Marcus and Hermione left the warehouse after gathering their weapons, " We don't have to do anything here the spell ends in an hour or so and nobody is hurt just shaken up when it does and the Halloween world is created by drawing in all the chaos we will automatically shift over."
Hermione and the others that followed them made sounds of agreement, "We can scatter out a bit if we want and take out true monsters other than Spike and that seer of his they play a major role in the future," Tuxedo Mask said.
"I'm going to watch over the costume store, by changing Willow's costume she may not go tell Giles, " Marcus told the group.
"I want to get a scan of the totem Ethan used as a focus for the spell, I'm not sure why he used it as Janus only holds a minor domain in chaos, " Hermione said as they walked.
"His major domain is change and gateways, I think one of the PTBs influenced him so Janus could open a gate to drain off the spell when it ends," one of the others said from the back of the crowd.
Hermione nodded with a few of the others while the rest thought over what had just been said.
"Alright guys you can decide who gets regular Sunnydale, Hermione and I are just using Halloween to burn a few months, though we may have to come back to this side to reach space to see if the spell went beyond Earth."
The others stopped to talk about who would have the world and who was going to Halloween, "You do know that Buffy may kill Angel while thinking she is Selen right?"
Marcus stopped and looked at Hermione his eyes widening, "I didn't think of that her kind of vampire has souls and heartbeats, if she scenes that he doesn't have a heartbeat she may kill him."
"I'll go to the shop you go warn Angel to keep in his home until tomorrow," Hermione said before leaning over and kissing his cheek.
He returned her kiss before she turned to find the shop to get her scans, walking through the town he avoided the children changed to their costumes while cutting down the true monsters.
He was nearing the Summers' house when he spotted Angel also taking out the true monsters and avoiding the children.
"Angel you need to get away from here, "Marcus called out causing the souled vampire to turn on him game-faced.
"Why should I?" he asked his face turning to look human.
"Buffy dressed as a vampire that kills other vampires no questions asked just killing, in the world her costume is copied from she killed all but the oldest vampire, and the only reason that is because she doesn't know where he sleeps, oh and she is working with the strength of a vampire and the Slayer," Marcus said while dodging the kids.
Angel looked to be ready to ignore him until a woman in a black trenchcoat came running toward him, "Dammit," Marcus cursed as he got between Buffy/Selen.
"You need to not kill anything, you are inhabiting someone else right now and are about to try and kill her boyfriend," Marcus said while keeping Angel behind him and taking a few bullets in the chest of his armor keeping them from pricing him.
"Why should I believe you?" Buffy/Selen asks holstering her guns and pulling a sword.
"Look around us these aren't true monsters they are children caught in a spell and when it is over your host will remember everything you've done and right now she is innocent, kill one of these will destroy her, the magics that empower her are meant for protecting humans and will collapse in on her to punish her for your actions," Marcus said while using his staff to redirect her sword.
That caused Buffy/Selen to stop and look at the monsters around them noticing that most were small, "And him?" she asks while eyeing Angel.
"Cursed with a soul as punishment for his actions a few centuries ago," he replied as she stepped back to look around more.
Lowering her swords she nodded then stumbled, Angel made to help but her sword came up pointing at his heart.
"What happened to you?" Marcus asked.
"Someone in a cape broke into the house I woke up in and attacked me but ran off after I fought back he got a lucky hit in with his claws and got my ribs," she answered while keeping an eye on Angel.
Marcus saw the blood now and sighed, the wound would kill Buffy again after the spell ended, and pulling a sword from his hip he ran his palm against the blade cutting it.
Cupping his hand to hold the blood he stepped closer, "Open up, and no biting," he told her causing her to look confused.
"I don't drink from humans," she said stepping back only to be stopped by his free hand shooting out and grabbing the back of her neck, then holding his hand under her nose.
Eyes going feral she grabbed his hand and pulled it to her mouth and drank as if from a cup, when she opened her mouth to bite he wrenched his hand back pulling her back to reality.
