Everyone, here is part two of the story he about Deltora and don't worry this is the second part of the flashback story
(Day time) on top of the hill
We see our group of adventures on top of the hill barda is looking behind them to make sure they aren't followed cal,jasmine and lief sit on the opposite side of the hill. Lief continue said "my father filled with hope ran to the palace, thinking everything was about to change he didn't know the night a woman lost her life". A scene appeared we see a nursemaid get pushed down the stairs by prandean.
Lief said "that nursemaid's name was min, she raised my father and king endon she was Barda's mother"
(Day time) in a distance field across from the palace
We see seven of the ShadowLords ak-baba flying around the top of the palace jarred had ran twards the walls. Jarred thought while running 'the time has come endon needs my help' he hid behind a bush then he saw an arrow in the ground with a note attached to it. "Could that toy arrow be from him too?" Jarred said and then grabbed it "that's odd".
He then unraveled the message and read it "wake the bear do not fear scurry, scurry little mouse into your small, cozy house now you must lift the lid you'll be glad that you did". Jarred said "this is how endon used to write when we were kids, yes, I'm sure of it endon drew the picture to it must be some sort of code wake the bear do not fear".
He then looked ahead and saw rock that looked like a sleeping bear "that's it but how am I gonna lift this thing?" jarred said while running to it. "Whats this?" He said while feeling the ground in front of the rock then knocked he then scraped the dirt away.
Under the dirt is a secret door which he moved revealing a secret passage "the next line was scurry scurry little mouse" jarred said then went down the hole.
Secret passage
Jarred is walking throught a narrow brick wall passageway looked back since he's halfway and back "this sure is a cozy house" jarred said then walked. He reached the end of the tunnel "hmph dead end, wait the message said, lift the lid this must be it" jarred said and pushed up. On the other side the statues base lift up moved to the right revealing the end of the secret passage Jarred popped out.
Jarred said "it leads to the chapel" a voice said "who goes there" jarred drew his sword said "don't move my name is Jarred I'm a blacksmith by trade". Man said "did you just say your name is jarred it really is you, you've found my note" he stepped out into the light revealing he's endon. Endon wore clothing of green,yellow,purple and white eligent looking clothing fit for a king. Endon said "you've come" jarred said "is that you endon" then he nealed placed his arms on jarred said"can you ever forgive me?". Endon continued "I never should've questioned your loyalty back then you were right all along jarred I come to realize you were the only one I could ever really trust i'm begging you please help us" then put his hands together.
Jarred sheathed his sword placed a hand on endons shoulder said "a king should never kneel before anyone endon now get up so I can see your face better". Jarred lifted endon up so they're both looking each other standing this show, their friendship had never perished "you maybe wearing that crown on your head but I can see it's still you" jarred said. Endon was pleased said "I didn't even recognize you with that beard king brandon created that passage it's a secret known only to the Royal family even the chief advisors know nothing of it".
Endon held the letter jarred wrote all those years ago said "you wrote this when you fleded the palace didnt you, have you waited for me all this time". Jarred answered "I knew that one day you'd find that note and learn the truth" then endon crumbled the letter "whats wromg?" Jarred asked. Then we see min's body lying on an altar with a cloth covering her head "don't tell me that's our dear old min" jarred said. Endon explained "it happened quite late last night she came to my chambers, trembling with fear she said, she heard something horrible when she was working in the sewing room"
Jarred asked "what could've scared her that badly?"endon said "she said I had enemies in the palace a handful of people, but she heard them making plans for a big attack a great evil is to strike at daybreak". Endon said "at first I didn't believe her tried to reassure her tell her to go back to bed and get some rest good morning came we found her at the bottom of flight of stairs they said she had an accident and fell, but I don't believe that's what really happened".
Jarred said "and thats why you signaled me to come, I saw tge seven ak-baba earlier today" endon said "what you saw them here in Del!?". "They're probably flying over the palace as we speak" jarred said and endon put his right hand to his face in grief. Endon said "so min wasn't mistaken once again I've ignored a friend" and began crying "endon listen to me you must go to the tower right now and put on the belt of deltora" jarred said. Endon said "no if the ak-baba are already here that it's too late then the door to the chapel opened and from it stood a woman almost wearing the exact same design as endon.
