7. Update for some things

I hate doing these, but I feel I owe it to my audience to do so. That sounded bad, but this add-on is to inform y'all that I havenotabandoned this. I just really suck at updating. I haven't touched this story since I last updated it, which was...back in mid-November. It's been like two and a half months since then, and I am ashamed to admit there isn't much to see. Most of December had my writing "You're My Christmas Wish" (a stand-alone, non-canon story. If you haven't done so already, please feel free to check it out), and most of January has me thinking aboutanotherfic I've been cooking up, despite me having:

Shadowed Eons (Pokemon) to fix and add to, if I feel like it

Age of Ascension (Bloodborne/Elden Ring) to add to, when I don't forget for another year

You're My Christmas Wish (Pokemon) to give one final chapter to, maybe soon-ish

You're My Inspiration (Pokemon) to fix and add to (obviously, since this is YMI), maybe soon-ish

A Champion, a Brain, and a Murder (Pokemon) to add to, no timeline on that

So yeah, my hands are quite full. I can say that this new fic I'm thinking about is Spider-Man/MHA, for those interested.

As for this story, I have updated Chapter 1 and fixed a few things. Before I release Chapter 7 of YMI, I will have fixed some of the glaring issues in 2-6 as well (and 1 if it still needs it). In terms of changes to Chapter 1, I have changed the cringe goodbye scene at the end to something slightly less cringe. I hated what I did with Brock and Misty due to how forced it was, so I scrapped it and tweaked that section. It's still a little weak, but not as bad as before. I have also added to the end of Chapter 1, and gave...clues, for lack of a better word. Not a lot, but some. Due to this, I will need to update some chapters to not create plot holes, so if you are reading this at all, then the plot holes this chapter likely opened up have not been closed.

Oh, and if you're an artist, please don't PM or review about commissions. It will result in an immediate block, if only to prevent my inbox from being filled. I apologize, but I am not in the market to pay for art, even if it's for my stories.

Apart from that, I don't really have anything to add, apart from love God and repent of your sins, cuz I wanna see y'all in heaven. Peace!

Oh, and if you wanna chat with a bunch of people, here's an invite to a discord server I'm in. It's not mine, and it's not Pokemon centered (It's MHA), but it's full of fun people. If you're a troll, the owner or mod will probably kick you, so don't do anything more stupid than me (which is a surprising amount of leeway).