"What are you?" she asked while feeling her wounds closing and strength flooding her.
"Asgardian and that should keep you going and if it follows you home you should not have to feed for a few hundred years," Marcus said casting a spell to collect his blood from the ground and burning it.
"And what happens to Buffy?" Angel asks when the blood is gone.
Marcus shrugged, " Increased strength and healing until her body purges the blood, the Slayer spirit doesn't like outside help."
Willow/Jedi suddenly dropped down to land on his shoulders trying to use her weight to drive him to the ground.
"Hello, ma'am you need to be careful the body you're inhabiting isn't trained to take the punishment you put yourself through," Marcus said looking up at the astonished face of the unknown Jedi knight.
"You were attacking her," she said while looking down and feeling her knees ache from the impact.
"Vampire she needed the blood to heal and her host would have died from a punctured lung from a hit she took earlier, she refused the blood and this world will fall if she does," Marcus said just before a wave of magic passed over the group.
If Angel were human Willow would have hit the ground hard, Buffy was wretching from the taste of blood in her mouth barely noticing her friend falling.
"Let's get her to my place," Buffy said after the want to vomit passed.
If Marcus had been there he would have stopped them but as the magic took him and the others who were not supposed to stay after the spell ended to Halloween world he did not see Angel trying to enter the Summers's house and be flung away dropping Willow in shock, he was ash before he hit the ground, his soul lingered in the door standing over Willow.
"You stupid girl, the demon was in control the curse only made it feel what a human would and your actions were breaking the bonds it had been going from girl to girl looking for the one who would set it free and you were close to doing just that," the soul spat out angrily.
Hermione easily found the costume shop, entering it from the front door she made her way to the back room where Ethan set up the ritual, she found Ethan kneeling in front of the statue of Janus but jumped to his feet when Hermione came in.
"I'm afraid we are closed and you are intruding on a religious observance," Ethan said while trying to hide his reaching for a weapon.
Hermione waved him off, "Calm down, you called on Lord Janus to power your magic tonight and I wish to speak with him through the conduit before it's finished," Hermione said while scanning the magical aura of the spell and the statue with two faces.
Ethan slowly stepped away hoping to survive if this empowered woman decided to attack, " Just be careful, if anything happens to the statue the magic ends."
Hermione nodded as she finished her scans, " If you ever do this again you should use Norse runes instead of Egyptian glyphs add a bust of Loki, he would help Janus to empower the magic and it'll be more stable, those two love a good prank."
Ethan was nodding with a smile only pranksters could pull when they get an idea for a prank that would allow them to get the best possible reaction from the prank, "Yes thank you, I will keep that in mind."
"Also test it on a smaller Hellmouth, the one here may be interrupting the magic, if you set up a scanning tool before you start it off you will see if there is a way to make the spell more stable," Hermione spoke absently as she moved her staff to be planted on the floor, where it began to glow.
"Also find someone to sell the costumes while you can hide your actions if you do it here in Sunnydale Rupert Giles lives here and I know the two of you have a history," she said as the glow covered the bust of Janus.
Ethan's smile fell when she mentioned Rupert, "Yeah and I may not survive his anger."
By now a figure had formed over the bust, speaking in Alteran now, "Hello lord Janus I've only contacted you to thank you for the opportunity you have given me and my mate,"
"You're welcome my dear, I have enjoyed the changes you mate made to my unknowing priest and his friends it's made this event more interesting than the others I've powered," Janus answered in Alteran.
Hermione smiled, "I believe he added something to Xander's costume to allow him to keep more from tonight than he has in the other worlds, oh I've recommended that if Ethan can do this again also call on Loki, it should make the night more fun plus the two of you could get together for a few meetings and work on it."
Janus could only look at her in astonishment before his faces burst out laughing, " I must thank you, my dear there will be another Halloween in a few worlds over I'll speak with Loki about getting that Ethan to do it your way to see how it turns out, name a boon and it shall be yours."
