Chapter 69: Dog Eat Dog World Pt 2
Miles is disappointed with Cream as she is useless in the end. Zooey and Honey are looking to be quite wary of this. "Poor Cream, she fought for you and the others overpowered her," Zooey said as Miles gave them a nasty look.
"She was weak and she deserved what she got. I hope you two don't disappoint me like she did or you will be replaced," Miles said as he walked up to him to point to each of them. "Mind yourselves and you better maintain a high level of competence or you will be punished or worse," Miles said as Honey and Zooey were bothered by this.
"Gee, he left her to die in the dirt. I hope I don't get into that situation," Zooey said as Honey looked down at her feet.
"We all know he wants Mina Mongoose. She is built like a goddess, I can't blame for him wanting her," Honey said as Zooey was bothered by this.
"We need to be useful and then he will love us," Zooey said, her voice showing doubt.
"What choice do we have, we were nothing before he showed up in our lives. Mina had a somewhat normal life in Okina City but we were at our lowest points to be brought up by our master," Honey said.
"Yes, we need to be not like Cream and track down Smalls and hid criminal lords who work under him," Zooey said.
"With Max, the Dog Lover. Sonic and his friends can handle this one to do us a favor," Honey said as they dismissed their duties.
Elsewhere, Sonic, Mina, Fiona, and Bunnie are in a small mountain village trying to ask about Max and his dog fighting arena.
"Max, one of Smalls' crime lords. I don't want to get in involved with that weirdo," a villager said as Bunnie groaned at this.
"Well, that was helpful," Bunnie said dryly.
Fiona goes over to another house to ask for information about Max and his arena. "Hello there, do you know about Max and his arena?" she asked.
"That weirdo, his arena is based within the mountains. Only the highest clients go there, not normal folks like us. Don't go there," the man said to close the door.
"That was useless," Fiona said as Mina went to a wooden building to see an old woman approaching the door.
"Yes young lady, you need someone?" she asked.
"Yes, my group is trying to find Max and his arena," Mina said as the old woman was deeply bothered by this.
"That monster, he and his goons kidnap innocent dogs and kill each other over the blood sport. Those poor creatures are being gloomed by that monster, don't go near him," the old woman closes the door.
"Okay then," Mina said as Sonic went up to a door to meet with an older gentleman.
"You dude, I need to know Max and his hideout so I can kick his ass," Sonic said as the older man is pleased with this.
"Oh, you will take out that weirdo?" he asked.
"Yep. I and my friends are trying to find his lair. Do you have information that can be handy for us?" Sonic asked.
"Well, Max is pretty skittish if you assault his front door. He will go and run away taking his belongings with him. Go on the stealth approach, there is a vent nearby which will lead you deep into his underground lair," the man points in a different direction.
"Thanks for the info man," Sonic said giving him a thumbs up.
"No problem, I am tired of his nonsense. Capturing dogs for his clients' sick pleasure along with his sick pleasures. Kill the guy for all our sakes," the man closes the door for Sonic while he goes over to the others.
He explains what he found out and Bunnie pats him on the back. "Good work Sugar hog, I had terrible luck," Bunnie said.
"People here seem to fear Max here. A real dirtbag for sure," Sonic said.
"So, the vent connecting to the hideout is in another village controlled by Max's goons and machines. But we need to sneak inside and get the drop on Max before he escapes," Mina said.
"Alright, this is my kind of game here," Fiona said as they went over to the next village nearby to see over the edge to see the vast wasteland below them. "Gee, I forgot how barren a lot of Downunda is," Fiona said feeling sad at the sight of the sands that spread out into the distance.
"Miles has been doing some bad things for the environment trying to expand while disregarding everything else planets, animals, and people alike," Bunnie said.
'It's very sad, this world is dying by Miles' hands and no one seems to care," Mina said.
"Well, since most people in this world are in it for themselves. It's to be expected," Sonic said.
"I heard about his Oil Ocean project to go to the Pearl Sea and collect those fossil fuels. It's good for making certain products but horrible for the ocean with his machines being very reckless about it," Belle said on the radio.
"Does the doctor help clean up the mess?" Sonic asked.
