Chapter 5 second Action / Undead Deer.
(Morning. 06:25am)
"What are you going to do about Miss Simian's report?" Darwin says as he brushes his teeth in the bathroom.
"I have no idea!" Gumball says as he dries his face with a towel. "I don't know whether to interview myself, interview someone else or give an interview."
"You'd better decide soon." Darwin fills his mouth with water and spits it out, finishing cleaning his teeth.
"I'll look into it later. Let's get to breakfast!" Gumball says, putting his towel away, and Darwin nods.
The two of them leave the bathroom and go up the stairs. They go into the dining room and sit down at the table with the others.
"Good morning!" Anais says, taking a pancake and eating it.
"Good morning." Gumball says, picking up a pancake. "Mom, I wanted to ask you something."
"Hm? Go ahead, honey." Nicole says, taking a small bottle of honey and putting it on her pancakes.
"When I went for my job interview, the owner told me he had a lot of respect for you. Do you know him?" Gumball asks.
"Hmm..." Nicole thinks. "This person is pale, wears glasses and has two angel wings around his head?" Nicole asks, wanting to be sure of the person.
"Yes, that's exactly what he looks like." Gumball says, confused by the description.
"Ahh... he's Saiko!" Nicole laughs lightly. "He's a distant cousin of my family."
"Saiko? He was your cousin?" Darwin asks while his mouth is full of pancakes.
"That explains why Gumball got the job so quickly." Anais says, finishing her pancakes.
"Hey!" Gumball says, slightly indignant.
"Anais, don't belittle your brother's work." Ricardo says as he eats his pancakes with honey (and a lot of honey).
"That's right! What I do is important." Gumball says, remembering the Undead he defeated.
"I know..." Anais says, getting off the chair and going to her room. "I'm going to get ready for school."
"We should go soon too." Gumball turns to Darwin, but he sees that his mouth is full of pancakes. "Man, do you have to be that greedy?"
"There's nothing for me to do, the pancakes Dad makes are really good!" Darwin says excitedly.
"Hoho I thank you very much! My little fish!" Ricardo says happily as he strokes Darwin's head.
"I think we'd better go soon!" Gumball says, getting up from the table and walking over to his parents. "Bye mom, bye dad!" Gumball kisses them both on the cheek and walks to the door.
"Bye too!" Darwin does the same and follows Gumball.
"How long are these cuddles going to last?" Nicole wonders as she sips a cup of coffee.
"Hopefully for a few more years!" Ricardo laughs lightly as he eats another pancake.

Gumball and Darwin are in front of their house, waiting for the bus that will take them to school to arrive.
"Have you decided what you're going to write in your report?" Darwin asks, turning to Gumball.
"Not yet..." Gumball looks both ways down the street, trying to see the bus, but he doesn't succeed
Gumball sees his neighbor coming out of his house to water the plants in his yard.
"Oh, hello Mr. Robinson!" Darwin says as he waves to the man.
"Hf..." Mr. Robinson just mumbles as he picks up the hose and turns it on to water the plants.
"He really doesn't like us." Gumball mutters, looking away in the opposite direction.
Luckily the bus arrives early today and the two boys quickly get on it and sit down in their seats.
"Go, Gumball!" Tobias says, approaching the boy. And let me do the interview with you!"
"No, man. And I don't even know if that's allowed." Gumball says to Tobias.
"What? If it's to interview someone who works there and you work there, then why can't we?" a boy in a yellow T-shirt says.
"João Banana, I'm a student too. And I don't know if this is considered cheating and if it could harm us." Gumball tries to explain.
"But that's better!" Carrie says, approaching the boy. "If we interview you, it'll be easier to get a high grade on this report."
"Carrie, but that wouldn't be right." Darwin says as he watches the ghost fly over him.
"Ouch, ouch. Darwin, as usual you're too neat!" Carrie laughs lightly as she walks back to her seat.
"But Darwin's right. That would be right." A boy with a flower on his head speaks up.
