Chapter 77: Tribe or Hunger Pt 2
Sonic and Mina go to fight Chaos 4 leaping out of the lake using its fish-like body to unleash waves of water trying to swamp the area. Mina emits an aura of rainbow energy to power up rows of fireballs to vaporize the incoming waves of water. She unleashes rows of stone spikes trying to nail Chaos 4 with Sonic bouncing off the pillars.
Chaos 4 evades her attacks but Sonic strikes the head to knock out Chaos 4 to seep back into the lake. Mina begins to fly with her Hover powers to float over the water's edge with her hovering Sonic beside her.
"It slips back into the water," Mina uses Void to warp the lake with gravity energy, trying to determine where Chaos is. "Found it," she crushes the orb of water to see Chaos 4 slip out to tackle Mina to slip into another body of water.
Sonic gives himself a Bubble Shield to head into the water to run at the monster. "You are not getting away that easily," he said as Chaos 4 is stronger but more limited due to its fish-like nature. Only able to move in bodies of water to slam into Chaos 4 with his Bubble Shield.
Mina comes up to tosses bolts of lightning to strike the head of the monster to seep into the water. "Not again," she zaps the lake to damage Chaos 4 within the lake. The water beast unleashes waves of water to push both of the couple back away.
She holds herself in mid-air to hover there to fly towards the waves of water with Chaos 4 holding them back to use her Ghost power to faze through the attacks to pull blades of lightning from her wrists. She swings her lightning sword to cut down the beast.
She creates clones of herself to strike the beast several times to stab her blades into its head to take it down. She sees Chaos 4 splitting into five orbs trying to strike her down. She made clones that explode to take out the incoming water orbs.
Sonic uses Light Speed Attack to strike the central orb to damage Chaos 4 while Mina and Sonic use a combined Boost attack to slam into the monster to finally put it down. "Okay, we managed to take it out," Sonic said.
"What is your progress?" Belle asked on the radio.
"We are getting close. We will put this to rest soon enough," Sonic said.
"Good, keep going. The others are taking care of the other clones," Belle said as the duo went deeper into the caverns.
Silver goes to an abandoned town to see Chaos 0 copy walking around. "Found you fiend," Silver lifts a piece of debris to toss it at the monster. The copy uses its limbs to form blades to slice the incoming tossed rubble. Silver uses Psyshock to strike the monster to launch it into a building.
He lifts all the pieces of rubble to crash down onto the monster. Chaos 0 leashes out with its long arms to break through the pile of rubble.
It summons a barrage of water needles while Silver lifts debris with his mind to block the attacks. "Psyslice," he swings his arms to release two blades of psychic energy to crave into Chaos 0. It breaks apart to fling its water orbs into Silver.
He managed to lock them in place with his mind to slam them onto the ground and then crush them with a powerful psychic grip. Silver lifts a broken building to crush Chaos 0 to defeat it.
"Well, I managed to take out the threat Belle," Silver said in his earpiece.
"Good, only one left. Miss Hedgehog will deal with the last one," Belle said as Silver flew back to the research center.
Bernadette is looking for the last Chao 0 copy to be within a small cavern trying to find Chaos 0 copy. "I am in a position, I am looking for the copy within these caves," Bernie said as she checked her wrist rings holding her energy wrist blades.
"Good, your copy is the last one. Sonic and Mina will deal with Tikal," Belle said.
"It's a real shame. I heard stories about the Echidnas within my dimension. They have a long bloody history of conflict within different tribes," Bernie said searching through the rocky tunnels with Chaos 0 watching her from the shadows.
"What is the history behind that," Belle asked.
"Echidnas in my world were violent and power hungry. They were the first powerful civilization after the Xorda along with the super volcano returning everything to zero. Different sects of clans were fighting over control over the planet. Then Chaos shows up and wipes out almost all of them for trying to steal the emeralds for their selfish ends," Bernie said.
"That is quite a tragedy," Belle said.
