"So tell me what do you see?" Hiruzen Sarutobi asked his ninja. He had a feeling that the corpse in front of him was transformed by Element 115. He never understood why his successor chose to look into the element. 'Minato... why did you develop an interest in this monstrosity.' His thought would go unanswered as he looked at Fugaku and Hiashi. Both of them were scanning the body with their jujutsu. Hiashi looked up towards the third hokage.
"As you feared the chakra system has been corrupted. The element has corrupted their chakra pathways. It looks to be decayed and damaged yet something else is in their pathways." Hiashi stated before deactivating his Byakugan. He looked over to his old friend Fugaku.
"On top of that with my Sharingan I can see that there is 115 radiation." He grabbed Hiashi's arm and pulled him towards him. "I can also see that the radiation is trying to spread." He finished off while dusting off his frend. "It is as we feared. The element has resurfaced."
The third hokage grit his teeth at the news. 'What is happening. I thought we buried all of this with Minato's death.' He proceeded to have everyone exit the room and to burn the body. Figaku and Hiashi stood by him waiting for their next order. The hokage stood still before releasing a loud sigh. "We need to open up Orochimaru's labs." He said in a serious tone.
The two dōjutsu user looked at each other before Hiashi addressed his concerns. "Are you sure that's wise my lord? We closed the off for a reason! The decontamination efforts alone would-"
"I know, Hiash. But we don't have a choice. The element has resurfaced. And unfortunately we weren't the first to claim it! This transformation was caused by exposure in the wave, meaning that there are more Element 115 deposits out there. Who knows who could have access to it. The middle of nowhere, a small village, or worse at our enemies doorstep!" Hiruzen said. He sighed before addressing them once more. "You two will lead the excavation of Orochimaru's labs. See if you can find out more about 115, or if there are any blueprints for weapons in his lab!"
Both the Uchia and the Hyuuga bowed their heads before leaving the third hokage to his thoughts. 'This element can be the end of all life as we know it.' Hiruzen thought to himself. If this is a corpse from the wave then..."
Hiruzen turned to his subordinates
"It pains me to say it, but I believe we need Weasel, Crow, and Rabbit."
Land of Waves:
"What just happened? Kakashi asked his team. All of them sat there in confusion. No one knew what to make of their situation.
"We were on the bridge when..." Sakura said outloud. 'What happened?' She thought to herself. She wasn't the only one who had similar thoughts. All of them couldn't remember what they were doing before they woke up. However there were voices unheard by everyone except Naruto.
"They never remember! Hehehehe how long do you think this time?"
"I dunno like 30 minutes? This is what their 6th try? Wonder if they'll ever get out!"
"I wonder if the ice user will last longer this time?"
"Please the most pathetic attempt was the teacher!"
"SHUT UP!" Naruto shouted out loud clutching his head. Everyone to stop their conversating and look at him in confusion. He took deep breaths to compose himself. Only then did he realize that he was being stared at. He looked at them and panicked slightly before he decided to let them know his suspicion. "We've been here before." He blurted out. "We've done this before! We're trapped!" He said in a rush. Kakashi and Satsuki looked at each other in confusion. However Sakura looked at the wall behind them horrified.
"Uh guys that's my handwriting..." Sakurs said loud enough for everyone to hear. They turned to see her staring at the wall. Following her line of sight they noticed a wall covered in red writing. It didn't take a scientists to figure out what was used to write the note. The fact that it was written by Sakura was evident due to the calligraphy. "But, I don't remember writing it." Her voice quivered. The writing read:
1. Turn on the power
2. Find replacement parts
3. Repair sail
4. Activate lighthouse house
5. Escape
Along side the steps was a drawing of a map that seemed to detail the land of waves. It was a rough and crude drawing. Still it managed to get the job done in how far everything was. A path from Tazuna's house that lead to a small town opening, before splitting of into to 3 areas. One seemed to be the docks, the other seemed to be part of the town. However the 3rd area was a mystery to them.
"What is all of this?" Sakura asked quietly. Kakashi turned to Naruto quickly. He clasped his hand in his hand and forced him to look into his eye. "What do you mean, we've done this before!?"
"Yes tell him how we can remember what you've experienced!"
"Can you hear me?"
"The pinkette is always funniest when she's desprate!"
"No tell them about how their sensei-"
"We've been through this before... I'm not sure how many times, but we've done this before." The blonde ignored the taunting voices. Everyone looked at him confused. "I can't explain it but.. I know that's the truth!"
