The Scooby Gang had spent hours looking for Eris all over town and had no luck in finding her. They had all split up to look for her in different places that she frequented but it was as if she vanished into thin air.

They knew they had limited time to help Eris before she was completely turned into a demon or killed by the infection, and they knew they were running out of time. "No go at The Bronze," Xander and Anya were the last people to reunite with the team at the Graveyard, everyone was now looking worried and downtrodden.

"She could have left town by now, there is no way we could find her!" Buffy threw her hands up in the air in frustration, she was losing her cousin and hated standing around doing nothing.

"There is…one place we have looked," Tara had spoken so softly that the team almost didn't hear her, her nerves still overpowering her when she was with the group. They were kind to her, but she always thought they would judge her or dislike her. Luckily Willow was always there to support her.

The group watched her patiently, which helped her to say the words she knew the group wouldn't like, "she might be at S-Spikes..."

"Spike? Why would she be with Spike?" Buffy tried not to look at Tara too harshly, but she always got so angry when that annoying vampire was mentioned.

"Tara makes a good point," Willow immediately came to her girlfriends defence, "Eris doesn't really hate Spike as much as she used to, maybe she went to him to help out, he does know a lot about demons."

Xander rolled his eyes, "that guy is like mould, always pops up out of nowhere and never wanted, where does he even live?"

"He lives in a dusty old mausoleum, I kept tabs on him just in case he tried something," Giles spoke up, which earned him raised brows from the group.

"Should I get a stake? He can't hurt us but it could always help."

"No, he's harmless Riley, you made sure of that, but its certainly not off the table," Buffy snorted at her boyfriend's joke before getting back into seriousness, "Giles, show us where he lives, I don't want to waste anymore time."

The group nodded and followed after the older male, heading through the graveyard quickly.

What they would discover once they entered the crypt however was what none of them would ever expect, nor wanted to see. The crypt was covered in blood and in complete disarray, and in the middle-sat Spike on a scratched up couch with Eris on his lap, both completely naked and covered in wounds that were still healing. Eris looked like a demon, her skin had gone completely grey and her eyes a shade of bright green that glowed in the dark. There was barely any remnants of her humanity left.

It was obvious what transpired between the two, and it didn't sit well with anyone, "Eris, did you seriously run away so you could have sex with Spike!?" Buffy's voice was raised in anger and surprise, she didn't want to look at her naked cousin but her anger helped her push past the akwardness.

Eris seemed completely unbothered by her cousin's anger, she was more focused on playing with Spike's fingers, "yes, I did, so what?" her voice was deeper, more gravelly, much like a demon would have.

"Is this because of the demon infection?"

"Yes and no. Slicing his skin open was the demon, fucking him was all me," she finally looked up at the group to see all their disgusted stares. She used to feel so ashamed when they looked at her like that, this time though she couldn't muster up any emotions. A welcomed reaction.

"You're about to turn into a demon and instead you slept with Spike?" Xander couldn't comprehend what he was looking at, not like he really wanted to look, they were both naked and Anya would kill him if he tried to take a peek at Eris' naked body.

"Doesn't look like she has regrets, mate" Spike smirked at the group, enjoying their looks so very much, today was just full of surprises and entertainment, "can we at least get dressed before you keep yelling at us?"

"Y-yes, perhaps that is a good idea," Giles ushered everyone to turn around and let the pair grab clothes. Eris sadly had her clothes ripped apart, so she ended up wearing some of Spike's clothes which he was all but happy to provide.

"Done, do you want to begin yelling at us again?" Eris was now standing beside Spike with her hands on her hips. She wasn't as angry or animalistic as she was before, probably because she let that all out on Spike's body.

"We were worried sick about you Eris, you disappeared from the house," Buffy returned back to her scolding.

"I needed to get away, you were all angering me. Spike found me and helped me calm down."

"By having sex with him?"

"Yes, turns out I've been infected by a Snarlox that turned me into this," Eris motioned to her demonic body before continuing, "they do this because they are all males and need infected female to mate with and have children. Sad for them, Spike beat them to it."

"Gross, stop talking about it."

Willow stepped forward and thought it better to change the subject from the sex. The others felt disgusted but Willow and Tara were just happy Eris was trying to move on, even if it was with Spike, "knowing what demon infected Eris is great! It means we can cure her!"

"We need to use the demon's blood for the cure, which we can get when they eventually track down my location by my scent."

"Then we should move locations to bait them, use Eris to lure the demons and kill them," Giles also wanted to move past the subject of Eris' escapades.

The group agreed and headed out, wanting to get far away from the crypt, "you and I, we're talking about this later," Spike quickly whispered to Eris before she left, he would remain at his crypt so he could begin to clean it up. It was dirty but it was so worth it.

She nodded and left without any reply, she knew they needed to, but she would very much like to be her human self-first before they do.

The gang remained in the graveyard but as far from Spike's crypt as they could get. Buffy wanted to keep talking about what they saw but Willow had quietly begged her not to, they needed to focus more on getting the demon blood and curing Eris before she was a demon permanently.

They waited in silence, weapons at the ready. They knew that the demons would be hunting Eris, smelling her demonic scent. They wouldn't let them have her. Soon they heard rushing footsteps and desperate growls, they were coming.

They were big and deadly, claws bigger than a lions and fangs sharper than a snakes. Their attention was entirely set on Eris, and would try to slaughter anything that got in their way. The Scooby gang would not let that happen, they all stood with Eris and did their best to attack, though their attacks did not compare to the Slayers and her cousins who were cutting down the demons left right and centre. Eris finally had the strength to be equal to the creatures of the night, it was addictive, and she would miss the power the demonic infection gave her after she was cured.

It was not too long before the demons were all slaughtered, and Eris could finally become human again.
