3. Announcement!

Hi! Fancy seeing you all so soon. I don't have a story segment for this section, so it'll likely be deleted soon. The purpose of this small little addition was to remind you all that submissions will be closing this Saturday at midnight (EST time, so adjust the time for whatever time zone you may be in). doesn't really have a way for me to just announce this to you all so I had to make do with this, as dumb as it looks :p.

You'll have a twelve-hour grace period after submissions close - after that, we'll be shutting it down and proceeding with the story. As a reminder, please do not hold any hard feelings if your nugget doesn't get chosen to participate - it doesn't necessarily mean that they're a bad character or that you're a bad writer, but I can only write such a huge cast of characters before my brain starts shutting down. I've had a lot more submissions than I was expected, so it is both daunting and exciting to sort through them to pick out the fifteen unlucky nuggets that will have the honor of being butchered writing-wise 3

Speaking of the cast, some of you have asked me questions about particular elements of the roster so far. I'll state this publicly - I have skimmed through every submission I've received, but I haven't sat down and fully read through any of them. That process is reserved for after the deadline ends. I didn't want to prematurely fill up the roster before the deadline ends by developing a "first come, first serve" bias towards the characters, so I thought this approach would be fairer to those who would submit in these last few days. If you are curious about what *talents* and the gender ratio of the preemptive roster, the chapter before this one has a full list! I update it every other day, but if you notice that it's been a few days and a character you've submitted is still not on the list, feel free to reach out to me. It's already happened once, and I could see it happening again because I am not the sharpest tool in the shed. I hope that answers any questions you may have had!
