I don't own any characters. She Hulk: Attorney at Law belongs to Disney and the MCU. A Series of Unfortunate Events belongs to both Daniel Hander and Netflix.

It was a nice day in Los Angeles, and everyone was going about their business. No one noticed the little black car driving down the road or cared about the passengers inside. The driver was an African American man named Mr. Poe. He had a thin black mustache and was dressed in a black suit with a matching hat. In the passenger seats were 3 children named Violet, Klaus and Sunny Baudelaire. Violet was 14 years old with long dark brown hair and blue eyes. Klaus was 12 years old with short brown hair and matching brown eyes with glasses. Sunny was only one with blue eyes and had a small curl of blonde hair that had a small red bow in it. They had recently been orphaned in a house fire and had just lost their second guardian Uncle Monty. Now they could wonder what their new guardian would be like and hope that he or she would be able to stand up to Count Olaf and his troupe.

Klaus decided to find out for himself and with that, he pulled himself out of his head as he said, "Mr. Poe, is it true that our new guardian is related to the Hulk?"

"Yes, and if I recall, her name is Jennifer Walters. He may not be able to see her very often, but I heard they are quite close." Mr. Poe answered.

"Does this mean that we might meet the Hulk one day?" Klaus asked with hope in his voice.

"I don't know, but maybe." Mr. Poe stated.

Klaus was so happy at the thought of meeting Bruce Banner, that he almost didn't care when Mr. Poe dropped them off at a nice-looking apartment building with a note that told them Jennifer Walters's apartment number before, he drove off.

Klaus was pulled out of his head as he heard Violet utter, "That…!"

She paused as she fought back the urge to call Mr. Poe a series of unkind names in front of her younger siblings. Instead, she calmed herself down, let out a sigh and said "I don't why he does this to us. Does he care so little that we're nothing but a paycheck to him?"

Klaus and Sunny could shake their heads as they and their older sister made their way into the apartment. As they made their way into the lobby, they went to the front desk where they were greeted by a lady who asked, "How can I help you children?"

Violet decided to speak up with ""We're looking for the apartment of Jennifer Walters, she's our new guardian."

That caused the woman to do a double take as she asked, "I'm sorry, can you say that again?"

"We're looking for the apartment number of our new guardian Jennifer Walters." Violet repeated herself, unsure of what was wrong.

"Are you serious? You kids aren't pulling my leg, right?" The receptionist stated.

"No, why would we lie about our new guardian?" Klaus wondered.

"You haven't watched the news, have you?" The receptionist questioned.

"No, why?" Violet wondered as the receptionist turned on a nearby tv.

On screen, a female version of the Hulk, only she was much skinnier, and she was wearing a lawyer's outfit. Under the photo of the woman was her name Jennifer Walters.

All 3 Baudelaires eyes widened in shock as Sunny uttered "Be!" Which meant "You've gotta be kidding me?"

The receptionist took another look at the Baudelaires and said, "Are you sure that this isn't some mistake?"

"No, Mr. Poe, he's in charge of our family fortune, dropped us off here and said that Jennifer Walters is our new guardian." Klaus explained.

The receptionist looked very annoyed now, but thankfully the Baudelaires could tell that it wasn't directed at them.

She then looked at Violet again as she asked, "You're the oldest right?"

"Yes." Violet answered as she tried to hide her nerves.

"Do you have this Mr. Poe's number?" The receptionist asked.

"Yes." Violet replied again, feeling scared that this seemingly meek looking receptionist was going to do everything in her power to get Mr. Poe fired.

Reluctantly, Violet pulled out the piece of paper and handed it over the receptionist. She soon called the police, child protective services, Mr. Poe and finally, Jennifer Walters, a.k.a She-Hulk, herself.

Sometime later, the Baudelaires found themselves sitting in a police station as they watched Jennifer Walters, a CPS worker and a police officer arguing with Mr. Poe on the matter of the Baudelaire children.

Sunny looked up at her older siblings and asked "Ei-no." Which meant "What's going to happen to us?"

Klaus let out a sad sigh as he replied with "I don't know, personally I would love it if Jennifer ends up as our new guardian. It might make Olaf think twice about coming near us, but now I'm not sure if Jennifer will feel the same way and lots of other people don't think it's a good idea."

"Well, I hope that whoever we do end up with I hope that they'll be like Uncle Monty and be able to make Olaf think twice about coming after us." Violet replied as both Klaus and Sunny nodded their heads in agreement.

Just then, a police officer exited the meeting room and approached the Baudelaires as he announced "Well, after much discussion. We're all decided that the best thing is to let you guys stay with She-Hulk while we look for a new more appropriate guardian for you children. In the meantime, Mr. Poe will be under investigation for his questionable placements of you."

"What about Count Olaf and his men? Aren't you going to hunt them down after what he did to us?" Klaus wondered.

