Dante keeps on fighting demons. He was confronted by the Jester,who was loyal to Mundus. After being taken down,Dante was approached by Vergil,who brings him to Arkham. He explains that the Jester is pursuing a woman named Lady and also the amulet for the tower.
Dante and Virgil is confronted by the Hell Vangard,who nearly kills them,but gets blowned by Lady. She tells them that her mother was killed by a demon. Later,They are confronted by Cerberus. Dante quickly defeats it as Vergil fights with the Jester,who turns out to be Arkham. He reveals that Lady's real name is Mary,who happens to be his daughter. He used the Amulet to activate the tower.
Dante and Vergil fights with Arkham,who transforms into a blob like creature. The brothers work together to weaken Arkham. Lady approaches him and fatally shoots him for killing her mother. Later,Dante is joined by Lady as demon slayers as they battle against the demons.
