Chapter 11

Things had not ended well for both of them. Shortly after the incident at the hot springs, Kofa, who felt somewhat guilty, decided to look for the blonde who had taken refuge in her lonely apartment.

Arriving at the blonde Uzumaki's apartment, he took a deep breath and knocked on the door a few times. Inside the house came a voice "I'm coming, wait for me" with that was followed by several hurried steps.

Kofa smiled with some nostalgia as he recalled a brief memory from his previous life.

The door opened and out came a girl with short shoulder-length blonde hair, dark blue eyes, small red lips, and cheeks with mustache marks. Uzumaki Katsuyi in all his glory.

Kofa nodded in response and looked into the girl's narrowed eyes as she looked at him suspiciously.

Katsuyi spoke — Kofa is it you, I wonder what's going on now. Is it about the hot springs? — the blonde asked and then blushed as she revealed that she was a strange boy.

Kofa let out a giggle when he saw the blonde's embarrassed face and calming down his laughter he said to her — actually I came to ask you out— Kofa's next words were abruptly cut off by a silhouette wrapped in murderous intent.

Kofa exclaimed in surprise, "Hinata-sama!" he said with his face full of horror as he sensed the Hyuga's wrath.

Hinata dressed in an apron and casual clothes spoke with a sweet smile, "Kofa-kun, I was thinking about what to make you to eat and it turns out that you're here to invite Katsuyi. I wonder if Kofa-kun would be okay with me cutting some meat for him," she said with a very sweet smile and a kunai in her right hand moving expertly.

Both Katsuyi and Kofa tried hard to see Hinata's face. On one hand, Kofa was well aware of this and was afraid of what he could do to his spoiled little friend. Katsuyi on the other hand was scared, not knowing how all this had happened.

Kofa, without wasting any important time, spoke again. "Hinata, I'm glad you're here. I just came to invite Katsuyi as an apology for what I did to him," explained the boy with a blushing face and looking directly into the lavender pupil-less eyes of the taller girl.

Hinata looked at him with a suffocated gaze, scanning every inch of Kofa's body, who tensed visibly.

Katsuyi spoke for the first time, "I think I'll just go and leave you two alone," he said with a nervous laugh, trying to back away from the heavy atmosphere.

This mood didn't last long and was broken by Hinata's sweet voice —Kofa-kun, come in and let's all eat together. I was following you when Katsuyi chased you all over the village— she said without fear of revealing that she was spying on them.

Kofa, not knowing what to do, nodded meekly and entered.

Katsuyi stood outside, not knowing what the hell had just happened.