"Are you alright endon?" Woman said "yes sharn i am" endon said while sharn walked to them she was hesitant to jarred. Endon said "its alright thid is jarred" and this made ger happy "jarred im so pleased you come to help us" sharn said. Jarred bowed said "your majesty I'm here to do what I can to fight whatever this evil is that plagues deltora but we must aft quickly we must go to the tower so endon can reclaim the belt and its powers".
"Wha but the rule doesn't allow me to do that" endon said jarred got up said "forget the rule,endon how long are you going to live your life by that nonsense!". Endon said "you don't understand" sharn said "there are no excuses you are the king endon I believe that means your duty to protect Deltora is far greater than any need to obey the rule". Jarred then said "we must get the belt now, let's hurry to the tower".
(afternoon time) the palace
We see the giant seven ak-baba flying around the palace "its an ak-baba" guard said while one flew over them, creating a wind breeze. One of the ak-baba flew causing a palace guard to fall off landed right on a box pile covered by a sheet. "Its headed for the tower" guard said "quick get the nets" other guard said the ak-baba we're circling the tower while the belt was kept. A man was running up the steps with a crossbow this man was barda without a beard and long hair"get back down here barda" a guard said.
Barda stopped turned around said "captain" then captain said "don't be reckless I heard about your mother why don't you go and see her, her body lies in the royal chapel it said that the king and himself requested that she be placed there when he found out". Barda said " last night she came by the guard house in a panic, she told me I needed to leave the palace immediately" captain said "why would she say that?".
Barda said "I have a feeling that she knew something about this attack, I told her that I would never leave the palace that my duty as a guard keeps me here, no matter what". He continued "I still believe that and i know my mother would understand if she were still with us, if we're able to fend off these beasts and protect the palace then I'll go pay my respects im going" he went back up running the captain said "barda".
Arrows were fired upon the ak-baba by other guards crossbows, and the creature simply just swooped past them like it didn't hurt them at all. Barda was hiding beneath the stair walls when he got up there, all the soldiers had been killed "you'll pay for that" he said then fired an arrow at the creature. That made the ak-baba angry and barda threw his crossbow away and picked up a javelin ax the ak-baba arrived roaring but then it flew past him. Ak-baba came back from behind barda he face him with his weapon.
(somewhere in the palace)
Endon,jarred and sharn are seen walking up a flight of curvy stairs suddenly the entire place began to quake. "They've broken into the treasure keep" guard said "no" jarred said as he charged upward we see a ak-baba on top of the broken tower. Everyone was clamoring seeing the horror they just saw one of the ak-baba was digging through the tower grabbing the ruby with its mouth.
Next scene we see the ak-baba charge flying towards barda the creature ended up of knocking him into the forest and he was screaming during the fall. Back to the treasure keep tower another ak-baba stole another one of the gems sharn got up said "lets go" and the guys followed her. One more of the orange and green ak-baba took another gem when they walked up they saw even more horror guards laying on the floor the treasure keep a mess.
"This is terrible" sharn said "wheres the belt gone" jarred said while walking forward suddenly an ak-baba head bender infront of him. Jarred said "you vile creature" while drawing his sword, charged and slashed the ak-baba head "jarred" endon said. But it was all for not, because the creature skin is tough ended up, breaking the sword the creature stared at him, but then moved to the right and picked up another gem and flew away.
They saw the spot were the ak-baba took the gem what they saw was the belt of deltora broken in pieces "the belt is broken, and all the gems have been taken" jarred said. Endon said "we were to late, to late" he was lying on the ground with sharn by his side suddenly they heard a wicked chuckle and looked behind them. The culprit was no another than the chief advisor prandean "prandean" jarred said "so jarred you have risen from the dead and come to interfere once again" prandean said. "But you are to late soon, very soon deltora will bow beneath my masters shadow" prandean said "you've lied to me my whole life" endon said then charged at him.
"Endon" jarred said prandean dodged endon and then drew a dagger and he pointed it at sharn. "Nobody move this dagger is covered with a deadly poison, one tiny scratch in the end will come very quickly indeed as it did for your mother and father and also yourprecious nurse made king endon" prandean said. Endon said "you betrayed your king and your land" prandean said "you think this is my land oh no like all the chief advisors before me my loyalty is to another place and a far greater master".
"How amusing that you still believe I care for this pathetic kingdom, king endon you are the last in a line of royal buffoons you all thought you were in control but little by little, we robbed your family of power" prandean said. "You were puppets moving as we pulled the strings and at last the time has come to take the only thing left protecting you" prandean said. We see the belt broken again "finally the blacksmith adin accursed work has been undone the belt of deltora is no more" prandean said.