"Stop being a party pooper Leslie!" A random boy says.
"Guys, let's calm down a bit!" Penny says, trying to appease. "We'll talk to Miss Simian about interviewing Gumball."
The students murmur in annoyance. Gumball silently thanks Penny for getting him out of this.

"With these occurrences of this disease, the doctors of the time had to use this mask that you often call the "Raven Mask"" Miss Simian says, showing a slide of one of the doctors at the time of the bubonic plague.
"And why exactly did they have this huge beak?" A girl with bright green hair asks.
"They thought that the disease would be transmitted by smell, so they put sweet herbs with a softer, more pleasant smell to 'prevent' them from getting sick." Miss Simian explains.
"Wasn't it easier for them to take medicine or vaccinations?" Tobias asks with a raised eyebrow.
"Of course, because in a decade when medicine wasn't even that advanced, you'd want to avoid a deadly disease just by taking herbs and sleeping?" Masami says, slightly mocking Tobias.
The whole room starts laughing at Tobias, while he gets a little annoyed at Masami's sarcasm.
"Enough of this nonsense!" Miss Simian says, drawing the room's attention. "You remember about the visit to B.O.A.R.D, don't you?"
The room shakes, with some students giving a sadistic smile as they look at Gumball.
"And interviewing Gumball is forbidden." Miss Simian says coldly.
"WHAT!" Most of the class shout in annoyance.
"Why not?" A girl with orange hair, horns and sharp teeth (Jamie Russo) says a little annoyed.
"As Darwin said before, that would be cheating." The girl with green, spiky hair (Carmen Verde) says to Jamie.
"That's right. Besides, the visit will take place in three days' time." Miss Simian says. "And anyone who ignores that and still tries to interview Gumball will be suspended for a month."
"Come on!" Toma shouts in disbelief.

"I still can't believe it!" Carrie says angrily as she grabs her morning snack in the cafeteria.
"What are you angry about, Carrie?" Darwin says as he follows the ghost.
"Because if I were to interview Gumball it would be too easy!" Carrie sighs. "He'd just talk a lot of garbage and it would make my report a lot easier." Carrie starts walking to a table.
"But, Carrie. Doesn't that mean we should do our best on this report?" Darwin speaks with his usual innocence.
"Ouch, ouch! Darwin..." Carrie smiles slightly. "You're still a cute, innocent boy!"
"Oh, thanks..." Darwin looks away a little embarrassed.
[...]
"And what do you intend to do, Gumball?" Banana Joe says as he eats his snack.
"I think I'm going to interview my superior." Gumball says as he eats his peanut butter sandwich.
"And what would your superior be?" Carmen asks as she sits down with the two of them.
"Oh, her name is Carol Purdlert. And he's pretty cool, yeah-" Gamball says, but feels his cell phone ring in his pocket.
"Who is it?" Banana Joe asks.
"It must be my mom..." Gumball picks up his cell phone and sees Carol's number on it. "Hm? Hello?"
"Gumball! Bone-awful!" Carol says nervously into the phone.
"What do you mean? Do you have another one?" Gumball asks with undivided attention.
"Yes, but it's even worse!" Carol says nervously. Carol says nervously. "He's going to school!"
"What do you mean?!" Gumball asks nervously, but he hears a thud nearby.
"What was that?" Carmen says, sounding nervous.
"Get down!" Gumball shouts as another bang comes and the wall of the cafeteria is destroyed.
The students who were in the cafeteria throw themselves to the ground as the wall is destroyed. With a creature resembling a humanoid deer entering the cafeteria.
"What is that?" Banana Joe asks frightened.
"Run, now!" Gumball shouts and the students start to move away.
"It's one of those monsters!" Tobias says as he picks up his cell phone to record.
"Guys, let's get out this way!" Penny shouts, indicating the emergency exit.
The students start running as the Undead deer watches them run. The students cross the corridors while Gumball goes to the emergency sign and pulls it, causing the sign to ring and everyone to leave their classrooms.