Satsuki walked up to him catching his attention. His eyes went wide at the sight of her.
Vision or memory?
Satsuki ran for her life through the woods away from a destroyed mansion. She stumbled her way through the foliage before she came across a clearing. A roar was heard and she glanced over her shoulder. Checking her weapon she noticed she had 2 magazines left in her M4. She cocked the weapon back and aimed. A horde came rushing in from where she came and she started unloading. One by one the zombies fell, only for 4 more to replace the ones that fell. The dreaded click of the weapon signaled to her that she was out. She ejected the magazine before a zombie attempted to bite her. She shoved of the zombie and used the butt of the gun to bring it down.
"Come on then, you freaks! I'm not afraid of you!" She shouted. She refused to go down without a fight. To go down as a weakling. She never realized she had been crying.
She swung her weapon a few more times before she managed to fully reload. She shot twice more before it jammed and a bullet was caught during rechambering. She dropped the gun and pulled out her sensei's tanto. She proceeded to slice limbs of flipping and jumping between them. After a few seconds of this she jumped as high as she could and flipped through some handsigns before shooting a massive fireball into the clearing, incinerating everything nearby. She landed on the ground exhausted before another roar was heard. Satsuki barely managed to look up in time to see three flaming corpses converge on her location. She tried to stand however one of her targets wasn't dead just yet, and slashed her ankles with its broken protruding bone that it used as a blade. She screamed in pain as she fell. Her screams became louder as she was torn apart. She fought as hard as she could, the only thing that she manage to accomplish was dropping some kind of device.
A demonic laugh was heard as Satsuki Uchiha's screams finally became silent.
Naruto lightheaded feeling he just had noticed he was now on the floor when he came to. Satsuki was holding him in her lap, looking a bit pale and concerned. Sakura was holding his hand lightly slapping his face to get his attention. "...ruto! Naruto! NARUTO!"
Satsuki was beginning to panic. Her blonde looked at her and then his eyes rolled into the back of his head. He sat up quickly with a deep breath. "We need to go NOW!" He yelled. Before they could question him, a growl was heard before their window shattered and a decayed arm started swiping wildly. Naruto grabbed the arm and to the girls shocked he tore it off and used it as a weapon. The door swung open and an undead Tsunami and Inari broke through the door and attempted to feast. Naruto threw a chakra chain at Tsunami head killing her instantly before he threw her into Inari. While pinned Kakashi finished off the boy with a kunai to the head.
Sakura tried not to throw up while Satsuki rubbed her back. "We need to leave now!" Satsuki said towards the other two. Suddenly the window shattered as Haku fell into the room. He looked fine besides a few scratches here and there from the glass. Everyone readied themselves for a fight, even Sakura managed to compose herself.
"DOWN NOW!" Haku yelled not getting up from his position on the floor. No one questioned the order and threw themselves on the floor. The Kubikiribōchō flew in destroying the frame of the window before embedding itself into the wall of the room. Everyone looked up to see the sword turn into water and dissappear. Kakashi crawled towards the window and peeked out to see a zombified Zabuza staggering his way towards the house dragging his sword behind him. "Alright no time to the docks NOW!" They each got up and grabbed what they could for defense. They didn't have much time as they heard banging from the front and back doors of Tazuna's home. They were already at the doors.
"This way!" Kakashi yelled as he ran out the door into the hall of the 2nd story. He looked around and noticed one of the walls now had a circle with an x in the middle of it. Kakashi immediately threw an explosive kunai towards the wall, destroying it to create a new exist. They didn't let the dust of the debris clear as they each jumped through the wall into the horrific apocalyptic hell that was the land of waves. The rooftop across was covered with undead.
On instinct, Kakashi reached into his bag and pulled out a kunai and stabbed on in the head as he landed on the roof. The others followed suit with Naruto taking his walking corpse by stomping in the head under his heel, crushing it to a pulp. Naruto reached into his pouch pulling out his 1911 and shoot at another zombie before stabbing one that got to close for his liking. Soon bangs were heard from the others who pulled out their weapons to fire along side him. Once the roof was cleared they reloaded their guns. They completed the action before three of them blinked and looked at each other. "Uhh.." Satsuki got out before Haku and Naruto yelled at the group. "Keep moving!" They yelled as they hopped to the next roof. The girls and the teacher followed in suit. 'We used these new weapons way to fluidly for my liking. Have we done this before? Is someone wiping our minds? Kakashi asked. He looked up at the others infront and watched as Haku and Naruto never broke composure. Still fighting and killing all undead who tried to stop them, with the unnerving fact that as more fell, the wider the eerie smile on his blonde students face grew. Along with the brutality of the kill.
