Chapter 63: Casino Nights
Mina, Fiona, and Buns are in the living room in the tower to relax with Bernie and Sonic scouting the area for any more Anarchy Beryl gems nearby. Mina is looking over the internet on a laptop she borrowed from the lab to is sad by the state of Anti-Mobius's internet space.
"Gee, nothing but a bunch of sociopaths trying to prey scams onto their millions of followers and getting away with it. Oh right, it's just like the old internet back home. Some things never change," Mina said.
"Yeah, the whole world is ruled like that here unless in your world. No one cares to hide they are complete dicks," Buns said.
"This Anti-Mobius is no joke, no wonder Scourge turned out the way he did," Fiona said.
"Hey, don't blame this world on Scourge being a dickhead. That's all on him, look at me. I am not a bad guy anymore," Buns said.
"Yeah you are right," Fiona said as she was getting more comfortable talking with Buns and Mina.
"We managed to collect the first Anarchy Beryl gem and we got more to go," Mina said.
"Some of the warlords under Miles' control would be using them to reinforce their rule over their lands. It's not going be as easy as beating up an evil tree," Buns said as she bit into a muffin to enjoy it. "My stars, this tastes amazing. You are a great cook, Mina," she commented.
"Thanks, I got a good teacher in my mother who owns the family restaurant," Mina said as she ate her muffin as well.
"Oh really? That sounds nice, I heard from Sonic you were a big singer in your dimension," Fiona said as she ate her muffin to be impressed by Mina's tasty work.
"Yep and I was pretty big but I am going to quit soon," Mina said as the two women were surprised by this.
"Why, you got the fame and the money. Why just keep going?" Fiona asked to be confused by this.
"That all has a time limit, especially in the world of music. People like the hotter and younger artists out there and the older ones like me get phased out. I enjoy my dreams of becoming a singer and making my mark but I just turned 22 recently and it bested to leave out of it gracefully," Mina said.
"Good for you, you were an indie singer who has gone the distance and never sold out. I have respect for that," Buns said.
"Yeah, the music companies are very ruthless with their singers. Sucking them dry enough they have a mental break out and destroy the reputation in the process while repeating the same thing with a new star over again," Mina said as Buns feels this amusing for she sees this all the time.
"Yeah, sounds about like, seems like amoral jackasses seem to want to be on the top to get some kick out of screwing someone else over," Buns said.
"Too bad it's reality and we got to deal with it. One asshole at a time," Fiona said.
'Indeed, so ladies. After this is all over, what are your plans?" Mina asked.
"Oh my, I got teased by this when I was little and even now. I always dream of setting up my hair salon," Buns said as Fiona looked at her funny.
"Seriously?" Fiona asked.
"Why is that so weird, I have a strong feminine streak despite my darker nature. I want to do hair and make ladies all over the prettiest they can be. Also, you two have amazing hair and I would love to work on them," Buns said as she admitted Mina's long silky purple hair and Fiona's cute short red hair.
"Thanks, I keep good care of it," Mina said as Fiona stroked her hair thinking it was just okay.
"Thank you, I just keep it short so it won't get in the way," Fiona said.
"It's not a silly dream, you should go for it. I will be one of your first customers," Mina said as Buns nodded her head to show a beautiful smile showing how pretty she could be.
"Thanks, Mina-Girl. I will remember that and give you half off when you come into my salon and you all can call me Bunnie which is my real name. Buns is just a nickname," Bunnie said as she sports a blush on her face. "Also, I would love to get my hands on a sweet man to be my husband. I don't need much, a kind and loyal guy is all I need in my life," Bunnie said.
"Interesting, you must be a rarity here in this world," Mina said.
"Hey, I am a simple gal with simple needs. Regardless of my moral compass," Bunnie said.
"Fair enough, what about you Fiona? What do you want to do?" Mina asked.
"Oh me, well I wanted to do mercenary work but Scourge smashed that into pieces. I am feeling pretty aimless right now and trying to figure things out," Fiona said as Mina nodded her head.
"I understand, you've been through a lot. If you need help, just ask," Mina said as Fiona felt funny in her chest from Mina's sweet nature rubbing off on her.
"Thanks, what are you going to do after this?" Fiona asked.
"Well, once I officially quit the music world. I am going to run my family tofu shop along with my husband while raising our future children," Mina said as Bunnie got all starry-eyed at this.
"That sounds so cute, I wish I could do that too but I got to work on that," Bunnie said.
