Chapter 45: Ballad of Dreams
Naugus takes his team and his army to head for the hidden city of Albion in the far north. The old wizard is excited that his dream is getting close to reality. "My army is almost close," Naugus said as he was on the main deck of the Egg Carrier MK2 to see a mountain that houses the entrance of the city.
"Must be underground," Infinite said as both of them teleported onto the mountaintop for them to keep going down the rocky path. Soon enough they find a cave entrance to go inside and go through twisting hallways of rock until they find a weird door.
"How interesting," Naugus uses his Chaos energy to wave the door open to reveal a beautiful sight of a huge underground city of Echidna design buried within the massive cavern. "This is it, the lost echidna city of Albion. We have finally found it. Time to find the vault," Naugus said as they teleported within the central square of the city for it was in ruins.
"This place has not been touched for ages," Infinite said.
"Well, the age of the echidnas was quite bloody back then even in this world," Naugus said as they walked towards a certain building which has the vault he was seeking. "The Onyx Horde is beyond these doors but there is a field preventing me from teleporting inside," he said as Infinite looked over to see 7 slots in the door.
"Emeralds are needed to open to door and dispel the protective field," Infinite said.
"Yes, and that is why we seek the emeralds. I don't need their power, just keys I need to secure me the army to conquer my world," Naugus said.
"Then what is the energy you need to power all up?" Infinite asked.
"Easy, the Planet Egg of this world. I managed to get a rough location of it and once I secure this place. I will go fetch it and merge with it to be all-powerful," Naugus said.
"Planet Egg, that is the stone that contains all the life energy of this world including holding the powers of Dark Gaia and Light Gaia," Infinite said.
"Of course, we got work to do. Tracking down the last emerald and gaining the other emeralds those people stole from me," Naugus said as
Within Tails' Workshop, Cosmo is relaxing outside on top of the roof only wearing a one-piece bathing suit to enjoy the sunlight feeding her skin. "This is so nice," Cosmo said as she wanted to look pretty for Tails since he has been working a lot lately.
Tails is working with Nicole on a new project as he has the two Chaos Emeralds locked in a safe underneath his home. "This is getting serious, Naugus has more emeralds than we do and the last one is with Snively Robotnik," Tails said.
"He is very dangerous and his rule over the Dragon Empire is very concerning. Tons of protestors are breaking out into the streets but are suppressed by his Swat Bot units," Nicole said as she brought up the Swat Bot units.
"Eggman's robots were a bit goofy but scary quite fitting for him for Snively's robots are cold and ruthless like he is but none of his uncle's flair," Tails said as he looked at a video on his screen of a protest taking place on the streets within the Dragon Empire's capital city. A group of Swat Bots gunned down the defenseless citizens.
"Tails, you still working?" Cosmo asked.
"Oh yes Cosmo, I am," Tails said as he turned around to lay onto Cosmo who gave him a pleasant surprise.
"What do you think about my bathing suit Tails?" she asked as it was a pretty blue frilly one-piece fitting her new adult form's womanly body.
"Well, you look lovely," Tails said as she blushed from the beautiful sight of his exotic girlfriend for Cosmo had a big smile on her face.
"Oh, thank you, I wanted us to enjoy some free time. Mina helped this out for me, so we both can go to the beach sometime," Cosmo said.
"Oh, I would like that. Let me go set something up, you, me, and Nicole can go outside and enjoy the sun," Tails said as Cosmo clapped her hands to feel excited about this.
"This is so cool, thanks Tails," Cosmo said as she went up and kissed him on the lips getting Tails flustered with Cosmo giggling at his cuteness. "It's going to be so much fun," Cosmo said.
"Mina picked it up, good taste. I wonder what she and Sonic are doing now?" Tails wondered.
"She and Sonic are going to the Kingdom Of Acorn with Mina performing a concert for the young Princess Alexis," Nicole said.
"Hope they have a good time. I would like to show Cosmo my old village on Westside Island," Tails said as Nicole monitored the status with the Dragon Kingdom.
