Ulrich362: The last chapter was... a lot of dueling, but it did reveal some interesting dynamics and maybe planted the seeds of a very intense relationship wouldn't you agree?
bopdog111: Yeah it did. Like that Celina defeated Yuri without Last Fusion for one thing.
Ulrich362: Final Fusion. Though someone is definitely not going to be happy about Jaden not only winning but turning down Obelisk Blue.
bopdog111: And that person is Dr. Crowler who has enough of Jaden making a 'mockery' of the strongest dorm. He has to be clever though to avoid getting into more trouble then he already is.
Ulrich362: True, but what will he try this time? I guess there's only one way to find out.

At night on Academy Island Alexis was standing outside of an abandoned building with a rose in her hand as she placed it down sadly in front of a gravestone.
'Be at peace brother, where've you are.' she thought sadly.
She lowered her head from this. Her brother had been missing at this building for a while, and one of the reasons she came to his Academy in the first place was to find him, and bring him back. She had done some digging, and found this place, the Abandoned Dorm that is so taboo, and haunted that going near it is a penalty by expulsion. But Alexis knows her brother is here somewhere.
Suddenly she hears a twig snapped behind her.
"Huh, what was that, who's there?" she questioned turning towards the sound.
Her flashlight shined onto the person behind her. It was Celina who is raising her arm to block out the brightness of the flashlight off her eyes.
"Hey, you could blind someone with that!" Celina cried while shielding her eyes.
Alexis blinked shocked before turning off her flashlight. "Sorry." Then she went over with a frown. "Did you follow me here Celina?"
"Gee, you snuck out in the middle of the night." Celina pointed out as she rubbed her eyes. "So... what is this place?"
Alexis sighed before she turned back towards the dorm. "This... was the last place where he was at." She looked towards the gravestone placing a hand on her chest looking sad. "My older brother, Atticus."
"Your older... I'm so sorry." Celina frowned before looking. "Should we head inside then?"
Alexis softly shook her head no. "No, we can't." She turned over towards her. "If we head inside whatever it was that take him would take us too. Besides the Abandoned Dorm is forbidden to be near, even just a fair distance here is pushing luck over our enrollment here."
Celina frowned hearing that but she nodded as the two of them turned and walked away from the Abandoned Dorm.
Meanwhile at the Ra Yellow Dorm...
"...And underneath the full moon, I see a path through the cavern that seems...abandoned..."
Syrus was currently telling Chumley, Jaden, Dennis, Yuri, Bastion, and Sora all about a scary story. They were drawing cards, and whatever monster they drew, the higher the level, the more scary the story would be. They were all seated in the dining room, the candle being their only light source. The girls were offered to join but Jasmine, and Mindy declined wanting to do stuff of there own while Grace, and Gloria went to bed early.
They are currently in the Ra Yellow Lunchroom to do these scary story shows with candles around for dim light while drawing the cards.
"Really, then what happened?" Jaden asked curiously.
"Yeah, what happened in the cavern Syrus?" Dennis inquired as he was captivated by the story.
Syrus's expression grew more serious as his tone deepened, trying to set a scary setting. "Then, back at the cavern, I see a mysterious lake. So, I go in to look veeerrrryyy carefully...And, under just the right angle of light, at the very bottom of the lake, beyond my reflection, I see a rare and powerful card! Naturally, I'd go and get it, but when I reached for it... an arm grabs me, and tries pulling me towards the lake!"
Chumley, who had been sitting next to Syrus, freaked out and backed away real afraid.
"AAAAAHHH! HELP ME! NOT THE WATER! ANYTHING BUT THE WATER!" Syrus started clawing at the air to visualized the experience.
Jaden grinned leaning in close. "Aw, water's not so bad!"
Syrus dropped the act, looking curious. "Um... dirty swamp water?"
"It sounds perfect for my plants." Yuri smirked before pausing as he frowned for what felt like the hundredth time that night.
"Aw, you're right, nobody would be scared of that." Syrus frowned as Chumley was shivering panicking.
"Still, it fit the level." Bastion pointed out taking the card looking at it. "Not too bad for a level four... so who's turn is it now... I think it was you Jaden?"
