Jason and Kellie walked out to the SUV. Jason opened the door and waited for Kellie to get in the back seat, never taking his eyes off her. Kellie slid over to the middle seat and Jason got into the vehicle and shut the door.
Kellie leaned against Jason who put his arm around her and played with her hair. Kellie looked at Jason and then kissed him. Jason kissed Kellie back. They were still kissing when Jason barely registered Johnny get into the driver's seat just long enough to hit the button to close the partition.
"Are seriously planning to… in here with in the front?" Kellie asked as Jason kissed her neck.
"Not exactly," Jason answered between kisses, "No sense in having to put our clothes back on to get inside the house. But we can still make the most of the car ride."
"Though we jump through hoops and dance on wires
Walk on broken glass and play with fire
Though we're blindfolded when we turn on the light
I know everything will be alright"
Kellie and Jason didn't notice when they got to the house until Johnny knocked on the car door, startling them.
"Looks like we're home," Kellie whispered in Jason's ear.
"Not soon enough," Jason replied, opening the car door. He took Kellie's hand as he got out of the car.
"If you trust in true love
And you trust in time
If you trust in forever
Trust this heart of mine
We could lose ourselves
Just like lovers do
If you trust in me like I trust in you
Trust in me like I trust in you"
Once they were in the house and the door was closed, Kellie barely got her jacket off when Jason kissed Kellie, pulling her against him. Kellie continued kissing Jason while taking his jacket off him. Then they started to forget they were still near the front door. Jason stopped kissing Kellie long enough to take her shirt off.
Before Jason could kiss her again, Kellie bolted for the stairs, smiling and beckoning for Jason to follow her. Jason started to run after Kellie who tried disappeared up the stairs. Jason caught up to her as she stumbled slightly. Jason caught her, steadying her. He kissed Kellie's neck, guiding her up the last few steps.
"Too many people have been let down
By broken promises on rocky ground
And there's cracks in the pavement
I don't wanna fall through
Hold on to me and I'll hold on to you"
At the top of the stairs, Kellie turned around to face Jason as he kissed her and kept the two of them moving down the hall towards their bedroom.
Kellie began to pull Jason's shirt up over his head. Jason finished taking his shirt off, throwing it on the floor. As they entered the bedroom, Jason unfastened Kellie's jeans, taking them off. Then Kellie pulled Jason down on the bed with her, reaching for his jeans. Jason helped Kellie get them off fasting before they started kissing and losing themselves in each other again.
"If you trust in true love
And you trust in time
If you trust in forever
Trust this heart of mine
We could lose ourselves
Just like lovers do
If you trust in me like I trust in you
Trust in me like I trust in you"
Sometime later Kellie and Jason were tangled up in the sheets. Kellie was curled up against Jason when she realized he was just gazing at her.
"What are you doing?" Kellie asked.
Jason took Kellie's hand pressing his hand on top of hers, atop her heart.
"Just taking in this moment with you," Jason said, tracing Kellie's face with this other hand, "Reminding myself not to take you or the happiness we've found with each other for granted."
Kellie blushed and smiled.
"I really make you that happy?" Kellie asked.
"Of course," Jason said, kissing Kellie's forehead, "Always."
Jason watched as Kellie looked somewhat stunned at his response and saw her eyes tear up slightly. He noticed the shift in Kellie as she realized she had shed tears and when she moved to sit up like she might leave, Jason moved up with her. He wrapped his arms around her.
"Did I do something to upset or hurt you?" Jason whispered to Kellie.
"No,I don't why I just teared up, I just…." Kellie answered, trying to avoid looking at Jason who turned her face gently towards him, "Cause you…. You make me that happy too."
Jason cupped Kellie's face, wiping her tears.
"Now, there are cynics with rusty knives
Trying to cut away the good in our lives
But I don't care what they believe
With you I have everything I need"
"I love you," Jason said, eventually, "And you're everything to me."
Kellie kissed Jason and then whispered in his ear, "Damn you, Jason Morgan, for making me fall in love with you in a way that will leave me wrecked if something ever happens to you."
Jason tried to stifle a laugh, but Kellie noticed.
"We both know I pretty much swore never to fall in love like this again," Kellie said, "I never thought I'd have anything like this again after I lost Tyler."
"I know," Jason said, sweeping Kellie's hair back, "That just makes everything we have together, the family we've built even more special. I wasn't looking for this either. I don't want to lose this for anything."
"Me neither," Kellie said, "Now less talking and more kissing and other things, Mob Boy."
Jason smiled. Then Kellie relaxed back into Jason as they continued kissing.
"And if you trust in true love
And you trust in time
If you trust in forever
Trust this heart of mine
We could lose ourselves
Just like lovers do
If you trust in me like I trust in you
Trust in me like I trust in you"