Elsewhere Sonic and Mina go to Mobotropolis to stay in the guest area of the castle with Alexis's birthday coming up within several hours. The couple head outside to be within the city which has recovered from the attack from Sally's rebel forces.
"What a beautiful city, it's great that they managed to rebuild here," Mina said as she saw holographic billboards and flying talking about Princess Alexis' 6th birthday with the well-known Songoose aka Mina Mongoose doing a live performance for the princess and the crowd.
"Yeah, it's a good thing to see and everyone is in a good mood with the royal birthday party," Sonic said.
"Yes, the little one is going to be so excited about this. I am so hyped to deliver a wonderful experience for everyone including little Alexis," Mina said as banners flew in the air to show the citizens the date of Alexis's birthday.
"After all that mess, we need a break. Starline and his minions are gone now," Sonic said.
"Yeah, but those two Surge and Kit were warped into evil by that vile Doctor. At least that's one group of people out of the picture. I hope Mighty and Matilda are doing well," Mina said.
"Mighty is a tough cookie, he will manage with his sister," Sonic said.
"I wonder where Clove and Cassia are now?" Mina wondered as Sonic noticed a green-furred deer Mobian along with a young green deer Mobian looking at some hats.
"Speaking of which," Sonic said as he pointed Mina to the two sisters for Mina was surprised by this.
"Clove and Cassia, hey there," Mina waves to them for the two sisters to greet them.
"Hello there, didn't expect you here but I did see your flyer the Songoose being posted," a 19-year-old Clove said as she was sporting a basic white dress fitting her slender frame and grey knee-high boots. Mina noticed her robotic arm had returned but had been upgraded greatly.
"I can't wait to see you perform Miss Mina," the young 13-year-old Cassia said as she was only wearing a yellow blouse, white pants, and black sneakers. She is still sporting cybernetic eyes but has been upgraded.
"Oh, you will have a good time. Sweetie," Mina said.
'What are you two doing here?" Sonic asked.
"After what happened with GUN, we got fitted with new cybernetics and ditched Starline's old trash. Then we got pointed to the Kingdom Of Acorn where we got put into Elias's new team," Clove said as the duo was surprised by this.
"Seriously?" Mina asked.
"Yes, Elias wants to make a team that will protect the Kingdom of Acorn's interests with him leading this team called Team Freedom. It includes me, Cassia, Rotor, and the king himself," Clove said.
"Wow, good thing you two are on our side," Sonic said.
"Yeah, it would be nice to work together with you two," Mina said as Clove showed a reserved smile.
"I would like that and thanks again for your mercy. We will not forget it," Clove said as she heard Rotor's voice on her comlink.
"Clove, we need your defense detail. We need to practice the routes so the birthday goes off without a hitch," Rotor said.
"Of course, we must prepare for the celebration. See you both soon," Clove said.
"I will see you on stage Mina, can't wait for you to perform," Cassia said as the sisters went off with Mina finding Cassia so cute.
"I hope I don't disappoint her," Mina said.
"You always slam it out of the park Mina, she will have a kick out of it," Sonic said.
"Yes, she will. Come over here Sonic, I saw a cute little muffin shop we can eat breakfast at," Mina said as she dragged him along to head for the muffin shop. This place is a small local shop with the scent of pastry filling up the air.
"Smells so good," Sonic said as the smells tickled his nose for Mina was enjoying the various smells to see a ton of muffin choices on display.
"Let's see," Mina said as she picks up a pumpkin spice muffin while Sonic grabs a blueberry muffin. Both grab some citrus juice to go along with their tasty muffins. They sit outside to be at a table to begin eating their breakfast.
"Oh boy, this is so good," Mina's mouth is watering from this delicious dish as she bites into it.
"Yep, this is popping in my mouth," Sonic said as he observed his girlfriend who looks very pretty today. "You are looking pretty cute today," he said as she was sporting a simple blue sundress which is fitting her curvy hourglass figure.