Jarred said "but you'll never be able to destroy the seven gems" prandean said "they are to be scattered far and wide hidden were no one will be able to find them". "And im sorry but when your queen and her unbirn brat are no more the grms will become mere pebbles" prandean said holding the knife close to sharn. Endon said "no don't" prandean just laughed and a shadow was casted over him, soon the entire sky began to grow dark.
While this was happening prandean pushed sharn close to the edge with the poison dagger "my master the mighty ShadowLord" prandean said. During that entire time the sky was red dark lightning stirred and then two giant evil eyes popped up in the sky this was the ShadowLord. Sharn had to think of something quick so she looked to the left side gasping this caught prandeans attention said "what are you up to". She said "it's nothing I thought I saw something but it's nothing at al" prandean move the dagger she backed away he grumbled. "You believe you can still be saved" prandean said "I wouldn't dare who could save us now" sharn said "hm hm so you say" pradean said while walked closer to the edge.
"You two stay where you are you move I'll destroy your painted doll of a queen" prandean said "there's no need to look no ones there". Then prandean said "hmph a likely story" while pushing her to the side to look suddenly sharn grabbed prandean by the waist causing him to drop the knife over the edge. "Un hand me" prandean said while jarred and endon came ftom behind and helped sharn lift him up. "What do you think your doing" prandean said while the others lifting him up over the edge of the tower and he plummeted to his death.
They heard his body thud and sharn began to cry "how did you think to do that?" Endon said. Sharn replied "I knew he wouldn't be able to resist having a look I mean, I'm just a painted doll" she smiled, victoriously. Jarred placed his hand on endons shoulder said "endon i must say you are very fortunate to be married to such a courageous woman".
They looked at the sky "ugh we lost the protection of the belt there's nothing to stop the ShadowLord from gaining complete control over deltora we must hurry to the tunnel and leave the palace" jarred said. Next we see their tree getting burned by the fire and all three of them have made it through the tunnel to see the palace in disarray. Jarred walked back said "come on you too you shouldn't stay here too long" endon said "I can't go I've led the kingdom to this fate I can't just abandon the palace, I can't abandon been my people".
"You have no choice endon you have to go into hiding for a while" jarred said "right now your only concern should keeping yourselfs safe if anything happens to you they'll be no hope deltora will be lost to the ShadowLord forever" he continued. Sharn said "he's right endon we must flee the city and find a place to hide" endon said "but I can't just run away from this ive got to find the gems and return them to the belt".
Jarred said "why don't we go to my forge for now I can fix the belt there and you can rest a bit it's much too dangerous for us to stay and talk here".
(night time) forge house
Anna said "please tell you this your majesty you'll catch a cold" while giveing sharn a blanket on her lap. Sharn said "how generous I see you're with child do you know when?" Anna said "it's in early autumn". Sharn replied "i hope both our babies are healthy and strong" anna said "i do as well your majesty" sharn said "please you can call me sharn and what is your name?" Anna said "that's very kind of you my name is Anna".
Jarred and endon were in the same place the gurls were in the house "one day all seven gems will be found" jarred said "but what if In no longer hear when that day comes it will only recognize a descendent of adin" endon said. "Endon" jarred said "what is it?" Endon said "i hate to tell you this but you've already lost the trust of your people" endon said "what!?". Jarred continues "only someone who holds the trust of the citizens of deltora can wield thr protective powers of the belt it seems the ShadowLord realized this early on his plan took many generations but he waited patiently".
Endon said "if only I had been a stronger king, if only I had listened to you" sharn walked to him placed a hand on his shoulder. Sharn said "my dear you mustn't blame yourself for this besides all is not lost our child will also be a direct descendent of adin, if the Shadowlord can be patient, so can we". Sharn continued "we shall hide but not for ourselves we will do it to protect our child and to prepare for the future in time, we may go to the grave but our child will live to lift the evil from our land".
And so king endon and queen sharn fled the city of del to protect their unborn child the last hope for deltora. All four we're in some part of the forest endon and sharn wore cloaks and had a lantern they said goodbye to jarred and anna. Jarred stayed and repaired the belt in secret he pledge his life of the quest of finding the lost gems.
(day time) back to the present
Lief said "but my father got injured so my parents decided that when I turned 16 they'd ask me to go instead of him". Jasmine said "wow lief until now I didn't know why you two were doing this" cal added "ya same here that's heavy". Barda was looking up in the sky tgen kree cane back cawing "hey kree did you find a safe place" jasmine said any cawed flew into the direction they were facing.