"Yeah, oh I hope it's a high level!" Jaden grinned as he drew the card. Flipping it they see it was Sinister Serpent, a measly Level 1.
"Oh, you lucked out. You hardly have to scare us with that card." Syrus was relieved though that whatever kind of story Jaden was planning can't be used as it's too weak for it now.
Jaden shrugged. He wasn't bothered by that cause in case he didn't get it right, he got another one that should be right. "Well, I think I have a story that'll be right."
"Oh, what is it?" Sora asked curiously.
"Well, it's more like a memory. Back when I was a little kid, I used to hear sounds, but I only hear them real late at night."
Flashback...
In a small room, completely covered in large blue bedsheets, a little boy about 5 or 6 years old was fully asleep, snoring peacefully as he moved closer to his soft, cloud-like pillow.
Suddenly, some light illuminated from her closet along with some strange noises. They were enough to wake up poor little Jaden, causing him to groan from the weird noises and light that woke him up.
A bit scared and curious, Jaden walked towards his closet. He twisted the knob and gently let the door open by itself. By the time he did, the voices and light were all gone. All that was left of the room was a minature slide, some toys scattered throughout the floor, and his cards in his card case.
Bending down, Jaden lowered his picked up his card case and lifting off the top of the case with one hand.
Flashback End...
Syrus and Chumley blinked, waiting for him to speak further. "...And then...?"
"Hmm...And, that's the end of the story!"
Both boys groaned in disappointment. The story was getting good, and it had an anti-climatic ending like that.
"You can't build up suspense like that and then leave the audience disappointed Jaden." Dennis frowned. "Even if it's only level one have a coat fall or something to make the audience jump... the story feels incomplete."
"Well then why don't you try Dennis?" Jaden offered.
"Well, if you insist." he chuckled taking the top card and revealing the level seven Chakra. "Oh, this should be interesting."
"You have a level seven story?" Bastion inquired.
"Yes, but... like Jaden's it's a memory." Dennis spoke over to them. "See you already know me as a street magician right?" They nodded over confirming this. "Well being one is risky business. Performing stunts, and such they always have the risks of you being injured even if you mastered them through countless uses."
"Wait did something like that happened to you?" Jaden widen his eyes that happened to Dennis.
"Well, not me exactly." Dennis admitted as he closed his eyes. "It was... a mentor of mine... or I guess role model is the better word for it. His name was Arkana and he was an amazing magician. I was just a little boy but he was a master of illusions and magic. Though that all changed one fateful day."
Flashback...
A young Dennis was in a crowd watching as a magician in a white suit performed illusions like creating birds from a bouquet and other amazing magic tricks as his eyes lit up in excitement as the magician and his assistant happily waved to the crowd as the magician entered a box that was chained up, everything looked to be going incredibly well though Dennis noticed something looked off, one of the chains looked like it was broken but he assumed it was just part of the act.
Though as the box was lifted the chain started to strain before with a deafening crack it shattered and the box fell to the ground before exploding into a massive fireball.
End Flashback...
"I still see the flames in my mind sometimes, he didn't survive the explosion."
"Oh man that sounds scary..." Syrus spoke afraid trembling. "A-And you still pursue that crazy career choice?"
"Well what seems to be going on here?"
Everyone about yelped or yelled out before turning to see it was Professor Sartyr who had came to investigate the strange light in here but sees it was them looking intent about something.
"Oh, hello Professor. We were passing the time by telling some frightening stories... you see we flip over the top card and the higher the level of the monster the scarier the story... so far the highest we've gotten was a level nine from Yuri... who may have told a true story about a plant eating someone who annoyed him." Bastion mentioned shuddering a bit as Yuri only smirked before his expression darkened again.
"Oh really that sounds intriguing. Can I join?"
"I think you already did with that jumpscare." Syrus admitted to him trying to catch his breath.
