This is the 14th chapter. I don't own the series of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.
Too Many Pinkie Pies
After a past few days, they made it back to Ponyville after Comet and Daylight spending their days with Twilight, Princess Cadence, Shining Armor, and their friends in the Crystal Empire since they've been gone for months. Silver Spoon spend most of his days with Comet because she never gets a chance to do that since she mostly spends with Diamond Tiara, but sometimes she wanted time for herself and thinking about him. But with him and his sister finally return to their home, the filly felt happy to hear the news along with Twilight, who misses her children the most.
Pinkie Pie made a 'Welcome Back' party at Ponyville, and the ponies were informed that Comet and Daylight have come home. They were all happy to hear it, and they all wanted to hear their story about the journey. Comet and Daylight were telling the ponies and their classmates about their journey, but Cheerilee tapped his shoulder which it got their attention. They turned and noticed the teacher, who smiled, but Comet and Daylight glanced away, feeling guilty for what they did. Cheerilee then hugs the two, giving them comfort.
"I'm just so happy for you two to come home." Cheerilee told them, breaking the hug and noticing Daylight's cutie mark. "And I notice you got a cutie mark, Daylight."
"Thanks, but I guess I wasn't paying attention since I've been busy going on a journey with my brother." Daylight said.
"But Ms. Cheerilee, we're sorry for leaving without telling you." Comet adds sadly.
"It's alright, Comet, you and your sister had your reason to leave. All that matters is the both of you made it home safely." Cheerilee said but turns her expression into serious. "But that don't mean you two are getting special treatment. You've got a lot of homework you've missed, and you got a lot of making up in order to catch up."
"We understand." Comet replied as he and Daylight nod.
Cheerilee smiled at that as she walks away to join with the others. After she left, Comet and Daylight continued to tell them a story while reminding them about the Great Spirits and how Kenai turned into a bear. Many of the ponies were awed at their story which it was a long journey for them, but Princess Celestia and Princess Luna arrived at Sugarcube Corner when they see Comet and Daylight finished their story. Comet and Daylight turned and saw two princesses arrived as they run to them, hugging them which made the ponies shocked. Princess Celestia and Princess Luna smiled at that as they hugged them in return.
"Welcome home, you two." Princess Celestia said. "We're so proud of you."
Comet and Daylight just smiled in respond.
"Aunt Celestia, Aunt Luna." Comet and Daylight responds.
"Comet, Daylight, you two have done well. Your family would be proud." Princess Luna informed them as they break the hug. "While it is true that the decision is hard and put you in a dilemma by leaving your family behind in order to find the answers of your vision. But you prevailed through the trials and found the answers you're looking for."
"But you've also learned the meaning of sacrifice and the concept of love." Princess Celestia adds but turns into sad. "And during your time in the village, you've lost to those who you considered a friend, but you give Kenai an important lesson to understand his past mistakes."
Twilight then walks to her children, hugging them from behind with a warm smile.
"And you two have learn the important lessons during your journey and making new friends." Princess Luna said. "And for that, you two have accomplished all on your own."
The ponies cheered for the two foals which made the two smiled at that. They then continued the party, with Comet and Daylight joining with their grandparents since they've been informed of their return home from the long journey. Both Twilight Velvet and Night Light were worried about them at first, but proud of their grandkids for completing the trial and their journey along with the filly had herself a cutie mark.
Silver Spoon walks to Comet since she got something to say to him.
"Comet? Can I talk to you?" Silver asks, earned his attention.
Comet then follows Silver Spoon out of the Sugarcube Corner and walking into the park since she wanted to talk to him alone. Soon as they're out of an earshot distance, Silver Spoon and Comet stops as she turns to him.
"Comet, ever since you came here in Ponyville...I couldn't believe you were a human from Earth at first, but after hearing the announcement, I'm starting to believe you. And after I saw you at school, you are attractive to the fillies in class, including me." Silver Spoon confessed with a blush on her face, Comet was caught off-guard, and it made him blushed. "And...I just thought I could tell you without Diamond Tiara around and tell you in private. Also, I just thought you want somepony special to be with you."
Comet is starting to catch on and it made her realize why she hasn't been hanging around with Diamond Tiara to look down on the CMCs.
"Are you saying you're..."
"Yes, I have a crush on you." Silver Spoon admits. "And...I was hoping you can be my special somepony."
"Well...I guess I can." Comet replied with a blush. "But I don't want to start dating immediately."
"I understand, we'll wait a while before we can do anything." Silver Spoon said with a smile but decided to make a move as she kissed on the lips which made him shocked. Then, she breaks the kiss, and Comet starts to blush with a few more shades of red and steam comes out of his ears, making her giggle at his reaction.
But unknown to the two, Twilight and Daylight were watching from the far distance which his sister smiled at that while his mother was surprised and shocked that Silver Spoon did something so bold after admitting that she had a crush on Comet.
'I can't believe that Silver Spoon just kissed him, right on the lips!' Twilight mentally exclaims but smiled at that. 'Then again, this does remind me of me having a first crush on Mario when I was Comet's age. I just hope that he's ready to handle young love at his age.'
Then, Comet begin to smile as he then kissed Silver Spoon, who closes her eyes and enjoying the moment when the sun started to set.
The next day, it's a bright sunny day out in Ponyville today as Spike is seen with Twilight and Mario over at the restaurants helping them try out a new spell. Comet and Daylight didn't get to come practice new magic because they're playing catch up with their homework Cheerilee mentioned earlier. Pear Butter and Bright Mac volunteered to keep an eye on the two foals in order to make sure they finished their homework.
Twilight has set an apple down on a table and wisps of magic then envelop the fruit and slowly float it off the surface and begins to stretch and elongate as if made of rubber. After several seconds of the decidedly un-apple-like behavior, the spell dissipates, and the apple settles back onto the table.
"Try again, Twi, you can do it!" Spike cheered.
"Don't worry, Twilight. It may be a difficult spell, but I believe that you can do it." Mario adds with assurance.
Twilight wipes some sweat off of her forehead to clear a little bit of exhaustion.
"Phew, yeah, this spell's a toughie. But I feel lucky this time!" Twilight said as she tries the magic again. "One, two..."
"Hi!"
A pink blur races across and tackles Twilight, making her shoot her magic in the wrong direction and causing to ricochet crazily off an overhearing and the ground, then scores a direct hit on a helpless bird perched in a tree. Twilight is then seen on the ground being hugged tightly by none other than Pinkie Pie, making her groan from being held firmly.
"Pinkie, why'd you do that?!" Twilight demands, then roughly pushed Pinkie Pie off and glared at her.
"'Cause hugs are funneriffic, especially when you throw one around a friend." Pinkie Pie answered as she wrapped her fore-legs around herself and untangled them with ease.