The police officer looked a little surprised at the 12-year old's words before he answered with "Of course, we'll do our best to hunt him down. We always have."

I highly doubt that. Klaus thought to himself in frustration. However, he didn't say anything.

As the police officer left, a man and woman walked up to the Baudelaires and said, "Excuse me, are you children the Baudelaires?"

"Who is asking?" Violet wondered as a sense of fear came into her.

"We're Jennifer's patents and you guys are going to live with us until this whole mess is sorted out." The woman explained.

Jennifer noticed the older couple before as she said "Mom. Dad. I'm so sorry that you had to be dragged into this."

She then turned to the Baudelaires and added "I'm sorry that you guys were dragged into this too. If I hadn't become She-Hulk, this whole mess wouldn't be happening."

"Still, the fact that you are She-Hulk would give Olaf and his troupe pause about coming after us." Klaus stated.

Jennifer chuckled as she added "True, but because of that same reason child protection services have decided that I'm not a good fit for you."

Where were they when Olaf and his troupe were stalking, harassing us and killed Uncle Monty? Now they want to step up, too late for that. Violet thought to herself with frustration.

Sometime later, the Baudelaires were sitting in the passenger seats of Mr and Mrs. Walters's car. As they arrived in the neighborhood the children couldn't help but be in awe, at the cute little neighborhood that Jennifer had grown up in. All of the houses looked mostly the same. Still, they hoped that they would find children of their own age to play with. They hadn't had that in a long time, not since the day before that fire. However, before any of the Baudelaires could continue to dwell on the past, they were pulled out of their head as the car pulled into the driveway as Mr. Walters said, "We're here."

Soon after, he parked the car and exited it as Mrs. Walters helped the Baudelaires out and led them to the front door. Mr. Walters held open the door for the Baudelaires and they were greeted by the sight of lovely blue walls that were covered with photos of themselves, Jennifer throughout her childhood to her adulthood and their many friends and family. The living room had a tv, a couch, a table and a bookshelf filled with all kinds of books. After the Baudelaires finished looking around the room, Mr. and Mrs. Walters showed them the kitchen, which was a bright white color with a yellow ceiling. It was filled with many brown cabinets near the fridge. Just like the fridge, most of the cabinets were filled with food. However, these were nonperishable. Some of the cabinets were filled with plates, glasses, pots and pans. Near the fridge and cabinets was a lovely stove, oven and drawer. The oven was underneath the stove and the main door was a thin see-through door with a silver handle. In the kitchen was a table that was big enough for a group of six. The table was a lovely red-brown color, and the chairs were all the same matching shade as the table.

Just then, Sunny's stomach growled.

As she blushed with embarrassment, the whole group couldn't help but laugh.

"What does Sunny like to eat?" Mrs. Walters inquired.

"Be-be." Sunny answered, which meant. "I like to eat just about anything."

"She likes to eat anything." Klaus translated.

"How are you able to even understand her?" Mr. Walters wondered.

Violet and Klaus simply shrugged their shoulders as they both replied, "I don't know."

"Why don't the two of you continue the tour with my husband and I'll feed Sunny?" Mrs. Walters offered as she held out her arms for the infant.

Violet, Klaus and Sunny all shared uneasy glances with each other. Sure, Sunny was tough and smart, like her older siblings, but they were reluctant to leave her alone with people they didn't know very well.

As if she could sense their feelings, Mrs. Walters said "On second thought, why didn't we take a break from the tour and have a snack?"

Sometime later, the Baudelaires and the Walters were eating grilled cheese sandwiches. As Sunny finished eating, Mrs. Walters remarked "Woah! Does Sunny have superpowers?"

"No, not as far as I'm aware of." Klaus replied.

Unfortunately. He thought to himself.

"How old is Sunny is again?" Mr. Walter wondered.

"She's a year old." Violet answered.

"Would you guys like some water?" Mrs. Walters inquired.

All 3 Baudelaires nodded their heads.

After they finished their snack, the Baudelaires continued the tour with the guest room.

It not only had a bed, but a guest bed that could be pulled out underneath and a tv and bathroom. The walls were a lovely shade of blue. As the Baudelaires took in the sight, Mr. Walters said "My wife and I are going shopping for a crib. You guys can stay home. If you need anything or fall into trouble, call us or Jennifer if things get very serious."

"Thanks." Violet and Klaus replied as Sunny smiled.

With that, Mr. and Mrs. Walters waved bye and left their home.

Not knowing what else to do, the Baudelaires decided to watch some tv. However, just as they turned it on, they heard the doorbell ring.

Violet, Klaus and Sunny all exchanged uneasy glances with each other, before Violet said "I'll get it. You guys stay here."

"But what will you do if it's Olaf?" Klaus wondered as he tried to keep the fear out of his voice.

"I'll use a code word and keep them busy while you grab a phone, hide with Sunny in the bathroom and call Jennifer to come and help us." Violet stated.

