Incoming Event of the Grand Bout

Inuyasha, Senku, and Chrome are walking close together heading for the big pool of sulfuric acid with the white hair boy in front as the bodyguard with the silver spear.

"Whoa, this place is big!" Inuyasha was surprised when they arrived at the area, seeing this place like the water made of one giant gem.

"Yeah, it would make a killer pool party if this stuff doesn't kill you when trying to make a decent cannonball. You know, I bet a normal cannonball, the ones launched from cannons, would probably explode if making contact with this stuff." Senku theorized.

"I rather not know what all of that means." Chrome exclaimed a little.

Inuyasha looks down seeing the tip of the spear turning black from the contact of the acid in the air just like Senku said, this means they're in the dead zone right now.

"(Okay, the big dead end where death is literally a thing here and we need to be extremely careful not to get ourselves in that crazy stuff.)" Inuyasha thought readied himself for this, like he's about to face an Angel of Death.

"Come on, Chrome. Let's get to work." Inuyasha said.

"Right, but to be honest… This is still freaking me out." Chrome admitted.

"Don't worry, you're not the only one who's scared." Inuyasha said, looking at him in the eyes that he's scared too.

"We're gonna have to do our best and push through if we are going to get much of this stuff as possible." Inuyasha stated.

"He's right. Plus, you need to steady your breathing or else your mask won't work on this poison gas for long." Senku warned.

"Oh, now you tell me." Chrome sighed a little.

While Chrome and Senku are gathering up the sulfuric acid with the tools they got, Inuyasha is on the lookout for both of them to make sure this operation goes smoothly and pull them out just in case any danger happens around them.

"Everything is okay right now. No sign of any danger, but that doesn't mean I should relax even for a second. Gotta be the bodyguard for Senku and Chrome, for all of us to make it back." Inuyasha looked around a bit.

"Hey Chrome, how's it going over here?" Inuyasha asked.

"Looking good so far, but it's a slow process with scooping up some of this stuff." Chrome answered.

"I wish there was an easier way to getting this stuff in all the jars." Chrome said.

"I think Sango mentioned something about this. She said that she made this sticky handle thing to hold the big glass contain if we wanted to get it done faster." Inuyasha showed the handle.

"Dude! Why didn't you mention this before?" Chrome asked gasping.

Chrome attaches the sticky handle bar on the big glass contain with the length being long enough for to not only reach for the sulfuric acid, but to also to keep a safe distance from getting touch by that dangerous stuff.

"Wow, this is great! This makes our job a little easier." Chrome smiled under the mask.

Chrome started scooping the big glass container into the sulfuric acid pool to get the amount they want though it feels a little heavy for him, but suddenly he gasps when he saw a hole appearing on the tube of Senku's gas mask.

"Senku! The hose on your gas mask is melting and it's about to burst open!" Chrome gasped and was about to run off. And letting go of the handle.

"Chrome, stop!" Inuyasha rushed down and reached out his hand to grab the handle and the glass container.

"Good thing we came out here as a team." Senku said while tapping up the hole to keep it from getting worse.

"See, nothing to worry about." Inuyasha said with a grin.

"Oh yeah, guess we really did came prepare and—Oh shit! Inuyasha!" Chrome gasped upon seeing the position Inuyasha is in.

Inuyasha has leaned his body down and forward in order to catch the handle of the glass container to make sure they don't lose it in the acid pool, but now he finds himself unable to move because his foot is about halfway out of the ground and any sudden movement could cause him to slip right into the acid.

"Inuyasha! Are you okay?" Chrome asked worry.

"Yeah, I'll be fine. Don't worry, just need a little help with pulling me back up." Inuyasha groaned a little.

Being in this kind of position is making Inuyasha feel like the sulfuric Angel of Death is laughing at him right now, waiting for the foolish boy to fall right into her acid and claim another victim.

"Hang on, buddy! I got you!" Chrome quickly looked around and found the spear that has turn almost completely black.

"Quick! Grab onto the spear, I'll pull you out!" Chrome held the spear close to Inuyasha.

"I'll try!" Inuyasha slowly moved his free hand and then grabs hold of the spear.

Chrome starts pulling the spear to drag Inuyasha away from the sulfuric acid pool though it's proven to be a little difficult with how heavy Inuyasha is along with one jar full of sulfuric acid, but he wasn't going to give up on one of his friends to this stupid angel thing because she is not going to take him.

"I got you!" Senku appeared and grabbed onto the spear to help Chrome.

"Remember to control your breathing, the gas mask won't help if you breath rapidly." Senku said.

"Right!" Chrome nodded.