Chumley then gestured to the Deck. "But yeah, here Professor, draw a card."
"Okay..." Professor Sartyr takes the top card flipping it to reveal Five-Headed Dragon, a Level 12 monster.
"Whoa, Level 12, that's the highest level!" Jaden widen his eyes seeing the monster's level knowing they are in for a truly scary story.
"I-I think, I'm gonna go to bed now!" Syrus isn't as thrilled in fact his heart was beating in fear, and feet trembling under the table with the monster's level.
"Yeah, I think I'm done with this game." Chumley agreed nervously.
"Hm... a level 12 should be really scary." Professor Sartyr noted thoughtfully. "Well... I normally shouldn't bring this up but I suppose it's the scariest thing I can think of... the story of the Abandoned Dorm on the edge of the island."
"Abandoned Dorm?" Sora asked curiously. "What's that?"
"Not many people talk about it, there is a rule of trespassing there is off limits for you see, it was shut down after several students went missing." Professor Sartyr explained to them about it. "Nobody knows how, nobody knows why, but a great light had overtaken the dorm, and everyone who was involved disappeared. It's all superstition but we are not sure why, but some rumors had told that it involves the Shadow Games of old."
"Ok that's enough you can stop!" Chumley was already scared as is.
"Oh, but aren't you curious? They say that the Shadow Games are played with legendary mystical items." Professor Sartyr mentioned.
"Do you mean the Millennium Items? I've heard of those but it's not real." Jaden admitted.
Professor Sartyr chuckled. "True, most people do say that but Professor Banner always said that every story needs to have come from somewhere, so who knows? I suppose anything is possible." He then raised bowing to them. "Now students, you should head back to your rooms, and dorms before curfew. It's an early school day tomorrow."
"Aw... well alright. See you guys later." Syrus mentioned getting up.
"Sounds good, oh and Syrus try not to trip in any dangerous puddles." Dennis chuckled.
"That's not funny Dennis." Syrus frowned over to him.
"You two seem quiet, do you have anything to say about the Abandoned Dorm?" Jaden turned to Yuri, and Sora if they are scared or something about that story.
"It sounds interesting, but if it's abandoned we shouldn't go there." Sora answered as Yuri was just frowning and looked to be deep in thought.
"Is something the matter?" Chumley seeing his look couldn't help asking Yuri.
"Hm, did you say something?" Yuri frowned before getting up. "I have to do something, none of you bother me."
With that he walked into his room.
"What's his problem?" Chumley asked seeing that. "He's normally kind of scary but other than his story he looked really down tonight."
"Probably after Celina beat him?" Jaden asked before shrugging. "Ah well, let's head to the Abandoned Dorm tomorrow." They looked at him like he's crazy which he points out. "That story can't be true can it? The Shadow Games haven't been mentioned in years so it's probably fake."
"Sure, that could be fun." Sora grinned.
What none of them realized though was that Dr. Crowler had been eavesdropping to try and find any way to get Jaden, and Sora expelled and hearing that he grinned. What fun! Now he has a clear way to get those two off his Island, and not be caught anymore! "This is just the opportunity I've been waiting for." 'I think it's about time the Shadow Games made a comeback, Millennium Items and all.'
He then started to mentally laugh.
Meanwhile in the Obelisk Blue Girl's dorm...
"What do you two know about the Abandoned Dorm, or Alexis's brother?"
That was the voice of Celina as she was in the Hot Springs after arriving back with Alexis. Alexis had went to bed after she asked Celina to keep this between them. Mindy, and Jasmine who are with her already known of her daily visits to pay respects to Atticus, which is why Celina asked them that question.
"Well Alexis only told us that Atticus disappeared with the other students there." Mindy admitted to her. "We never been close to it."
Celina frowned a bit. "So you don't know, oh well it just seems like Alexis is connected to that place, and it has to be abandoned for a reason... I might check it myself."
"No way, you'll be expelled if you're caught there." Jasmine frowned.
"She's right, I know you want to help Alexis but that's one thing you cannot do." Mindy agreed causing Celina to frown as she looked up at the moon in thought.
Meanwhile...
A masked man was dueling someone in an alley surrounded by fog.
