Prelude

AN: AN: Now I know that I was planning on doing a Yugioh 5D crossover fanfiction and I still plan on doing it, but I've decided to delay it temporarily until probably April to May at the earliest.

I don't own Marvel or Berserk or anything themes of games I might use; they belong to their respected owners apart from my Oc's. Also, I am not a professional writer so please keep criticism of this civil please. Along with that if you dislike how I describe characters appearance then I would suggest not reading because I do describe characters in detail

Eons ago there were two powerful demonic entities that once roamed the world named Chthon and Rugranid the Destroyer.

For centuries the two demons battled it out for control over the planet with them battling a total of four times with each one of them gaining one win and the other two times ending in a draw with them being roughly being equal in power. Out of the two Rugranid was the more powerful and had more abilities then Chthon, but Chthon was the more skilled and physically stronger of the two with the rest being equal meaning that one demon couldn't outpower the other.

But unlike Chthon who relied on his own power, Rugranid had other ideas.

Creating an army of demonic solders and manipulating the humans to aid him and to almost worship him like a god and in return he would grant them a small sample of his power though they didn't know that be gaining some of Rugranid's they would end up falling under its control and be almost be like puppets to the demonic being.

Using this to his advantage when both Chthon and Rugranid the Destroyer battle for the fifth time against each other.

Rugranid would have a surprise up his sleeve to his advantage.

Using his demonic creatures and his army of followers, Rugranid was able to gain the upper hand and through many mornings and many nights, Chthon was finally defeated and sealed away from Earth.

However because of the amount of power that had been used by Demonic God of Destruction to defeat Chthon that it caused Rugranid to have to rest for some time but not before using a human female who worshiped him to give birth to twin children a boy and a girl which would be heirs and a vessels of their fathers will.

With their Master now in his slumber, the now named Rugtrians would enter hiding and would begin manipulating events behind the scenes in order to further grow their religion and to grow in power, all in hope for the return of their Master.

However everything would change on one fateful night.

Somewhere in an unknown location

Inside of what looked like an old house was a man who looked like an almond skin colour with him standing quite tall at six foot four and him being quite a big man. He was currently wearing what looked like clothes you would see some guy wear on a hip-hop music video with him wearing a white sleeveless shirt and some ripped trousers as he also wore a bandana over his forehead just below his short chocolate brown hair and grey eyes.

Currently he was holding a women hand while trying not to panic.

The reason why he was trying not to panic?

The first one being that the women was giving birth.

And the second?

Everything in the room was currently being floated up in the air by some dark energy and there was time periods of the room turned into almost what a person what imagine hell would look like or their worst nightmare.

The women looked extremely beautiful and appeared to be in her early twenties as she had ghostly pale skin with her having a crimson rubylike shape placed directly on her forehead that was currently glowing. The women had sliver hair and she also had blood red eyes.

Currently she was panting and struggling to breath as she was currently trying to give birth to her child.

"Common Merlina just a few more pushes and we'll be seeing our child with are own two eyes!" The man encouraged his wife.

The now named Merlina was panting, " I can't… I'm too tired… and I don't have much strength left…" she said in an Eastern European accent

This made the man nervous seeing his wife in this state.

He would admit to himself that he wasn't a good man as he was involved in multiple different crimes, robberies, murders and was even a womaniser as he multiple different women which is why he had multiple different children and why he was also quite poor.

But when he met Merlina, it was like meeting a goddess with how beautiful she was and with her powers it was almost like she was a goddess.

It took about a few years to prove himself to her, but it happened, and they fell in love and have been together now for about ten years and married for four.

In that time when it came to his children to his eldest son who was the only child he kept because his birth mother had died unlike his other four children who stayed with their birth parents, Merlina had become a mother to her eldest son which was something that he always wanted to give him.

A mother.

"Common Merlina! You can do it!" He tried to encourage her, "Think about us being to see our child and for Shakur being able to meet his little sibling and how we can be one big family together."

Merlina smile at her husband's encouragement even as parts of her power then hit and shattered a nearby mirror, "Your right Dan… I want to meet Shakur to meet his little brother."

The now named Dan smiled before realizing something, "Brother?" He asked.

Merlina nodded, "Yes, it came to me in a vision last night that this baby was a boy." She said as she placed her hands on her pregnant stomach that held her son who wanted to come out of her.

Dan then smiled as he gave his wife his hand, "Then you just need to do a few more pushes and we'll be holding our son in our hand. Hold my hand and break it if you have to." He encouraged Merlina who smiled at the comment.

Merlina took a deep breath before she began to push her son out of her as much as she could and with her doing this it caused her body to release even more power which caused a large amount of damage to what remained with purple and red like energy blasted out of her and her power was going crazy as it was like tearing the body apart.

After a few minutes, Merlina was breathing heavily as they both heard a baby boy crying.

Merlina then looked up and saw her son being held by her husband.

Her son had her husband hair though his hair was a little bit spiky and eye colour. His skin leaned more towards him being faired skin.

And though it wasn't visible to the naked eye of a normal human, Merlina could see the similar markings on his forehead that she had but it couldn't be seen by a normal human because her son had not yet awakened to his powers that he would have gained from her blood.

However this was short lived as Merlina then began coughing.

Dan who was smiling looking at his newborn son then heard his wife coughing and saw that she was looking even paler then she already was which made her look even more ghostly then she did before.

"Merlina…? Are you alright?" He asked hesitantly as he approached her concerned.

She shook her head, "I think… *Cough* *Cough* this is it…" She said weakly.

Dan looked wide eyed, "No! No don't say that! We'll just get you to a doctor and then-." "You know that wouldn't work…" Merlina cut him off weakly as she then coughed again as she was struggling to keep her eyes open.

"But you can go, not right after you gave birth! Our son is going to need his mother!" Dan shouted as tears was flowing down his eyes.

Merlina shook her head, "*Cough* *Cough* I knew that the moment that I had gave up my other side, all that time ago that… *Cough* *Cough* that I was living on borrow time…" Merlina then reached out and gently placed her hand onto her son's face as her son stopped crying and smiled softy at his mother which made Merlina smile, " Dan, before *Cough* *Cough* before I go, I need… you to make me a promise."

Dan with tears in his eyes nodded, "Anything." He said.

"One days, those I once served will be after Ezekiel once he's older, I need you to watch over him until the day that he is ready." Merlina asked.

Dan nodded until one thing came to mind, "Ezekiel?"

Merlina laughed slightly before coughing but once she stopped, she answered, "Our son's name, my last gift to you."

Dan smiled sadly before nodding, "I promise."

Merlina smiled before using her powers so that in the last moments of her life she could hold her newly born son before she started singing a song in a different language.

The language that Merlina song was something he'd never heard before. True he knew she spoke many languages, but this one wasn't one he recognise.

The song sounded inhuman but beautiful at the same time.

Once she was done, she looked at her son one last time, "Goodnight little prince. Know that I love you and that I will always be watching you." She then turned towards her husband who was crying more then she had ever seen him, "And thank you Dan… for being the best husband I could ever… ask for…" Merlina spoke her last words before she breathing out her last breath as she passed away.

Dan was now fully crying as he took his Ezekiel back into his hands while also giving his wife one last kiss on the cheek, "And you were the best wife a man could have asked for."

"Dad." Dan then turned around and someone who looked similar to him but smaller and younger.

This was his eldest son, Shakur.

"Is mom…?" Shakur asked already knowing the answer.

Dan looked first at his newborn son and then his eldest before saying, "Mommy is sleeping Shakur. Mommy is sleeping."
