Chapter 47: Xtreme Adventure Pt 1
Sonic and Mina are in their home with Mina looking over her album sales for she gets a call from Tiara. "I got my stuff sorted out. We are heading for the Coral Kingdom on Coral Island. Something bad is happening there, a group of six demons is heading there," Tiara said.
"The Deadly Six broke out of jail?" Mina asked as she did remember a report a while back for they mysteriously disappeared within the chaos.
"Yes, and they are seeking out the Chaos Rings on Coral Island. We need to make haste as soon as possible," Tiara said.
"Is Amy and the rest of Team Rose coming too?" Mina asked.
"Well, Amy overheard my plans and insisted on coming along. We need the extra help anyway but I told her to leave Gemerl behind, especially with the Deadly Six using their special electromagnetic powers to control machines. Just you, me, Sonic, Amy, Cream, and Sticks," Tiara said.
"Cool, it would be a good experience for Team Rose," Sonic said as she cut off the phone.
"Well, we got a full team on this one, and the Deadly Six are involved. I am getting tired of these guys," Mina said.
"Me too but we got to back up Tiara and the others," Sonic said as he looked down at the Crystal Ring he got from Luca. "I can test run this bad boy on this mission," Sonic said as Mina went to grab her travel gear to head for the airport to meet with Amy and their others.
Amy is at her apartment in Station Square and she gets out of the shower to dry up her pink fur. "I can't believe we are going to save Tiara's kingdom artifacts. This is going to be one hell of an adventure," Amy said as she took out a white sports bra and white boyshorts to slip them onto her slender frame.
"So snug," Amy slips her tail through her panties to grab her red dress to put it on her body. She grabs her gloves and red boots to complete her outfit. "Okay, I am ready. Hey; Cream you there?" she pulls out her phone to talk with Cream.
"Yes, I and Cheese are ready to go," Cream said as Amy nodded her head.
"Cool, we will meet at the airport where we rented a plane. I hope the Coral Kingdom is a very pretty place," Amy said.
"I hope so too, I want to take pictures to bring to my mother. See you at the airport Amy," Cream said as Amy turned off her smartphone.
"Sticks, you ready to go?" she asked as Sticks was in her combat outfit along with her bow and quiver filled with her custom arrows.
"Yeah, yeah. I got my stuff already," Sticks said to fix up her Hunter Bow to wait for her at the door. Amy looks at a photo of herself and Sonic many years ago.
"I hope I don't screw this up, I wanted to form this team to help him and now I can hope this works out," Amy thought as she grabs her Piko-Piko Hammer to get out the door to meet with the others.
Elsewhere on the shores of the Coral Isle. The Deadly Six were mysteriously sent here by an unknown voice. "How did we get here?" Zeena asked.
"We are here to secure the Chaos Rings and use them to destroy this pitiful world," Zavok said.
"I know that but who teleport us here?" Zeena asked as they saw an old elder woman appearing before them.
"I did my little friend. My name is Witchcraft and I need your aid," the elderly human woman said with her long grey hair while donning a black robe and a black witch hat.
The Zeti look at the very old human to know she is of magical origin. "What do you want Hag?" Zazz demanded.
Witchcraft shows them the six Chaos Rings to get their attention. "Seems like now I have your eyes and ears. You can have these," Witchcraft said as the Zeti looked on with suspicion.
"What's the catch old hag?" Zeena demanded.
"You will gain the massive power of the Chaos Ring and you will be my bodyguards while I prepare for a spell," Witchcraft said.
"Well, let's get the power, and if she stabs us in the back. We kill her with our new powers," Zazz said.
"Excellent idea," Zavok said as the Deadly Six were willing to give their aid to the old human witch. "We have a deal," Zavok said as Witchcraft had a crooked smile on her worn face.
"Here you go," she tosses the Chaos Rings to each member of the Deadly Six once you are done with your job. I will let you leave this island," Witchcraft said as she laughed to herself.
The Deadly Six absorb the rings to empower themselves with huge amounts of Chaos energy to twist their bodies to be more powerful twisted versions of themselves.
"Fools, they will never this place and will be a great help in making my spell come true," she said as she sensed people coming to Coral Island. "I sense several females in a plane nearby and they have great youthful energy. They will be needed to complete my spell to give myself massive power and enchanting beauty," Witchcraft said to put her plan into action.
Meanwhile Sonic and Mina are piloting the plane with everyone inside as Tiara is behind Sonic's seat to feel the power of the Chaos Rings being used. "This is going to get rough," Tiara said as she sported her red full leather bodysuit with her long brown hair tied up in a high ponytail. Tiara feels deeply saddened by the sight of the ruins dotting the whole island.
"The Coral Kingdom, the Mobian Kingdom lost to time. How are you feeling Tiara?" Mina asked.