"But what code word are you going to use?" Klaus questioned.

"How about 'I feel sick'?" Violet offered.

"That sounds good, just don't let your fear let you forget the code word." Klaus stated.

Violet gave Klaus and Sunny a tight hug before she slowly and carefully made her way towards the front door. She looked through the peephole and much to her horror and dismay, it was Olaf in yet another disguise. As she wondered if she should be quiet and pretend that no one was home, she heard Olaf's voice as he attempted to disguise it with "Hello? Hello? My name is Gene. Gene Munch. I am lost and need to use a phone. Hello? Hello? Is anyone home? Hello?"

Violet did her best to quietly creep back to her siblings, hoping that Olaf wouldn't see her.

Sadly, he did notice her and called out "Hello, little girl! Can you help me? I need to call for help. Can you come outside and give me a cell phone? Please help me."

Violet wasn't fooled as she replied, "Nice try Olaf and I feel sick just being near you."

As soon as she uttered the code phrase, Klaus and Sunny quickly and quietly crept towards the nearest bathroom with a cell phone in Klaus's hands.

Violet could only hope that Jennifer would pick up her cell phone and come right away. In the meantime, she had no choice but to continue to distract Olaf.

She was then pulled out of her head as she heard Olaf's voice reply with "What are you talking about? My name is Steven, now please let me in. I need your help!"

Violet backed away from the door before she took off in a run as Olaf began to loudly bang on the door demanding that she let him in. Just as she reached the bathroom door, she heard the front door break down and Jennifer's voice called out "Hey! What are you doing?!"

Violet smiled as she entered the bathroom as Olaf attempted to talk his way out of trouble with "I'm so sorry, I just wanted to get some help. My car broke down. This is all a misunderstanding."

All 3 Baudelaires couldn't help but give each other even bigger smiles as they heard Jennifer reply "Do I look an idiot to you, Olaf? Misunderstanding my Ass! Who are you trying to fool with that crappy disguise?"

Violet, Klaus and Sunny couldn't help but bite back giggles as Olaf attempted to talk his way out of his trouble with "I don't know what you're talking about, my name is Steven."

"Stop lying to me!" The Baudelaires and the whole neighborhood heard She-Hulk scream.

Violet, Klaus and Sunny couldn't help but laugh at how badly Olaf was getting owned by Jennifer.

When will she beat him up already? Klaus thought to himself.

Then as if in response to his thoughts, he was pulled out of his head as he heard She-Hulk starting to do just that.

As much as it was painful sounding, it was also satisfying to hear Olaf getting some Karma after everything that he did to them. It must've been pretty tough, because Olaf cracked with "Alright! Alright! I'm Olaf! Please don't kill me!"

"I'm not going to kill you Olaf, that would be cowardly." She-Hulk replied in an eerily calm manner.

Sometime later, the Baudelaires were sitting outside their house with She-Hulk as they explained everything to the police. They even got to enjoy the sight of Olaf being led away in handcuffs. A few seconds later, the car of Mr. and Mrs. Walters pulled up, parked the car and quickly hurried over towards Jennifer and the Baudelaires and embraced them. They soon turned towards the police and demanded to know what happened.

Once the police explained everything, Mrs. Walter asked "You're not going to press charges against her, right? What happened was clearly in self-defense of the children."

"Don't worry, we put in a good word for Jennifer." Violet assured her guardians.

Somehow, I have a feeling that not everyone will see this the same way. Klaus thought to himself grimly.

Sometime later, Klaus's fears were confirmed when he decided to check out the internet before he and his sisters went to sleep and saw this fringe sight that called, She-Hulk a monster for beating up Olaf and scaring the heck out of the children.

Klaus felt his blood boil as he thought That's not how it happened at all! I need to correct this!

However, before he could bring this Violet's attention, he was pulled out of his head as he heard Mr. Walters said "Klaus, it's time for bed."

"Look at this." Klaus stated he showed Mr. Walters the screen.

He could tell that Mr. Walters was upset too, but he hid it well as he replied, "Thank you for bringing this to my attention, I'll let Jennifer and my wife know tomorrow morning, for now, please go to bed and try to have a good night's sleep."

"I will." Klaus promised. But first, I need to have a talk with Violet. He added in his head.

With that, he and Mr. Walters hugged each other and before they let go and said, "Good night."

When Klaus returned to his room and tried to go to sleep, he found that he couldn't sleep. He had a hard time believing that people could be so cruel online.

What do they have against She-Hulk anyway? It's almost like they're feeling oppressed by her existence. She didn't even do anything to them. Why are they picking on her? She can rip them apart. Klaus thought to himself. Then, the answer came to his mind.

Oh my god! They're trying to provoke her into attacking them just so that they can ruin her reputation! Klaus thought to himself.

I have to protect her from them, but what can I do? I'm just a kid! I need to talk to Violet tomorrow and see what she can come up with.