"You've already given us powers and knowledge," Hermione said while smiling.
"Yes, but the companies pay for the power-ups also you are the first in a thousand of these events to thank me as well as offer advice," Janus answered while wiping away the tears from his laughter.
Hermione stood there for a moment thinking over the offer, " Xander and Cordelia are shafted in most worlds let them keep the skill and knowledge here in this Sunnydale without losing themselves to the people they are at the moment."
Janus smiled at her request, by a mortal asking this would lock it into the world in a way the PTBs can not remove it and begin marked by himself if they harm either Xander or Cordelia he can enter the realm and dispose of these weak want to be God's.
"Granted, you know a boon is meant for yourself, but you give it freely to aid others, your mate is a lucky man."
"Yeah I know but I like Xander and Cordelia got it bad later and it starts with Willow casting a love spell on Xander just to break the two up, if she does that here the powers or skills they will have should keep that from happening," Hermione said after a few seconds of thought.
"True I am going to leave Willow Rosenberg powered as well that will keep her from being able to do more than scry, plust as a Jedi knight the training in the force she will still be able to protect herself."
Hermione nodded as he spoke, "I have taken enough of your time, I just wanted to thank you and get a copy of this spell, you never know when it will come in handy I may find a place that I think needs the change."
"Yes and I must speak with Loki so we may plan our cooperation in the next one," Janus answered with a smile before his image fades away.
Releasing the glow of her staff she turned to find Ethan staring at her eyes wide, " Lord Janus wishes for you to try again in Cleveland and call upon Loki as well."
Just after she spoke the bust fell off of the pedestal ending the spell as it shattered on the ground, as the wave passed her she faded from his sight.
Ethan looked around his shop shrugging he began to pack up everything which took him a few hours and he was gone before Giles found the empty shop.
The following morning the Scooby gang plus Cordy met in the school library, Buffy looked devastated from both the loss of Angel and the words his soul yelled at her before it disappeared.
Willow was sitting with her best friend trying to comfort her in her loss, " We'll find a way to get him back."
"No we won't his dust was blown away and his soul was angry at me for loving him and almost freeing the demon," Buffy whimpered tears falling down her cheeks.
Off to the side to give the two some privacy Xander Cordy and, Giles were speaking.
"I tried to tell them that her dating Dead Boy would end badly," Xander said while looking over at the two.
"Slayer's are a stubborn lot ," Giles said while also glancing over.
"He was hot and all but I can't see how she loved him, I mean he had no pulse so how would that have even worked?" Cordy asked causing the two men to look at her confused.
"What?"
"I don't think it was ever thought of on her part I think it was someone on the same strength level as she was ," Giles said with Xander looking sick as his mind glimpsing a dark path no man or woman should travel.
"Let's not go that way, it only leads to bad and we get enough of that, " Xander said shivering.
Cordy and Giles could only nod at his statement feeling that they didn't want to know where his mind took him and cause his shiver.
"Umm quite right, can either of you tell me what happened last night?" Giles asked absently cleaning his glasses.
The two alternately spoke about meeting Marcus just before they could decide to go to Ethan's shop, and him selling her the costume of Catwoman and the stuff he had given Xander.
Just as they were getting to the point where they were escorting the kids when the magic hit them a Ghost appeared at Xander's shoulder.
"I have the events recorded from last night at least from the time after the unknown energy swept over Xander and miss Chase," the Ghost said.
Giles jumped at the Ghost appearing and speaking while Cordy was petting it until a second Ghost seemed to split off and scan the room with a glowing light beam before it stopped facing Cordy and phasing into her chest startling her.
"Hey no groping," she nearly shrieked.
"My apologies but as you are my Guardian I must bond with you," the newest Ghost said with a distinctly feminine lilt in its voice.
Willow and Buffy had come over at the commotion, just as the second Ghost came out of Cordy's chest and hovered over her shoulder.
"That was an odd sensation," the first Ghost said just as Willow and Buffy touched it.