"I'm a hugger as much as the next pony, Pinkie, but there's a time and place for them..."
Mario's voice is strained when Pinkie Pie gave him an overly tight hug before he said, sternly pushing her back.
"Especially not when you crush them and interrupt somepony while she's practicing magic!" Mario finished his sentence, making Pinkie Pie smiled sheepishly under his glare.
While Twilight knew Pinkie Pie only see Mario as a friend, but she still felt jealous seeing her coltfriend being hugged by a mare other than herself. She couldn't help but glare at Pinkie Pie as well which she didn't notice.
"Whatcha doin'?" Pinkie Pie asks.
"Trying to turn that apple into an orange!" Twilight answered, rather annoyed.
"But you kinda threw her aim off..." Spike adds when as orange bird with wings them flies past them, and Mario shoots his own magic at the flying object to turn it back into a normal bird.
"Wheee!" Pinkie Pie said with a giggle. "What a cute orange birdie! Do me next, Twilight! Do me, do me!"
She bounds happily, it carries her back so that she collides with an arriving Rarity, who's donned a hooded dark gray cloak. It left the two dazed for a few moments.
"Ooooh, Rarity, wanna see Twilight turn me into an orange?" Pinkie Pie asks, recovered first as she bounces. "It's gonna be funna-fun-fuuun!"
"As fun as creating this haute couture ensemble that I just finished making?" Rarity as she takes her cloak to reveal the ensemble that consists of a sleeveless dress with a two-layer skirt, magenta with lighter trim over striped light blue, and darker magenta blouse whose collar is the same color as the skirt trim. "Delightful, non?"
"Indeed." Mario agrees. "My marefriend would look great in that dress for one of our dates."
"What about moi?" Rarity asks with a gasp, dramatically looking shocked and hurt.
"Rarity, of course you look fabulous in it." Mario remarked. "I'm just saying your ensemble would look great on Twilight as well."
"Are you buying?" Twilight asks.
"If you really want the dress, sure." Mario said.
Twilight giggled as she nuzzled his neck lovingly as he nuzzled her back. Rarity chuckled, but Pinkie Pie gasped.
"This is terrible!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed in shock.
"What could be terrible about the dress?" Mario asks, confused.
"It's okay, Mario. I admit it's perhaps not my finest work, but I-"
Pinkie Pie then rushes up to get in Rarity's face with her eyes bugging out.
"You had total-awesome-amazing fun and I missed out on it?!" Pinkie Pie continued as she backs off with a squeaky little moan and crosses to Twilight, Mario, and Spike. "Neh! Wait! What if there's more awesome amazing fun with friends happening somewhere in Ponyville right now that I'm missing out too?!"
Pinkie Pie stood on her hind legs and before anypony could answer, she zooms off. They just watched her leave in silence.
"We weren't going to turn her into an orange! I swear!" Spike said as Twilight and Rarity just watched Pinkie Pie disappeared with blank faces.
Meanwhile, Rainbow Dash and Storm Hawk were standing amid a small patch of fog that blankets a hilltop in Sweet Apple Acres. They give it a few lashes with their tails, but is interrupted by the split-second arrival of Pinkie Pie.
"Hey, Rainbow Dash, Storm Hawk, whatcha doing?" Pinkie Pie asks cheerfully.
"This punk cloud got so heavy it's making fog." Rainbow Dash answered. "Figured we'll thin this bad boy out, so it floats back up."
Pinkie Pie's entire body then vibrated into the air as she gasped.
"Oooh, fun!" Pinkie Pie said as hops into the air and races around Rainbow Dash and Storm Hawk at insanely high speed, causing the cloud to float up and away, leaving the two Pegasi spinning in place. "Gotta go!"
She zips off, leaving a dizzy Rainbow Dash and Storm Hawk with their eyes still swirling in confusion a little.
"Uh, thanks Pinkie...?" Rainbow Dash said, feeling puzzled.
Applejack and Apple Shine are then seen trotted along the road, pulling a cart whose freight consists of Apple Bloom and quite a few apples. Pinkie Pie hops up to keep pace.
"Hey, Applejack, Apple Shine! That looks fun, can I join you?" Pinkie Pie offers as she jumps in and balances on the edges of the cart. "Wheee! Next time I'll pull you!"
Away she goes and Applejack and Apple Shine stops the cart, and the three pairs of puzzled eyes stared after Pinkie Pie's departure.
Fluttershy, Winter Breeze, and Angel are then seen under a tree in the park outside of Ponyville. They're having a cup of tea very peacefully and Fluttershy hunches down to sip from hers on the ground while Angel picks his up.
"Fluttershy, Winter!" The voice of Pinkie Pie called them.
Fluttershy, Winter Breeze, and Angel look to see Pinkie Pie out of breath as she'd nearly used up all of her energy.
"There...you...are...! Doing...anything...fun?" Pinkie Pie asks, panting heavily and lets out an expectant grin while Fluttershy and Winter Breeze just stares.
"Not especially." Fluttershy replied slowly.
"Oh, good. Fun...is hard!" Pinkie Pie said with a sigh before tipping over backwards to show that she's out of breath and tired from running across Ponyville and both Fluttershy and Winter Breeze winces at how their friend is feeling before exchanging confused look along with Angel.

Eventually, Fluttershy has laid out a couch in the forest and Pinkie Pie was in it with a bunch of butterflies covering her up to give her a little peaceful massage. Fluttershy and Winter Breeze then lands on the ground next to the couch.
"Feeling better, Pinkie?" Fluttershy asks kindly as the butterflies disperse to expose both Pinkie Pie and the couch she's resting on and she's wide awake.
"Abso-tutely-lutely! Thanks for letting me rest in your butterfly grove while I get my Pinkie strength back!" Pinkie Pie replied as a butterfly landed on her nuzzle.
"What are friends for?" Fluttershy said with a smile.
"That's just the thing!" Pinkie Pie remarked, grabs her cheeks and pulls her close. "I've got so many wonderful friends and my daughter having fun in every last corner in Ponyville, I can't figure out how to keep up with it all!"
She then stands up on her legs and flops backwards.
"It's driving me even more coco-loco than usual!" Pinkie Pie continued.
"We can promise we're not doing anything fun if that helps." Winter Breeze offered with sympathy.
"You are such a good friend." Pinkie Pie said, grateful when Rose Lotus arrived as she walks to her mother.
"Hey, Mom." Rose Lotus said with a smile. "I was worried that you were stressed on trying to find something fun to do today, so I thought I'd come and see if you would like to hang out with me for the afternoon."
Pinkie Pie beams from that and instantly hugs her daughter, nuzzles her cheek.
"That's sweet of you, Rosey." Pinkie Pie said sweetly when Applejack walks up to join the group.
"There you are, Pinkie." Applejack said, arrived behind the sofa and looking at her. "Been lookin' everywhere for ya, girl."
