Anne sat looking at the small boxes in front of her. She had looked through them all several times already, and couldn't think of where else to look. It had to be somewhere in the cabin, but she wanted to find it while they were still in port.
Frederick came into the cabin.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
"I can't find it," she said. "One of my necklaces, I mean."
Frederick looked at the boxes, then walked over to one of the cabin windows. Anne looked closely, and she realized that her necklace was hanging on a hook above the window.