With that, he managed to fall asleep with great effort.

The next morning, Mrs. Walters made them breakfast and explained that they were going to be looking for schools for them to go to. As she talked, Klaus whispered to Violet with "I need to talk to you in private."

"What's wrong? Are you scared that Olaf and his troupe will break out of jail and try to come after us again?" Violet whispered back.

"No, some online jerks who have nothing better to do are trying to make it seem like Olaf was the victim, last night." Klaus hissed in clear anger.

"What the heck?!" Violet cried out in both shock and outrage.

"What's wrong?" Mrs. Walters wondered as she spun around to face the Baudelaires.

"Nothing." Both Violet and Klaus quickly uttered at once.

Mrs. Walters looked unconvinced, but she decided to let the matter drop and resume making breakfast. Violet, Klaus and Sunny silently put their conversation on hold and focused on breakfast.

A half hour after breakfast, Violet and Klaus had brushed their teeth, got dressed and were now in the back of Mrs. Walters's car with Sunny as she drove them to the local school. When they were sure that she wasn't listening to them, Klaus resumed the conversation with "Looks a group of people, mostly men really hate She-Hulk, just because she's a woman. They all seem determined to hate her no matter what."

"What? Why?" Violet uttered in disbelief as Sunny looked equally upset.

Klaus thought about it long and hard about it and to his dismay, he couldn't think of a single good reason.

He let out a sigh as he replied "I don't know. Sometimes people just want to hate others for no real reason."

That struck Violet and Sunny into silence for the rest of the car ride.

Then after what seemed to be for a long time, Mrs. Walters arrived at the local school and pulled into the parking lot. She soon parked the car and helped the Baudelaires out before she led them into the building. They were greeted by a receptionist who led them to an office. She went over the details of the school, what grades the school admitted, what activities they did and the kind of things that they did after school.

Once she had finished speaking, Mrs. Walters turned to Violet and Klaus and said, "So what do you think?"

Violet and Klaus didn't know what to think. The school and the receptionist seemed nice, and it would be good to be able to go back to school again. However, they needed to think it about some more.

Violet decided to speak for herself and her younger brother with "Thank you, but we need some time to think about it."

"Oh, of course." The receptionist replied before she continued with "You all have been through a lot. Take all the time you need."

A few minutes later, Mrs. Walters was leading the Baudelaires back to her car. As they walked, Mrs. Walters questioned "Would you guys like to look at the Brochures for the other schools when we get home?"

"Actually, I just want to go to my room and rest." Klaus answered right away.

"Feeling tired?" Mrs. Walters wondered.

Klaus simply nodded his head.

"Alright." She replied as she bucked up.

As soon as the Baudelaires did the same, Mrs. Walters pulled out of the parking lot and made her way down the road. As she made their way back towards her home, Violet, Klaus and Sunny all looked out the window. As they took in the sights and sounds of their neighborhood, Violet suddenly noticed that they were being followed.

Violet, Klaus and Sunny turned to face each other as Klaus whispered "What do we do? Who's following us? How can we alert Mrs. Walters and get her to believe us?"

Violet and Sunny were quiet. For a moment, none of them knew what to do. Then, Violet managed to speak with "We need a camera."

She turned towards Mrs. Walters said, "Can we make a quick stop at the hardware store?"

"Of course, but why?" A bewildered Mrs. Walters inquired.

"I would like to buy more tools to help me invent things." Violet smoothly answered.

"We can always stop by the store later." Mrs. Walters stated as she continued to drive down the road back to her house.

Well, I guess we'll have to get a camera later, but will we be able to catch a glimpse of the car again? Violet thought to herself.

Then, before she or her younger siblings knew it, they had arrived back at their new home. Mrs. Walters soon parked the car in the driveway and helped the Baudelaires out of the car before she led them back into the house. Klaus sat himself down on the couch with Sunny by his side as he picked up a book on gathering proof of crimes to read. As Sunny began to look for things to bite, Violet decided to leave Sunny in Klaus's care before she decided to go look for the toolbox.

If we can't buy a new camera, then I just have to make one from scratch. Violet thought to herself.

As she started to walk towards the cupboard, she was pulled out of her head as she heard Mrs. Walters call out "Violet, where are you going?"

"I'm just looking for the toolbox." Violet replied.

"I don't think that you should try to make things until my husband comes home." Mrs. Walters stated.

"But my parents let me start inventing things by myself when I turned 12." Violet protested.

"Well, you live with us now and I don't want you messing with the tools until my husband gets home." Mrs. Walters stated in a firm matter of fact manner.

Violet was annoyed, but she knew that she had to obey the rules of her new home. Not knowing what else to do, she decided to go on the computer and see what was going on in the world of internet gossip.

To her dismay, she came across some more news about her cousin. It seemed that some influencer was trying to take away She-Hulk''s name over the fact that She-Hulk stopped her from hurting a bunch of innocent jurors.

