Author Notes: Hey Guys I'm here with new story. I don't own Chuck. This is the first part of my Chuck AEGIS Universe. Lot of things you won't expect and I plan this story to be only the start for many other stories.

Chuck began his day a bit poorly. It wasn't like he had a bad morning, but he was surprised by the fact that when he arrived at the Buy More he learnt that Daniel Shaw was now on the team overseeing Chuck's performance on missions. And the worst part was that if Shaw thought that Chuck couldn't become a spy then the US gouverment may return to the previous arragement of Chuck being an asset, because by now it was clear in Chuck's mind one thing - The US gouverment won't let him go free while he is The Intersect, even if they will get another Intersect running. He could call his father to help with the removal, but he couldn't do that, The Ring would want to capture Orion, and at this moment the only thing that keeps Chuck's father safe is the fact that only he, Casey, Sarah, Beckman, Bryce and Jill know that Stephen Bartowski is the creator of the Intersect and Bryce is dead, while Jill is in hiding and as far as it goes Beckman and Casey won't let The Ring get their hand on Orion, Sarah wouldn't do that to Chuck, so one thing was clear Chuck's father was safe… for now. Other thing was the fact that Chuck didn't want the Intersect removed, he knew that without it he didn't have any chance with Sarah. And if he was an asset, any chance of a relationship with Sarah was non-existent because of the 49B rule.

Chuck entered Castle with Casey. Sarah and Shaw were already inside as Shaw conducted his performance review interviews. Sarah looked mad.

"So as I am sure the Colonel already told you I was assigned to oversee and review your progress as a spy , Chuck. I conducted some interviews with General Beckman, Colonel Casey and Agent Walker. With what I read, heard and observed so far I don't think you can be a spy" said Shaw

"And here it comes. He's going to say that I am more useful as an asset" thought Chuck. He was extremly disappointed and it took all his strenght to not reveal that.

While Casey and Shaw didn't noticed that, Sarah saw that Chuck was sad after hearing what Shaw said. She was conflicted, a part of her wanted to say that Chuck was three times a better spy than Shaw, while another part wanted to hear Shaw saying that trying to make Chuck a spy was waste a time.

"The problem isn't you through. The problem is them." said Shaw pointing towards Casey and Sarah. " The don't let you reach your potential by treating you as a baby. So it's time to let the training wheels down. Chuck I'm sending you to Paris on a solo mission."

Hearing what Shaw said, Sarah said angrily towards Shaw "He isn't ready for solo can't do it."

Sarah noticed Chuck's face after hearing what she said. It was like he got squashed by a mountain. She didn't want to hurt Chuck, but she also disapproved with the idea of sending him in a solo mission.

"He is more than ready. And Beckman approved so he is going. That of course if he doesn't has a problem with this?" said Shaw as he turned to look at Chuck.

Chuck looked for a second at Shaw.

"Finally. Someone who realises that I can help. I can do this. Shaw is right, I'm not a baby." said Chuck

Sarah was saddened by what Chuck said. She was aware of the fact that most of their past mission were a success only because Chuck helped them. She never questioned his ability to help the team, with or without the Intersect.

Shaw gave Chuck a plane ticket and a tranq pen. He also showed Chuck a photo with a bald man. From what Sarah saw the man looked really tough.

I hope you know what you are doing Chuck. thought Sarah.

Next morning Chuck was at LAX. He had only a suitcase with him. He also had the ticket and the pen Shaw gave it to him. He used his fake passport to get past the security checkpoint. Charles Carmichael was ready to go to start his own first solo mission soon. But unaware to him this mission would have some complications.

At the Security Checkpoint

"Good morning, can you show me your passport?" asked one of the men that ckecked the passports

"Sure" said a man in a dark coat with a dark hair.

"Everything looks fine. Have good day Mr. O'Malley" said the security guard as he put a stap on the passport.

"Thanks" said the man with the dark coat.

After he got pass the security checkpoint the man with a dark coat reached in his coat and pulled his phone out. He called someone.

"I'm in. Hugo Panzer would be on the plane and I'm going to retrive the files." said the man

"Don't be so sure of that just yet. I'm in their systems and we have a problem" came a voice from the phone.

"What problem, Stephen?" asked the man in the dark coat.

"Charles Carmichael is on the passagers list, Bryce!" said Stephen

"Fuck! That means that Chuck, Casey and Sarah are here. They won't be too happy to see me. You know because they think I'm dead. Again…" said Bryce Larkin

"I checked and it looks like it's only Chuck." said Stephen

"They sent him on a solo mission? A solo mission on the plane?" asked Bryce

"It looks that way… In any case once the plane is in the air I will cut the any communication system except the one we're using. And I would also contact my son to see what his mission is. Guess we're hijacking his mission!" said Stephen Bartowski.

The call ended. Bryce went to board the plane.

Once he reached his sit Chuck met Hannah. She was sitting next to him talking on the phone. He was sitting in the first class. But he also observed a man sitting two chairs far from him. After he saw his face Chuck flashed.

Hugo Panzer - rogue CIA agent. Missing from 2001. Aproach with Caution. Intel suggests that he works as a mercenary for hire. 26 confirmed kills. Known associates Sydney Price, Stefan Rojas, Jack Artman, Galina Bryant,Javier Cruz, Sandra Lockmeaver, Serena Weaver.

"Oh, Boy!" said Chuck

The voice of the pilot came from the speaker annoucing that the plane was ready to take off.
