Young Hedgehog (Part 4)
*The Next Day, Da Vinci's Workshop*
The day has arrived, and everyone is eagerly waiting for Da Vinci to finish the potion for Sonic so he can get back to Noamrl. Sonic, Mash, Gudao, Gudako, and the children waited as Da Vinci was inside the other room doing some finishing touches to the potion.
"Today's the day, Senpai. You'll be back to your old self very soon." Mash assures
Sonic sighed in relief, knowing that his days of being young were ending. Meanwhile, the kids were
"I'm so relieved that everything will return to normal soon enough... Let this be a lesson for us not to mess with anything more." Illya stated
"But what is everyone else going to say about this? They still don't realize that we caused all of this." Abigail said
"Big Brother will talk to everyone about it later to prevent any of them from killing us outright," Miyu replies
"You're quite lucky you have a kind Master like Sonic himself. I guarantee that other Masters wouldn't have let this slide easily." Gudao said
"We might've grounded you if you pulled something off like this to us if we were your Master. I didn't wish to see anyone see me when I was young. *Shivers* don't feel right..." Gudako commented
"I just want everything to be set and done so we can move on. Have everything returned to how they were, you know what I mean?" Alexander said
"I know what you mean. Don't worry; it'll be all over soon." Kid Gil replies
"Da Vinci could be finished at any moment. We're just playing the waiting game at this point." Mash said
"Before everything, I just want to apologize again, Big Brother... I truly am... What I did was dumb and never should've happened. I hope you take my apology as genuine. I know I have a bad history, but I am truly sorry again here... I promise never to do such a thing again." Chloe apologizing again
Sonic smiles as he pats Chloe on the head. She smiles and hugs him again, and Sonic hugs him in return. They hug for a bit before separating. The two fist bump soon after. Minutes pass, and finally, Da Vinci is done. She exits the room and shows everyone the potion she is holding in her hands.
"Ta-da! And here it is! The undoing potion of age! I should probably rename it to something better, but that's a discussion for a different day. The matter is that the potion is ready to be used." Da Vinci stated
"Finally! It's ready to be used on Big Brother!" Eliza excited
"Let's just get this over with; we want to see Senpai in his old cocky attitude self again," Erice stated
"Hold on there for a second. Are we sure this is going to work? You made this under a day without so as much as testing it. You think this is going to help Sonic?" Bunyan asks
"When it comes to Humanity's last Master. I'm always there to be on his side. Isn't that right, Sonic?" Da Vinci asks
Sonic looks at Da Vinci and shrugs slightly. Da Vinci is somewhat taken aback while Gudao and Gudako giggle behind her.
"Sometimes, your decision can be questionable. Despite your intelligence, you can come up with some out-of-pocket ideas every once in a while." Gudao explains
"Well, it's just my mind that wishes to explore and learn new things here and there. So, I get you'll think that way. But I digress; we're here to help Sonic, and that's all that matters. So, are you ready, Sonic The Hedgehog?" Da Vinci asks
Sonic nods as he takes the potion from Da Vinci's hands and drinks it while the others watch anxiously. After hugging the whole liquid down his throat and burping after that, a giant wall of smoke burst in the middle of the room, covering Sonic as everyone else around covered their mouths while also coughing.
"*Coughing* She didn't warn us about that..." Bunyan commented
"One of the side-effects, mind you." Da Vinci replies
"Oh, thanks for telling us right after it happened..." Abigail stated
"D-Did it work?" Voyager asks
"I-I don't know... I can't see anything from the smoke covering the whole place." Erice replies
"Wow! Man, it feels great to talk once more! I sure don't miss that part when I was young." Sonic exclaimed
Everyone stared as a prominent figure appeared inside the smoke cloud and walked out, revealing that Sonic was back in his original form. Everyone gasped as Sonic smirked and waggled his finger.
"What's with the shocked expression, guys? It's just me, Sonic the Hedgehog. Just a regular Hedgehog who likes to run." Sonic said
"SONIC!"
The children all ran towards Sonic and hugged him simultaneously around him; he was laughing as they all hugged him with excitement on their faces. Sonic patting every single one of them in the back.
"Hehe! Hey there, kids. It's good to be in my old form. I'll tell you, I had quite the experience in your young body." Sonic stated
"You're finally back to normal, Senpai! It's a miracle that the potion worked!" Erice excited
"We miss you this way! The way we all know you for!" Voyager said
"It's all finally over; now we don't have to worry about you being young anymore. You're better the way you are!" Jack stated
"Hehe~ It's great to be back to normal, kids. I will admit, you guys caught me by surprise doing that stunt on me. I'll at least give you kids credit for that." Sonic said
"We're so sorry all of this happened in the first place... We didn't mean to do this on purpose..." Illya apologizing
"We were just bored and came by Da Vinci's workshop to see what we could use for some fun activities, and we happened to pass by the test tubes that she had here," Abigail said
"Ah-Ha! I knew someone was in here when I returned to my workshop that day! I thought I was going crazy seeing everything moved around. That also includes one of the test tubes that went missing on the table counter. I thought I left it somewhere and must've forgotten where I put it before Holmes showed me it. I was going coo-coo on the head at the moment!" Da Vinci said
"Yeah... All of that, from start to finish, was our fault. Sonic, please forgive us for everything! EVERYTHING, we are sorry. We truly are..." Miyu apologizing profusely
"Kids... I forgive every single one of you. That means you as well, Chloe. But I will say one thing: I hope you'll remember this. I will let this whole ordeal slide and pretend like this never happened. However, if this happens to me again or anyone else here on that matter. I might have to start throwing punishments now. I'm letting you off the hook right now, but I may have to put my foot down the next time something like this happens again. Do you understand kids? I'm not doing this because I don't like you; I'm only doing this as a lesson so as not to do it again the next time. Do you all understand?" Sonic explains
"Yes, Master!" All The Children shouted
"Good, that's all I needed to hear from you. With that settled, I need to talk to the rest about what happened and how everything between us has finally been settled. I don't wish to start any more problems right now." Sonic said
"What about the female Servants that were hogging you while you were in your young self? What are you going to do with them?" Alexander questions
"Ugh... Why did you bring that up... That was possibly the worst experience I have ever had the displeasure of going through... Especially with both Atalantas... Now I understand how you all feel when they are around..." Sonic stated
"She can be... something when she's around us... We're used to it." Nursery Rhyme comments
"Right... Alright, I'll talk with everyone a bit later. Right now, I wanna rest after everything." Sonic said
"Welcome back, Senpai. Hope you had a great time being young again." Mash said
"It was an experience, alright... Let's hope this doesn't happen again. You may need to put your stuff in a much better place for next time, Da Vinci." Sonic commented
"Noted. Anyway, now that everything is settled. How about-"
"NO!" Everyone shouted
"W-What?! You didn't even let me say what I would say!" Da Vinci exclaimed
"You want us to be one of your test monkeys for another of your crazy ideas, right?" Gudao questions
"No..."
"Hehe~ That's Da Vinci for you guys. Anyway, shall we get going, everyone? I can go for some breakfast right now." Sonic commented
"YEAH!"