"Your family runs a Tofu shop?" Fiona asked to be interested.
"Yes in the city-state of Okina City in Yurashia which is my hometown. The shop has been with my family for generations and then I will pass it on to my children when it's my time to move on," Mina said.
"That's very cool, I would love to try your tofu since your cooking is amazing," Bunnie said.
"I would love to make some dishes for everyone one of these days like the Spicy Black Pepper Tofu dish, it is so killer to your tastebuds," Mina said as Bunnie got a call from Dr. Kintobor on his robotic arm.
"Ladies, we found another Anarchy Beryl, and it's located in Casino Nights nightclub in the town nearby. It is run by the warlord/owner Jake. I think you all need to go into this with a more subtle touch," Anti-Eggman said.
"Oh yeah, the biggest nightclub on the landmass of Soumercia. We need to look banger to get inside," Bunnie said as she had a smirk on her face. "Interesting, we three can handle this one. We are going to need some pretty dresses and sneak into the club. I know someone who can hook us all," Bunnie said to call up an old friend via email.
Elsewhere Sonic and Bernadette are patrolling outside to be in the mountains to enjoy the fresh air of the area. "Gee it's so clean here," Sonic said.
"Lucky for us, those cities are covered in filth and smug from Miles' factories. They are very disgusting and the conditions are quite awful. Most people go into crime to try to survive since all the money is in the hands of crooks running this diseased world," Bernie said as Sonic patted her on the back.
"You must have had it rough here?" he asked.
"Yep, been living here for 21 years, and it's soul-crushing dear. This world has truly given up and it's not worth saving," Bernadette said feeling saddened by the state of this sad world.
"I see but what about the humans? I have been looking at the internet and I don't see any humans on the websites?" he asked.
"My son, there are no humans here. They have been extinct for over 1000 years ago," Bernadette said as Sonic was dumbfounded by this.
"How? The Doctor is a human and he is alive now?" he asked sounding very confused.
"Well, the good doctor only remembers being found in a pod in an underground human city when he was pretty young. He the last human on Mobius," Bernadette said for Sonic shares his pity along with his mother for him.
"How did the humans go extinct?" he asked.
"No one truly knows, after a huge war between humans and Mobians over 2000 years ago. Humans went underground after being defeated by the Mobians while their numbers were insanely cut down and lived closed-off lives away from the Mobians above ground but about 1000 years they all disappeared leaving their cities empty like ghost towns," Bernie said.
"Pretty spooky, no trace of them at all," Sonic said as they continued to go on their patrols for mother and son.
"Well, we don't have time for that. We got to keep going and punch our way back to our home dimension," Bernie said.
"Yeah, I think King Elias and Queen Megan would love to see you in the Kingdom of Acorn," Sonic said as Bernadette raised her eyes at this.
"Oh, little boy Elias is on the king now. I expect Princess Sally would be the Queen now," Bernadette said as Sonic remembered fighting Sally's terrorist cells causing damage to the Kingdom of Acorn not too long ago.
"Yeah about that," Sonic explains that Geoffrey poisoned her mind with bigoted ideas about humans and fought a war with her brother to make the Kingdom of Acorn get away from the human-controlled United Federation.
"What a shame, I used to know her when she was a little girl but now that wicked skunk twisted her mind and used her to attack the crown," Bernie said sounding pretty upset.
"Sadly, last time I checked, he disappeared," Sonic said.
'Well, I will give him a piece of my mind when we get back home," Bernie said as the Son and mother bonded as they kept going on the patrols in the mountains.
Elsewhere, Bunnie, Mina, and Fiona take a shuttle to fly towards the nightclub for them to have their new outfits fitted on their bodies. They land the shuttle for them to be ready to go into the nightclub Casino Nights for the girls are ready to go grab the Anarchy Beryl.
"Gee, these outfits are killer Bunnie," Fiona said as she walked by the hatch to be wearing a yellow tank top, blue short shorts, and white thigh-high boots.
"You know I got the hookup," Bunnie is rocking a black short dress showing off her curvy robot legs.
Mina got with the girls to sport a blue tube top, white mini skirt, and brown knee-high boots. "I am looking pretty hot here, we should be able to blend into the crowd there. So, what is the plan?" Mina asked them to know via the gem radar that the Anarchy Beryl was inside the club.