"Hey, Pinkie." The voice of Rainbow Dash said as she made a landing near Fluttershy. "Storm Hawk and I got something fun planned this afternoon thought you might wanna know about."
"Heh. Well, I'll be an apple crisp." Applejack said as she leaned on the sofa from the back. "I'm here for the same reason."
"So was I." Rose Lotus agrees. "I actually just already told her my plan since she's stressing out over what fun she wanted."
"This is perfect!" Pinkie Pie said as the others gathered around her. "Everyone will now bring their fun to me. Ha, this'll solve everything! Why didn't I think of that?"
Pinkie Pie then rubbed her fore-hooves together and then bounced around as some butterflies surrounded her.
"Actually, what I meant is after me and my boy were done whipping up today's weather, we'll be chilling by the lake catching some rays." Rainbow Dash points out as she landed by her and the butterflies dispersed. "Wanna hang?"
"I am so there." Pinkie Pie said as she waved her fore-legs excitedly. "Wheee!"
"And my family's havin' a barn-raisin' this afternoon at Sweet Apple Acres." Applejack said, stood next to Fluttershy and Winter Breeze.
"And I'm also so there." Pinkie Pie said as she bounced up and down excitedly. "Whee, whee!"
"But wait...you want to do all three of what we planned?" Rose Lotus asked, feeling worried about her mother. "That's the time I would have set up some peaceful time on the hills and having a picnic to relax."
"And that's when we'll be at the swimming hole." Rainbow Dash adds. "Ah, well, doesn't matter. Whichever one you choose is okay with me."
"Same. I could always just have some time alone with Djali." Rose Lotus agrees.
"Me three." Applejack adds.
Pinkie Pie in the middle, whose eyes have flicked back and forth between them, sucks in a shaky gasp.
"Choose?!" Pinkie Pie spluttered.
Back at the Ponyville restaurants, Twilight was still trying to practice the spell. Mario and Spike watched with interest with the former behind Twilight and the other to the side.
"It kinda bites that Comet and Daylight had to do their homework." Spike said.
"I know, but they've got a lot to catch up since their journey to help the wolves and Kenai." Twilight told him, then gets into position to try her spell once more. "One, two..."
She gets a spell started, but only to be thrown off when Pinkie Pie leaps in and bounces off her back. The beam bounces off a wall and was heading right for Mario. With his quick reaction, Mario raised his fore-legs in front of himself. His body shook as he managed to successfully deflect the beam away, but it continued toward a tree branch and strikes a frog sitting contently on a lily pad in a stream which turns it into an orange with frog limbs as it ribbits and jumps into the water. Twilight was left stunned.
"Did you just...block a magic blast head on?!" Twilight asked as Spike dropped his jaws.
"Pretty much." Mario answered, waving his fore-legs. "Since Chrysalis' attack, I've been trying to do more self-defense. It's still a work in progress. I was able to avoid the effects of your magic blast by blocking it with my fore-legs, but I still haven't managed to do that without hurting it a bit...ow..."
Twilight grabbed his fore-hooves with her own and use her magic to heal him, making Mario sigh with relief.
"Feeling better?" Twilight asked sweetly.
"Thanks." Mario responded back until the two ponies noticed a pink blur go by, knocking the table that had the apple on it.
"Pinkie!" Twilight shouted in annoyance.
Pinkie Pie skids to a stop with her hooves cutting a furrow in the ground so deep that she disappears completely into it and puts her head back up to check the stopwatch that's hanging around her neck.
"What in the wide, wide world of Equestria are you doing now?" Twilight questioned.
"Timing myself galloping back and forth between the swimming hole, Rosey's picnic, and Sweet Apple Acres." Pinkie Pie explains as the two ponies and Spike walked up to her and she bounced. "I'm trying to cut down my time with Rainbow Dash and Storm Hawk dives off the swing, I can get to the Sweet Apple Acres to help with the barn raising, to then relax and spending some days with my daughter, and then be back in time to see Rainbow Dash and Storm Hawk hit the water after a double flip!"
She then checks her stopwatch and gasps.
"If I can cut my time by only 25 minutes, I'm good." Pinkie Pie continued with a sigh.
"Oh, Pinkie." Twilight said with a laugh as she walked away and fixed the table and the apple back into place while Mario sat on the chair. "I'm afraid no matter how hard you try, the only way to pull something like that off is if there's more of you to go around."
Pinkie Pie stares straight ahead with her mind totally blown, and her head slowly cocks to her left in little jerks as if were a clocks second hand. The ticking of a clock accompanies this motion until she had completed a quarter-turn. Once the idea has locked onto her mind, her head goes back upright and makes a dinging sound with her pupils vibrating a little which gives into a grin.
"That's it, Twilight!" Pinkie Pie said excitedly as she zips over to Twilight, knocking her, the table, and apple down before hopping away. "The legend of the Mirror Pool!"
"Legend of the who-what now? Pinkie!" Twilight shouted, but Pinkie Pie was out of sight. "I'm familiar with loads of legends, and I never heard of-"
"The Legend of the Mirror Pool is a special magical pond located somewhere in the deepest reaches of the Everfree Forest." Mario explains. "It's said that with the right chant and by looking at their reflection in the water that they can make copies of themselves. My mentor told me about it when I was a colt."
"Interesting..." Twilight said. "But...it's just a legend...isn't it?"
"I hope so." Mario said with an uncertain look. "But I'm getting the feeling that Lord Garmadon has plans on using the Mirror Pool."
"What do you mean?" Twilight asked.
"He's planning use the mirror pool to replicate his army into a large army of themselves and overwhelmed us and all over in Equestria." Mario said, trembled a bit. "I still get chills about it."
Twilight just nuzzled her head under his chin to calm him down.
"It's okay, sweety." Twilight said gently. "As long as you're safe with me and the rest of us, he won't touch you."
The two exchanged cute smiles with each other.
"Does this mean practice is over?" Spike asked hopefully.
"Of course not!" Twilight said. "Back to work, we still need to go over our martial arts too."
Spike just made a long face.
"Also, we still need to check up on Comet and Daylight. Hopefully, they're able to finish their homework." Twilight adds.
Pinkie Pie was not trotting through the Everfree Forest, into a patch of steadily thickening mist and tangled vines.
"Seems like hardly anypony's been here in ages. I hope I'm remembering the rhymes right from my Nana Pinkie's story, 'Where the brambles are thickest, there you will find a pond beyond the most twisted of vines!'" Pinkie Pie said to herself as she stops as her last words echoes in the stillness, throwing herself into a skittish panic. "What was that?! Oh, I heard a voice! Oh. Hehe, it was me."
Pinkie Pie continued through the Everfree Forest as she has to bull her way through the thorny plants.