"Thanks, sweetheart but I got a new cheongsam which I think you will be very impressed with," Mina said as she was getting giddy to see the look on Sonic's face not allowing his eyes to look away from her radiant beauty.
"You look good in anything, to be honest," Sonic said as he bit into his muffin.
"So sweet," she reaches over and taps his nose playfully. "Another show, hey remember when I was doing my first show in the café you recommended?" she asked.
"Oh yeah, I and Tails checked you out there just before Chaos showed back up again," Sonic said.
'I remember I was so nervous. After my breakup with Ash, I was a shy mess and afterward, it got worse. I can't be able to do shows like before but you managed to make me summon the courage to do my show and get my career back on track," Mina said.
"Hey, you had it in you the whole time. All I did was give you a push," Sonic said as Mina looked down at her drink to blush at the sweet memory of her on stage and confessing her feelings to him through song.
"Yes you did, I got my career and the guy of my dreams. The best day of my life," Mina said as she remembered the day of her stage premiere.
-Flashback Begins-
Within the café in Station Square, 15-year-old Mina Mongoose going by her stage name Songoose is on stage wearing her Songoose outfit to tap her boot on the wooden stage. The lights shine onto her with humans in the café waiting for her to perform as Sonic and Tails are in the crowd waiting for her to sing.
"Mina looks nervous up there," Tails said as Sonic had faith in her to do well.
"I know she can do it, hopefully, nothing ruins it," Sonic said as Eggman and Chaos were nowhere to be found.
"I mean after the Egg Carrier crashed into the ocean. GUN was all over it but no signs of Eggman or Chaos anywhere," Tails said as he was kind of worried for he just defeated Dr. Robotnik in his Egg Walker and saved Station Square.
"Well, good riddance. We need a well-deserved vacation and listen to Mina's pretty voice," Sonic said as Tails raised his eyebrows.
"You are totally crushing on Mina huh?" Tails tease him as Sonic is glowing red in the face.
"She is quite pretty and I have been talking with her on the phone. She is very cool to be with. Hope Amy isn't here," Sonic said.
"Yep, Amy would flip out if she finds out you got a new girlfriend," Tails said.
"Yeah, I got to date her after this. It'll be fun," Sonic said.
"I am so nervous. Can't let them see you like this. Just smile and relax. Come on, Mina-Girl speak," Mina looks at all the humans within the café looking at her waiting for her to say something. "Hi everybody. I am Songoose and this is my first time being in front of so many people," Mina said her heart beating pretty fast.
"What did she say she would do for a song?" Tails asked.
"She didn't," Sonic said as Tails was concerned by this.
"What song is she going to sing?' Tails asked as Mina was freezing up from stage fright. Her experiences with Ash shook up her confidence in her music.
"I haven't said anything since I last spoke. Mina-Girl, tell them what you're going to sing. What am I going to sing?" Mina's mind is filled with confusion and doubt. She looks out into the crowd for they are impatient.
"No, I am freezing up. My throat is getting dry. Please help," Mina said as she grabbed onto her chest to feel her heart was about to explode.
"Come on Mina, you can do this," Sonic said with a cocky smile that melts her heart and courage swelled in her chest.
"Sonic believes in me. If he believes in me, I should too. I will not let him down and I am going to blow his mind," Mina said as Sonic noticed her face going from nervous to confident.
"Wow," Sonic said as her big green eyes were focused and had a calm look on her face.
"Boys hit that music, I am going in," Mina said as her custom music blazes for it sets up the mood. She pulls up the mic near her lips as she taps her foot on the wood to get into the swing of things.
"I was trapped inside for so very long. How could things turn out so wrong? You came along, to save the day. I knew that it would be okay. My knight in shining armor came. My life would never be the same!" Mina finds her voice with the crowd becoming more involved and getting hyped by this cute mongoose girl dancing on stage.
"Damn, her voice is amazing," Sonic thought as her voice is hitting his heart deeply for it has a soothing effect that put him at ease.
