Chapter 48: Xtreme Adventures Pt 2
Mina is now on the table confused and shaken up with the witch putting a spell on her forehead to feel her body weakening. "Interesting, you managed to resist my sleeping spell. This will put you under control," Witchcraft said.
"Wait, why are you doing this to me?" she said as the nasty old witch grabbed Mina's legs to grope them a bit as she played with her hair liking how silky smooth it was.
"So, shapely and long your legs are and your breasts so large and round. I want my figure just like yours. Soon enough within a few hours. Your youth and beauty will be my own," the witch said as she left her in the room to be too drained of energy to move.
"I feel so stupid to drop my guard like that, they must be worried sick about me," she thought as suddenly the spell was worn out and her energy returned to her. "My Hyper-Go-On energy is returning and the spell is disabled," Mina said to get onto her feet. "I can feel my energy pouring back into me. Disabling the spell. This stuff is truly special," she said going into the tower to find a way out of there.
"Impossible, you had no energy at all to move but no matter. You will fall before me and be used as my fountain of youth along with the others," the witch said within Mina's mind.
"Others, what is your plan?" Mina demanded as she ran through the tower for a weird feeling washes over her.
"You are unique. I can feel your youthful energy is very potent due to the different energies coming from your body. Compared to the others, you have five times more youthful energy than the others combined," Witchcraft said as Mina was confused by this.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Mina asked.
"It means due to your unique energy, your body can live for a long time well past normal limits," Witchcraft said as Mina felt her body was much stronger than a normal body due to all the Hyper-Go-On energy empowering every cell in her body.
"Oh; my body's aging has been slowed down by a lot due to those experiments, I need to get out of here," she thought to see a painting in the middle of the hallway.
"That is why I can't use you. I will use the others instead to make up the difference," Witchcraft said.
Mina can see a beautiful young woman in a sundress as a big black dog is beside her. "This must be the witch when she was younger," she said.
"Yes, you are correct. I was the most beautiful bell in all the land until age has taken that away from me. I need youth to gain that beauty back," the witch said.
"I am sorry, but you have to move on," Mina said.
"Easy for you to say. You have had youth and beauty for a long time, my time is up. Bring her to me now," the witch made the suits of armor come alive with her magic.
"The knight armor is coming alive," Mina summons power into her feet to take down a living armor with one swing.
"Interesting, you are a lady knight who is good with combat," the witch said as Mina was slicing up incoming enemies with spiked discs.
"Plasma," Mina lobs orbs of plasma to let out powerful bursts of energy to destroy groups of living armor to turn them into piles of broken armor pieces. She leaps over a towering living armor to perform a series of powerful leg thrusts to use a final lunge to destroy the big brute.
"Impressive, you remember me of my mother. She was a lady knight like you, the goddess rests her soul," the witch said.
Mina is unnerved that the witch goes from sweetly sentimental to disturbing evil at the drop of a hat.
"I need to get out of here," Mina thought to go through the hallways for she felt someone watching her from the shadows.
"I doubt it dearest; my loyal pet Cerberus will capture you. You are becoming more trouble than you are worth," Witchcraft orders her large black dog to strike Mina out of the shadows.
She dodges its incoming strike for she engages the monster as the dog slips into the shadows of the trees to disappear.
"Where did it go?" Mina questioned as the dog popped out of nowhere to spit out dark fireballs with Mina evading its strikes as it repeated its attack pattern using the shadows to teleport and spit out fireballs. "It's warping within the shadows," Mina said.
"What a big cheater," Mina said as she let out a flash of lightning into the shadows to force Cerberus into the open as he spread out a wave of flames from its maws. "It must be vulnerable to light," Mina thought.
Mina uses Ghost against the fiery assault to let the attack phase right through her. Mina hits the beast with a Hover to make it float and then follows up with a large flame ball at the monster causing severe damage, but the beast is still standing.
Mina shoots explosive lightning orbs to pound into the beast taking damage. Mina fires a spike of stone to bash into the beast's head with enough force to stun it.
"Hush Puppy, Laser + Drill," she cuts through the beast to see the big dog is fine. The monster rushes at Mina with her back turned as the dog is about to bite her. The monster bursts into a pile of gore on the stone floor.
"No problem," Mina said for she felt a wave of rage coming from the walls and her mind.
"How dare you kill my beloved pet. Once you get in here, you will never find your way out," the witch said in rage to cast an illusion within the area as the hallways seemed to go on endlessly with Mina using her full speed for she seemed like she was going in circles.