"Ouch! Ooh! Stop scratching me up, you brambles, and-"
She then suddenly falls down a hole when she wasn't looking where she was going.
"Whoooaaa!"
Shes into a small pink pinball as she rattles her way through a long, twisting tunnel, finally emerging down a natural ramp into a high-ceiling cavern. She lands flat on her belly, peeling her face off the ground to show it temporarily squashed flat, and finds a small pool directly in front of her. She lets out an excited gasp seeing that she has found what she has been looking for.
"The Mirror Pool!" Pinkie Pie shouts when her voice echoes once again as she stands up. "Oh, and there's that voice again! Tsk, tsk, tsk. Ah Pinkie, you have got to stop talking to yourself. Starting...now."
She reaches the water and peeks over to see her reflection.
"'And into her own she stared, uh, yearning for one whose reflection she shared, and solemnly swear not to be scared at the prospect of being doubly mared!'" Pinkie Pie recited, struggling the rhyme as she then enters the Mirror Pool, immersing herself wholly as she came out of the opposite side to find that she has made a clone of herself.
"Whee-hee!" Pinkie Pie 2 cheered as she bounced around the area.
"Wow, the legend is true. It really worked!" Pinkie Pie said, astonished while Pinkie Pie 2 was just bouncing around chanting 'Fun, fun, fun!' constantly as she bounced around the area. "Okay, wait. I promised not to talk to myself anymore. I should say something to her. Or...would that still be talking to myself?"
Her clone then zips all over the place shouting 'Fun' again and again.
"Excuse me, me? Can I have a word with you?" Pinkie Pie called out as her clone came over, kept bouncing up and down. "Uh, I mean, me. Listen, I can see you're having lots of fun, but-"
"Fun?! Did somebody say fun? Where?" Pinkie Pie 2 replied energetically.
"I did, over here!" Pinkie Pie said as her clone immediately zips up to her just hyperactive as she usually is.
"I thought someone said something about fun!" Pinkie Pie 2 said, jogging in place. "Where is it? Over here? Over here? I don't see it! Where is it? Where is it?"
"Whoa, calm yourself, Pinkie, there's loads of fun to be had in Ponyville with my friends!" Pinkie Pie told her clone. "Trot on back to Ponyville with me and I'll tell you all about 'em."
They both then head out of the ramp of the cave to go and have the said fun that they both wanted.
Watch them leave the cavern from the flames, Lord Garmadon smirked evilly as he witnessed how Pinkie Pie makes a clone of herself.
"Perfect." Lord Garmadon said with a sinister smirk before he held one of a broken pieces of King Sombra's crystal and used his power to transfer them into the crystal as it glowed dark red.
"Fangtom, take the crystal to the Mirror Pool and extract the water." Lord Garmadon ordered as he handed him the crystal. "I'll be needing that in case my first plan backfired."
"Yes, my Lord." Fangtom replied with a hiss as he took the crystal and slithered into the shadows to go to the Mirror Pool.
In the meantime of both of them exited the Everfree Forest, Pinkie Pie was explaining to her clone, who's hopping up and down behind her, what the rest of her friends were like.
"And then there's Rose Lotus, she's my daughter, she's the most lovable and sweet little filly. She's also a former human born from India and her birth parents and her people are the gypsies who traveled around for money and-"
"Is this Ponyville? Where's the fun? Where's the fun?" Pinkie Pie 2 interrupted excitedly.
"Uh, well, let's see, Applejack's having a barn raising at-"
Her clone doesn't stick around to hear any more, instead barreling away.
"It's that-away!" Pinkie Pie called out when her clone past her once again. "Wait, come back!"
She immediately comes to bounce up and down in a stationary position in front of her.
"Don't forget to meet me back here to tell me everything about everything, like I was there myself!" Pinkie Pie informed her. "Because I'm you and, and you're me, and-Oh my gosh! THIS IS THE GREATEST PLAN EVER! Now, off to double my fun!"
They both run in opposite directions to go and have the fun they both wanted with their friends.
Both Rainbow Dash and Storm Hawk are now seen relaxing on a beach chair under an umbrella, at the edge of the lake under the bright sun. She has her favorite black sunglasses propped on her forehead and is doing a bit of reading while Storm Hawk was also reading a book. She closes and puts the book away with a yawn, bringing out a folding reflector to tuck under her chin so she can work on her suntan. Storm Hawk puts his book away, putting on some sunblock to prevent for sunburning and then puts on his shades.
Pinkie Pie is seen galloping towards the lake with a snorkel and goggles on her face.
"Let's rock this pool, ponies!" Pinkie Pie said, leaps high up into the air to then pull out a duck inner tube, blow it up, and get it around her midsection. "Whee!"
Pinkie Pie splashes in and both Rainbow Dash and Storm Hawk lowers their sunglasses for a peek, just before she surfaces again.
"Coming in, Dashie, Storm Hawk?" Pinkie Pie offered, splashed with water with her fore-hooves. "The waters great, it's totally wet and everything."
"I don't know..." Rainbow Dash said, stretching her fore-legs and yawns to show how tired she is. "Cloud busting was tougher work than usual. I'm kind of exhausted."
"Yeah, me too." Storm Hawk agrees, yawned while stretching. "I just need some Z's."
The nap they intend to take abruptly cut off by Pinkie Pie's shaking herself dry to restore her fluffy mane and tail.
"That's fine, you two relax." Pinkie Pie said. "At least we'll still be together!"
"Glad you made it, Pinkie." Rainbow Dash said with a smile. "I thought you maybe went to Applejack's or Rose's instead."
"I did." Pinkie Pie said, took off her inner tube and snorkel, and she grabbed a nearby rope.
"Oh, did you get to spend some time with your kid?" Rainbow Dash asks.
"I have no idea." Pinkie Pie answered which leaving them confused.
"Wait, is the barn up yet?" Rainbow Dash questioned.
"I have no idea." Pinkie Pie replied.
"But I thought you said you were just at their places." Rainbow Dash told her.
"Actually, I'm probably still on my way there now! Whee!" Pinkie Pie said as she jumps on a swing and lets herself fly on it. Letting go, she drops into the water with a huge splash and doesn't notice the thoroughly puzzled Pegasi scratching her head in the beach chair.
At another spot, both Fluttershy and Winter Breeze were seen along with Angel picking some berries from a bush to then drop it into a basket. They then noticed Pinkie's clone hopping along the hill and flies over to her.
"Oh, Pinkie Pie, we're so glad you wandered by." Fluttershy said with a smile. "I know we promised not to have any fun today, but, oh, I couldn't help myself.
With that, she flies to a bush and parts its foliage to expose a group of animals that were having a picnic. Pinkie Pie 2 then lets out a huge grin at seeing all of it.