A third Ghost appeared and scanned the room before bonding with Willow while Buffy pouted until Cordy's touched her spawning one that went to Buffy.
When the teens looked at Giles he shook his head, "No thank you," he said while putting his glasses on and looking at the group.
"Would you like me to project the recording from last evening?" Xander's Ghost asked.
After everyone agreed they watched Xander as a Guardian went around fighting the monsters knocking them out or dusting a few vampires including Spike and Dru after somehow finding their lair.
In a higher plane, a group of three beings argued over their plans being destroyed and how to get them under control again as they watched the Scooby gang.
"We must rewrite time and force Harris and Chase to choose different costumes and destroy those cat statues," The Wolf growled out.
The Ram and Heart agreed with him but before they could voice that a new voice spoke up in dual tones.
"They fall under my protection now and if you so much as harm or cause them harm I shall wipe you three from existence."
"Janus this world is ours and you have no claim on the mortals within," The Ram spat out.
"I was called to the world by a mortal who turned down a boon until she accepts the boon the world falls under my domain."
"But you empowered Harris, Chase, and Rosenberg," The Heart complained.
"Yes I did but she did not accept the boon for herself, that leaves a door for me in the world and who are you to dictate rules to me you little worms," Janus boomed shaking the realm and forcing the three to their knees.
"And as we are in alliance the world falls under my protection as well," a new voice spoke up adding pressure to the three.
"I've already disposed of Jasmine and Glory, adding you three and elevating another pantheon to your level is nothing to us."
"A thousand years until the boon is forfeit, until then you watch and scheme, I have a geas on the world if you so much as interfere with the mortals you cease to exist, and the demons and other monsters will be there for you to toy with then, your law firm may still function as is and you get your deals," Janus said letting up on the pressure.
"I've had a priest in the world already and left you three alone even with the trouble you cause, and they will inform me if you overstep the bounds, so it is a thousand years or destruction you chose," Loki added.
In unison, the three spoke, "We accept."
"The pact is made," Janus and Loki spoke with hints of triumph in their voices as they left the realm leaving the three to realize that they had been tricked into agreeing.
In a higher plane Loki and Janus watched as realization struck the three, "A little flex and they buckle under a few seconds later," Loki said while laughing.
"Yes that was fun we'll have to try it on the next Halloween you can decide how to handle those three over there," Janus said with a smile.
"So what do I do with Jasmine and Glory?" Loki asked holding up two glowing orbs.
"Send Glory home it's all she wanted, Jasmine can go with her as a pet or something," Janus answered.
"Thanks, Gramps," the orb that was Glory tinkled while Jasmine could be heard crying as she realized a higher being was now her master.
"Gramps?"
"Her home is in a failed Halloween world, the chaos birthed her, and when some righteous goody tried to clean the chaos it hurt her enough for someone to kick her out of the realm, all she wants is home so she can have it, and since I am part chaos she sees me as her grandfather, " Janus answered while opening a small hole.
Loki placed the orbs in the portal, "Have fun girls."
"Alright let's plan out the next event I want to see what those companies offer up to use it," Loki said as they walked off.
Back in the Halloween world Hermione looked around the store and saw a copy of Ethan, "You're in trouble, the spell became a permanent change I suggest you find Giles and hope he doesn't kill you."
Ethan jumped to his feet while looking at the broken bust of Janus then around the store and seeing the monsters still running around outside when they should have reverted to human.
Hermione left the man to his fate as she went to rejoin Marcus and the others to see who was still in the world, along the way she found that most of the people kept their changes while regaining their human minds but not all did so.
Nearing the warehouse she found the three they helped change to Asgardian as well as the group with Tuxedo Mask, the rest had either already left for home or went to explore.
" Have you all decided what you are going to be doing?" she asked when she approached.
"Explorer and help where we can," Tuxedo Mask said with his group nodding.
"Same here we plan on going to see what tech is now available out there," the other man said getting agreeing nods from his companions.