"Cause you're my hero, you came to rescue me! And now you've set me free. There's so much, that I want to make you see!" Mina's voice sours with the people getting engaged with her music.
"I love this song," a human girl said.
"Hey, she sings it pretty well," a human male said.
"That's because she is good," another human woman said.
"You're my hero, Don't ever let me go! I just want you to know, There's so much inside and I want to let it show!" Mina is getting so into the music she is in her world.
"Hey, I like her," Tails said.
"I like her too, Tails," Sonic said as she liked her but in a different way.
"And now I owe, so much to you. Is there anything that I can do? I want to show you that I care. When you need me I'll be there! I hope that you don't go away, I'll always wish that you would stay!" Mina can see Sonic watching her having a smile on his face. "Please watch me, this is all for you and how I feel about you," she thought.
The humans were recording her stage performance on their smartphones to see a cute animal girl dancing and singing her heart out.
"Cause you're my hero, You came to rescue me! And now you've set me free. There's so much, that I want to make you see!" Mina is singing at full blast with the crowd enjoying her performance.
"Just look at her Tails. She is getting into it on stage. I can pick them or what?" Sonic asked.
"Well, you seem to be picking people who have great talent," Tails said.
"I know she got super speed. It's not as fast as my own but with some training, she can be a good ally against Eggman," Sonic said.
"Good idea, just something more you two have in common," Tails said as Sonic was truly dazed by Mina's voice, beauty, and bright energy to made her truly interesting to Sonic.
"You're my hero, don't ever let me go! I just want you to know. There's so much inside and I want to let it show! Cause you're my hero. You came to rescue me! And now you've set me free, There's so much, that I want to make you see! You're my hero, Don't ever let me go! I just want you to know, there's so much inside and I want to let it show!" Mina pushes to the final verses and ends her song with the crowd roaring with excitement.
"Thank you so much, everyone. I am happy to perform for you all today," Mina said taking a humble bow as she looked over to see Sonic giving her a thumbs up.
"I knew you could do it, Mina," Sonic said as Mina rushed over to him to give him a big hug out of impulse.
"I did it and it's all because of you," Mina said to give him a warm embrace for Sonic goes into it wholeheartedly.
"It's all on you, I just gave you a push," Sonic said as Mina looked up into his big green eyes with her heart feeling whole.
"Sonic, that song is called You're My Hero and it's based on how I feel about you. You were the shining light in my dark days and always my favorite person who kept me going further," Mina said as she blushed in the face to expose her true feelings for him through her song.
"Mina, I am touched by that. Thanks," Sonic said as he was blushing as well.
"It's now or never," Mina thought. "Sonic, I liked you for so long. I want to know if you can be my boyfriend?" Mina asked to be very nervous not sure what he would say. "Please say yes," she said within her mind as she was very vulnerable.
"Sure, let's go out on a date soon," Sonic said with her beautiful voice along with other reasons sealing the deal for him as Mina felt her heart swelling with happiness.
"Oh really; pinch me I am dreaming," Mina said as Sonic jokingly did that and made her flinch. "Ouch," she said.
"You asked for it," Sonic said as he and Tails laughed with Mina going along with it.
"I can't believe it; we are together now. I will not disappoint Sonic," Mina hugs him again for Sonic returns it for them to be in an embrace.
"Oh Sonic!" a familiar voice said as Tails looked over to see a cute pink hedgehog in a red dress at the door.
"Sonic, Amy is here," Tails said as Sonic straightened up to turn around to see Amy's once-happy face transform into a dreadful expression. She is seeing a pretty mongoose girl hugging her man.
"Sonic, who is this big, boobed hussy?" Amy demanded as she looked over to see her outfit shows she had a developed body compared to her thin frame.
"Big, boobed hussy?" Mina wondered as Amy was very jealous right now.
"Oh Amy, this is Mina Mongoose who I met before coming to Station Square," Sonic said.
"Why are you embracing her?" Amy demanded as Mina came in to put on a brave face.
"I am his girlfriend, we going to set up a date later," Mina said as Amy was speechless by this.