"O-Okay okay! Take anything you want just please don't hurt me!" his opponent spoke fearfully losing badly.
"What I want..." Spoke the masked man wearing a fedora while his Duel Disk looks like it's built in his body. He has on a black mask signaling he is a shady figure. "...Is your soul." While he said this he held up what looks like an Artifact as it glowed brightly.
His opponent begged, "No! Please show some mercy!"
"Some mercy..." The shady man trailed off before smirking, "What is that?" At that the artifact reacted as his opponent screamed leaving him gone. "Rest in peace... In the Shadow Realm..."
Hearing a phone ringing he said emotionless, "Speak..." Silence was on for a few minutes before he said, "Duel Academy... Tomorrow Night... I'll be there."
The next day at morning...
"...The philosophy of dueling went through a second renaissance with the rise of what some historians dub 'Virtual Dueling'." Professor Banner was explaining as in the classroom some of the students were asleep.
Outside the classroom was Dr. Crowler grinning over at Jaden from the crack of the door. Said boy was sleeping while Sora is looking bored. 'Going through yet another class... But you both will have a make-up class soon enough... A lesson in the Shadow Games!'
Later that night Dr. Crowler was hiding near the lighthouse waiting for his surprise guest to show. He had to make a few phone calls and call the right duelist for this special occasion. Hearing footsteps approaching, Dr. Crowler turned around, grinning. "So you're the one they call the Shadow Duelist."
"My opponent's call me many things, but some are hard to discern from their shrieks of terror." the masked man stated as fog started to come from a briefcase he was holding.
"Oh my, very impressive effects." Dr. Crowler grinned looking at the man's outfit from multiple angles. "Oh yes, you'll do very nicely."
"What's the job?" the man questioned bluntly.
Clearing his throat Dr. Crowler gave him the assignment. "I want you to fright two people so intensely, that they leave this Academy and never comes back! Up to the challenge?"
"Of course, I never turn my back to a challenge." the man replied only for Dr. Crowler to try and get behind him as he kept turning to face him.
"Oh my, you are good." Dr. Crowler grinned.
"I'm better than good, and I'll prove it." the man mentioned as he seemed to fade away into the fog. "Not just by scaring these people, but by banishing them to the Shadow Realm."
"Hm... well alright if you insist." Dr. Crowler smirked.
He left as Dr. Crowler was left in thought. 'Banished to the Shadow Realm... well he sure is one to keep his act together.' Then he turned smirking to himself. 'Now with this, Sora, and Jaden will be so scared, they will leave the island to get away, and nothing can be traced back to me! Oh, I'm such a genius!'
Meanwhile nearby at the Abandoned Dorm...
"You guys didn't had to come if you didn't want too."
Jaden, and the other boys were on there way to the Abandoned Dorm from some directions. Bastion, and Yuri didn't follow them so it's just them all to head there by themselves although Jaden can see Chumley, and Syrus are afraid of being to a place of Shadow Games which is why he brought that up.
"Oh, great in that case we can head back Syrus." Chumley mentioned to him.
"Oh no you don't, where's your sense of grand adventure?" Dennis chuckled. "It could be quite the show you two would miss if you don't come along."
"Well... as long as we don't drop into some dirty swamp water."
"Very funny, you didn't take a bath last night cause you were worried about that." Syrus gave a dull look towards Chumley for that.
Sora shuddered moving away from Chumley.
"So… what are we going to find?" Dennis asked.
"Anything. Anything to show this Shadow Game business isn't real." Jaden spoke as they walked together approaching the dorm. They suddenly heard a twig snapped that Syrus, and Chumley yelped, and Jaden turned quick shining his flashlight at who was there.
"Seriously, again?" It was Celina who shielded her eyes from the light alongside Alexis who had her own flashlight.
"What are you doing here?" Alexis questioned.
"I was gonna ask you two the same." Jaden admitted. "You two came to check the Abandoned Dorm too?"
"No, haven't you heard that students tend to disappear around that place?" Alexis frowned seeing the crowd here.
"Don't tell me you believe in that silly ghost story about the Shadow Games Alexis." Jaden mentioned only for Sora to notice her expression darken a bit from this like she knows something different.
"It is just a ghost story right?" he inquired.