What nerve! Violet thought to herself in outrage. She wished that there was something that she could do to help her cousin. I wish that my siblings and I still lived with her. Maybe I could find a way to help her. After a brief break in her thoughts, Violet came up with I should give her a call and ask her how she's doing. I just need to ask Mrs. Walters for her phone number.

With that, she pulled herself out of her head and made her way back to the living room. Mrs. Walters was still sitting on the couch watching TV and Klaus was still reading his book. Sunny was still looking for things to bite. She was the first to notice Violet back in the living room and said, "Go be?" Which meant, " Violet, what are you doing back here?"

Mrs. Walters looked up from the tv and asked "Violet, is everything alright?"

"I'm fine, can I have Jennifer's phone number please?" Violet wondered.

"Why? Are you sure that everything is alright?" Mrs. Walters asked.

Unable to hide her feelings of worry anymore, Violet told her guardian everything that she had read online. Once she had finished speaking, Mrs. Walters said "Don't worry, I'll call her myself and make sure that she's alright. I'll even put you on the line with her."

With that, she pulled out her cell phone and called Jennifer, a.k.a. She-Hulk.

After a few moments of ringing, Jennifer Walters picked up with "Hello?"

"Jennifer, I just heard. I just wanted to see if you're alright." Mrs. Walters asked. Then, she added, "Also, Violet wants to talk to you."

With that, Mrs. Walters handed the cell phone over to Violet who quickly asked, "Is there anything I do?"

"You're so sweet, Violet." Jennifer replied before she continued with "But I'm a big girl, I can take care of myself. Besides, I'm working on a legal strategy to take her down as we speak."

"But what about those creeps online that want to take you down?" Violet pointed out.

"They're just online jerks ranting about me, they can't hurt me." Jennifer replied.

Somehow, Violet had a feeling that these online guys were more dangerous than the average criminals. She needed to talk to Klaus about them. However, before she could tie her hair back with a ribbon, she was pulled out of her head as she heard Jennifer said "Violet, is there anything else that you want to talk about? How are you and your sibling's adjusting to living with my parents?"

Violet thought over her answer before she replied with "They seem nice, but a bit overprotective. It's actually kind of nice."

Jennifer laughed as she stated, "That's my Mom and Dad for you."

Then, she paused before she added "What were your parents like if you don't mind me asking?"

Now it was Violet's turn to pause as she felt tears forming in her eyes. Still, she felt like now was the time to talk about her parents again.

She took a deep breath before she recalled her parents with "Well, everyone thinks that their parents are the best ones in the world, but mine truly were. They always took the time to encourage our interests. They always praised us for our talents and made sure we never wanted for anything."

Jennifer laughed as she stated, "They sound a lot like my own parents."

She paused for a moment before she added "I wish I had the chance to meet them."

"So do I." Violet replied as she felt tears starting to form in her eyes.

Violet suddenly felt the eyes of not only her siblings, but Mrs. Walters on her.

Jennifer must've noticed her sad mood, because she said, "Why don't you take a moment to calm down and I'll call you later, alright?"

"Alright." Violet tearfully replied as their conversation came to an end.

As Violet handed the phone back to Mrs. Walters, she gently wrapped the 14-year-old in a warm embrace and began to console her. A few seconds later, Klaus and Sunny got up from what they were doing and joined in the hug. After what seemed like a long time, the hug came to an end and Mrs. Walters asked, "Would guys like to go out for some ice cream?"

Violet, Klaus and Sunny all nodded their heads in agreement.

Sometime later, Mrs. Walters and the Baudelaires leaving a local Baskin and Robbins with their ice cream bowls.

Violet was enjoying a vanilla flavored ice cream bowl with whipped cream and a red cherry on top.

Klaus had some black raspberry ice cream with nothing on top.

Sunny was having a small soft serve vanilla in an equally tiny cone.

As for what Mrs. Walters was having, she enjoyed a chocolate and vanilla soft serve swirl. She was nice enough to get some cookie dough flavored ice cream for her husband as the group made their way towards Mrs. Walter's car.

As they all sat down in their seats, Mrs. Walters remarked "I haven't had kid's eating ice cream in the car since Jennifer was a little girl."

"Did she spill ice cream in the car?" Klaus wondered as he silently vowed not to spill a single drop of his ice cream in the car.

"Yes, she did, and it was a pain to clean the back seat of the car." Mrs. Walters recalled with a mixture of annoyance and nostalgia.

"I'll do my best not to make a mess in the car." Violet vowed as she sat down in the back seat.

As Mrs. Walters helped Sunny into her car seat, Klaus kept a close eye on his ice cream, and he sat himself next to Violet. As two of them finished their ice creams, Mrs. Walters got into the car and began the drive back home.

As they drove down the road, Mrs. Walters asked "So what do you think of this place?"