"Well, yes, but his machines are for helping people not fighting. So, Miles uses his Swat Bots to wipe out his Egg Pawns," Belle said as she felt sad about the cute robots trying to help others.
"We should be focusing on getting the Anarchy Beryl for now," Fiona said.
"Oh yes, of course. Find you find his hideout?" Belle asked on the radio.
"Yes, we did, it's in a mountain village nearby. We need to sneak inside to get the drop of Max and his goons," Sonic said.
"Yes Max is very vile and his love for dogs is very wrong," Belle said for she is thankful not to have a stomach because she would throw up from Max's deep love for his dogs.
"Gee, his love for dogs is not a good sight," Mina said as she was going to hate what she was going to see within his hideout. They find the village where Max's dog arena is located.
"Well, finding that gem and putting down Max would make the world a better place for these people," Belle said as Fiona was amused by this.
"Why even bother making this world better when its core is rotten," Fiona said.
"This world used to be good like in the years of the Great Peace but people like Scourge, Miles, and Smalls have made this world beyond rotten. Scourge has turned this world upside down, he is truly your opposite Sonic," Bella said.
"Yes Sonic is a beacon of hope in our world but Scourge seems to be an agent of chaos," Mina said.
"A twisted version of freedom," Sonic said.
"Right on point," Mina said as they saw a bunch of guards all over the village.
"Well, I wish you all luck," Belle said as they sneaked past the guards to head for the vent. They get into some bushes to evade guards while one is blocking their path.
"Allow me," Fiona said as she grabbed onto the guard with her robotic arms to snap his neck killing him instantly to pulling him into the bushes to hide him.
"At least it was quick," Sonic said as Fiona patted the fresh corpse for them to keep moving forward.
"Come on," Fiona said as they sneaked through the area to see lots of guards protecting their investments. "Gee, so many of these guys," she said as one of the guards bothered a civilian by punching him in the stomach.
"Seems like these guys like being bullies," Sonic said.
"Yes they do," Mina said as a thug shoved an elder man into the mud while laughing at him.
"Let's go," Bunnie said as they found the vent they were looking for.
"Perfect," Fiona carefully removes the covering letting them slip inside.
"Pretty tight here," Mina said.
"What's wrong bubble butt. Can't squeeze through," Fiona teased her.
"Gee, I can go through this," Mina said as they managed to get into the storage room for she rubbed her broad hips. "I managed," she said as they reached the door to hear music outside.
"Seems like no one noticed me got inside. Good, we are going to drop this fucker into next week," Bunnie said as Fiona opens the closed door to slip inside to see they are within a large kennel with horribly disfigured dogs barking and crying.
"Oh, my this is horrible," Mina said to feel sympathy for these poor creatures.
"This is too cruel," Sonic said as one of the dogs was getting very aggressive to bust down its cage door to lunge at Sonic. He swiftly kicks the door to knock it into one of the cages to get back up. He noticed the dog was mutated and much bigger than the other dogs.
"Gee, what's wrong with this dog?" Fiona wondered as Mina could sense it has Chaos energy.
"This dog is mutated with Chaos energy, this is insane," Mina said as she created a flashing disc that sliced the mutant dog in half becoming a burning corpse.
"He takes his breeding to crazy levels," Sonic said.
"Yes he does, using that gem's power to breed powerful dog fighters for his wicked games," Bunnie said as she was getting more mad about this.
"Let's keep moving," Fiona said as they go another section for lights to turn on them.
"So, you guys were the ones who killed Cream one of Miles' whores," Max said on the loudspeaker.
"Max, you monster. You turn these poor pups into killing machines," Bunnie said as she pointed her arm cannon at the loudspeaker.
"Well, I need to keep my clients happy, and using Chaos energy to mutant my lovely dogs is perfect," Max said as everyone was disgusted with this guy.
"Rat bastard," Bunnie blasts the speaker as Max laughs at them.
"I will keep my little beauty happy while my guard dogs will take care of you," Max unlocks the cages for the mutant dogs rushing at them bracing huge jaws.
"Oh, damn it," Bunnie gets ganged up on various several dogs with Fiona firing laser bolts to pierce their heads to put them down. Mina lifts a few mutant dogs with Hover with Sonic following up with several Homing Attacks.
"Bunnie," Sonic said as Bunnie used her raw strength to knock away all the dogs off her body.
