Snowdrop

Winter was ending, and spring was just around the corner.
Yugi walked out the door and smiled. He looked forward to walking through the parks, seeing the trees full and the flowers begin to bloom.
Ryou stepped outside his home, and with a breath, he began to walk, his arms around himself. He looked forward to basking in the warmth of the sun.
They couldn't wait, as they both had spent too much time in the cold, in the uncertainty of it all.
That afternoon, they met up, and they did walk together in the park.
Amidst the melting snow, the patches of grass, and the bitter cold air, they then held each other's hand.
That alone, that was enough for now.