Mina can feel something odd in the air, but she presses on to be within a room to see it's a bedroom. She sees a lone sundress on a mannequin on the corner. "Oh, it's that pretty dress that the witch wore when she was younger," she said as she thought it looked pretty and imagined herself wearing it.
"You will all be lost in delusion soon enough," the witch cried out within Mina's mind.
"This must end," Mina said to arrive in the main lobby where the witch is at. The evil old woman attacks Mina's mind with her spells trying to make her a willing servant.
"Bow before me," the witch said.
"Never," Mina goes into her Rainbow form as Hyper-Go-On energy overflows out of her body enough to dispel the illusions within the whole building leaving the witch surprised.
"Impossible, your mind shouldn't be immune to the effects," the witch said as she was quite frightened by the young woman's vast power.
"I am going to end this now," Mina is about to hit her with a Plasma orb but Witchcraft disappeared.
"Too bad, you will have to deal with my pets down below," Witchcraft said as Mina looked down to see a spell drawn in the trap door. A field of gravity is increasing so fast it knocks her breath and sends her down into the depths of the island. "Now I need to focus on getting the other girls for my plans. Then I would be strong enough to get rid of that mongoose," Witchcraft said as Mina flew downward to be within a huge cavern filled with ancient ruins of the old Coral Kingdom.
"Wow, this place is remarkable but no time to sightsee. I need to regroup with Sonic and the others," Mina said as she flew through the area trying to find a way out.
Elsewhere Sonic and Team Rose arrived at the ruined city to see it has seen better days. "Gee, this place used to be the jewel of this island and now nature has taken over here," Tiara said.
"What a mess, an earthquake did this?" Cream asked.
"Yes, it was triggered when a seaborn volcano went off and then the tsunami came. Then the rest was history wiping out everyone on the island," Tiara said as she sounds sadden by this.
Sonic hears something in his commlink. "Sonic, this is Mina," Mina said on the radio for everyone to feel happy to hear her voice.
"Thank goodness, you are okay babe. Where are you?" Sonic asked.
"I managed to escape but I am in huge catacombs deep underground," Mina said.
"Catacombs, those are where all the royal family bury their dead. Who knows what defenses you will face down there along with dark magic," Tiara said.
"Listen up, this witch wants females to make herself youthful again. She is insane but due to my unique powers, I can't be useful to her plans. Amy, Cream, Tiara, and Sticks, keep your guard up," Mina said as Sonic looked over to see a huge tower in the distance.
"Mina, I see a marble tower in the distance. Is that her HQ?" he asked.
"Yes, it sounds familiar. I will meet with you at some point. I can sense your energy Sonic from your Crystal Ring. Good luck my love and everyone," Mina said to cut off the line.
"It's like some fairy tale or something," Amy said.
"We should keep guard, we have no clue what the Deadly Six want in all this," Tiara said as they went through the buildings to spot the tower. "We need to cross this city and into the jungle," Tiara said.
Amy looks up at a huge building for it has a very beautiful design to it. "This is awe-inspiring despite all the damage it took," Amy said as she wanted to take pictures of the place.
"Yes the Coral City was a great Mobian city-state but it's nothing but a memory now," Tiara said as Cream sensed her sadness.
"Why are you so sad, you said it happened so many years ago?" Cream asked as she was told Tiara had moved on from it.
"Yes, it's due to why I have these ice powers. My father wanted me to aid in stopping the volcano from going off but the test results have shown that I wasn't strong enough to pull it off. I was sent away with family abroad to get away from the crisis but it was all in vain," Tiara said.
"That's awful, must have been a big weight on you," Amy said.
"Yeah it was but now I can use these powers to prevent the world from falling into another disaster," Tiara said.
"That's the spirit," Amy said as she felt a bit sad. "I feel so stupid," Amy said as Sticks was confused by this.
"By what?" she asked.
"Sonic and Mina, they work so well together and seem so happy. I was such a fool when I was younger, trying to woo Sonic when his eyes were always on Mina. I was so jealous of her and got angry with her. Yet she still wants to be my friend," Amy said feeling shameful about her past behavior.
"Well, you are grown up now and you two are good friends," Sticks said.
"Yes, she is like the big sister I never had. Giving me advice like training, fashion, or boys. It's pretty nice," Amy said as she recalled a time in the past when she stopped treating Mina as a threat and as a friend.