"All of our critter friends wanted a picnic, and I couldn't disappoint them" Fluttershy explains as she and Winter Breeze took a seat among them. "Come join us. We have plenty of hay juice and marmalade to go around, don't we, critters?"
All of their animal friends let out amiable noises from that. A mouse then scampers over and offers her a piece of cheese, which she eagerly scarfs down.
"Wait, but that sounds super fun" Pinkie Pie 2 said. "Oh, but Applejohn sounds super fun too! Uh, and, and I can't do one without missing out on the other!"
"Who's Applejohn?" Fluttershy asked, confused.
Pinkie Pie 2 gets in her face for a second before she starts to hyperventilate from the dilemma that she's in now.
"Two fun things at once?" Pinkie Pie 2 interjected. "But which, which? Oh, can't decide...Trouble breathing...Walls closing in!"
"Pinkie, we're outside." Winter Breeze points out.
This is the last straw for the clone, who lets off a scream, does several dozen laps around the picnic in a pink blur and races back the way she came.
"What was that about?" Winter Breeze asks when the bear gives her an noncommittal growl and shrug before Pinkie Pie 2 zips back.
"YOU SAID I'M OUTSIDE!" Pinkie Pie 2 screamed, leaving Fluttershy and Winter Breeze even more confused.
Back to where the original Pinkie Pie was with Rainbow Dash and Storm Hawk, she explained to them how she's able to go to many places at once due to the legend of the Mirror Pool. Rainbow Dash and Storm Hawk were listening but found the story very hard to believe.
"So you see, that's how I'm able to have fun in two places at once." Pinkie Pie concluded as she stared at her reflection.
Rainbow Dash lowers her folding reflector to look at Pinkie Pie with an unconvinced face.
"Duplicates of you, huh?" Rainbow Dash said sarcastically. "Heh, yeah, sure, Pinkie...Look, I was just gearing up to catch some Z's, so, uh..."
"Gotcha." Pinkie Pie replied before Rainbow Dash could finish her sentence. "I'll have the rest of my fun really quietly."
Pinkie Pie backs up Rainbow Dash and Storm Hawk, and she returns to the swing to then leap off of it for a cannonball dive.
"Wheeeee..." Pinkie Pie shouted quietly.
Before making an impact with the water, she brings herself to a dead stop in midair and lowers herself in so gently that the water barely ripples. Rainbow Dash and Storm Hawk sees this happening and was a little confused.
"How'd you do that?" Storm Hawk asks.
"Just trying to show a little consideration for my sleepy friends." Pinkie Pie said.
Rainbow Dash and Storm Hawk has no immediate response to this before Pinkie Pie 2 pops her head from a bush and waves to her original self to get her attention.
"Ooh, ooh, gotta run. Looks like I'm trying to get my attention. Excuse me." Pinkie Pie said as she bounces away and both Rainbow Dash and Storm Hawk notices her clone.
"And me." Pinkie Pie 2 adds, following her.
Filling their eyes with that double vision, Rainbow Dash and Storm Hawk allows themselves a shocked grimace, then shrugs resignedly and roll their eyes, but the sight leaves them unable to resume their nap.
Meanwhile, both of the Pinkie Pies meet up somewhere on the land and the real Pinkie Pie was hopping up and down, excited to hear of what her clone experienced.
"Ooh, ooh, tell me all about it!" Pinkie Pie said. "Did they pull the walls of the barn up slow or fast?"
"I..."
"Maybe slow to medium, somewhere in that range?" Pinkie Pie asks again, leaning over to her clone.
"I..."
"Or did you go see my daughter?" Pinkie Pie asks. "Was she able to spend the day on a picnic?"
"I didn't make it!" Pinkie Pie 2 bellowed. "I was on my way there and then Fluttershutter-"
"Fluttershy." Pinkie Pie corrects her.
"Yeah, her." Pinkie Pie 2 continued, sweating. "She offered something else fun for me to do! A picnic, with cute little animals!"
"Aw, how could you say no to that?" Pinkie Pie remarked.
"That's what I'm saying!" Pinkie Pie 2 replied, now upset. "Then, I would've missed the super fun with Applesauce!"
"Applejack." Pinkie Pie corrects her again.
"Yeah and...what was her name again?" Pinkie Pie 2 questions.
"Rose Lotus." Pinkie Pie answered.
"Right! Didn't know what to do!" Pinkie Pie 2 said as she then flops to the ground and started wailing. "So, I didn't do anything fun at all!"
Pinkie Pie bends down to her and strokes her forehead.
"Aw, my poor, poor me!" Pinkie said with comfort. "There, there. Tell me what, we just need a couple more Pinkie Pies. Easy peasy."
"Really?" Pinkie Pie 2 asks as she wipes her tears away with a smile at hearing that.
"Come on, would you lie to me?" Pinkie Pie replied as she throws a big grin down at the clone and gets one in return.
Back in the Everfree Forest where the Mirror Pool was, both Pinkie Pies were right in front of the lake to say the same thing that the original Pinkie Pie said when she got her clone out of the water.
"'...and solemnly swear not to be scared at the prospect of being doubly mared!'"
As they lean closer to the water, the head and one foreleg each of two new Pinkie Pies rise from below it and they both pulled them out.
"Look, a double me!" Pinkie Pie 2 commented.
"I think you mean double-double me." Pinkie Pie said. "Plus another double-double me, which makes two double-double mes, or a double-double-double me, if you will!"
"Whee!" Pinkie Pie 2 cheered.
"Did somebody say fun? Where?" Pinkie Pie 3 asks excitedly. "Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun!"
The clone starts hopping away and both Pinkie Pies 2 and 4 follow in suit and action, bouncing all over the cavern and getting into assorted shenanigans. Swinging on a vine to slide down the stone ramp, eating a mushroom, swimming through the dirt, climbing up the walls, and so on.
"Now Applejack, Rosey, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy are covered, plus one extra Pinkie Pie in case we get an extra invite for somepony else. Perfect!" Pinkie Pie said, calmly walking around the cavern while her clones bounced around. "Okay, let's go."
However, things were about not to go as planned at all as the real Pinkie Pie sees her clones right in front of the Mirror Pool again making her a little worried.
"'...and solemnly swear not to be scared at the prospect of being doubly mared!'"
With the end of that rhyme, three more Pinkie Pies come out of the pool, but the real Pinkie Pie saw it as no big deal.
"Okay, good enough." Pinkie Pie said dismissively and turned to leave. "Pinkie Pies, move it out-"
However, what she hears next made her regret her decision a little in making clones of herself.
"'...not to me scared at the prospect of being doubly mared!'"
She freezes in her tracks and looks fearfully behind herself to a bunch of Pinkie Pies.
"What in the name of pink?!" Pinkie Pie exclaims. "Knock it off!"