"Little buggers, Bunnie uses her superheated blade to slice and dice with incoming mutant dogs. She uses a powerful kick to knock the dog into a pillar with enough force to bend it on impact. She fires an energy beam to split the wounded dog in half.
Fiona is dodging incoming plunges and lunges from the mutant dogs as some of them are firing energy beams from their maws. "That is new," Fiona catches the beams of energy into her robotic arms to power them up.
She tosses sticky grenades to latch onto a few dogs for the blasts to tear them into pieces of meat. She catches more energy beams to power up further. "Hush Puppies," Fiona charges up her robotic arms to pound onto the ground to unleash powerful waves of energy to rip apart the monster dogs.
Mina is kicking and blasting Chaos-infused dogs. "Quake," she drives her foot down onto the floor to erupt spears of stone to impale several mutant dogs. Blood pouring from the corpses and painting the stone spikes.
Sonic powers up his legs to unleash waves of energy crescents to slice up the mutant dogs. He rolls out of the way of the dogs to run off the cages to use his Bounce attacks to break their spines on impact. Sonic uses a combo of Homing Attacks and Bounce Attacks to kill off the nearby mutant dogs.
"Come on Max, how about you face us without using your rejects," Sonic said as Max did not like this for them to go through his compound.
Sonic and the others bust into the arena where two powerful-looking dogs are trying to kill each other. Hundreds of Max's clients are cheering for the two mutant dogs fighting in a death match.
"Well seems like the main winner is Big Mike," Max said on the loudspeakers with Big Mike ripping off a piece of the dog's spine with a chunk of meat and bone in its large fangs. The crowds cheer on with the group being disgusted by this.
"This is pretty brutal," Sonic said as the beast stared at them ready to bite their heads off.
"You bastards, how can you enjoy this?" Mina questioned the crowd for them to boo her.
"Shut up purple haired bitch, get off the stage," a client said.
"Well, seems like Big Mike has found another victim to play with. Time to another deathmatch," Max said on the loudspeakers with the crowd wanting Sonic and the others dead by Big Mike's jaws.
"Void," Mina summons a black hole to slam into the big dog to begin sucking it into the black orb until nothing is left leaving the black hole to implode. The crowd boos at them again as Max sighs at this.
"Seems like you need to know some manners. I need to get into something more comfortable to greet you," Max said as they went down the hallway to meet a few guards but Fiona easily killed them with headshots with her laser pistol.
They go into Max's chambers to get hit by an awful smell they see a few dead female dogs on the floor. "Poor things," Bunnie said as Mina looked at them to see something very disturbing.
"Their rears are bleeding," Mina said as a dark thought crept within her mind which almost pushed her on the verge of rage. Sonic looks over at a bed to see another female dog lying there barely alive with her rear bleeding and looking rough as well.
"Oh boy," Sonic said as a video is playing on one of the screens to show Max's favorite activity to show deep love for his favorite bitches.
"So how do you like my handiwork?" Max asked as everyone is freaking out to see a video of Max having sex with his favorite dog on the bed. The dog is yelping helplessly while this monster pretending to be a man is having his way with her.
"You sick fuck, you take pleasure sexually abusing dogs," Mina said feeling like her heart is going to explode.
"Why not, I am a wolf Mobian. Why not go for something closer to home," Mac said as Mina was very angry with his flawed logic.
"We Mobians are genetically related to Humans to the point of being a human subspecies which is why Mobians and Humans can interbreed. Meaning this very wrong and evil, you are raping harmless animals here. We are going to put you down and end this nightmare," Mina said.
"Oh boy, trying to be the heroes here huh? Come serve justice," Max said as they went through a door close by. They head inside a wide-open warehouse area to see Max piloting a powerful serpent-type mech which is powered by an Anarchy Beryl.
"Time to face the music, Max, this operation of yours is over," Sonic said as everyone was determined to put this guy down.
"How sad, all the heroes in this world died long ago. All heroism gets you is an energy bolt through the back," Max said as the mech serpent goes online to launch a barrage of energy missiles. Bunnie summons a barrier of energy to block his attacks.