"Now my son said there are only two left. Knuckles and Shade. Sadly the only ones currently left on the planet," Bernadette said as Chaos 0 is preparing to ambush Bernie.
"I see, once we are done with the teleporter. They are going to have even more Echidnas than they can handle," Belle said as Bernie looked over to use wrist blades to slice incoming orb of water.
"I will talk to you later, I found my target," Bernie said as she used her Shield Dash to slam into the water creature to knock it into a wall. Chaos 0 tosses orbs of water with her using her Homing Attack to strike the spheres while getting closer to the target. She slams into the head of the copy to make it move away.
Chaos 0 is trying to launch its long limbs trying to strike Bernie. She managed to slice them up with her energy blades. Chaos 0 entraps her in an orb of water trying to drown her.
"Spin Slash," she curls up with her quills cloaked in holo energy from her wrist rings to give them extra sharpness to slice through the water bubble to slice the clone in half. The two halves become two orbs to leash out waves of water needles trying to stab her to the floor.
She uses her Spin Dash to move out of the way to go along the side of the walls to dodge incoming attacks. She launches into the first orb to pop it wide open and then swings her holo blades to cut up the second water orb.
Chaos 0 reforms its body to turn its arms into blades to engage in a close-range fight with Bernie. She uses her blades to cut and slash while evading and dodging the clone's strikes.
"You will not best me at my own game," she said to deflect the strike to leave the monster vulnerable to a powerful Shield Dash to clash and grind against its body until the copy is destroyed. "it's finished," Bernie said.
"Remarkable, your record as a soldier is notable," Belle said giving her praise.
"No doubt about that," Bernie said rubbing her black long nose being humble about it. "I am going back to the research center," Bernie said to use her super speed to head back to the city.
"Good, that is all the Chaos 0 copies. Now we got Mina and Sonic to deal with Tikal and contain her," Belle said.
"My son and daughter-in-law will get the job done," Bernie showing complete confidence in her family to do.
Back with Sonic and Mina are getting closer to the chamber where Tikal is hiding. "Please don't go any closer. I don't want to hurt you," Tikal's voice echoed through the caverns with it becoming more distorted.
They see the copy of Chaos 6 appearing to stop them from getting closer to Tikal's location.
"We want to help you Tikal, You don't need to be alone here. The tribes want to help you," Sonic said.
"That is right, with their technology they can help you recover back to normal," Mina said.
"Reall, is that true?" Tikal said speaking through Chaos 6.
"Yes, just come out and we will put you in this container," Mina said as Tikal got anxious.
"No! You want to control me," Tikal said.
"No, you got it all wrong. We want to help you," Sonic said as Chaos 6 exploded with power to use projectiles of water trying to slam into the duo.
"Your blood will paint these walls," Tikal said through Chaos 6 with the Mina summoning clones to take the hits from the attacks. She flings them at the Chaos 6 to let them explode blowing off chunks of its body.
Sonic goes onto the wall leaps off and strikes the beast to knock it into a wall. Chaos 6 creates a wall of water to block Mina's fireballs but she uses lightning bolts to vaporize the water wall. Chaos 6 gathers water into its mouth to unleash a powerful beam of water.
This high-pressure beam is craving into the rocky surface as Sonic is running on the walls to avoid the water beam. Chaos 6 turns its gaze onto Mina to fire a beam at her. Mina powers up to launch a beam of flames to clash with the water beam. The two beams try to overpower each other while Sonic slides under the attacks to get underneath Chaos 6. He rolls up into a ball to use Diamond Dash to slam under Chaos 6 to push it higher into the air.
Mina summons a blue cube of energy to slam onto the beast to push it back down onto the ground. She combines Cube Quake to entomb it in a tight rocky prison to compress and crush the monster inside. She follows up with another fire beam to tear into it to do more damage.
Chaos 6 drives its water tentacles into the ground to spread it all around to tear up the situation. The couple use their speed to get away from the attacks but Mina gets hit to see her brown shorts get ripped apart showing off her purple silk panties.