His attention was brought to the pinkette who upon landing on a roof, stopped and changed course. This also caught the attention of the other 3 running alongside her. Kakashi called out to her, however she continued towards a wall. Everyone watch as she pulled out another weapon. Kakashi was again surprised at how familiar she was with the weapon.
"Ah, MP5. Reliable." Naruto said before his eyes shifted towards a light in sky. "She has the right idea. Lets test our luck shall we?" He chuckled before dashing towards it. "Naruto stop we need to stick together!" Kakashi yelled. However, the statement did nothing to slow him down.
"Son of a- Follow him!" He stated causing everyone to follow. They chased after him roof top to roof top, watching as his methods of dispatching got more and more violent. Naruto jumped onto another roof with 4 infected and punched his hand into one of zombie's head, killing it instantly. One of them went for a bite which caused the blonde to quickly grab its jaw before he ripped off its jaw then kicking it away. He used the jaw as a projectile by throwing the lower jar into the face of the 3rd then throwing a kunai to finish it off. He turned and smiled as the one with the now missing jaw stood back up. He summoned 4 shadow clones who quickly grabbed a limb before they tore off the arms and legs. The Shadow clones puffed away and Naruto threw the limbless zombie off the roof and continued his rampage heading towards the beacon.
"Oh my..." Satsuki whispered to herself quietly after witnessing the carnage ahead of her. Sakura also followed the limbless corpse fall into another alleyway below. Others were slowly making their way towards them. As she took in the sight she noticed something.
"Hey guys I think I've found how to repair the sails!" Sakura called out to her team. It was enough to get everyone attention. The group came to a stop and followed the pinkettes line of sight. Kakashi nodded. "Well, one down. Who knows how many more parts we need."
"Let's see put this wire right here, soder this on here, I- will you shut up I didn't have the luxury of your time! Oh don't give me that. Just let me work, and I'll get it done." A voice said in a laboratory. It was a dimly lit room, with mechanical and electrical pieces thrown about. Along side of this were vials of unkown substances along with the occasional human limb. A body was strapped to a table, withs its chest cavity opened and disectedm The most concerning part was a pile of boxes that seemed to have an unatural blue glow.
The man's yellow eyes seemed to glow in the shadows as his pale hands worked on his latest contraption. With some final adjustments he inserted the small light bulbs into the side of his machine. Well not really his but who is going to believe the one who gave him the idea. He pulled a lever back locking in the bulbs before pushing a button.
Brrrrrr
The man grinned before he turned and pointed his weapon towards the corpse on the ground and pulled the trigger. A whirring sound was hear before lightning shot out of the machine straight to the corpse. The bulbs explode after on shot however it had the desired result. The shot sennt volts of electricity through the corpse causing it to explode sending rottening pieces everywhere. "It works! Just as you said it would." The man chuckled before he shook his head.
"Oh as much as I appreciate the advice, I don't believe you have my best interests at heart." He chuckled "Aw don't be like that I'm sure we could-"
A beeping was heard from one of his monitors in the room. He walked over and his snake like eyes went wide at the sight. "That's odd" he typed away at his keyboard trying to pin point a location. Just as quickly as the ping arrived, it vanished. "Interessant.." A couple minutes went by before it reactivated again this time further south but still ii the general area of the Land of Waves. A grin appeared on his face. "Well that's not something that should be active. Oh Kabuto~ fetch me mein minions! Someone is snooping where they aren't supposed to be!" The cheerful tone in his voice did very little to hide his bubbling rage.
And done! Finally new chapter for the new year! Even if half of my state is on fire sadly.
Still surpirsed i have some people who like my story so far. Thanks to all of you who are keeping up with it! Daffykingbob23 thanks for the review ill try to go back and fix my grammer issues however the app is still fighting me on posting chapters. As for the german in his head im still not sure if i want it to be our favorite Nazi or if i want it to be the creator of our dear Group 935. Orochimaru will still drop some german here and there since he is hearing it so often. as for the locations yeah you got Kino right!