Fiona captures energy from one of the missiles to lob an energy blast to cause some damage to the mech serpent. "Fiona, Scourge's little bitch. Trying to play hero now?" Max questioned as he lunged at Fiona with her rolling out of his path.
"Shut up, not your concern," Fiona tosses EMP grenades with the mech managing to avoid her tosses. The Mech Serpent slams its head onto the floor to unleash a wave of energy to knock Fiona away.
"Too bad Fiona, you could have worked with Smalls. You would have wealth beyond your wishes," Max said as he was driving the mech serpent trying to push them back. The tail of the robot hits Bunnie and sends her flying into the air.
"I would rather die than be working nearby a dog fucker like you. If he hired you in his group, then he has very low standards," Fiona said.
"I am a very cultured man with excellent taste," Max said as Sonic and Mina used their Boost attacks to slam into the head of the mech to knock it into a wall.
"Dude, screwing with dogs is beyond creep levels," Sonic uses Diamond Dash to smash into the side of the head further damaging it.
"Enough, time to put my machine at high gear," Max puts his mech into full combat mode for it uses all the energy of the gemstone to unleash a big beam of energy to slam into Mina knocking her into a wall.
"Mina," Sonic said as he went into his Mystic Form to begin launching explosive bubbles to hit their target to push it back.
"Interesting," Max said as it dug into the ground to leave behind bombs triggering large explosions and knocking them around.
"Oh no you don't," Sonic drags the machine back out of the hole with a fiery pillar to knock it back onto the floor. Bunnie uses her super strength to hit the side of the robot to knock it into a wall leaving a dent behind.
Mina goes into her Rainbow state to conjure balls of plasma to toss them at the machine. The mech puts up a powerful shield to protect from taking any more damage. Mina makes a bunch of clones to make them head for the shielded mech.
"Nice trick," Max makes the mech unleash a constant beam of energy to take out the clones but they explode electric blasts. A few of the clones made it and used their lightning blasts to disable the shield. Fiona uses her EMP grenades to disable the mech barely functioning.
"Damn it, come and eat them alive," Max unleashes his mutant dogs to protect him while he restarts his machine.
"Gee, what a coward," Sonic said as he burned away nearby monsters with Mina impaling them with her stone spears. Fiona takes the energy into her arms and pounds the ground to unleash surges of energy to vaporize all the monster dogs around her.
Bunnie is crushing the monster dogs with her robotic limbs and blasting them with her arm cannon turning them into mincemeat.
Max powers up his machine as it gathers energy into the air for it to spew out small orbs to seek out their targets. Bunnie pulls up her barrier to protect them from the barrier with Sonic using his Light Speed Attack to pierce the orb to make it explode knocking him backward.
Mina uses Laser to become a ball of light to spear through the body of the machine to grab the Anarchy Beryl in her hands. "You are done," Mina said as the machine was depowering down becoming much weaker and slower.
"Damn it," Max tries to fight back but Sonic blitzes the machine at light speed to trash the machine with ease. He strikes the cockpit and knocks Max onto the floor. "Please have mercy," Max begged for his life with Bunnie grabbing his neck.
"Those dogs you twisted into monsters, forced them to fight to the death and you raping dogs. They deserve mercy, you deserve to die," Bunnie tosses him onto the ground and caves in his head with her metal foot instantly killing him.
"Well one less dog fucker in the world," Sonic said as Mina nods her head.
"Yes indeed, we got the gemstone. Let's get out of here," Mina said as they sped back to the transport to leave behind the complex in disarray.
Elsewhere Smalls is not pleased to hear that the complex is in ruins and one of his best men is killed off. "There goes a major money income up in smoke," Smalls said as another one of the lieutenants was not amused with that.
"That dog lover had it coming. He got lazy and now he has died because of it," the man said.
"Yes Ash but at least Cream is dead from this. Making Miles' forces weaker, as a result, so it's not a total loss. So how is your music business going?" Small asked.
"Going pretty well, too bad Miles took my Mina to be in his harem bodyguards. I got my eye on the new Mina who just came in. She got the curves and attitude to make me a lot of money," Anti-Ash said.
"Indeed, but that woman controls all the powers of the Wisp making her very dangerous," Smalls said.
"Don't worry about it, I will take her by force if I need to," Anti-Ash said as he laughed to himself to have Mina on his sights.