"What's going on?!" Principal Brown says, coming out of his office slightly annoyed.
Director Brown asks before seeing a strange creature walk towards them. The Undead gives a growl before its horns light up and it hurls bursts of lightning at the students.
Luckily they all duck and manage to avoid the lightning.
"Everyone out, now!" Principal Brawn says as he leads the sentinels of students out of the school.
Gumball runs with the crowd while trying to find a loophole to transform himself. He manages to get out of the crowd and into the restroom.
"I hope there's no one there!" Gumball checks each booth to make sure he's alone. "Great!"
Gumball picks up his Driver and puts in his Change card. Dropping the Driver, which starts flying around him while making a path of red cards. Clinging to Gumball's waist, she strikes her pose and speaks with her strength. "HENSHIN!" Gumball pulls the lever, causing the symbol of swords to appear and the Driver to say "Turn-Up!" A huge blue card appears in front of Gumball, and he runs through it. Causing his Rider armor to appear and him to become Kamen Rider Blade.

"Don't despair and come this way!" Little Lord says, leading the students out of the school.
"Gumball! Gumball!" Darwin shouts worriedly, trying to find his brother in the crowd of students. "Gumball! Where are you!"
Most of the students manage to get out of the school, but the Undead Deer catches up with them.
"Grrrr..." The Undead growls as it walks up to the students. With its horns lighting up, it prepares another shot of electricity.
"Not that one..." Darwin mutters in shock as he sees his end coming.
But before the Undead can fire its blast of electricity, a wall near the Undead is shattered. And everyone sees a figure coming out of it.
"Blade!" Darwin says with mixed emotions.
"That's him!" A nerdy student says as he takes out his cell phone to record and make a live video.
Blade lands on the ground and punches the Undead in the face, making it stagger a little. Blade grabs the Undead's neck and presses him against the lockers, punching him in the face with punch after punch.
The Undead gets angry and energizes its body. It unleashes a small wave of electricity that knocks Blade back a few meters. Blade falls to the ground and sees that there are still students nearby, and Darwin is there.
"Run! Now!" Blade shouts to the students, getting up and grabbing his Blay Rouzer. Drawing his sword, he lunges at the Undead.
"You're crazy! This is going to go viral!" The nerdy student says as he continues recording.
"Hmm..." Darwin is a little startled, but decides to obey Blade. "Let's go!"
Darwin manages to drag everyone out of the school with great difficulty.
[...]
Most of the students are outside the school. Most of them are scared, while some are excited to see Blade in action.
"Guys, where's Darwin and Gumball?!" Penny says worriedly.
"There are still some students missing, they must still be inside!" Masami says, looking at the school with concern on his face.
"They're still in there with that monster!" Tobias says as they all feel a bang from inside the school.
They are surprised to see Darwin and some of the students coming out of the doors.
"*Cough* Is everyone here? *Cough*" Darwin looks a little dizzy because of what's happened.
"Darwin!" Penny shouts, going over to the boy. "Are you all right? Are you hurt?"
"I'm fine! But where's Gumball?" Darwin says worriedly as he tries to find Gumball among the crowd of students.
The students hear another bang and try to duck for cover. A window is smashed, with Blade and the Undead falling out of the school. Blade falls to the ground on his ass, while the Undead lands on its feet. The Blay Rouzer flies away from Blade and crashes to the ground near Darwin, scaring the boy.
"Ahh... and it's only my second day..." Blade groans as he gets up and positions himself to face the Undead.
"They're going to fight!" A girl in the crowd shouts, making everyone cheer for Blade.
"What?!" Blade looks at the crowd confused and surprised. "Get out of here! Now!" Blade shouts, but the Undead runs up to Blade and punches him in the chest.
Blade gasps, but returns the punch in kind. The two start exchanging punches, while the students watch and some record the fight.
"This fight is really good!" An anime speaks while recording the fight between Blade and the Undead.
Blade keeps punching the Undead, until it manages to hold on to his fist. Blade tries to punch him again to free his fist, but the Undead uses his electric attacks to push Blade away.