"I like this place. Let's come here more often." Violet stated with clear glee in her voice.

"You said it." Klaus added in agreement as Sunny finished her ice cream.

"How about we come here again next weekend?" Mrs. Walters promised just as she reached her driveway.

As she parked the car and got out, she was greeted by her husband who was standing by the front door.

"Honey!" Mrs. Walters greeted as she got out of the car and rushed towards her husband.

As the two of them began to make out with each other, Violet, Klaus and Sunny all facepalmed at the display and yet at the same time, they couldn't help but think of when their parents would sometimes do that in front of them. They were embarrassed by it when they were alive, but now they would be willing to put up with their parents making out for hours if they could just have them back.

As tears started to form in Violet's eyes, her thoughts were interrupted as Sunny asked "Ga-be?"

Which meant "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine. I just got something in my eye." Violet fibbed as she wiped the tears from her eyes.

At that moment, the Walters stopped making out with each other and resumed leading the Baudelaires back into their home. Soon after, they all went into the kitchen and Mr. Walters began to make dinner for them.

As he began to cook, Mr. Walters asked, "What would guys like for dinner?"

"Can we have some spaghetti with sauce?" Klaus asked.

Violet and Sunny nodded their heads in agreement as they smiled at the thought.

"Sure, spaghetti it is." Mr. Walters replied as he resumed making dinner.

As he began to make the spaghetti, he asked "How was your day? What did you guys think of the local school?"

"I'm not sure what to think, we need to look at the other options." Violet stated.

"I understand, the local school isn't for everyone." Mr. Walters said as he began to make the spaghetti.

"Would you like to help make dinner?" He asked Violet.

"Sure." Both Violet and Klaus agreed as they got up from their seats and made their way over towards the stove.

"Well, I only need aid from one person, but the more the merrier as they always say." Mr. Walters stated as he shrugged his shoulders.

With that, the group worked together to make dinner. By the time they had finished, the pasta looked wonderful.

As they sat down and ate their dinner, Mr. Walters asked "What are you guys looking for in a school?"

"I would like to have an inventor's club." Violet answered as she took a bite out of her bowl of spaghetti.

"I would like it to have a large library with lots of books on many different subjects for the students to read." Klaus jumped in as he took a slip of his glass of water.

"He-wa?" Sunny asked, which meant "What about me?"

As both Mr. and Mrs. Walters stared at Sunny in shock, Violet turned to her little sister and said "You're much too young to go to school Sunny, you get to hang out with the Walters."

"I don't know how you guys are able to understand her." Mrs. Walters uttered in bewilderment.

"I don't know either, but we just do." Violet replied as both she and Klaus shrugged their shoulders.

"I wish Jennifer could communicate with us that well at Sunny's age." Mrs. Walters mused.

"What was Jennifer like at Sunny's age?" Klaus questioned with sudden interest.

Mr. Walters let out a sigh as he replied "She sadly wasn't as gifted as Sunny and yourselves. However, her genius later appeared when she was older."

"How old was she when her genius began to shine?" Violet wondered.

"Around your age exactly." Mrs. Walters replied with a proud smile on her face.

"How did she decide to become a lawyer?" Klaus questioned.

However, before either Mr. or Mrs. Walters could answer that question, they suddenly heard their phone buzzing. The couple and the Baudelaires checked their phones and they were greeted with the sight of She-Hulk being arrested!

The Walters and the Baudelaires' minds were completely befuddled by this.

How did this happen? The whole group thought at once before they continued to read the rest of the story. As they read, Klaus's worst fears were confirmed. The online hate group against She-Hulk had managed to gather a bunch of online videos about her to make her look bad and hacked into the tv screen to broadcast them on the day Jennifer was to receive an award.

Unsurprisingly, she lost it in her She-Hulk form, and it freaked out the rest of the guests so much that the police were called. Much to the group's dismay, Jennifer was arrested and taken to the new prison for superpowers individuals.

At once, both Mr. and Mrs. Walters stopped looking at the news and looked up the number of both the prison and the law firm that Jennifer worked for.

Violet, Klaus and Sunny all wished that there was something that they could do, but in their hearts they knew that there was nothing that they could do as they were only children and didn't have much experience in law.

Then, Klaus suddenly remembered that he has read books of the law before, through that mostly had to do with inheritance law.

Well, I made myself read books of the law before and I'm willing to do it again. Klaus thought to himself and with that, he pulled himself out of his head and made his way towards the collection of books to see if he could find any law books on the shelves. Unfortunately, he couldn't find any books on the law.

Looks like I need to go to the library and find books of the law there. Klaus thought to himself in frustration before he pulled himself out of his head just in time to hear Mr. Walters said "Kids, stay here. We need to head to the special jail."

With that, the two of them grabbed their keys, phones and wallets as they rushed out of the front door.

As soon as they were gone, Violet, Klaus and Sunny all exchanged glances with each other.

