This is a quick update.
I have launched the redo of the opening! Fine like a wine.
Alright let's crack this, here are some limitations I had while redoing HULUORIGINALS work. It's not mandatory. Read at own risk, might contain spoilers or detail the directions of the story.
They had a LOT of characters.
The squad had 8 characters, and they had a more 3rd person narrative style to their story. Mine is far more personal, flow of consciousness. I had to install personalities into characters I did not know their purposes for.
They had even more than the ones listed. I'm not abandoning them but man it's very hard to add personalities to them without wasting them.
Which made it worse when I decided to not use any names, none whatsoever but added some aliases afterwards.
Charlotte/Charles Du Nois (But here we call her Dubois because it's better.)
They introduced her as a her in this story when the basis of my recollection was that she was a crossdresser. This is one of the biggest plot holes from the transfer in my opinion, it was messy.
I made her really angry, a lot of my characters early on were angry.
It's just awkward as this is a pivoting part of the character.
Characters look.
If you've ever watched Infinite Stratos. (Hopefully not.) You'll notice the more "appealing" designs. I dislike the idea of these characters on the script matching exactly 1 to 1 how they look on the screen or manga.
I'm not saying they look completely different, some of them do look quite similar. I just don't like how they flaunt themselves.
To blame myself I barely added any actual character descriptions, because if I did then MAN this would take even longer.
If you do google IS UNITS. They look stupid. Don't assume they look like that. They might look similar but don't assume they look like that
5. I started writing when I started writing this.
Some characters get angry all the time, sometimes I use things like she grabbed a sword to stab him.
Characters are too easily forgiven or forgotten.
But hey, what are you gonna do?
6. Ichika not being incognito.
You know if I'm a hidden operative for an international spanning secret military force. I WOULDN'T DROP A GUN TO ONE OF THE BIGGEST SNITCHES OF ALL TIME.
What am I saying. What am i saying.
That was the biggest work around that entire sequence. Because how would you react to a questionable and untrustworthy individual dropping an unloaded weapon next to you.
I just had to mention that. It does have its place, it is part of the story.
But maaan. I'm playing around with it.
7. Cecelia.
She's kicked around a bit too much in HULU's story for my taste. That's all.
There's probably more but hey, WE'RE BACK BABY! Expect a new upload…. Sometime? I got finals coming up in a bit and this was one of my bigger distractions. HELL YEA!
I'll try to go back to weekly, but if not then once every two weeks.