While the clones kept saying 'fun' and bounce all over the place, the real Pinkie Pie didn't look too worried as she just turns around, gestures for the other Pinkie Pies to start following her.
"To Ponyville, everyone! Follow me!" Pinkie Pie said, but with the few steps away, the crowd went silent, and she lets off a weary groan and rolls her eyes. "Yes, it's fun there."
The clones resume their shouting and hopping as she advances off and out of the cave. Fangtom appeared from the shadows as he approached the Mirror Pool.
"And good riddancccceeee, I thought they never leave." Fangtom said in annoyance, then he held a broken piece of King Sombra's crystal, with Lord Garmadons magic transferred into it. "But now she tested herself and making annoying clones, it'sss time for the power to use on the dark army."
Fangtom places the crystal in the Mirror Pool, but instead of duplicating the crystal began to glow in dark crimson and black as some of the water was being extracted from the pond. It then floated in the air before being levitated to Fangtom by itself before he finally takes it and places it in the bag. Then he turns around to vanished in the shadows with a hiss.
Outside, she's guided all of her clones out of the Everfree Forest and rounds all of them up by whistling so they all don't go wandering off.
"Okay, between the bunch of us, we should have every nook and cranny of fun in Ponyville covered at all times. An unprecedented and massive undertaking! But first, a pop quiz on the names I taught you!" Pinkie Pie explains as she yanks a flip-chart on an easel into view. She flips the cover back, exposing a picture of..."
"Applejack!"
Next flip shows...
"Fluttershy!"
She flips once more to show...
"Pinkie Pie!"
She then flips one more to show...
"Rose Lotus!"
"Excellent." Pinkie Pie said. "Okay, let's get on with this, folks. Fan out on three. One-"
Her eyes bug out at the sound of a massed retreat and hooves galloping away as she sees that they all just ran off instantly. She just decides to hop off like she normally does.
"Eh, good enough." Pinkie Pie said. "La-la-la-la-la-la-la, la-la-la, whee!"
At the hills, Rose Lotus was carrying a basket that has food for her and her mother to have while Djali follows her. She wanted to spend some time with her since she and Pinkie Pie didn't get the chance to do that because of the work at Sugarcube Corner.
"I just hope Mom got the barn raise since Applejack and Apple Shine need a new one." Rose Lotus said. "But I'm worried if she's overdoing all of these fun things since it'll tire her out."
Rose Lotus just then sat a picnic blanket next to her and her pet goat, about to set it up when one of the clones arrived with a huge smile.
"Oh, hi Mom." Rose Lotus asks. "Did you decide to have a fun picnic with me and relax here?"
"Fun?! Did you say fun?! Where?" Pinkie Pie asks excitedly as she zips around, making Rose Lotus confused.
"Um, Mom, are you okay? You're starting to scare me." Rose Lotus asks with worry, watching a clone of Pinkie Pie hopping up and down in front of her. "I know you want to have fun, but-"
However, she wasn't able to finish her sentence as the clone of Pinkie Pie kept on shouting and repeating 'Fun!' over and over again which made her sacred a bit, but unknown to her, she was sensing an aura coming from the clone of Pinkie Pie that has a color of white. It got Rose Lotus widen her eyes in shocked at that. Then, another clone of Pinkie Pie arrived, making a gypsy filly and her pet goat even more shocked by this as they watch them did the same thing. She and Djali then ran out of the hills to get to Ponyville while the clones of Pinkie Pie followed them.
Back at the swimming hole, Rainbow Dash and Storm Hawk were just dozing comfortably in their beach chairs. The one Pinkie Pie clone giggled as another clone grabbed her tail and used it to tickle her nose.
"Achoo!" Rainbow Dash sneezed, knocking her sunglasses off. "What the-"
Both Rainbow Dash and Storm Hawk looked stunned as they saw clones of Pinkie Pies just shouting 'Fun!' and playing around the swimming hole.
"Whoa, she was kidding about the clones!" Storm Hawk exclaims which his mother agrees.
"Except now there's triplicates...and quadruplicates!" Rainbow Dash adds when the original Pinkie Pie arrived, carrying the inflatable raft on her head.
"Dash and Hawk are gonna love this! Aw, if I push her around on this floaty thing, it'll be fun and relaxing." Pinkie Pie said, but noticed all of her clones shouting in the distance. "Uh-oh!"
She then saw Rainbow Dash and Storm Hawk barricading themselves with the beach chair tilted up like a wall and holding an umbrella. Storm Hawk finally had enough as he flies up, channeling his element with lighting and delivered an electric shock, shocking the number of clones and it got them vanished.
"Phew, thanks Storm Hawk." Rainbow Dash said with relief.
"Don't thank we yet, there might be more of them." Storm Hawk told his mother. "We gotta head back to Ponyville."
Rainbow Dash gave her son a nod as she and Storm Hawk fly their way to Ponyville, leaving Pinkie Pie alone which made her shocked that the Pegasus colt was able to vanish her clones.
"Gosh, I didn't think he could pull that off, but it's best to never get on his bad side. I wonder what fun they're having raising the barn at Applejack's right now." Pinkie Pie said quickly. "I'd better go check!"
And with that, Pinkie Pie ran off, leaving the raft behind.
At Sweet Apple Acres, Applejack, Big Macintosh, Pear Butter, Bright Mac, Apple Shine, along with the relatives Apple Fritter and Meadow Song, were making sounds of exertion as they slowly lifted one of the side walls up for the new barn. It was then the clones of Pinkie Pie arrived, shouting 'Fun!' as they bounced around. Their presence made focusing on the job at hand rather difficult and one of the clones stomped on Big Mac's back, causing him to let go of the rope. The others soon lost their ropes as well since they couldn't hold the wall up on their own.
"No!" Applejack shouted as the wall they had just lifted and the other walls that had been set up came tumbling down, leaving only the unfinished silo standing. The clones didn't seem to care and just kept chanting and bouncing around. It was then Pinkie Pie arrived.
"Oh phew! Looks like I haven't missed a thing!" Pinkie Pie said, but immediately got a fierce glare from Applejack along with her family.
"I wanna know right now where all you Pinkies come form!" Applejack demands. "So, I can find out who's responsible for y'all ruinin' our barn raising!"
It was then the clones of Pinkie Pie caused the silo to come crashing down.
"Uh, you look pretty busy right now so...maybe we should talk a little later?" Pinkie Pie said nervously as she then ran off, not even noticing her copies had decided to follow her. They continued to chant while Applejack and Apple Shine angrily slams their hat into the dirt.
"Y'all come here and clean up after yourselves this instant!" Applejack yelled but the clones paid no attention.
They just passed a tall mount of hay when it's discovered that the original Pinkie Pie was hiding behind it.
"Oh no, what have I done." Pinkie Pie said sadly. "What have I done?! My poor friends..."