"Awesome!" Inuyasha smiled, glad to have these guys have his back.

They managed to pull Inuyasha out of danger and got the jar full of sulfuric acid.

"Nice work, we were able to pull it off." Senku smirked.

"Working together with me and Senku as the brain!" Chrome smiled.

"And me the bodyguard, we're gonna make this mission successful!" Inuyasha said.

"More than you know. Sulfuric acid acquired." Senku declared.

(With Kagome)

Kagome is pacing around in circles waiting for her boyfriend and his friends to come back despite only being a couple of hours, she knows that he'll be okay, but it wouldn't hurt to worry. Suika is also pacing around with Kagome because she's also worried.

"(I really hope they're okay.)" Kohaku thought prayed for their safety.

Then they heard a loud howling coming from a distance, and everyone smile knowing that howl anywhere causing Chalk to howl back.

"Looks like they're okay." Kohaku smiled.

"Oh, thank goodness. I was really worried there for a second." Kagome sighed in relief.

Moments later, the Sulfuric Acid Retrieval group came back with success as Inuyasha is carrying the bag of jars with the acid inside.

"I'm so happy to see you!" Inuyasha cheered.

"Victory for us! That acid didn't stand a chance against us!" Inuyasha smirked.

"Oh wow, they really did it!" Ginro was surprised to see those guys were actually about to pull it off despite the deadly angel being there.

"Ah. This is so amazing! We can finally make the medicine and save Ruri's life!" Kohaku smiled, feeling tears of joy about to come out.

"We're still a few steps away. You gotta have some patience. You remember that crazy roadmap to the drug, right?" Chrome reminded her of that science roadmap with a deadpan expression.

"But you guys must be close to finish by now, right?" Kagome asked.

"Oh yeah, we're close, all right. We have just about every component that we're gonna need now." Senku informed. Shocking everyone.

"And since most of the materials are in place, it just a matter of lighting up all the dark spots on the roadmap, one by one. Should be pretty easy, actually." Senku said.

"So, why don't we light up all of 'em today? It's time for a little mad chemical cooking class. So, you better get excited!" Senku declared the start of making the medicine.

"He's making that face of a madman. Should we be worried?" Sango asked.

"Don't worry, this guy is A-okay in my book." Inuyasha promised.

"Senku may give off the feeling of someone who doesn't think much about other things around him, but he has the heart of using science for good in helping others including the ones he cares for." Kagome said, feeling that from Senku.

They gather around as Inuyasha gently pours down the sulfuric acid into a bit bowl that is right on top of a burning fire.

"First, we boil the sulfuric acid and add a pinch of salt." Senku started the first step.

"Huh, Senku… What exactly is this glass thing?" Kagome asked, not really sure on what that glass container thing is.

"It looks super weird. It looks like there's a stick in the middle of it." Suika commented.

"I'll admit, it was a challenge to make this even though I had no idea on what it's for, but it was worth it in getting it done!" Sango smirked with a thumbs up.

"It's part of a dripping system. We're catching the gas coming out of the sulfuric acid and salt mixture as it drips." Chrome explained while wearing a mask.

"Hydrochloric acid acquired." Senku said.

"Hydrochloric?" Kohaku and Inuyasha were confused on what that is exactly.

"It's a slightly dangerous chemical. Get this stuff in your eyes and you'll go blind." Senku explained about what this stuff is.

"Next, we take the sinters from the sulfuric acid spring, which some call "flowers of sulfuric", boil 'em, throw 'em into the hydrochloric acid we just made, and…" Senku explained while they are doing the process then the next level of acid is made.

"We have chlorosulfuric acid." Senku smirked a little scary.

"That sounds like it's more dangerous than the last one." Inuyasha commented.

"Totally. It's a super bad chemical. Get this on your skin and you'll turn into a skulking zombie." Senku explained.

"I'm confuse, are we making the medicine or not?" Kagome asked, feeling a bit lost.

"Don't worry, I'm just this is the process of it. I hope." Inuyasha hoped that's the case.

Next scene shows Kinro and Ginro are doing the man-powered generator and Senku touch the tips of the wires with his tongue to feel the tiny electric sting.

"That's good. Smells like a swimming pool." Senku placed the two wires into the chlorosulfuric acid causing it to bubble up a little. "We'll separate the salt water with electricity… And we've acquired sodium hydroxide." He said with a scarier face.

"Soda…?" Kohaku felt a little more confused than ever.

"Hydra…?" Inuyasha is with Kohaku on the confusing part.

"It's an extremely bad chemical. The yakuza use it to melt enemy corpses." Senku mentioned.