"No, it's not just a story, Alexis knows that all too well." Celina answered. "Besides, this place is forbidden so if any of us get caught we'll be expelled and then goodbye any career as a duelist."
"Then why are you two here?"
"I have my own reasons is why!" Alexis snapped defensively which made Jaden raised his hands defensively. She then sighed over from this taking a breath to calm herself down looking somber. "It's just that... my brother was one of the students that went missing."
"Your brother?" Dennis gasped hearing that. "That, I'm so sorry."
Jaden meanwhile glanced over and noticed a rose on the ground as his eyes widened in realization.
"We were just heading back, so you guys should get going too." Celina mentioned only to frown a bit before closing her eyes. "Call it a hunch, but something feels off tonight."
"Yeah, you heard them Jaden we should go." Jaden didn't listen to Chumley instead running over to enter the dorm for himself.
"Huh, hey Jaden!" Syrus cried running after him as the rest of the group followed them into the dorm
"You two coming?" Sora asked only to notice the girls were gone as he shrugged. "Oh well, that's their choice I guess."
Jaden entered the dorm pushing the door open. He looked around seeing the Dorm had seen better days, it's old, ruined, decaying, and lots of other things to describe it's appearance right now alongside on the walls are carvings of the mystical Millennium Items. As the boys were all looking Alexis had stayed back to look at them while Celina went back to the dorm only to turn as the masked man appeared in front of her with a smirk as she let out a loud scream.
They looked around as Syrus shined his flashlight on the mural of the carvings shivering. "Why exactly are the Millennium Items shown on the walls?" He is getting a real bad feeling like he always does here, and seeing this alongside the rumors of the Shadow Games being the reason why the students went missing from this dorm is giving him massive anxiety.
"Maybe this place really is connected to the Shadow Games... in fact, I feel... kind of... funny." Dennis mentioned as he looked off before dramatically fainting.
"AAAAHHHH!" Syrus and Chumley screamed seeing that as Sora couldn't help but grin as he secretly hid under a table while letting a cry as they turned and didn't see him anymore.
Jaden also looked walking to Dennis, and got on a knee poking him. Dennis opened one eye before winking to have Jaden play along.
Jaden blinked before grinning deciding to do so. "Hey Dennis are you al-" He paused looking woozy. "Hey what's..." He then turned to Syrus, and Chumley with a pretty convincing daze look. "Syyyyrrrruuuussss... Chuuummmmly... give me your soooouuuullls..."
The two of them screamed in terror and hugged each other as Jaden noticed a picture of a brown-haired boy as he blinked moments before they heard a loud scream. Sora peeked out hearing that while Dennis sat up. "Did you guys heard that?"
"It sounded like Alexis." Jaden frowned as he looked and saw a hallway. "Come on, let's go!"
"Right." Dennis agreed. "She might be in trouble."
They all ran together down the stairs while Chumley groaned again about running. Arriving deep within the dorm they see a large room where they find Alexis unconscious in a demonic coffin.
"Alexis!" Jaden cried seeing that.
Suddenly they heard some laughing looking around seeing no-one. "She can't hear you... She is locked away in the Shadow Realm..."
"Who's there!?"
Jaden's holler had triggered something as shadows gathered in front of them before something rose from within. He lifted his head revealing himself to be the Shadow Duelist. "Your worst nightmares coming true."
"Oh give me a break." Jaden frowned.
"Then let me prove it to you, in a Shadow Game." the masked man stated only for Dennis to start applauding.
"Very nice, the smoke effects are a great touch do you dabble in magic too?" he asked grinning. "Though we'd appreciate it if you let our friend go, thanks."
The Shadow Duelist blinked from this while Sora grinned walking in front of him. "Well let's see how genuine your 'Shadow Games' are shall we? I'll take you on sir."
"My name is Titan, and I will accept the challenge you issued on young man. But know it will be your last mistake." the Shadow Duelist, Titan, warned over to Sora smirking.
Sora only grinned as Jaden ran past to make sure Alexis was ok but she didn't wake up.
"Alexis, don't worry I promise we'll get you out safely." he told her as he gently took her hand.
"Let's Duel!" Sora and Titan called together.