Rose Lotus and Djali continued running through Ponyville, noticing there were many more Pinkie Pie clones.
"Okay, I've seen Mom doing her usual antics just to get me or anypony laugh, but this is completely new." Rose Lotus said. "How in Equestria are more than one Mom on the same day?!"
Then, Rarity, Kronk, Golden Charm, and Flora Heart, who's on the baby stroller, walks up to the gypsy filly with an irritated look.
"Darling, do you have any idea what's going on out here?!" Rarity demands, earned a deadpan look on Rose's face.
"Judging by your outburst, I'm guessing someponies are having 'fun'?" Rose Lotus questions.
"Yes! We don't know how, but a bunch of Pinkie's just went rampaging through our shop!" Rarity answered. "This is just dreadful!"
"I know, but I've never seen so much pink in my life." Rose Lotus remarked.
"We can't stand it!" Kronk snapped. "We must simply find a way to fix all of this! Which is why we're heading to Twilight and see if she can fix it!"
"And how is she supposed to stop something that she doesn't even know what cause this in the first place?" Rose Lotus asks, raising her eyebrow as Rarity, Kronk, and Golden Charm pondered which made them realize something.
"Oh...point taken." Kronk said.
However, they then see a bunch of ponies all over Ponyville run past them and by the looks of it, they all sounded very irritated.
"I guess we're not the only ones who found this entire Pinkie Pie scenario a disaster." Golden Charm said.
"And something tells me that those ponies want answers." Rose Lotus agrees. "I may not know what's going on with all of these clones, but I know that whatever caused it may have been some kind of enchantment."
"So, I'm guess you're going to see Twilight as well?" Rarity asks.
"Yeah. Maybe she can help us find the cause what...the real Mom possibly did with all of this." Rose Lotus replied.
And with that, Rose Lotus, Rarity, Kronk, Golden Charm, and Djali then run off to go to the Golden Oak Library to see if Twilight had anything that's the cause of all the clones.
At the Golden Oak Library, there's already an angry mob over right in front of Twilight, Spike, Comet, and Daylight shouting angrily and complaining about all of the clones of Pinkie Pies scattered across Ponyville. Rose Lotus then ran to them as they were trying to calm the angry mob down a bit.
"I take it that you've been experiencing the Pinkie Pie problem as well?" Daylight questioned.
"Yeah. This is not what I expected my day with Mom to be like, let alone a bunch of them." Rose Lotus answered as they turned to the angry mob as they continued to try and calm them down.
"Please, everypony, hang on while we try to figure something out!" Twilight said as they entered the library to then discuss and try to figure out why there were so many Pinkie Pies in Ponyville.
"Okay seriously, who in the right minds would try and make more than one Pinkie Pie?" Comet questions, annoyed.
"I don't know, but we've got to focus!" Twilight said. "I've got to try to remember the name of the legend she mentioned."
"Legend?" Rose Lotus repeats, raising her eyebrow. "What did Mom mention anything about this?"
"Yes." Twilight replied. "She mentioned something about some kind of legend on the pond, but it's hard for me to remember what it was. Legend of...um...some kind of a pool."
Rose Lotus, Comet, and Daylight then let out a huge gasp at hearing those terms.
"The Legend of the Mirror Pond!?" Rose Lotus, Comet, and Daylight exclaims, earned their attention.
"Mirror Pond? You three know it?" Spike questions.
"Yes, Mom said it's a pond deep in the Everfree Forest that if you say the right enchant, it'll multiply your entire self into a clone." Rose Lotus explains. "However, the clone isn't exactly perfect."
"What do you mean?" Twilight inquires.
"Did you see how all of the Pinkie Pies around the town were yelling 'fun'?" Comet counters with a question. "Pinkie doesn't normally say it like she doesn't have any more brain cells to say anything else."
"Well, that does explain a lot." Twilight said when her son made a valid point. "Normally, she would just pop out of nowhere and surprise us, but these Pinkies have much different plans."
"The real Pinkie Pie must've used the pool to make personal copies of herself and now it's just a whole party of Pinkie Pies across Ponyville!" Daylight said.
"Heh, say that five times fast." Spike said with a chuckle.
"Not funny, Spike." Comet and Daylight told him with a deadpan look.
"They're right, Spike." Twilight agrees. "Look, the point is how are we supposed to reverse the effect?"
"Actually, I can sense the glow coming from the clones." Rose Lotus said which made them confused. "For some reason, I'm starting to have a power to sense ponies glowing auras. And I'm only sensing white coming from the clone."
"So, you can sense their life force?" Daylight asks, earned a nod from the gypsy filly. "Well, what do you think, Mom?"
"I think it's tricky to find the real Pinkie, but if you think if helps, I think we can try." Twilight answered. "But I'm gonna need some help on using the reverse spell to get rid of the rest of Pinkies."
"But how are we going to do that, the clones of Pinkie are all over the place." Comet points out. "And we need a lot of help to gather a whole Pinkie Pies in one place."
"Don't worry, I'll get somepony to help. We'll focus on getting rid of the clones." Twilight said as she kissed her son on the forehead.
They all then exit the library to go and talk to the angry mob once more.
"Does anypony here know how we can tell the real Pinkie Pie from all the rest of them?" Twilight questions.
The crowd then starts to let out a confused chatter at that as they have no idea with all the Pinkie Pies running around the place. During the crowd's confusion, the real Pinkie Pie then pops out of the crowd.
"Twilight! Rosey! Comet! Daylight!" Pinkie Pie said in desperation. "I have to talk to you; I need your help!"
A Pinkie Pie clone then appears right next to Twilight and starts to mimic the way she spoke. However, Rose Lotus walks in front of her mother.
"If you are the real Mom, do you know what happen to me when I first came to Ponyville?" Rose Lotus questions.
"I do, your people and your parents from Earth were massacred by the Anti-Romani after you entered through the magic mirror." Pinkie Pie explains. "And after that, Princess Celestia ask of me to take of you and your goat at Sugarcube Corner and I've been doing it since. You've also accepted me as your mom."
Rose Lotus then uses her unique power to sense her aura, which she had the color of pink which made her smiled as she hugs her mother.
"You're real and the real Mom I know knows what happen to me and she accepted me for who I am." Rose Lotus said as the real Pinkie Pie hugs her daughter.
"No, she's not! I'm the real Pinkie!" Pinkie Pie 1 said, stood next to her and Rose Lotus.
"I'm the real Pinkie!" Pinkie Pie 2 said, standing next to Twilight from the left.
"No, I'm the real Pinkie!" Pinkie Pie 3 said, standing next to Twilight from the right.
"I'm the real Pinkie!" Pinkie Pie 4 said, appeared from Fancy Pant's boiler hat.
"No, I'm the real Pinkie!" Pinkie Pie 5 said, appeared under the fourth clone.