"It's been a long time since I have been here. It used to be so beautiful but now it only holds ruins and bones," Tiara said sounding saddened by her former kingdom being taken over by nature and left to rot in the times of history. She looks down at her hands to see frost coming off them. "No amount of ice in the world would have stopped that volcano from going off," Tiara said as Mina noticed hints of guilt within her voice.
"Tiara," Mina feels empathy for the older woman for she goes into the back to see Sticks crafting a special EMP arrow using a weird crystal tip emitting electric pulses.
"So pretty down there," Sticks said as she saw all the unique-looking trees which had shades of pink and purple in their leaves.
"Tiara said they are unique to this island. It gives its unique name Coral Island due to it looking like a coral reef from the sky," Mina said.
"Nice detail, I don't ever go through trees like that," Sticks said.
"I wonder, where did you live?" Mina asked.
"Oh, I used to live in the rainforest in the Mystic Ruins. That place is a total maze but I managed to live off the land until Amy found me after that mess with Chaos. Then the rest is history," Sticks said.
"Living off the land, huh, all your clothing handmade?" Mina asked to see her wearing a brown tunic and black pants made of animal leather and fur.
"Yep, Amy tries to make me buy clothing but I prefer my stuff. Feel more comfortable that way," Sticks said.
"I see, everyone has their style," Mina said as she went over to Cream and Amy who were talking about the beautiful scenery outside.
"Gee Amy, it's so pretty," Cream said as she held her baton umbrella to get ready for the landing. The Angel Chao Cheese is pleased with the lovely sight and Amy agrees.
"Yes, it's all shades of pink and purple down there, it does look like a coral reef on land," Amy said.
"Feeling nervous?" Mina asked Amy.
"Yes, but I am bracing myself. I need to prove myself as a leader and lead this team to victory," Amy said as Mina patted her on the back.
"I know you can do it; you were always stubborn about things," Mina said as she knows this all too well.
"Yeah, I need to calm down and stay focused," Amy said as their plane got hit by something.
"Oh crap, we are getting hit by rocks," Sonic said as they see several large rocks getting thrown from the beach below. The rock tears through the wing as they begin to fall towards the sandy beach.
"Brace for impact," Sonic said as they crashed onto the beach for two Zeti are beside the ruined plane. Master Zik uses his telekinesis to rip the plane in half with Tiara leaping out of the ruined plane to kick Zik and blast Zomom with ice.
The large rotund Zeti used his girth to shake off her frost to slam his belly into Tiara and knock her into Sonic. He grabs her to check to see if the cat princess is okay. "You cool?" he asked as Tiara nodded her head. Mina, Amy, Cream, and Sticks get into combat stances to see the two Zeti are twisted by a dark power.
"What happened to you?" Mina asked.
"Oh, we had absorbed the power of the Chaos Rings and gained these new powers," Master Zik said as he lifted several rocks with his mind to fling them at the group. Everyone is dodging their attacks with Tiara and Mina throwing ice and fire attacks at the evil duo.
Cream and Amy rush in with their weapons as Cheese puts up an energy barrier to block incoming thrown rocks. Sticks fires a flash arrow to blind the two with Cream and Amy slamming their weapons to knock Zomom into a tree. Master Zik grabs the two girls with his mind and tosses them into the sand.
Sonic goes in as he increases his kicking power with wind energy to slam into Zik but the old Zeti is summoning a barrier to block his strike. "Sonic Wind," Sonic empowers his legs to leash out several wind crescents to crave into the barrier until it breaks down leaving him vulnerable.
"So old and tons of fun. We are taking those Chaos Rings back," Sonic said as Mina and Sticks were aiding Sonic while Amy and Cream went with Tiara to fight off Zomom.
"We are all-powerful now, you can't stop us," Zik said.
"Want to bet on that, Cyclone Spin," Sonic goes running around the old Zeti and circles him until he summons a huge twister made of sand and razor winds. Sticks fire electric arrows into the torrent to add electricity into the mix to further do more damage. Mina fires a big ball of fire to hit the twister and make a large fiery explosion.
Master Zik took some damage to summon another psychic barrier to whip up trees and rocks with his mind. Sticks use her bomb arrows to destroy the incoming objects with Mina and Sonic goes to clash with the barrier with their strong kicks.
"Eat plasma," Mina lobs plasma orbs which tear up the old man's barrier with Sonic kicking him several times. "Fire Somersault," Sonic hits the Zeti with his fire-enhanced blows and delivers a powerful kick to knock him onto the sands.
Zik summons a twister of sand to lob it at the trio as Sticks fires a flame arrow to heat the twister to turn the sand into glass. Mina hits the twister onto a Hover to make it float and Mina hits it again with another Hover to knock it towards Master Zik.
