Same Day: The Kyln Prison
Inside: Cafeteria
After everyone gets dressed in their prison gear, two guards shove single-rolled blankets to their stomachs and move on towards the main area where the inmates eat and hang out.
Twilight and Sunset stay close as they look around the room. Sunset looks up and notices a guard tower to watch over the prisoners.
One female inmate is sitting down at a table, looking at a hologram of 3 people waving at her. She gets teary and wipes the tears away as she watches the hologram. Other prisoners are eating or socializing with other prisoners.
Suddenly, Twilight gets hit in the face by a piece of food. Sunset looks at Twilight, and they both look to the side to see prisoners on the second floor, shouting, threatening, and throwing stuff at Pinkamena.
Prisoner 1 points at Pinkamena, "You first! You first!"
Prisoner 2 shouts, "Murderer!"
Prisoner 1 shouts threateningly, "Coming for you first, Pinkamena!" Twilight and Sunset look at Pinkamena.
Prisoner 3 shouts at Pinkamena, "You're dead!"
Prisoner 4 throws something at Pinkamena, "You're a scum! You're a scum!" Pinkamena flinches a bit as something hits her left arm, and she looks around the prison at the people shouting and threatening her. She sighs. Sunset looks at Pinkamena and sees a look of fear flash across her face, but it disappears.
Rainbow tells Twilight and Sunset, "It's like I said, she's got a rep." Twilight puts her hand on Sunset's lower back as they all continue to walk across the area, "A lot of prisoners here have lost their families to Sombra and his goons. She'll last a day, tops."
Prisoner 5 shouts at Pinkamena behind her, "Murderer!"
Sunset asks Rainbow as she looks at her on her left, "The guards will protect her, right?"
Rainbow answers Sunset, "They're here to stop us from getting out. They don't care what we do to each other inside."
Pinkamena tells them, "Whatever nightmares the future holds,-" Sunset and Twilight look over their left shoulders to Pinkamena, who looks at Sunset with a hard look, "-are dreams compared to what's behind me." They stop walking. Twilight and Sunset turn back forward to continue, but quickly and abruptly stop as a tall, blue, monstrous inmate looks down at the couple.
The monstrous inmate looks mostly at Sunset, "Check out the new meat." He looks at Twilight and runs the back of his fingers across Twilight's face, "I'm gonna slather you up in Gunavian jelly,-" Twilight's face twists in disgust as she tries to lean away, Fluttershy coming up behind her, the blue monstrous inmate chuckles, "-and go to town-" Suddenly, Fluttershy who's arms have grown fully back, uses her right two fingers and inserts them into the blue monstrous inmate's nostrils, making him scream and the whole room goes quiet.
Rainbow speaks loudly towards the other inmates as Fluttershy lifts the blue monstrous inmate, who is holding onto her arm desperately, "Let's make something clear." She points to Sunset and Twilight, who look at Fluttershy shocked, "These two here is our booty!" Rainbow points to herself by patting her chest with her right fist a couple of times, "You wanna get to them? You go through us! Or, more accurately, we got through you." Fluttershy then roughly takes out her fingers as she drops the blue monstrous inmate to the ground who's curled into a ball, holding his nose and sobbing loudly. Fluttershy steps over her causally and walks off with Rainbow following her.
Twilight looks around the room and points to Fluttershy and Rainbow's direction, saying loudly, "We're with them." She grabs Sunset's right hand and they step over the sobbing blue monstrous inmate.
The blue monstrous inmate sobs out, "I hate you." The couple walks after Fluttershy and Rainbow, and Twilight keeps Sunset close to her.
On the second floor, the other inmates continue to hurl abuse at Pinkamena as she and Sunset walk towards their cell; Sunset is in front of Pinkamena, a few feet apart, both ignoring the inmates.
Prisoner 6 threatens Pinkamena, "No cell's gonna protect you for long."
Inside: Pinkamena's and Sunset's Cell
Pinkamena and Sunset enter their cell, and surprisingly, no one follows them in. Sunset goes to the bench on the right, setting down her rolled blanket as she sits on the bench.
Pinkamena stops beside the left bench and tosses her rolled blanket on it before she sits down. The door closes, but the other inmates don't leave. Pinkamena stares forward, away from Sunset, trying to ignore the shouting inmates.
One inmate bangs on the cell door window, making Pinkamena gasp in fright. He threatens, "You're dead! Dead!"
Sunset glares at the inmates, rolling her eyes at them, but they just look at Pinkamena, who straightens herself and continues to stare forward, showing no emotions, ignoring the shouting inmates.
Eventually, the inmates leave, but Pinkamena is still being watched from below. Sunset lays down on the bench, her head resting on the rolled blanket, her left forearm covering her eyes as she rests her right hand on her stomach.
Cafeteria
A light orange-skinned woman with blonde hair named Applejack sits alone at a table, glaring up at Pinkamena.
Night Time: Cell
Twilight lays awake on the floor of her shared cell with other inmates. An inmate's arm is wrapped around her stomach, and the other inmates are pressed up and wrapped around one another while they all snore. Fluttershy sits in a corner, sleeping.
Hallway
A prison guard is on the lookout as 5 inmates have a hold of Pinkamena. One has a knife pressed against her throat.
The prison guard tells the 5 inmates, "Take her down to the showers. It'll be easier to clean up the blood down there." Pinkamena looks at the guard in disbelief and grunts as she struggles against the inmates hold. They drag her away.
Down the hall, around the corner, Sunset quietly steps out, looking around, staying hidden by the wall, having heard what the guard said, and follows the inmates dragging Pinkamena towards the showers.