"I'm the real Pinkie!" Pinkie Pie 6 said, stood beside a pony with a fancy mustache.
Many, many more of them have infiltrated the crowd shouting either 'Fun!' or 'I'm the real Pinkie!' which just freaks everypony out. Applejack then walks up to Twilight and two foals.
"How in tarnation are we supposed to tell which is the real Pinkie?" Applejack questions.
"She's right here." Rose Lotus said as she and her mother approaches. "Her aura is pink, while the rest of her clones were white. They may look the same, but she knows there are times when we get a chance to have fun."
Pinkie Pie knows that her daughter is right, but the gypsy filly turns to her.
"What I want to know is, why did you make so many clones of yourself?" Rose Lotus questioned which made the real Pinkie Pie sighed.
"It's you guys." Pinkie Pie answered sadly. "I couldn't stand being left out on so many activities that I just had to find some way to where I wouldn't be able to miss out on all of them."
"And you thought that more of you would solve this problem?" Rose Lotus asks again.
"Yeah." Pinkie Pie answered again. "But now I think I just made the situation worse. All I wanted was to hang out with all of my friends, but instead I caused a Pinkie storm."
Rose Lotus and the others are now beginning to understand why there were more than one Pinkie Pie's and feeling left out. She then hugs her mother which it got her attention.
"Mom, I know you really want to give us a good time by giving them company, but you have to understand that just because you can't hang out with your friends for one day, doesn't mean that you have to try and squeeze in the time by making copies of yourself." Rose Lotus told her, breaking the hug. "There are plenty of opportunities for you to hang out with us. In fact, there's almost always an opportunity to spend time with your friends."
"You really think so?" Pinkie Pie asks, raising her eyebrow.
"I know so." Rose Lotus answered with a nod. "Mom, you don't need copies of yourself to hang out with your friends at once. All you have to do is ask and then see if they have the time to make room for you tomorrow or the day after."
They nodded in agreement of what the gypsy filly have told Pinkie Pie, who smiles a little from that before she hugs her daughter.
"And I think I know how to gather the Pinkies in one place." Twilight said as they gathered around, formulating a plan.
After a few long minutes of planning, Applejack and Apple Shine were chasing a stampede of Pinkie Pie clones in one direction along with Big Mac, Apple Bloom, Pear Butter, Bright Mac, and Winona. The clones kept shouting their usual 'Fun!' as they kept rounding them up.
"Hyah, Pinkies! Hyah!" Applejack shouts, bumped a clone back into the herd.
The clones are at the outer edge of the unlikely herd, but a solid nudge from Apple Shine pushes her back in. Apple Bloom and Bright Mac does the same to one to the opposite side. Winona leaps from mane to mane, landing on any Pinkie Pie clones who try to jump out and knocking them back down. The mass of clones barrels over the bridge spanning to Ponyville stream and toward the main hall. As Applejack, Apple Shine, and Winona drive them from the rear, Big Mac, Apple Bloom, Pear Butter, and Bright Mac race ahead and the gets the doors open just in time with Applejack and Apple Shine pushes them inside and follows them. They're getting annoyed with the constant shouting.
"Oh, give it a rest." Applejack and Apple Shine said.
And then, Twilight, Comet, and Daylight readied their horns while aiming at the clones.
"You two ready?" Twilight asks with a smirk, earned a nod from her kids. "Ready...Go!"
They then fired their reverse magic at the clones one by one, vanishing the clones which causes them to inflate like a balloon with frightening speed, leaving only their mane, tail and hooves untouched. The pumped-up Pinkies then shrinks away into nothing, becoming a swirl of magic that streaks away. It then flies out of the window to go back into the Everfree Forest and go back inside of the Mirror Pool. They kept firing their horns and vanishing the clones until their no more, which their horns were on fire and they blew the horns to cool off.
"Well, now that's over with." Comet said as he turns to Pinkie Pie.
"I really owe all of you an apology. I thought I could use a Mirror Pool to make more me's, but I guess I can tell how that turned out." Pinkie Pie said sadly. "But I guess sometimes I will have to choose between them."
Ros Lotus then comforts her by hugging as Pinkie Pie hugs her in return.
When the real Pinkie Pie being solved out, everything went back to normal as she decided to spend some time with her daughter by having a picnic. Twilight, Comet, and Daylight sealed off the entrance to the Mirror Pool as they levitated a huge boulder over the hole. Pinkie Pie was able to learn a lesson about friendship through all of the disaster as she recites the letter.
'Dear Princess Celestia,
It's great to have fun, but it's even greater to have friends and a daughter. And having lots of friends means that you sometimes have to make choices as to who you'll spend time with. But that's okay, because good friends will always give you lots of opportunities to have fun. So even if you're missing out, it's never for long.

With that being said, Spike blows the letter up into the air to send off to Princess Celestia and he exits the Sugarcube Corner while Pinkie Pie walks to her daughter who finished her fortune telling and walking to her mother as they hugged. Their friends were watching this heartwarming sight since both Pinkie Pie and Rose Lotus are close.
Watching them from the flames, Lord Garmadon smirks evilly.
"Well, that may have been a minor annoyance in Ponyville, but it's all worth it to get the sample from the Mirror Pond." Lord Garmadon said with a sinister smirk as Fangtom approaches.
"My Lord, I have extracted the water from the pond you've requested." Fangtom informed him, representing the crystal now infused with the water along with his powers.
Lord Garmadon rose up from his throne and walked down to Fangtom.
"Excellent." Lord Garmadon said as he takes the crystal and uses his powers to take the Mirror Pond water from the crystal and placed it into an orb that contain his powers. "You've done well, Fangtom."
"Thank you, my Lord." Fangtom said as he then slithered into the shadows, while Lord Garmadon stared at the Mirror Pond sample in the orb.
He placed the crystal on the orb as it began to violently spark before all of King Sombra's powers were now replaced by Lord Garmadon's powers and were zapped into the Mirror Pond water.
"With the Mirror Pond water now successfully stored into my powers, along with Sombra's power replaced by mine, this will give me unimaginable abilities to create more of my army and take over Equestria with all of my Undead, Oni, and Serpentines at my side." Lord Garmadon said before he turned face something on the wall. "But in cause the Great Devourer has failed me, I'll always have a backup plan. And I'm missing only a few more staves, but thanks to those pesky fools, we only had half of them to find. Also..."
On the wall, it showed a stained glass window with a bell that belongs to...
"Grogar once tried to take over Equestria with his Bewitching Bell thousand years ago, but me, my brother, and Gusty the Great banished him. And it's being held at the Mt. Everhoof." Lord Garmadon said with a sinister smirk. "But once I find it, the reign of Lord Garmadon begins."
He then lets out his sinister laugh which echoed in the throne room.