Blade rolls across the floor away from the Undead with one knee on the ground and his body resting on the other.
"Hey!" Darwin shouts, drawing Blade's attention. "Get it!" Darwin picks up the Blay Rouzer. He feels it's too heavy, but he manages to throw it at Blade. Dawrn doesn't really know, but he thinks his brother will be safer if he does this.
Blade quickly picks up the Blay Rouzer and opens it, taking out a card and running it through the scanner. "SLASH!" The card turns blue and is absorbed by Blade, running up to the Undead the Blay Rouzer's blade lights up. The Undead lights up its horns to fire its electric attacks at Blade, but he throws himself to the ground, sliding with his legs bent, turning his body he uses his sword to slash the Undead's belly.
The Undead shudders, holding its belly it moves away. Aiming at Blade, he prepares another attack, but another burst of electricity hits him.
Everyone turns and sees Masami with his eyes glazing over as tiny electric sparks surround his body.
"Masami..." Blade mutters before running back to the Undead and continuing to hit him with his sword.
"Masami!" The students scream when they see the girl fall to the ground and run over to her.
"Sorry, guys! I'm just a bit tired." Masami says, getting up from the ground.
The students turn to Blade, who continues to attack the Undead with his sword. Blade delivers a sideways slash to the Undead's chest, causing it to back away a little.
"This is it!" Blade says before opening his Blay Rouzer and taking out a card.
Blade passes the card through the scanner. "KICK!" Blade raises his Blay Rouzer and drives the blade into the ground, preparing himself, he leaps towards the Undead. Twisting his body in the air, he stands upright and extends his foot for a kick. Hitting the Undead, he jumps back to the ground and a small explosion hits the Undead. It falls to the ground and its belt opens, Blade goes back to the Blay Rouzer and picks up a card, throwing it at the Undead it starts to get sucked into the card, and soon the card is back in Blade's hand.
"Whew... that's it..." Blade sighs before noticing the students coming towards him.
"Hey, hey, you're the new hero Blade, aren't you?" A student says excitedly and happily.
"Give me an interview, please!" A girl begs.
"How did you get your powers! How did you make that creature go inside the letter?!" A student says looking extremely happy.
Blade feels dizzy because of the battle and the students' abundant questions.
"Sorry, but I have to go!" Blade says goodbye, running down the sidewalk faster than the students can catch up with him.
[...]
"Masami!" Masami's mother shouts, running up to her and hugging her.
"I'm fine, Mom. I'm just a bit tired..." Masami says, feeling the tightness of her mother's embrace.
The fathers and mothers of the students appear to stand by and comfort them. Everyone was worried about the creature and Blade in action.
"So this creature appeared and destroyed some walls, right?" A policeman says as he makes a note on a piece of paper.
"Yes, that's right." Director Brawn says to the policeman. "And this new 'Hero' also showed up here and defeated this strange creature."
The director and the policeman talk for a while longer until everything calms down.
"Darwin!" Nicole says nervously, getting out of the car with Anais and running over to the boy to hug him. "Where's Gumball!?"
"I don't know..." Darwin says nervously, looking away from Nicole.
"He's over there!" Anais points to the school entrance.
Gumball comes out of the entrance looking exhausted and bruised. Nicole runs up to him and hugs him very tightly.
"Ow, ow! Mom! Hold on!" Gumball groans in pain from the hug.
"Where were you?" Nicole asks worriedly, looking at her son's bruises.
"I hid in a closet, but I don't think it was a very good hiding place!" Gumball laughs lightly, but notices his mother's worried face. "I'm sorry... I didn't mean to worry you."
"No..." Nicole hugs Gumball again. "You're here, and you're fine..."

Note: An Undead invading the school, destruction imminent, parents worried. That's the way it is, when their children go through a near-death experience, they really worry. If you don't understand the attacks and the cards the Riders will use in the future, I suggest you do a search on Youtube. For example "Kamen Rider Blade all cards."