Inside: Cell
Twilight hears Pinkamena's grunts and looks up to see inmate 1 walking backwards with a knife pointed at Pinkamena as inmates 2 and 3 hold Pinkamena, making her walk with inmates 4 and 5 following behind.
Suddenly, Twilight sees Sunset following them. Her eyes widen as she passes her cell. Twilight quickly and quietly takes the sleeping inmate's arm off her and stands up. She steps over the sleeping inmates on the floor.
Rainbow wakes up as she sits up and looks at Twilight, sleep still in her voice, "Twilight, where you going?" Twilight ignores her and goes to follow Sunset, "Twilight." Rainbow steps over the sleeping inmates and goes up to the bars, whisper-shouting, "Twilight!"
Showers
Inmates 1, 2, and 4 slam Pinkamena against the wall. The three have drawn their knives at Pinkamena's neck. Inmate 3, named Sour Sweet, tells Pinkamena threateningly, "Pinkamena, consider this a death sentence for your crimes against the galaxy." She goes to stab Pinkamena in the neck but is suddenly interrupted by the inmate named Applejack.
Applejack angrily questions loudly, "You dare?" The inmates holding Pinkamena turn around to see Applejack enter the room. Sour Sweet steps away from Pinkamena while inmates 1 and 4 don't move and continue to hold their knives at Pinkamena. Applejack walks inside and questions the inmates, "You know who I am, yes?" Sunset quietly steps to the doorframe, staying hidden, watching and listening in.
Sour Sweet answers a bit fearfully, "You're Applejack, The Destroyer." Twilight and Rainbow have followed Sunset and come up behind her, also listening.
Twilight whispers to Sunset, "Sunset."
Sunset looks at Twilight with wide eyes and whispers, "What are you doing?"
Twilight gives Sunset a look, and she whispers back, "What are you doing?"
Rainbow interrupts the couple before they whisper an argument, "Twilight! Sunset!"
Sunset tells the two with her finger on her lips, "Shh!" She looks back inside the showers and continues to watch and listen in.
Applejack questions as she walks towards the inmates, "And you know why they call me this."
Sour Sweet answers with a shaky voice, "You slayed dozens of Sombra's minions."
Applejack tells the inmates that are planning to kill Pinkamena but looks at her with a glare as she stops walking and stands in front of her, "Sombra murdered my grandma, Granny Smith, my brother, Big Macintosh, and my little sister, Apple Bloom." Pinkamena looks down sadly but keeps a straight face, "He slaughtered them where they stood." She turns to Sour Sweet and shouts angrily, "And he laughed!" Sour Sweet flinches from the shout and steps back fearfully.
Rainbow whispers to Twilight and Sunset as they watch intently, "Twilight? Sunset?" The two ignore Rainbow.
Applejack looks at Sour Sweet and tells the inmates, "Her life is not yours to take. He killed my family." She looks at Pinkamena, "I shall kill one of his in return." Pinkamena looks at Applejack, emotionless, with a hint of understanding.
Sour Sweet says as she bows a bit in fear, "Of course, Applejack. Here, I..." She hands her knife to Applejack, who gladly takes it.
Suddenly, Pinkamena grabs inmates 1 and 4's wrists that are holding the knives towards her. She twists their arms, grabs inmate 4's knife, and punches him with the handle in the face, making him fall. Pinkamena turns to inmate 1 and twists her arm, grabbing her knife before kicking her down. Pinkamena turns to Applejack and Sour Sweet and holds the knives out against their necks. Sour Sweet quietly chuckles nervously a bit.
Sunset slowly starts walking towards them, with Twilight following. Rainbow follows them, tugging on Twilight's shirt and whispering, "Sunset! Twilight!" Twilight slaps Rainbow's hand away from her, "What are you doing?" The couple continues to ignore her.
Pinkamena, breathing hard, looks and sternly states to Applejack, "I'm no family to Sombra or King Andrias." She takes a second before she steps back and drops the knives, making a clattering sound against the floor. She tells Applejack, "I'm your only hope at stopping him." Applejack suddenly shouts a bit of anger as she steps forward and grabs Pinkamena by her throat, slamming her back against the wall and making her shout in pain, "Ah!"
Applejack points the knife to Pinkamena's throat, "Girl, your words mean nothing to me!"
Sunset steps forward quickly and interrupts Applejack, "Hey! Hey, hey, hey! Hey!" The inmates, Applejack, Sour Sweet, and Pinkamena, turn their attention to Sunset. Twilight cautiously steps behind her.
Rainbow drops her head in her hand. She says knowingly and disappointed, "Oh crap."
Sunset cautiously holds her hands out in front of her as if to tell Applejack to stop, "You know, if killing Sombra is truly your sole purpose, I don't think this is the best way to go about it." Twilight looks at Sunset in confusion.
Applejack narrows her eyes confusedly at Sunset and Twilight, "Are you not both the woman this wrench attempted to kill?" Pinkamena's hands hold Applejack's wrist as her hands are around her throat.
Twilight agrees as she looks at Sunset, confused, but Sunset turns her head to give her a look with a light tap on her right arm. Twilight quickly looks back at Applejack and shrugs, "Well, I mean, she's hardly the first woman to try and do that to me." She chuckles a little and steps up beside Sunset on her left. Twilight then pulls up her shirt to show Applejack a scar on the left side of her ribs, "Look, this is from a smoking-hot Rajak girl. Stabbed me with a fork. Didn't like me skipping out on her at sunrise." She looks at Sunset, whose expression is hard and annoyed, as she brings up the past, "That was before you and I made it official." Sunset sighs, irritated, not looking at her.