"Damn it, my shorts. I liked those," Mina said as she was only in her sports bra and panties to use her attacks to press on Chaos 6. Tossing lightning bolts and fireballs to strike the big water creatures to make stone spears jet out of the ground stabbing into the beast.
Mina creates more clones to head for the monster with Sonic following up. Mina uses her clones to distract the monster with Mina and Sonic using Light Speed Attack/Laser. They both go at the speed of light with Chaos 6 trying to fight both but can't block the dual attacks.
They slice the monster managing to take it out permanently to clear the way to Tikal. "Finally, we managed to take them out. OH babe, your shorts," Sonic said as he marveled at the pretty panties she was wearing matching her beautiful purple hair.
"Oh, it got destroyed in the fight. Don't be too distracted by my undies," she said to make her tail and butt sway back and forth. She felt his eyes glued to her curvy bottom and lovely long tail.
"I will try," he said with a cheeky smile to race down the cavern to see Tikal sitting on a stone platform.
"Tikal, we are here to help you," Mina said.
"Please I need food. I need Chaos energy," Tikal said as she felt Chaos energy within Sonic. Hunger drives her to leap towards him. "Chaos energy, I need it. So hungry," Tikal said as Mina used Hover to make her float harmlessly in the air.
"Goodness, what happened to you?" Sonic asked with both looking concerned to see Tikal is losing her form which has no color and looks like she is melting. She is leaking a lot of Chaos energy the only thing holding her body and mind together.
"Please stop this. We were sent here by your people to help you," Sonic said.
"Lies," Tikal said as they both were signing at this. Sonic has a good idea that will prove they are with the clan.
"The servers are the 7 Chaos. Chaos is power... Power enriched by the heart. The controller is the one that unifies the Chaos," Sonic said as this chant which is Tikal's prayer calmed down Tikal to the point she returned to normal looking like he remembered her.
"You know my chant?" Tikal asked with her heart being at peace.
"Yes, we are here to truly help you out of this. What happened?" Sonic asked.
"Well, I was founded by this fox named Miles. He wanted to use my power for his ends," Tikal said as she could talk normally with the prayer managed to help her calm down.
"Of course, he would be involved in this," Mina said.
"He broke me out of the Ancient Onyx which I was sealed in along with Chaos," Tikal said.
"Why did you merge with Chaos like this?" Mina asked.
"It is a side effect of our bonding when we were both put into the Onyx. Chaos is under control and now I wield its powers," Tikal said as she turned her hands into water claws like Chaos 0 to be used as weapons.
"Well if you can use those water powers of yours. You can be useful to aid in finding the gems which will be used to get your clan to our safe dimension," Sonic said.
"Oh okay. You can take me to my people," she said as Mina drew her into the container to safely capture her.
"Well Belle, we got Tikal under lock and key," Sonic said on the radio.
"Good, this is good news. Bring her to the lab and I will help maintain her form. Her powers will be of use to fight Miles and Smalls," Belle said as they sped back to the labs in a flash. They see the wooden robot grab the container to put her in a healing tube to see Tikal go inside.
"Thank you for your help," Belle said.
"No problem," Sonic said as the couple went back to their home.
"Don't worry, you are in good hands," Belle said.
"Nice to see you Tikal, it's an honor to have you in our presence," O'Nux said bowing before her like some sort of goddess.
"Oh, you are the leader of the clan now?" Tikal asked.
"Yes and now I will do everything in my power to aid restoring you to normal. You will be under the watchful eye of my researchers to make sure you are okay," O'Nux said as Tikal nodded her head feeling touched by Anti Knuckles's kindness.
"Thank you so much. I will never forget this," Tikal said trying to hide a blush from this sweet gesture.
"Okay, Belle. Keep an eye on her and give me a report soon," O'Nux said as Belle nodded her head to be happy everything worked out.
"Okay," Belle said as O'Nux looked behind him to see how lovely Tikal was.
"She is as beautiful as I think she would be," O'Nux said walking away with the clan able to save one of their best guardians in history Tikal who will be a great asset in protecting Demon Island.