"We plan to go to Cheyenne Mountain and see if the SGC is there and maybe Scotland to see if Hogwarts is there other than that we are just here to not get bored while waiting for Destiny to finish getting fixed up, home is nice but I am trying to not fall into the same mindset the original Hermione did," she said while looking around for Marcus.
Marcus stumbled with the wave causing the Jedi knight to fall off his shoulders, "Everyone alright?"
Angel was looking around game-faced then he attacked the Jedi only to be stopped by Marcus who grabbed him in a bear hug from behind.
"Guess the soul didn't get copied over," he stated then looked to the two girls looking at him in shock as he was holding Angel easily.
"Names, please?"
"Willow." "Buffy."
"Alright let's get this over with, a mage cast a spell to turn everyone into their costumes, but the spell went wonky and copied everyone into this world that was meant to absorb the chaos magic but it didn't bring this guy's soul, and I know of no way to get it back being outside the reality where his soul is now, " Marcus said while he tightened his grip on Angelus.
"How do you know we aren't in our world?" Buffy demanded.
"Lookup," he said causing the two to gasp when they saw the blood-red sky.
"Okay that isn't normal, so what about Angel?" Buffy asked.
"I'm sorry but it is either dust him or let him go to kill people and or constantly cause you trouble in this world where you can't afford the distraction."
Willow was looking at the two as they spoke, "Umm I think I kept the skills of the Jedi knight, and my costume is real Jedi knight robes, not just cloth."
Buffy stopped for a second and examined herself, " Guns and armor are real and so are the teeth but I don't feel the need for blood,"
" That's my blood doing, you were hurt and if the world reverted and you lost the power of Selen you would have died so I forced you to drink some to heal you should not need to feed for a few hundred years or so," Marcus told her.
Buffy looked to Angelus, "No soul or way to get it back?"
"No, I'm afraid not," Marcus said shaking his head.
Tears began to fill her eyes as she stepped close to the two, "I loved you, but goodbye," so saying she stabbing Angelus with a steak from inside her coat.
"Let's get her home then I need to find my girlfriend," Marcus told Willow who was nodding, scooping Buffy up he followed Willow.
Once at Buffy's house, he lay her on the couch, "Stay with her, she's going to be hurting for a while just don't forget that the town is going to be strange for a while I suggest finding who regained their mind's," he told Willow who had sat with Buffy's head in her lap.
"I'll send Xander to get Giles when he comes by," Willow said as she ran her fingers through Buffy's hair.
"I'm sorry she had to do that and if I didn't need to find my girlfriend I would hang around but she gets panicky," he said standing up to leave.
"It's not your fault and we've talked about this happening, she knew it was a possibility, in a few days she should be back to herself," Willow said
Marcus nodded and went to leave just as the door burst open to reveal Xander with his guns in real Ghost floating around his shoulder and Cordy right on his heels.
"What happened?" Xander asked upon seeing Buffy.
"Angel had to be dusted and she did it," Marcus told the two as he walked out of the house.
It took him a few minutes to return to the warehouse finding Hermione and the group they changed chatting.
"Well let's get going I want to get to Colorado sooner than later," he said while waving a hand to open the portal to get his and Hermione's bracers.
"These guys are going to Nevada to see if Area 51 was made, they'll send us scans of tech if it is there and we can send them scans from the SGC and Stargate."
"If you fly stay just above the treetops I've read in some fics that lighting will strike flying objects above a certain height, "Marcus said as he passed over her bracer and then strapped his on.
"I've only seen it striking man-made stuff but I think I saw a winged person a few hundred feet up," the other man said while also retrieving his group's equipment.
"Good hunting and be safe," Marcus said extending a hand.
The man grasped his forearm and they shook, "Good hunting."
The groups separated and walked off, "Put away the swords for now but keep the staff."
Hermione focused on her swords and they disappeared in motes of light, "Handy, but I'm not going to dismiss the armor until we get back to the house, I don't want to flash anyone."