For a moment no one said anything, then Violet managed to break the silence with "Why don't we watch the news and try to find out more information?"

Soon after, the Baudelaires sat down on the couch and Violet turned on the tv. At once, they were greeted with footage of Jennifer in handcuffs being forced into the SWAT truck.

The sight caused their blood to boil with anger.

How dare they treat Jennifer like that?! Just because she has powers like the Hulk, doesn't mean that she was dangerous!

All 3 Baudelaires found themselves wishing that there was something that they could do for her. Instead, all they could do was sit on the couch, glued to the tv in hopes that some good news would come. Then, much to their delight, the tv showed Mr. and Mrs. Walters arrived at the jail for supervillains. At once, the reporters swarmed them and tried to ask them questions about their daughter. Jennifer's parents did their best to ignore them and push the cameras away from them.

"Get away from them!" Klaus hissed under his breath.

"We're going to the library tomorrow to see if they have any law books that can help us." Violet vowed as Klaus and Sunny nodded their heads in agreement.

They watched the rest of the news footage until they managed to fall asleep on the couch.

They were woken up the next morning to the sound of Mr. and Mrs. Walters entering the house without their daughter.

As Violet noticed the sad looks on the couple's faces, she asked "What's wrong?"

Mrs. Walters let out an uneasy sigh as she replied, "They refuse to release Jennifer into our custody as long as you guys live us."

"What, why?" Klaus demanded as feelings of shock and outage took over his body.

"Because they feel that she might be a danger to you guys." Mr. Walters answered with clear anger on his face.

"So, you're saying that you're going to have to get rid of us if you want to bring Jennifer home?" Violet uttered in disbelief.

Mr. and Mrs. Walters sadly nodded their heads in agreement before Mrs. Walters said "Now, this will only be temporary…"

"No! You can't do this to us!" Violet cried out in anger before she turned on her heel and ran back into her room. She shut the door behind her, threw herself onto the bed and began to cry her eyes out. She continued to cry until she fell asleep.

When she awoke, she found Mrs. Walters sitting by her bedside with a concerned look on her face.

"How are you feeling and did you get a good night's sleep?" She asked.

"I had a good night's sleep and I'm neither happy nor sad. I'm just calm." Violet answered.

"That's a start. Calm is always better than nothing." Mrs. Walters replied before she and Violet let out uneasy sighs.

"You know we wouldn't even consider kicking you guys out if there was another option." Mrs. Walters replied.

"I know." Violet answered.

"What are you going to do?" She added.

Mrs. Walters let out another uneasy sigh as she replied, "You guys are going to stay with a friend of ours, until this problem is also sorted out."

"How long will we have to stay with your friend and what is your friend like anyway?" Violet questioned.

"I don't know how long you guys will stay with her, but what I can tell you is that she is so lovely and selfless. She will look after you guys like you were own children." Mrs. Walters assured the 14 year old.

"Thanks, but what is her name?" Violet inquired.

Mrs. Walters smiled at Violet as she replied "Her name is Daisy."

Sometime later, after the Baudelaires had managed to pack up what little they had in the trunk of Mr. Walter's car. Soon after, they found themselves sitting in the back of the car as Mr. Walters drove them away from his home and down the streets of LA. The drive seemed to take a long time. All 3 Baudelaires were barely listening to the music that was playing on the radio. They were heartbroken and frustrated that they were leaving yet another guardian. On one hand, they could understand why the Walters did what they did, Jennifer is their daughter, and she needed their help. Plus, she had superpowers and was awesome in their eyes, mainly Klaus's. However, on the other hand, they were still hurt over being kicked out. All they could do was hope that Daisy was as nice as Mrs. Walters said she was.

Then, they were pulled out of their heads as they heard the car come to a stop as Mr. Walters said, "We're here."

The Baudelaires looked out the window and saw a nice small apartment building. It was a reddish-brown color with white lines all around the windows. Mr. Walters parked the car in front of the building, helped the Baudelaires out of the car and led them to the front door. Mr. Walters rang the doorbell and a voice replied with "Yes, who is it?"

Mr. Walters replied with "It's me. I'm here with the kids to see Daisy."

A few seconds later, the front desk assistant hit a button and called "Daisy, Mr. Walters and the children are here."

Then, after what seemed to be a long time, Daisy stepped out of a nearby elevator.

She was a pretty woman with short blonde hair, blue eyes and pale skin. She gave the group a friendly smile and led Mr. Walters and the Baudelaires into the elevator. When the elevator door closed and began the descent back to her apartment, she turned to the Baudelaires and said, "I'm so sorry that you guys have to go through this."

Then, she changed the subject with "If you don't mind me asking, how many homes have you guys been in?"

"Just two." Violet answered for her siblings.

"What do you guys like to do in your free time?" Daisy wondered.

"I like to invent." Violet answered.

