With the increase number in autobot forces and with the base starting to get to crowded, the making of other autobot bases were needed. Thankfully agent Fowler had managed to find a second place that would be suitable to turn into a Autobot base. So a bit more than half of the autobot forces would have to be sent out to the second base, which was all the way out in the middle of nowhere, blending in with the other mountains.

The Autobots that ended up heading to the second base was Grimlocks whole team while Optimus's team remained at the old base. For the past week, Grimlocks team have been getting their new base into order. With the power of the forge of Sol and Caydtronus's building skills, Everything was nearly complete in record time.

Currently everyone was watching Caydtronus working on the groundbridge controls. He was connecting them to his systems so he could be able to activate them even if he's away from them. Caydtronus got the inspiration to do that from Soundwave." And done, that should do it." Said Caydtronus as he does the finishing touches.

"Are you sure this will work?" Asked whirl, wanting to know if this idea of Caydtronus's will really work and not blow up in all there faces, figuratively and literally.

"Yeah, what are the chances this goes wrong?" Asked swoop, also wanting to if this is gonna work.

Caydtronus ignored them as he activated the groundbridge manually after putting in a set of random coordinates." Well we're about to find out. I'll be back soon." Said Caydtronus as he headed on through the groundbridge.

Once it closed, mostly everyone just scattered a bit." Who's up for some lobbing?" Asked Sludge, wanting to know who wants in on some lobbing.

So while Slug, sludge, snarl, swoop, Dreadwing, Skyquake, and Whirl all left to go do some lobbing. Grimlock, Arcee, and Sol wait for the return of Caydtronus.

Coincidentally, Caydtronus was not the only one who went out to a random location...

Awhile before Caydtronus left, away from autobot base two, On the con warship, Megatron was having a discussion with airachnid about some stuff and how she wishes to go and retrieve the next relic for Megatron." I will consider it." Said Megatron without even facing her.

Airachnid just bows a bit before him and then walked away, acting confident and stuff. But is I also completely unaware of what's about to happen to her in a few hours.

Megatron waits till she left to have a word with Soundwave, who had just been chilling this whole time, working on finding the next relic coordinates."Soundwave, remind me again of Airachnids loyalty."

Soundwave just nodded as he turns to megatron and then plays a recording of Airachnid trying to pull a mutiny." What will be done about her? Personally dealt with, or have some else do it lord megatron?" Asked Soundwave, curious to know how his leader will wanna handle Airachnid.

Usually Megatron would have this handle by himself personally, but why would he do that when the con who deals with Decepticon traitors is here now." I believe I know one more fitting than I to handle her." Said Megatron as he then calls tarn.

Tarn was currently cleaning his fusion cannon while leashing to some music when he suddenly gets a call from lord megatron." Tarn, I have a task for you. One that you are quite used to." Said Megatron, hinting at what the task is already.

"Ah, of course my liege, it would be my pleasure. But who is the target? Is it perhaps starscream?" Asked Tarn, assuming that it might be Starscream.

Megatron simply shakes his head, although that might not be a bad idea later down the road." No, your target is Airachnid. Her time as my first lieutenant has sadly come to an end. But the time for you to fill out that position is about to begin." Said Megatron, smirking a bit, planning on having Tarn become first lieutenant.

Tarn felt honored by this decision of his leader." I will make sure it is painful lord megatron." Said Tarn as he gets ready to kill another traitor to the Decepticons and to lord megatron.

Megatron is very pleased by this and then told Tarn the plan. After that, Megatron hangs up.

Fast forward and now Tarn and Airachnid are in a forest, the same forest that Caydtronus just so happens to be at." This is a bit overkill, I can handle this mission all on my own." Said Airachnid, staring down at the scanner and not picking anything up yet.

"Lord Megatron wants the job done by someone who's used to this type of work." Said Tarn in a soothing and friendly tone, which is very unexpected to Airachnid.

Airachnid doesn't bother turning to face Tarn as she kept walking...and while he stopped." Really? Your used to hunting relics?" Asked Airachnid, being slightly confused.

Tarn laughed a bit before answering her." Oh I'm not talking about relics, i am talking about hunting and eliminating traitors." As soon as Tarn said that, Airachnid turns and fired some webs at him while transforming to her semi spider mode.

Tarn simply tilted his head, allowing the web to go past him as he then aimed his fusion and cluster canon at her, Firing immediately while Airachnid attempted to flee. Tarn managed to shoot off one of her spider legs while she ran, now leaving a small energon trail." Oh yes please Run, it makes the hunt far more fun for me." Tarn said as he walked after her while firing at her.

This was nearly every traitorous decepticons worst nightmare come true, the leader of the DJD, Tarn, Hunting them down to end them slowly but also painfully.

Airachnid was fleeing blindly through the forest, doing her best to escape and think of a way to escape in the first place. However, doing this lead her to someone with little mercy, especially for someone as twisted as her.