Marcus laughed, "But you flash me all the time."
"Yeah but that's different you're the reason I am alive and going on adventures with you, and I've been trying to get in your pants for weeks so I will continue to flash you," Hermione said with a cheeky smile.
"Slow steps my dear, I know you want more but I don't want us to hurt each other as we go," he said putting an arm over her shoulder pulling her into a hug, and kissing her on the forehead.
She smiled at him, "I know but it is fun to tease you."
Marcus kissed her again then slowly as they walked they began to float off of the ground, "It should only take a few hours to get there."
Hermione rolled her eyes at his antics to get them flying, "Alright let's get going."
They took a Superman pose and took off at high speed, they saw groups of people fighting monsters.
"They are doing good fighting them, and it looks like some of the people are still powered up, I thought the winged person we saw was one of the group," Hermione said as they passed over a group of people fighting monsters.
"Yeah they are doing good but some places aren't doing so well but we won't be able to do something for them," Marcus said as they flew on.
"Why not?"
"The force and some tech that we won't understand until we get our hands on it."
"Oh yeah Star Wars stuff, I don't think I want to learn that, it'll be hard to keep balanced, one tilt one way or another and you fall under the pressure of light or dark."
" Yeah I know I am not even going to look at that power set but the technology is something I want to look at," Marcus said while swerving away from a large flock of birds.
"Let's speed up at this speed it'll take days to reach the area the SGC should be," Hermione said suddenly after looking at a map to find out where they needed to go.
Marcus nodded then picked up the speed Hermione matched him until they broke the sound barrier.
" We'll be passing into Utah in a few minutes , it's a straight shot through Utah, when we get to Colorado we go to Denver, we'll have to go slow I'm not sure if the base is real or not just that it is supposed to be between Denver and Colorado Springs," Marcus said just before they crossed into Utah.
Hermione swooped down to a tree and brok off a small branch then back up to join Marcus.
"Point me spell, " she said at his confused look.
Nodding they continued on crossing Utah in under a few hours, during the flight Hermione tied a small rope to the branch she had stripped of twigs and leaves.
"Point me SGC," Hermione cast letting the stick go, after a few seconds the stick pointed southeast.
She followed the pull on the stick, more than half the way across the state the stick swung to point at some mountains, in the air they couldn't see the entrance of the base but the discharge of weapons gave them a direction to follow.
Tapping his bracer he had it scanning the mountain for signals, finding a few he picked one and tapped into it to listen.
"This is Col. O'Neill, we have hostile lose in the compound, weapons are not fully effective."
Choosing that channel he spoke up, "Col. you need to order your forces to knock out not kill some of these creatures are only fighting back, they are humans changed by a energy wave that spread over the earth some of these things may be your people only changed."
Marcus watched as he waited for a reply, "Who is this?"
"Marcus, I am just outside the facility, I am going to be knocking out anyone I see not human as I make my way down to the gate room, if you have Carter near you she needs to drain the gates capacitors and lay it cartouch side down."
"She's already trying that, zats are the only thing other than T's staff that is knocking them down, "
"Wet the floors and shoot the floor with the zat ," Marcus replied dropping to the ground.
Immediately they were attacked by both monsters and humans, using his staff he moved through the attackers knocking them out with bullets bouncing off their armor, Hermione followed up by tying everyone up with conjured ropes.
"Col. we are on the way to you if the gate is opened before Carter gets it lying down do not close the iris just detain travelers unless you know them to be evil, some allies may be stranded without their people to help."
"Copy don't kill my people," O'Neill ordered.
"Knockouts and tied up to sort out," Marcus replied.
"Good, gates done a faceplant, why did I order that done by the way?"
"The gate has a sensor to detect objects that can interfere with the wormhole, if it finds something the gate won't connect," Marcus said while dropping a few people.
It took them twenty minutes to get to the elevator that was being guarded by a group of airmen, "Col. call the elevator to stop your men before we have to fight them."
"I need a description to give them, " was the reply.