-Flashback Begins-
Amy is heading for the park in Station Square after 3 months have passed since Chaos wreaked parts of Station Square. The city has rebuilt and resumed back to normal with Amy feeling a swirl of emotions for Mina wanted to talk to her about something.
"I such be mad at her for taking Sonic but I feel weird," Amy places her hand on her chest for the image of Mina kissing Sonic on the lips made her go insane with jealousy. "Those two have been dating for a few months now and it looks like they are having fun. She even made him a Bento like a proper girlfriend would do. Sonic never gets food from me like that," Amy thought as she felt firm about speaking with Mina.
"What is she going to say to tell me to back off or something, she seems nice enough," Amy said as she saw Mina sitting on a bench donning her black top and brown shorts which shows off her curves which Amy is jealous of. "Gee, no wonder she is a pop idol," she thought as she saw Mina was quite serious.
"Amy, I have one word to say to you," Mina said as Amy was bracing for it. Mina bows her head and claps her hands together. "Sorry," she said as Amy's mixed feelings melted away as she looked down at the older girl.
"What?" Amy asked in surprise.
"I know you are feeling very uncomfortable due to your connection with Sonic. I want to tell you, I am not your enemy," Mina said as Amy was unsure about this.
"This is some sort of trick?" Amy is confused by Mina's friendly nature for Mina goes over to sit down on the bench.
"Sit down, let's talk. Just us two girls," Mina said to show a reserved smile for Amy to take a seat. Mina pulls out a bag filled with cookies to take one for herself. "Would like you a cookie, I made them myself," Mina shows her the bag as Amy takes a sugar cookie and bites into it.
"Oh; this is yummy," Amy enjoys it for Mina is happy about it. "You are a great cook, can I have more please?" she asked.
"Sure, I have plenty to spare," Mina said as the two girls were eating snacks under a tree with the sun shining down on the park. "Sonic told me all about your feelings for him. It's very sweet but he sadly doesn't feel the same way about you," Mina said being honest with Amy.
"What do you mean?" she asked.
"He only sees you as a little sister Amy," Mina said as she placed a tender hand on her shoulder.
"Oh, I see," Amy feels like crying about this that her crush only sees her as a sister figure.
"Oh Amy," Mina gives the younger girl a soft hug for Amy is crying onto Mina's chest.
"I am such an idiot. When I saw your song on the internet. I just knew why Sonic liked you so much but I was in decline," Amy wept with Mina understanding her to hug her tighter.
"I know Amy, you need a minute?" Mina asked in a big sister-like tone as Amy nodded her head to cry into Mina's chest for about a minute.
"I am very sorry for how I acted with you, it was mean of me to call you those bad names," Amy said.
"It's okay Amy, I know how to handle young feisty girls like you," Mina said as she stroked her quills gently. "I want us to be friends Amy, you seem like a sweet upbeat person and I think it would be fun hanging out together," Mina said.
"That would be nice, hey Mina. I wanted to know, what would you do if Sonic was with someone else?" Amy asked as the thought of Sonic being with another woman made Mina feel sad.
"It would make me very sad and I would cry too but if Sonic is happy with her girl. I am happy he has found someone who can make his life fulfilling and I would still cherish him as a special guy in my life," Mina said with pure honesty for Amy was shocked to see how mature Mina is.
"Wow, you are so kind Mina," Amy said as Mina gave her a friendly kiss on the forehead. "What's that for?" Amy looked confused as Mina giggled at her cute expression.
"You are so cute Amy," Mina teases her as the young girl flushes in the face.
"Don't tease me," Amy pouted.
"I did that because you remind me of my younger sister Melody who is a bit younger than you. I give her kisses on the forehead to calm her down," Mina said as Amy's eyes widened by this.
"You have a younger sister?" Amy asked.
"Yep, she is about 8 years old around Tails' age. So can we be friends Amy?" she asked as she opened her arms waiting for a hug. Amy smiles at her and gives her a sisterly hug.
"Yeah, I think you're pretty cool," Amy said.
"Cool, come on. I know this clothing boutique we can shop it in Station Square," Mina said as Amy's face brightened up.
"Yeah, that would be awesome. Shopping trip," Amy said as the two girls headed off outside the park with Amy losing her love for Sonic but gaining a big sister figure like Mina.
-Flashback Ends-
Amy feels free of her obsession with Sonic and moves on to become a much more balanced person due to Mina's kind mature approach. "I own Mina a lot and I need to step up to be the leader this team needs," Amy said as Sticks noticed something in the shadows in one of the buildings.
"I am proud of you Amy. You have lots of time to get another guy," Cream said.