The glass shards cut into him and launched him onto a tree. "I am not done yet," Master Zik puts up another psychic barrier to resume the fight.
Zomom is belly-flopping onto the sands with the three girls trying to avoid the shockwaves he is making with each belly-flop.
"Stop moving," Amy gets under Zomom and slams her hammer into the monster to knock him into the air. Cheese flies up and slams him towards Tiara conjuring daggers of ice between her fingertips.
"Taste this," Tiara scores several hits for the daggers explode to freeze him with both Cream and Amy knocking him into a tree.
"That hurts, I am getting angry," Zomom is surging with Chaos energy for him to burrow into the sands to see a large bump moving throughout the beach.
"This guy just became a land shark," Amy said as she gripped her hammer tight to get ready for his next move.
"I am going to eat you pink hedgehog," Zomom flies out of the sand to open his mouth about to eat Amy.
"Damn, your gross," Amy slams her hammer into Zomom's face to knock him down to stun him. Cream, Cheese, and Tiara are striking his large body with Tiara summoning blocks of ice above Zomom's body. She drops them to pound away at the evil Zeti as Tiara summons an ice pillar to launch Zomom into the air.
Cream uses her ears to lift Amy into the air. "Here Amy, Cheese help out," Cream tosses Amy above the big Zeti. Cheese turns into a ball and Amy hits him down into Zomom knocking him back onto the sand. Amy comes downward and bashes her hammer onto his stomach knocking the wind out of the big Zeti.
A shadow is watching over the fight to look upon the beautiful Mobian women on the beach. "They are very lovely, they are perfect to give me everlasting beauty," Witchcraft said as she waited for the right moment to take the most beautiful, the yellow mongoose.
The two Zeti were having a problem fighting back against the group. "Damn it, Zomom I need the use of your body," Master Zik uses his mind to grab onto Zomom to use him like a wrecking ball.
"Time to end this," Sonic said as he went into a Spin Dash and used Earth magic to harden his quills with the others going after him.
Mina and Tiara use energy attacks to knock Zomom out of the air, Amy, Cream, and Cheese bash Zomom into Master Zik causing a lot of damage. Stick fires a net arrow to let out a net to shock the two Zeti.
"Diamond Dash," Sonic makes his quills as hard as a diamond to launch himself into two Zeti to score a massive hit and knock them into a tree to see they are gravely injured and unable to fight.
"We did it," Amy said as she gave Cream and Cheese high fives. Sonic looks at the Crystal Ring to see his powers are quite impressive.
"This is pretty handy," Sonic commented for they see something very odd. Master Zik and Zomom disappear within the light for them to disappear. "That is very weird," Sonic said as a shadow was in the tree to use her magic to pull Mina away from them. "Mina!" Sonic shouted as Witchcraft grabbed Mina by the throat to cast a sleep which put her into a deep sleep.
"Very impressed blue hedgehog but my magic is stronger," Witchcraft said as Tiara lobbed ice bombs but the witch summoned a mystic barrier to block the assault leaving her unharmed.
"Who are you?" Tiara demanded as Sonic headed for the with but Witchcraft bats him away with an unseen force to pin him to a tree.
"I am the mistress of these forgotten lands. These Deadly Six are now my bodyguard in exchange for the Chaos Rings and their power," Witchcraft said.
"Bodyguards, where are you planning with Mina?" Sonic demanded as the witch laughed like a madwoman.
"Oh; she is so pretty. She will be needed for a spell; I am cooking up. You will see soon," Witchcraft said to teleport out of there with Mina in hand.
"Mina!" Sonic shouted as he wasn't fast enough to save her from the evil witch's grip. "Damn it, this is such a big mess," he said.
"Yeah, Mina is kidnapped, the Deadly Six are using the Chaos Rings, an evil witch has taken hold of my land and we lost our plane. This is going to be tougher than I thought," Tiara said as Amy felt so helpless unable to save Mina.
"Mina, we got to save her Sonic," Amy said as Sonic nodded his head.
"We will find a way out later; we need to focus on finding out what is going on here and save Mina along with taking care of the Deadly Six. Those two got a lot stronger with them infused with those Chaos Rings. Be careful everyone," Sonic said as everyone ran off deeper into Coral Island to face off against more unknown horrors to come.
Elsewhere Witchcraft is in her tower to drop Mina into a pod while using magic to keep her asleep. Also, the essence of Master Zik and Zomom are within two of the six stones that hold them and the Chaos Rings they once held.
"Perfect, all the negative Chaos energy they were making while fused with the Chaos Rings is needed for my spell to be complete. Those ogres were fools, they are nothing but steps for me to gain true power and those girls will be needed to make me the most beautiful woman of all time," Witchcraft laughs at her plan for it will fall in place naturally for she has her sight of the young beauty Cream.