"Male and female in Golden armor using staves to knock out violent people and creatures, names are Marcus and Hermione,"
" Making the call now, verification is Alpha Beta 5527, if you don't want to fight them don't forget."
Slinging the staff to his back holding up his hands and ensuring Hermione did the same, walking to the elevator they heard the phone ringing, one of the airmen went for the phone while the others kept their guns on them.
" Verification?" the one on the phone called out.
"Alpha Beta 5527," Marcus called out slowly walking to the group, the airmen at the phone looked them up and down then nodded.
"They are cleared to enter, Slade and Diggs, go find our people and release them, leave the non-humans tied up but do nothing to them we've just been told most of this is panic after some attack that covered the entire planet, the non-humans may be innocent and we'll have to verify each case."
Marcus and Hermione stopped in front of the group, "The ropes are made of solidified air double tap and say 'dissolve' to release them."
"Thanks, ma'am," one of the two sent to gather the soldiers called out.
The door opened to reveal the elevator compartment, "Col.O'Neill says that we are missing all but the level with the gate."
Marcus nodded, " We've got a scanner if we find a floor that has people we'll stop and clear it out for you guys to pick up your people and detain the rest."
"Thank you both," the airman said gesturing them into the elevator with one of the others following.
"If I say stop hit the stop button it means my scans are detecting something," Marcus told him as the doors closed receiving a nod.
The elevator started to move down and when they reached the tenth level Marcus called out "Stop," the airman hit the button causing the elevator to stop and move back up to level itself with where door should be.
" Let's ease the door open a bit to see what we have to deal with," Marcus said pulling a dagger from the small of his back and using it to pry the door apart to find a glowing blue portal in a cave.
From the portal a small blue fairy appeared, she looked to be Tinkerbell, the airman took aim but kept his finger off the triger.
"Tinkerbell?" Marcus asked.
The fairy bobed up and down to signify a nod.
"Alright this place is not safe right now please return through the portal for now and tell your friends, when things calm down someone will come back to speak with you," Marcus told her.
Tinkerbell bobed again before flying up and kissing each of them on the cheek before returning through the portal.
"Mark level ten as a portal so far friendly," Hermione said as the doors closed.
"Yes ma'am," the airman said putting his guns in place then pulling out a marker and wrote it on the wall.
The rest of the ride was uneventful, "Gate level,"
"Thank you, I think returning topside would be best, " Marcus said stepping out of the elevator.
The two left to find people and things to stop, for nearly two hours they scoured the level taking down aggressors and tying them up.
Hermione was tying up the last of them when a cobra-shaped staff came toward her head only to be blocked by Marcus' staff embedding itself in the wall above her.
"Stand down T they're not hostile," a voice called out from behind a large black man with a golden symbol in the center of his forehead.
Teal'c pulled back his staff weapon and stood at attention eyes moving around to watch for threats.
Col. Jack O'Neill stepped around Teal'c with a blonde woman who had to be Samantha Carter and a wirey man in glasses who was Daniel Jackson.
"Col. O'Neill it's nice to meet you but I wish it had been under better circumstances," Marcus said while gesturing around, "I'm Marcus and this is my girlfriend Hermione Granger and we have one hell of a story to tell and you're not going to like it." Marcus introduced himself and Hermione.
"Yeah I got that when monsters popped up in here," O'Neill said while looking around, " Let's go to the conference room the general is waiting for us and he can't reach P.O.T.U.S on his red phone,"
Marcus nodded pulling his staff out of the wall and helping Hermione stand, "Yeah that's part of the story."
The group went to the conference room followed by a few airmen, " Tap the ropes holding the people you know twice saying 'release' the ropes will dissolve," Hermione told Carter who looked confused.
"The ropes are solidified air, the tap, and words are at a frequency to break them," Marcus explained.
O'Neill nodded to one of the airmen to try it and they were all astonished when it worked.
When they reached the room they heard a man yelling, "Someone get me a line to the white house and get it three minutes ago."
