victory is fulfilled. I promise." Kama stated