"What he see?" Lief asked "there's a large tree, a short distance from here it be perfect for us tohide under" jasmine said. Cal said "that works out just fine" lief said "great hey barda" and he said "you guys go ahead". Lief asked "whats going on?" Barda then unsheathed his sword and they all saw a giant ak-baba flying towards them in the distance.
"Another ak-baba" lief said as he and cal stood up barda said "Im not the same as I was back then one ak-baba doesn't scare me". Jasmine said "what are you talking about" lief said "barda" and cal said "wait" and they all charged toward him. They dog pilled on barda as Lief covered everyone with his cloak becoming invisible the ak-baba flew past them not knowing they were there.
Lief said "what on earth were you thinking? Sure you could take on one but we need you alive" barda said "ya". Lief said "look you've gotta save your strength for the fights that matter" barda closed his eyes and sighed. The ak-baba flew around for a minute, and then decided to fly back the way it came as soon as it was gone, lief undid the invisibility cloak everyonr stand except barda.
Barda while sitting said "what got into me sorry about that it's just that listening to your story brought back all kinds of memories that I some times wish I didn't have, still its no excuse". Kree's cawing was heard "ok we'll be right there" jasmine said.
(day time) under the tree
The tree was submerged in the ground in a ditch but was still planted like a regular tree only difference is the leaves on the tree provided cover. Our group is standing under the tree you could see the sun shining through the branches. Jasmine said "well we should be pretty safe don't you think" then lief just sat down on the ground said "even I can tell this tree is a good tree". Barda said "I think I'd have to agree" jasmine made a pleased noise and cal said "this should be a good place to camp for the night and day".
Lief said "what's that Mr. tree you think we should get some rest well if you say so sweet dreams" cal said "i'm not sleeping yet me,baggy and hatter have some work to do inside them as soon as we're done, we'll join you". Then he placed baggey down along with hatter and they both sprouted their spider and octopus legs "hatter you collect some dirt I will be inside baggy creating a reeah potion dont stop dirt collecting until you see me" he said and went inside baggie while hatte began collecting dirt.
(day time) inside baggie
Cal had taken the blood sample of reeah the snake that was the former King of the rats and began creating a potion in the alchemy sphere with the help of baggy manifestation. When he was done he went to the white traing sphere down the potion in his throat and after image the giant snake reeah appeared behind him, then disappeared. "Ok lets see what i can do" cal said as he transformed into his creature form he got purple scales on his orange skin not only that but he got a second venom ability. After he gave his body time to get used to his new power addition he then took the boat and for the exit.
Under the tree
Cal popped out of baggy and signal her with his hands to get on his back and she did hatter spotted them and stopped dirt collecting. Cal walked to hatter "ready to make some golems hatter" he said hatter hummed in agreement flipped himself upside down and retracted in spider features. Cal said "here we go" and jumped right into Hatter.
(day time) inside hatter
Cal had arrived at the Shire like farm see that the dirt hatter had collected was all around the golems and he began working with hatter manifestation. They started sweep the dirt together into the golems boddy and they were complete. He decided to take a lunch break and ate four of the sweet plums then tossed the cores into dirt pile with the rest that would soon be a compost heap. Cal opened the box saw the four golem cores they looked like the letter T that represents the top part of a human. He then started to write some inscriptions on the cores with his creature finger then gave them each a name taro,jiro,saburo and kutaro.
Cal began tilling the dirt making rows for his crops then he planted a variety of seeds in their backs. Watered them with water from his lake with the help of the watering can he bought then placed the cores in the back of the golem's necks. Cal said "hatter let me know when they wake up I want them to be introduced to us" hatter hummed in agreement.
(Day time) under hiden tree
Cal popped out of hatter then hatter turn right sode up and cal put him on his head. Everyone was getting ready for napping which pleased Cal because now he can get some nap with them to.
Everyone had gone to sleep lief laying on his right side barda upward sleeping with his sword infront of him they are both on the ground. While jasmine sleeping with filli and kree next to her on a big branch the size of a bed. Cal slept the same way only he slept on his back with baggy on his stomach and hatter over his eyes.
All right everybody the flashback story within the story is finally over. Sorry it took so long but with this complete now we can get back to the main quest. And don't you worry I'll make sure to include who my original characters,ideas and story line in this story.