"Well, the owner Jake is very much into curvy girls and Mina is the curviest girl in our group. You need to go in and seduce him allowing you to go into his office to steal the gem without alerting the whole area," Bunnie said.
"Alright, I hope he doesn't do something stupid or pervy," Mina said as the three girls got out of the shuttle to walk toward the building. The people waiting outside are checking the girls to see the guys looking at them especially Mina with lust with the women feeling envious of Mina and the girls.
They approached the bouncer for Bunnie greeted him with a wink and whipped up her long blond hair. "We are here for the party," Bunnie said.

"Thank goodness for fake IDs," Fiona said, proud of making them flawless as they saw a huge space filled with bright wavy colors and flashing lights. Hip Hop music blazes in the background while people move and grind on the dance.
"This place is something else alright," Mina said as the loud music pounded into her ears and against her whole body.
"Yep, this music is pumping," Fiona said as they spotted multiple couples making out in the booth, the DJ rocking out some new tunes with the people changing their dances on the fly.
"Where is Jake?" Mina asked as Bunnie pointed to a large fox guy in a red shirt in the VIP section.
"Good luck Mina," she said as Mina goes to the VIP section for a bouncer to stop her.
"What do you want?" he asked.
"I want to talk with Jake, is he available?" Mina asked.
"Nope, you need to be on his list to go into his spot," the bouncer said as Mina moved away.

"Relax, if something happens. We can just bust in and destroy his robot guards," Fiona said as Swat Bots were everywhere while Attack Drones hovered in the upper levels.
Both Jake and Mina are deep in the back of the nightclub to be within a private room with the sounds of the club deafening inside. "Welcome to my kingdom my dear," Jake said to Mina looking at a huge fish tank inside a wall on the left side.
"Nice fish tank," she said to make small talk for Jake was all over her feeling up her waist and back.
"Forget that, I need you," Jake sits down on a couch with Mina standing in front of him to turn on the music. "Time to take out off, nice and slow," Jake said as Mina's green eyes widened at this.
"Oh, what?" she asked.
"Take it all off for me, baby," Jake said in a lustful tone for made Mina feel deeply uncomfortable.
"Oh shit," she thought. "Oh, how about we get some drinks and relax a little," Mina said as Jake pulled out a pistol. This shocks Mina and makes her body stiff.
"You think I am stupid Mina Mongoose; I know who you are. Your face is on the news but I enjoy what I see. Also, don't bother with those color powers," Jake said as Mina began to power up and nothing happened.
"What the hell?" she questioned as Jake pointed to her neck.
"That is a control collar, it nullifies powers to make super-powered beings easier to imprison. Miles made that tech himself and it's proving quite useful," Jake said as he had got her where he wanted her as Mina felt very stupid right now.
"Damn it, what do you want?" Mina asked but Jake looked at her chest as the answer was obvious.
"You are a very lovely woman Mina; you look so good in that outfit. Every inch of your body filled it out so well, give me a good time and I will make you very happy," Jake said pointing the gun to make her strip for him.
"Damn it, I need to keep him distracted until I can think of something," Mina said as she takes out her boots to show off her pretty little feet. Jake sees her toenails are painted blue.

"That's awesome, let's get out of here before anyone notices," Fiona said as Mina got to the door to hear Jake moving behind her.
"Stupid Bitch," Jake pulls out his pistol but Mina easily sends out a wave of energy to knock him into a wall killing him on impact.
"That creep being dead would be a blessing to girls everywhere," Mina said as she got out of the room. "Girls, we need to go," Mina said as the robot detected the owner was dead and began targeting Mina she lobbed fireballs at them to destroy them. Crowds of people flee for their lives while others stay and watch the destruction happening now.
"Gee, what happened?" Bunnie fires her arm cannon to begin shooting Assault Drones out of the air.
Fiona pulls out a blaster pistol from her bag to blast away Swat Bots and Assault Drones with precise shots.
"Make way," Mina unleashes her Rhythm power to let loose waves of sound from her muzzle to blow away groups of robots to slam them into walls.
"You got a killer voice, seriously," Fiona said as Mina grabbed Fiona to speed off to leave a sonic boom behind with Bunnie following after them.
"We need to dash out of her before Miles sends backup. Can't risk them tracing us," Mina said as they got into the shuttle to fly off into the distance. "Wow, insane. We got 2 out of 21 Anarchy Beryl gems. We are on a roll," Mina said as they escaped to leave the Casino Nights club in chaos.