Sora's eyes widened. "2000 points right away, that's a pretty strong monster for your first card."

Titan chuckled sinisterly from Jaden speaking of this. Of course, Titan is aware as he uses these cards quite often. "A price you say... normally you'd be correct but on this instance, it won't happen." He takes a second place placing in into a part of his Duel Disk. "Such as the Field Spell, Pandemonium!"
At that a bright light happened as they covered there eyes. When it cleared they see they are are what looks like a part of hell itself with the landscape of stone gargoyles around with a red hue around with centipede statues as well alongside a pool of lava at the center.

"Pandemonium, so I'm guessing this card stops you from paying for your cards, not bad." Sora grinned.
"Indeed, as the price he speaks of is now null and void. And that if an Archfiend is destroyed except from battle, I can add an Archfiend that's lower in Level to my hand." Titan spoke taking Sora as the observant type. "I place 2 cards face-downs. It's your move boy."

"Oh man, Sora better be careful who knows what this guy can do." Syrus looked over concerned before turning his attention to Alexis who is being looked over by Jaden.
Noticing the gaze to the girl Titan raised an arm which made the coffin closed as stone claws emerged from the ground forcing Jaden to step back as the claws take the coffin pulling it down to the ground with Alexis.
"Hey, what did you do to her!?" Jaden yelled at Titan.
"Don't worry Jaden I'll get her out of here in no time." Sora reassured him with a grin as he drew his card. "Ok, let's start with a facedown card and then I'll play Toy Vendor!"

"Is this joke, you using stuffed animals?" Titan drew when his Duel Coat ejected a card for him. "Well no matter, during this Standby Phase, I pay 900 mandatory Life Points to keep Shadowknight Archfiend on the field, however due to Pandemonium's effect that is skipped!"
"Alright, that's fine with me." Sora shrugged popping a lollipop into his mouth.
Titan blinked from the lollipop but shakes it off. "Maybe this will get you to be serious! I will now summon Terrorking Archfiend at this time!" At that raising up was a red gutted like fiend with jaws on it's abdomen, some sort of bone crown like head, and large wings raising up roaring with a purple bladed sword.

"Got it, oh hey mind if I interrupt really quick?" Sora asked with a grin. "I use Edge Imp Scythe's effect in my hand."
He revealed the monster.
"During your turn I can use this monster along with monsters on my field and hand to Fusion Summon."
The Scythe appeared and entered the Fusion Vortex along with Fluffal Cat.
"I Fusion Summon Frightfur Cruel Whale!" Raising up was Cruel Whale who bellowed on the field.

"What? A Fusion Summon using a monster from the hand during my turn?" Titan spoke up surprised from this never seeing this tactic.
"Yup, and I'm not done... my Frightfur Cruel Whale's ability destroys a card on both of our fields like my Fluffal Penguin and your Pandemonium field spell!" Sora grinned.
Cruel Whale bellowed loud as it charged in attacking Fluffal Penguin before blasting around Pandemonium where it crumbled around, and broke apart all around ridding Titan of what was keeping him in tact.
"Oh, and by the way my Fluffal Cat's ability lets me add Polymerization from my graveyard back to my hand." Sora smirked adding the spell. "So, you were saying?"
Titan glared over towards him from this. "Fine then... I activate the spell, Archfiend's Staff of Despair!" Terrorknight takes a staff that appeared with bandages around it.

"And I activate it's effect! Now until the end of this turn, every monster on your field loses attack points equal to half of Terrorking Archfiend's!" Terrorking raised the staff as a dark smog surrounded Sora's field.
Sora's eyes widened.

"Battle! Terrorking Archfiend attack his whale! Bursting Organs!" Terrorknight's abdomen jaws opened as dozens of flies flying out shooting over to Frightfur Cruel Whale.
"I use Frightfur Cruel Whale's ability!" Sora called. "I can target one of my Fusion Monsters and then I send a Frightfur card from my Deck or Extra Deck to the graveyard and half that monster's attack points are added to my Fusion Monster, so I'll add half of Frightfur Daredevil's 3000 points to my Cruel Whale!"
Frightfur Cruel Whale: (ATK: 1600 + (3000/2) = 3100)
"What?" Titan widen his eyes as Cruel Whale retaliated blasting Terrorking Archfiend's bugs, and onto itself destroying it. Titan was raising an arm against the shockwave from the destruction. (Titan: 2900/Hand: 1) He glared over towards Sora grunting. "Tch, cheeky brat..."
Sora just smirked. "Something wrong, or are my playthings playing with you instead?"
"Grr, I activate Desrook Archfiend's effect in my hand!" Titan reveals a monster card in his hand. "When a Terrorking Archfiend on my field is destroyed, I can revive it by discarding this card!" After that Terrorking burst out of the graveyard growling over.

Sora shrugged at that but nodded. "Ok then."
"I end my turn."

"Okay, I guess those cards really CAN do something but who knows what else this guy has." Chumley admitted to them now thinking Sora's cards can have a chance despite appearances.
"Of course, one thing we magicians learn is never take cute, and cuddly as the helpless type, they are capable of biting back." Dennis spoke with a grin.
Sora drew his card and grinned. "Game over."
"Game over?" Titan raised an eyebrow hearing that.
"Yup, I use Polymerization and this spell fuses Fluffal Mouse and Edge Imp Sabres in my hand." Sora grinned as the two monsters appeared and entered the Fusion Vortex.