"A date and you hooked up with him. I have been asking you out for a while now," Amy said.
"Amy, I like you but only as a friend beside you are too young for me," Sonic said as Amy was angry at this.
"Too young, this girl you like because she got a big rack," Amy said.
"That's not the only reason why I like her Amy," Sonic said as Mina went up to her to approach her with a smile.
"Hello, I am Mina Mongoose. You are Sonic's friend Amy. You are so adorable; I like your dress. Where did you get it?" she asked Amy who was confused by this.
"You think I am adorable," Amy likes the thoughtful comment but she snaps back to be angry with them. "No, I am supposed to be angry but you are being nice to me. This is not supposed to work like that," Amy said to be confused with her feelings for Mina as this mongoose girl is being friendly with her.
"Come on Mina, let's run out of here," Sonic said as they both got out of the café to leave Amy and Tails behind.
"Oh shoot, he got away again and now he has a girlfriend. What is so special about her?" Amy questioned as Tails saw the look on Sonic's face when watching Mina exposing her feelings for him within a song.
"If you were here when Mina was singing, it's pretty easy to see why," Tails said as Amy felt sad about it.
"Oh Sonic, he picked her huh," Amy said as the speedy duo headed into the nearby forest to escape Amy.
"Oh boy, I think that is far enough," Sonic said as he looked over to see Mina on the grass being very out of breath.
"Oh goodness, my lungs are on fire. I never ran that fast and far before," Mina said as Sonic helped her up.
"I need to work on your speed and stamina if you are going to hang out with me. You need some exercise to perfect your speed," Sonic said as Mina felt determined to please him and herself.
"Okay, I can do that. I want to help you out any way I can," Mina said as both of them are now a couple, and their fates are intertwined with each other.

Mina is deep in her memories to remember she got with Sonic and it was her song that won him over. "Yeah, your voice is beautiful. It soothes my soul and then I had to be with you babe," he said with a cocky smile that always hit Mina hard.
"Goodness, this man is so good to me," she thought as she finished her muffin to drink it down with her citrus juice. "Like a siren singing to her man and hooking him into her embrace," Mina said.
"Yep, you hooked me in like a fish to bait," Sonic joked as Mina laughed with him finishing his meal.
"Come on honey, let's get back and get ready for the big event," Mina said as they headed for the castle for the main event was about to happen.
Meanwhile, night has come with the kingdom celebrating the princess's birthday King Elias has set up a dinner ball within the halls of the palace for the military brass, royal knights and the social elite of the kingdom are there.
Sonic is wearing a black tuxedo which fits his lean build waiting for his girlfriend to get into her dress. "When are you going to be finished?" he asked by the door.
"In a minute, my love," Mina said as she checked her gown to smile in the mirror. She goes out of the door to give him a little spin. "How do I look?" she asked in a flirty tone.
"Beautiful as ever," Sonic said having his eyes on her flowing dark blue qipao which has a sliver phoenix design on the front, a skirt that flows to her knees, and short sleeves. The dress is shaped around her wonderfully shaped figure while wearing a pair of black shoes, knee-high white silk socks, and matching colored bridal gloves. Her hair was tied in a high ponytail making her look pretty classy.
"Eyes up here, big boy," Mina said as she noticed him looking down at her large chest sticking out against her formfitting dress.
"Can you blame me, come on," he said as he circled his arm around hers to take her through the castle.
"You look very handsome," Mina said as she rubbed her fingers through his quills.
"Thanks, I am sharp as usual," Sonic sounded pretty confident about it. "You are going to be the most beautiful lady there," Sonic said to charm her as this always works against her.
"I would look good not to make us look weird against all the nobles coming here," Mina said.
"You are better than some stuffy rich lady," Sonic said.
"Thanks," Mina said as they came into the main hall to see all the elites of the kingdom in one space while the commoners were doing some events outside the grounds. "Very fancy here," she said as she saw Megan and the birthday girl herself coming to them.