"Got our helpers to tell us campfire tales General Hammond," O'Neill said drawing the attention of General George Hammond.
"Hey General I'm Marcus and this is Hermione, I'm sorry to say that until a few hours ago this facility didn't exist here on this Earth, the wave of energy I told O'Neill about was from someone tampering with reality and this all happened..." Marcus went on to explain the new world, it took several hours with the constant questioning.
"So we are copies of ourselves from another reality and outside this base, there are all kinds of things from many places from science fiction to fantasy stories and not all are bad just humans changed?" Jack asked.
Marcus nodded while looking out of the window that overlooked the gate room before tapping the glass and opening a small door causing the airmen standing guard to draw their guns and aim at him and await orders.
Hammond held up his hand signaling to hold fire but keep aim.
"Fabricate three hand-held DhDs use the records to make sure that the dialing pad has the Milky Way chevrons' and have an android place them on the table at our gate," Marcus said into his bracer while reaching through to get their backpacks.
Returning to the table he pulled out five bracers and placed them in front of each of the main SGC people.
"Scanner communications along with a dialing protocol to dial Earth's gate..." Marcus explained how to work the bracers getting shocked looks from everyone.
"You're giving us some of your technology?" Jack asked.
"Yes we are, we knew this was going to happen and be unable to stop it so we prepared to aid who we could, another group like us is looking into Areas 51 to see if the place is under siege and help them out," Marcus told the group.
Carter was examining her bracer while also chatting with Hermione, "These are amazing!!"
"Yes Major but you only get one so don't go taking it apart," Hermione said for maybe the tenth time.
"We also have a few items to help with housing and food but we will need a bigger room to display it," Marcus said while chuckling as Hermione stopped Carter from trying to open up her bracer.
"Carter stop trying to break your new toy or I'm going to confiscate it from you and put you in time out," Hammond barked out causing Carter to jump and then pout.
Everyone laughed at her pout until she joined them in laughter, "You said you had some more to share with us?" Hammond asked when they calmed down.
Marcus nodded, " Yeah let's go to medical, we can give Janet a medical-based bracer and set up something you all will like and no Carter this can't be taken apart or you could level this mountain and most of Colorado."
"I'm not that bad am I?" she asked only to receive nods from her team including Teal'c.
Leaving the conference room they walked while Hermione fielded more questions from Carter with Daniel joining in.
They entered the Examination room to find Janet Frasier slumped in a seat, upon their entry she spoke without looking up, "I don't care if it's the President I'm too tired to do anything other than offer painkillers."
"Dr. Frasier we have a new device for you to use here in the infirmary as well as something else that should help as well," Hammond announced causing Janet to jump.
"Sorry, General I didn't mean that last statement, " she apologized.
"It's fine Dr. with the last few hours I'm amazed you are even awake," Hammond said while gently pushing her back to sit.
Marcus pulled out a bracer and looked to make sure it was one of the ones with the medical data and passed it to Janet.
"It has a built-in multi. purpose scanning device it'll do anything you need for a medical emergency but you will need to have it sync up with your computer to receive the data you have on it, it has a medical database similar to that of StarTrek based mostly on humans," he told her as she looked over the bracer her eyes grew bigger as he spoke.
"Wish more aliens were as giving as you are," she said before taking the bracer to her computer.
"Discount it from the mainframe or the bracer will copy everything in there," Hermione said getting wide-eyed looks from everyone.
"How big is the data storage?" Carter asked.
"It makes all the supercomputers of Earth look like laptops," Marcus said while shrugging.
Carter looked like she was about to have a breakdown, " How?'
Hermione gently led her to a bed and sat her down, " We come from a place where energy manipulation is common, and that doofus and I can manipulate technology, he made these and said he made the data storage so big just to see if he can do it."
The group turned to look at him and he shrugged, "We were getting ready to repair a thirty-something million-year-old ship I figured we would need a place to store the data we needed to fix it up."