Airachnids running lead her to running into Cybertronian, bumping into his leg and causing her to fall to the ground. Once she landed on the ground. She looked up and saw Caydtronus. Now she had no idea who he was since they have never met, well this version of him.

Airachnid at first thought he was tarn due to Caydtronus's battle mask." Wait! We can come to a compromise Tarn!" Said Airachnid, pleading for her life.

Caydtronus immediately aims his fusion canon at her." I am not Tarn, but I will kill you before he can." He said, charging it up, about to fire at her. Caydtronus assumed that tarn is after her due to the stories he heard about the con from Que and the others.

Airachnid was about to prepare to fire her webs, but then the worst possible thing happened, Tarn caught up. When tarn arrived, he aimed his fusion and buster cannon at Airachnid, not even going to aim it at Caydtronus, odd." Ah, I see I am not the only one out on a midnight hunt." Said Tarn, talking about Caydtronus being out in the middle of the woods.

Caydtronus stared at tarn a bit, studying his appearance." You must be Tarn, I've heard quite a bit about you." He said, keeping his weapon aimed at Airachnid while looking at Tarn.

"And you must be Caydtronus, I've heard about you as well. Lord Megatron spoke highly of you, even though you fight for the wrong side." Said Tarn, also keeping his weapons aimed at Airachnid while looking at Caydtronus.

Airachnid thought that this would be the perfect time to escape. So she started to crawl away, but didn't even get to move much as the two immediately noticed what the spider was attempting to do.

So they both fired there Fusion canons ahead of her, creating two big holes and making her cease movement." Try that again and I will make you watch as I tear each of your limbs apart and then display them to you!" Said Caydtronus, his optics flickering between red and Blue before going back to Blue.

Tarn noticed this switch of colors, lord megatron will be sure to be notified of this later. Right now however, a name is about to be crossed from the list." Caydtronus, I have a proposal that will be benefiting for us both.why don't we both handle her together and then go our separate ways?" Tarn was willing to make a deal in order to eliminate airachnid and leave.

This terrified Airachnid, now she was really in trouble, there was now only one thing left to do, transf-KABLAM!

The spiders legs were into pieces by Caydtronus, making sure she does not escape." You have a deal. But don't think I will not try to terminate out in the field when we cross paths again." Said Caydtronus as he then started to walk towards Airachnid,his optics glowing red as he did this.

Tarn saw this and was grinning under his own mask. Oh lord megatron is gonna love what tarn is gonna tell him later." Of course, I would be disappointed if you didn't try. We are still enemies after all." Said Tarn as he approached Airachnid as well.

After that, the only thing the could be heard that night was Airachnids screams!

Later...

Grimlock, Arcee, and Sol were waiting around for Caydtronus to return. He has been gone for some time now, hopefully everything is alright and he's not in danger." He's taking too long." Said Sol, getting impatient as she then started to walk towards the groundbridge controls.

Before she could grab them, they moved on their own, activating. Meaning that Caydtronus's experiment worked and is now on his way back. This was a relief to sol and the others a bit.

It didn't take long for Caydtronus to come walking through the groundbridge, but not empty handed. It took awhile but the three of them immediately noticed something in his hand...an arm. Oh but not just any arm, it was Airachnids arm.

Arcee recognized it almost immediately." What happened out there?! How did you get that?!" Asked Arcee, not angry, just slightly worried but very shocked.

She was not the only one curious about how Caydtronus got his hands on the spider bitches arm. So with no choice, Caydtronus began to explain everything. Starting with how he came across airachnid and ending with what he did with tarn." I am sorry for taking away the opportunity for you to end her life Arcee." Said Caydtronus, feeling a bit guilty for killing Airachnid himself, taking away the sweet taste of vengeance from Arcee.

Arcee was silent for a bit before speaking." Honestly...I'm just glad she can't hurt anyone anymore...Thank you. " said Arcee, smiling a bit. Though Arcee wishes she was the one to terminate Airachnid, she is glad to know that Airachnid will never harm anyone ever again.

Caydtronus was not the only one receiving praise for killing off the spider. Back on the con warship, Megatron was smiling wickedly as tarn was telling him everything that happened, and was also pleased to see the corpse of the spider with Tarn, well the many parts of the corpse to be exact." This is most excellent news Tarn. Not only did you succeed in your mission, but have also brought back some rather...fascinating intel." Said Megatron, smirking when he said that.

Tarn chuckled a bit as he bows to Megatron." Of course my lord, I live to serve. But I must ask, what are your plans for that Autobot, Caydtronus? I mean I see some potential in him, but I doubt he would willingly join us." Said Tarn as he stops bowing and looked at his leader.

Megatron wasn't a fool, he knew Caydtronus wouldn't join them willing...that is why he plans to have him join by force. But that plan will be put into motion later down the road, plus megatron is gonna need time to think where Caydtronus would fit into the Decepticon army. But that is a thought for another day." That will be all for today...my second in command." Said Megatron, officially dubbing him Second in command.

Oh boy, Tarn is now second in command...how interesting.