'Wow Mina, you look so mature and nice," Alexis said to comment on how pretty Mina's dress was.
"Thanks, little one. This is a cheongsam which is a traditional garb from my homeland in Yurashia," Mina said.
"Is that where the cool ninja clans came from?" she asked.
"Yes, they help in the defense of the region," Mina said.
"That is so cool, I want to see it," Alexis said.
"You will when you are older, I'm thankful you two are here. Alexis here is pretty excited to hear you sing Mina," Megan said.
"Yes, I have quite a bit of younger fans who like me. I need to be on point to not disappoint them," Mina said.
"Well take a look around before you go on stage," Megan said as now she took her 6-year-old daughter to head for the corner to get some snacks.
"My girl, this food is banging good," he said as he saw a table filled with dishes of various delights on display.
"I know, I am getting just looking at it," Mina said as they both grabbed plates to take in the different pieces of food for a nobleman to check out Mina and stared at her ass filling out the back of her dress along with her long slender tail.
"What a fine piece of ass, we have here," the nobleman said as he walks over to the yellow-furred beauty to go hit on there. "Hey there beauty, seems you are lonely here," the man said as Mina turned around to give him a strange look.
"Can I help you sir?" she asked as she noticed him staring at her huge bust for she was annoyed by him already.
"Damn, those puppies are amazing along with an angelic face," he thought as he tries to impress her. "I was wondering if I could escort you here tonight," the nobleman said as Mina pointed to Sonic.
"Sonic Hedgehog is my boyfriend, you should know since I am a well-known singer," Mina said as she felt uncomfortable for this guy had only one thing in mind.
"Come on, that drifter is old news. I have a ton of money and property in the kingdom. I can treat you like a true lady of the land," the nobleman said as Mina wanted to kick him in the balls.
"Sorry, that drifter is my true love and I don't like you disrespecting him," Mina said as she crossed her arms for the guy is getting pushy now.
"Come on, ditch that loser and be with a winner," Nobleman tries to grab her waist but Mina backs away and delivers a kick into his balls to make him kneel over with everyone taking notice.
"Screw off, I am with a winner and you are the true loser. I am not some cheap hooker," Mina said as the guards came over to take the guy away.
"I am sorry Mina for the inconvenience. Lord Fel is not the most subtle with things he wants to own," Rotor said as he was in a Royal Guard uniform.
"It's okay, you were on point but I could have dealt with it myself," Mina said.
"I hope, this didn't ruin your experience," Rotor said as Mina shook her head.
"It's not your fault, assholes exist," Mina said as that nobleman reminds her of her ex-boyfriend Ash who only seems to care about fame and wealth not making people happy with music. "Money can't buy happiness, just more problems," Mina thought.
"Well, continue your enjoyment of the party. Call me or the others if you have problems with the nobles," Rotor said as Mina headed back to the table with Sonic waiting for him. He is unhappy with the nobleman trying to brush up on her.
"Hey, you okay?" he asked as Mina nodded her head.
"I can handle that type of guy," Mina said.
"Yeah, I know you can handle yourself. Those guys are the worst," Sonic said.
"Yes but let's not worry about that and enjoy this meal we got here," Mina said as they ate their meal while Elias took center stage in the middle of the huge main hall.
"Welcome to the 6th birthday of the future Queen of our realm. Alexis Acorn, my sweet little girl," Elias presents the little girl sporting a cute orange dress and her red hair dressed in a pigtail.
"Hello everyone, I hope you enjoy my birthday," Alexis said as everyone clapped their hands.
"So, our main attraction is here to sing for my daughter and everyone here. The Songoose is here to sing for us and my daughter," Elias said as he called up the Songoose while her finishing her food.
"Wish me luck honey," Mina said as Sonic kissed her on the cheek.
"Knock them dead, babe," Sonic gives her a thumbs up for Mina goes up to the stage to be beside King Elias.
"Well Mina, it's all you now," Elias said as he walked towards Sonic to talk to him about something.