"Yes, there are other fishes in the sea," Sticks said.
"I guess but I didn't find anyone yet," Amy said.
"Where do you think you are going," Zazz said as he lunged at Cream to grab onto her left ear and toss her into a window.
"Cream," Amy said as several clones of Zor appeared to charge at her. She hits one wither hammer but it explodes knocking her into a wall.
"We got a job to do and we are going to enjoy making you suffer," Zor said as Zazz had a devilish grin across his face. Cream and Cheese hop out of the window with Cheese canceling out an energy attack from Zazz.
"Okay, we need to split up. Cream and Sticks tag that guy Zor. I, Tiara, and Sonic will deal with Zazz," Amy ordered.
"You got it chief," Sticks said as she and Cream engaged the gloomy Zeti with Sticks lobbing explosive arrows taking out his clones with Cream flying towards the Zeti. Cream and Cheese strike him several times and then Cheese knocks him into the air. Cheese flies up and slams him downward with her baton umbrella.
"Damn it," Zor creates a ton of clones to try and overwhelm them but Sticks fires her bomb arrows to let them out like traps. The arrows create explosions which lead to mini bomblets coming out and doing even more damage. Cheese makes an energy barrier to surrounding Cream with the Zor's clones trying to break Cheese's barrier.
Sticks fires a shock arrow to strike the real Zor to stun him in place with Cream and Cheese tackling him to knock him into a wall. "Fools," Zor begins to control the old machine turrets on the walls to begin shooting at them.
"Attack," Cream opens her umbrella to deflect the laser bolts from her strong umbrella acting like a shield. Cheese flies toward the turrets with him using his energy shield to block incoming energy bolts. Cheese tackles the turrets to destroy them as he kicks Zor in the back to send him flying into Sticks.
"Take this," Sticks droves her foot into the Zor and knock him down. "No match for us," Sticks said as she gave Cream and Cheese high fives.
"Damn it" Zor disappears into a ball of light to head for the tower.
"That was weird," Sticks said as she looked over to see the others fighting Zazz for them to go over to help but they saw a dark-cloaked figure stopping them.
"Oh no you don't little ones," Witchcraft blasts them with a sleeping spell that knocks them out. "Thankfully, these two are not special like that Mongoose woman," Witchcraft said as she teleports away with her prize.
Amy looked over to see the two being taken away and Amy felt frightened by this. "Cream, Sticks, and Cheese," she said as she got hit by Zazz's claw to knock her onto the grass.
"Amy, stay focused. We can rescue them after taking care of the Deadly Six," Tiara said as she hit him with ice blasts trying to pin him down but he evaded her attacks. Zazz tries to slash at Amy while she deflects his hits with her hammer.
"Fire Somersault," Sonic spins into Zazz to hit him several times and kick him into a building. Tiara freezes the whole building and makes it explode with him going for Zazz. She freezes the ground underneath her feet with her boots sporting skate blades.
"You little pussy cat, I will rip you in half," Zazz said as he punches Tiara but her frost is flash freezing his hand. She slashes it with her skate blade to sever it from his arm.
"That is my line," Tiara said as she summoned ice daggers into her hands. She tosses them into the Zeti's body for it explodes on impact freezing parts of his body. "You are disgraceful for using my father's inventions. They were used to help people," Tiara said as she kicked and blasted the Zeti.
"Oh, but they are so good. I will use it to make everyone suffer," Zazz said as Tiara went in for the kill with the two in a deadly duel. Both exchanged blows and evaded each other's attacks but Tiara used her powers to slow down his movements allowing her to pick him off.
She severs his last hand with her skate blades as she begins to freeze the evil Zeti until he turns into an ice statue. Tiara snaps her fingers to kill the Zeti leaving him a pile of red ice. Weirdly Zazz's corpse turns into a ball of light to head for the tower.
"We are done here, let's get the others. Hopefully, Mina can meet with us as soon as possible," Tiara said as the trio went deeper into the island. Witchcraft's plan is coming along just fine.
The witch is in her chamber to see four of the six Zeti infused with the Chaos Rings in the stones. "Yes, perfect. I am so close to getting supreme power, I can taste it," Witchcraft looks at Sticks and Cream in the pods to be drained of her beauty.
"Soon enough, I will be the most beautiful and most powerful woman in the world. Everyone will bow before me," Witchcraft is laughing into the ceiling for her plan is coming together with two more girls and two more Zeti left until she is strong enough to rule the world.