"I like to read." Klaus climbed in.

"Ha be." Sunny added. Which meant "I like to bite things."

"And Sunny likes to bite things." Violet translated for her younger sister.

"I take it that her teeth are coming in." Daisy replied before she realized something.

"Wait a minute, how can you guys even understand what she is even saying?" Daisy questioned in amazement.

"We really have no idea." Klaus jumped in with a bewildered look on his face.

Then, the sound of the elevator came to a stop and the doors opened. Soon after, Daisy led Mr. Walters and the Baudelaires out of the elevator and towards her apartment. When she opened the door, all 3 Baudelaires were stunned by how nice her apartment was. It was big enough to hold a kitchen, a living room, a bathroom and four bedrooms.

They were all stunned for a moment before Violet managed to ask, "What do you do?"

"I'm the CTO of an entertainment company." Daisy replied with a somewhat proud smile on her face.

Violet, Klaus and Sunny couldn't help but look at their temporary guardian in awe. She was wealthy just like their parents. Then, the moment came to an end as Mr. Walter said "I wish I could stay longer, but I need to head back home and help Jennifer settle in."

With that, he waved bye to the Baudelaires and left the apartment. Once he was gone, Daisy decided to order some pizza and treats for the Baudelaires and create a small little party for them.

Sometime later, Violet, Klaus, Sunny and Daisy were all sitting in front of the tv, watching a movie as they ate pizza, garlic knots and chocolate lava cakes.

"So, what do you think of the movie?" Daisy asked the Baudelaires.

"I think it's okay." Violet answered with a shrug of her shoulders.

"I prefer books more than anything." Klaus replied.

"Ge Bewa." Sunny replied. Which meant "I like it. I think it could be one of my new favorite movies."

"What did she just say?" Daisy uttered in confusion.

"She said that it could be one of her new favorite movies." Violet translated.

Then all of a sudden, reality all around the Baudelaires began to change. Daisy vanished right before their eyes and the room around them started to disappear. The furniture began to change shape, bending in unusual forms and colors started to swirl all around them.

Violet, Klaus and Sunny all let out cries of terror as Violet turned to Klaus and asked "What's going on?"

"I don't know, nothing like this has ever happened before in the books I read." Klaus uttered with a mixture of disbelief and fear as they huddled closer together.

Then, all of a sudden, reality returned back to normal and they were now back in the Walters household.

Violet, Klaus and Sunny were stunned into silence; they couldn't believe what had happened.

After what seemed to be a very long time, Klaus managed to regain his voice with "Mr. Walters, what happened? How the heck did we end up back here?"

Then, the answer he got sent his mind reeling, "What are you talking about? You've always been here. You never left."

Violet, Klaus and Sunny couldn't believe what they were hearing. Did they all experience a massive hallucination? They were once again stunned into silence. Violet managed to regain her voice after a great deal of effort with "What's going on? Have we all lost our minds?"

"I seriously hope not." Klaus replied as Sunny nodded her head in agreement.

For a moment, neither of them knew what to do. Then, Violet suddenly felt a strong urge to talk to Jennifer. For reasons that she couldn't explain, she had a feeling that somehow that not only the lawyer/superhero would believe her and her siblings but would also know what was going on.

Soon after, Violet found Jennifer happily chatting with a man who seemed to be blind since he was wearing dark glasses and had a white cane that made noise as he walked. Then, they stopped talking and turned their attention towards Violet as Jennifer said "Violet, how are you? Are you looking forward to the BBQ?"

"Actually, can I talk to you in private?" Violet politely asked.

Jennifer looked bewildered, but decided to follow the 14 year old girl to a private corner. Once she was sure that no one could hear them, Violet took a deep breath as she said "I don't know how to tell you this, but a few seconds ago we were in an apartment that belonged to a friend of your family and you weren't allowed to be in your She Hulk form anymore. Now we're back here and everything is fine now. I don't know what to think. What's happening? Do you recall what happened? Are my siblings and I crazy?

Jennifer was quiet for what seemed to be long time, before a look of surprise and confusion appeared on her face as she replied with "I thought that no one but me could remember that point in time. Are you sure that you and your siblings don't have superpowers?"

Violet was stunned by this admission, and she didn't know what to make of it as a million thoughts started to run through her head. She was relieved that she and her siblings hadn't gone crazy, but on the other hand, she still wanted to know what had happened.

"Can we…?" Violet attempted to say, before she shook her head and uttered "We can talk about it later."

With that, Violet, Klaus and Sunny made their way outside and joined the rest of the group. Not only did they see the Walters again, but they even got to meet Jennifer's new boyfriend, a fellow lawyer named Matt and the Hulk and his new family. Violet allowed herself to relax and take in the fun scene that was unfolding before her eyes. She could try and solve the mystery as why they could remember reality wrapping why everyone else but Jennifer couldn't, later. Tomorrow is another day.
