Chapter 31
Brooke 's pacing in the entryway of her home came to an end. When Rachel and Mouth confirmed that Eugene was with them.
Brooke thanked them and the call between the close friends ended.
Brooke put her cellphone away. And grabbed her car keys.
She looked to Lucas. Who's face was full of concern and worry.
(What's happening Brooke?) Lucas asked.
(He's safe. I'm going to where he is right now.) Brooke said.
(I'm going with you.) Lucas proclaimed.
Brooke didn't have it in her to disagree.
The two soon left the home. After a short drive.
Brooke parked and left the car. She used best spare key she used every so often.
And opened the front door to Mouth and Rachel 's house.
Mouth was there waiting. He looked to her with a softened expression.
(Rachel is upstairs talking to him.) Mouth said.
(I need to go to him. He needs to know.) Brooke replied.
(Brooke he doesn't want to go home with you. He doesn't want to talk to you or Lucas.) Mouth explained.
Brooke 's eyes filled with tears as he hugged her tightly.
