Well, another Valentine's Day has come and gone. At least for Lincoln Loud, as he spent the day at school, giving out and receiving valentines from his friends.
Lincoln: "Including this one from Ronnie Anne that just came in the mail. I hope she got mine."
As for the Loud Sisters, it's no surprise that they got heaps of valentines. Not just from their friends, but from other students at school. Considering they are some of the most popular people in town. While sitting on the couch reading his valentines, Lily walks over to Lincoln with a valentine she made herself.
Lily: "Lincoln! Made this valentine for you at school today."
Lincoln: "Aww!"
The valentine is a red heart made from construction paper, with little orange star stickers around the rim, with Lincoln's name spelled out in big letter stickers. The boy takes it from his sister to admire it.
Lincoln: "Thanks Lily, it's beautiful!"
Lincoln says before giving Lily a big hug and kiss. Just then, Lisa comes up. Amongst all the cards she has gotten, she hands the top one to her brother. This one is a little yellow card with a red heart sticker on the cover.
Lisa: "This Valentine is for you as well, elder brother."
Lincoln: "You made one for me too Lisa?"
Lisa: "Negative…this one is from my best companion, Darcy." (Rolls her eyes): "For some reason, she considers you a friend."
Lola then pops over and hands her brother another Valentine. With this one being a little gray heart
Lola: "And this one is from my friend Meli."
Even though he's surprised…and a bit confused about why his sister's friends are making him valentines. Lincoln still appreciates the gesture, nonetheless.
?: "Lincoln!"
Everyone is caught by surprise when Lucy busts the door open.
Lucy: "There is someone here to see you."
Lincoln: "Oh…Why don't you let them in then."
Lincoln asks with a raised brow. But Lucy only lets out a small smile as she walks into the house.
Lucy: "They want to talk to you...outside."
Still confused, but not wanting to be rude, Lincoln gets up and walks out of the front door and onto the porch. But before he could ask any more questions the door was closed on him. He turns around and knocks on the door.
Lincoln: "Hey!"
?: "Hi Lincoln."
Turning around back, Lincoln is surprised to see Lucy's best friend Haiku standing in front of him. He's even more baffled now about where she came from as she was nowhere in sight when he walked outside.
Lincoln: "Hey Haiku. What's up?"
Haiku: "I…have something for you."
She hands him a valentine. The biggest Valentine that Lincoln has seen today. It's a huge black heart with red lace on it. And there's a little poem written on it. Or according to Haiku…a haiku.
Lincoln: "Vampire bats are black. The ocean sea is blue. There isn't anyone else I know who is very normal, but sweet as you."
Even though the poem is a bit…weird. Lincoln is still touched by it.
Lincoln (With a smile): "Wow Haiku! Thanks…Where she'd go?"
She's gone, and like before she is nowhere in sight. Lincoln then shrugs it off as he looks back down at the card with a smile.
Lincoln: "Still a nice card though."
But unknowing to Lincoln, his sisters, Lucy and Lola were watching the whole via the front window.
Lola: "Our brother, the ladies' man."
Lola whispers with a smirk on her face. Right before Lucy flips her little sister's long hair into her face.
Lola: "Bleh…Hey!"
The End
Yaakov Lubin: I hope everyone has a fantastic Valentine's Day this year!