"You should really pay more attention." Sora told him. "See, my Frightfur Tiger has two abilities... first all my Frightfur Monsters gain 300 attack points for every Fluffal and Frightfur monster on my field."

"What?" Titan's facedowns were Hate Buster, and Archfiend's Roar.
"Well good thing that happened or Sora would lose one of his monsters from Hate Buster, and take a lot of damage with it." Chumley admitted over towards them.
"Ok, with that done I'll use Cruel Whale's ability to send Frightfur Chimera to the graveyard and give half its attack points to Frightfur Tiger." Sora grinned.
Frightfur Tiger: (ATK: 2500 + (2800/2) = 3900)
"Cruel Whale attack Terrorking Archfiend!"
Cruel Whale charged a blast firing over, and struck Terrorking Archfiend as it screeched loud shattering while Titan backed away. (Titan: 1700/Hand: 0) "No... this can't be!"
"Now, Frightfur Tiger, take down his Shadowknight Archfiend and end this duel!" Sora called.
Tiger charged straight in clawing down on Shadowknight Archfiend destroying it, and ending the match.

"Nnnnnnooooo!" Titan yelled from losing the match before he dropped to his knees, and collapsed on his stomach a golden pendant dropping down his form breaking apart on the ground before then revealing it was all an illusion with smoke and mirrors and not a real Shadow Game.
Seeing that Jaden ran over to make sure Alexis was alright. The coffin was still opened as Jaden helps her out. Slowly Alexis woken up looking up towards him. "J-Jaden... what's going on?"
"Sora took down that creep who kidnapped you, and we're all here to get you out of here." Jaden mentioned only to blink as he heard Syrus gasp.
"Wh... where did he?" Syrus asked fearfully as they saw Titan was gone.
They looked around over before Dennis shrugged. "Well from the looks of things here, he is a phony on the Shadow Games. So maybe he pulled a disappearing act to leave." Of course, unaware of them the Shadows of the Abandoned Dorm were enraged at this Shadow Game being fake, and so take Titan away for him to face the penalty of not only losing but also making a fake Shadow Game.
"Well, we should all get out of here before anything bad happens." Jaden suggested he was offering Alexis a hand. "Do you need help getting out of this place?"
"Uh yes." Alexis takes his hand as they all moved exiting the dorm before anything else.
A few minutes later Dr. Crowler walked into the Dorm looking around. "Oh hello, Shadow Duelist? Are you here? I'm here to check up on how your operation is going." He shines his flashlight around the entrance before noticing a card on the ground, approaching over he picks it up seeing it's Pandemonium.
"He failed, oh well... I can still get those two expelled for entering the Abandoned Dorm." Dr. Crowler frowned that this duelist he hired failed in this simple task as he left to avoid being caught.
With them...
"For a Shadow Duelist, I thought he be... tougher, but you were just teasing him with your Deck." Syrus spoke towards Sora as they headed back to there Dorms after they dropped Alexis off. "Although, I think he's lucky, I'm a bit scared if it was Yuri dueling him."
"Yeah... I'm worried though, he's been quiet since the promotion exams." Sora admitted.
"Well you said he never lost until that Celina girl beat him. Probably must be wallowing." Chumley spoke before perking up. "And actually that be a good thing, that way on the next Promotion Exams he be too distracted to duel straight, and we can beat him easy."
"No, I don't want a win like that Chum." Jaden admitted towards him. "I want to face him, and his dragon with all they had, no tricks, or a sliver platter involved."
"Well time to split... good night guys." Syrus bowed as they walked back to there own dorms.
"By the way, that was a sweet match Sora." Jaden grinned to said boy. "I don't see often people using stuffed animals but they fit you right. Let's try dueling sometime." He winked to him.
"Sure." Sora grinned.
So they walked back arriving at there Dorm to tuck in for the night.
bopdog111: Well there will be instances where episodes like these aren't changed too much despite this fic being the most different from canon. And sorry if the duel was anti-climatic but come on both Titan, and the Chess Archfiends are way behind, and underpowered then what they were previously.