"Okay, everyone. I am Songoose and I am here to perform for the girl of the hour. Alexis, this is for you. I am going to perform Super Sonic Racing from my album, I hope you enjoy my live performance," Mina takes a deep breath to begin.
"Come on, run away. You don't have to stay. We're nearly out of time. But you're doing fine. So, stay on track. And don't look back. Just feel the pace. Come on now race," Mina's voice explodes with the crowd getting into her pop song. The whole room is filled with energy putting everyone at ease.
Elias is amazed by Mina's singing ability for he feels a calmness about it. "Your girl has an amazing talent for this," Elias said as Sonic girls at this.
"I know how to pick them," Sonic said.
"Indeed; but I want to talk to you about something. It's about an artifact you can use to help you fight off Naugus's dark magic," Elias said as he sat with Sonic for Mina was on fire. The crowd got engaged with her beautiful voice.
"Everybody's Super Sonic Racing. Try to keep your feet right on the ground. When you're Super Sonic Racing. There's no time to look around. We're just Super Sonic Racing. Running to the point of no return. Everybody's Super Sonic Racing. Come on, let the fires burn," Mina's voice sours and echoes through the room for the people are booming with excitement and Alexis is very happy about her performance.
"She has a pretty voice," Alexis said as Megan nodded her head in agreement.
"Yes, she truly does," Megan said as Clove and Cassia looked on in the background to be in awe of her music.
"Wow, she is very impressive," Clove said.
"Yeah, she is so cool," Cassia said as Clove felt a weird calm from Mina's music.
"Indeed," Clove said as Mina tightened her grip on the mic.
"Don't you know? We have to go to a place. Where you can feel my heart just race," Mina said as she slows herself down about to explode with her last verses.
The room waits for Mina to hold her tone with them at the edges of their seats with Mina doing a little hop to slam her tunes.
"Super Sonic Racing. Oh, yeah. Super Sonic Racing. Let's go! Oh, yeah. Everybody, everybody. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah let's go! Everybody, everybody, everybody," Mina holds her last words until they fade away with the crowd cheering from the highs of her song.
Mina does a respectable bow as she catches her breath. "Oh, thank you, everyone. I hope you like it, especially the birthday girl," Mina said as she walked off the stage to meet Sonic who was talking with Elias.
Mina gets tackled by Alexis to hug her legs. "That was amazing Mina, I loved it," Alexis said as Mina bent down to hug the little girl.
"That is my birthday gift to you, sweetheart," Mina said.
"Yes, it was a wonderful performance, Mina. I can see the Songoose title is well-earned," Megan said.
"Thanks," Mina parts ways from the two and sees Clove and Cassia approaching her as they are wearing Royal Guard uniforms.
"That was great," Cassia said.
"I am glad you enjoyed it," Mina said
"Yes, your title is not just hype," Clove said.
"I practice that one quite a bit and make it perfect for the party," Mina said.
"Well, that was enjoyment. We should get going with our defense duties," Clove said as Mina moved to her table to see Elias talking with Sonic.
"Oh Mina, that was very wonderful. I am impressed with your work," Elias said.
'Thank you, sir. I would like to do more concerts here in the future," Mina said as Elias thought it was a good idea.
"That's something I can arrange. I was speaking with Sonic about a magical artifact he can use against Naugus. It's in the lands of the Wolf Pack, it belongs to Lupe the leader of the group. I have contacted her to allow you entrance into their lands," Elias said.
"Thanks; Elias," Sonic said as everyone was enjoying the birthday party while Geoffrey St. John was locked up in his prison deep underground.
"Gee, Sally, and Bunnie failed but how do I make a comeback and get rid of Elias," Geoffrey said as he turned to the corner to see a pair of eyes piercing through the darkness.
"I can help you with that," Naugus said as he walked out of the shadows for Geoffrey to leap backward.
"You are that wizard," he said.
"Yes, I am going to need you for insurance. Come with me," Naugus said as he took him by force to disappear into the shadows for the old wizard had bigger plans for this rebellious skunk.