"Okay! I think that's enough talking about the scary chemicals in front of the little watermelon child!" Kagome hugged Suika to comfort her from the scary faces Senku has been making.

"Oh, I get it now." Kohaku said, getting the others' attention.

"It makes you blind, turns you into a zombie, and melts your corpse. Is that all?" Kohaku asked with a slightly frightened smile.

"Senku, you're gonna make Ruri drink that?" Kohaku asked with a whole frightened face.

"No one's drinking it! We're just using it to prepare the drug!" Senku pointed out.

"Relax, will ya? All the rest of the chemicals are harmless. Next up is ammonia." Senku said.

"Ammonia? Where are you going to get that?" Kagome asked, can't remember much about this ammonia stuff.

Much to her horror, Kagome got the answer when Senku and Chrome peed into an empty glass jar now realizing what they're talking about.

"Ammonia… acquired." Senku sighed in relief, feeling better on letting it all out now.

"Dude… I think I'm gonna throw up." Inuyasha felt grossed out upon knowing what ammonia is now.

"Do you really think I'm gonna let you force my sister to drink that?" Kohaku asked scarily and anger at the same time.

"She's not drinking it! We just need it to prepare the drug!" Senku assured her that NO ONE is drinking pee.

"So, are we closer now?" Inuyasha asked.

"Oh yeah, we're getting very close to there. We're down to the last three items: Acetic anhydride, sodium bicarbonate, and anillin." Senku answered with a grin.

"Sounds like you're casting some kind of spell." Suika commented.

"Great, so let's get to it on making those three things even though I have no idea on what any of that stuff is." Inuyasha grinned.

"I predicted you'd say that. But we need alcohol to make those. That's the key here. So, if we can get our hands on some booze, we'll have the ultimate cure-all. A powerful sulfa drug." Senku mentioned they will need alcohol to complete their medicine roadmap of science.

"So, let's make us some alcohol then!" Chrome readied to get this done.

"But doesn't making alcohol takes a lot of time to make?" Kagome remembered hearing about how booze is made back in her old era.

"Oh yeah, time and energy. We think we got the energy put with Inuyasha, but it would be safer if we got more people." Senku answered.

"I think we're gonna need a quicker way to get booze without wasting too much time." Sango said, and Kaseki heard this.

"Need booze? Funny you mention it. Because if you were to be victorious in the Grand Bout tomorrow, the village will give you more booze than you could ever hope to finish." Kaseki informed this as a side prize next to marrying Ruri.

"Wait, it's tomorrow? No way!" Chrome gasped in shock that the Grand Bout is tomorrow.

"The timing couldn't be more perfect." Senku looked over to see Ginro and Kinro training again.

"Right. If Kinro or Ginro wins, we'll have alcohol, and then practically nothing can stop us from making Ruri's medicine!" Chrome believed.

"Yeah, our team is gonna win the Grand Bout, even if it kills us." Senku smirked.

"And the chances are going to increase even more with Inuyasha joining the Bout. He's going to wipe the floor with everyone who goes against him!" Kagome cheered.

"Oh yeah, nothing is stopping me now!" Inuyasha shouted.

"In that case, I'll be signing up as well. I've wanting to fight in the Grand Bout, and I am not missing my chance!" Sango smirked.

"Oh! My baby granddaughter's first Grand Bout, if only your grandmother was still alive to see this moment happening!" Kaseki cheered.

"(That Magma guy better watch out because I'm gonna give him the worst bite of his life!)" Inuyasha thought smirked.

(With Kokuyo)

Kokuyo is standing at the doorway of his hut looking over to see his people are preparing for the Grand Bout, knowing this will be his final day as the village chief and offering his daughter Ruri to the winner.

"At last, the time is upon us. Tomorrow, your husband, the new village chief, will be chosen. Are you ready for that?" Kokuyo asked Ruri.

"Yes." Ruri answered.

"Turquoise! Are preparations for the Grand Bout proceeding as planned?" Kokuyo asked the woman.

"Yes." Turquoise answered.

Turquoise is a beautiful woman with shoulder-length glossy black hair, worn slicked back. She has almond-shaped eyes, slightly pointed at the ends from her eyelashes. Her eyebrows are small and very short. She has a small nose and no visible lips. She wears a long, form-fitting, dark blue-green dress with short sleeves and a high collar. She wears the village rope around her neck, including the tasseled section underneath the knot which is tied at the front. Breasts size: E-cup.

"Well, I mean… the preparations are in order, but there is one thing." Turquoise mentioned.

"Why is Kohaku allowed to take part in this again? You need to go and tell her that she can't!" Turquoise said to her fellow guard of the priestess, Jasper.

"Anybody over 14 and unmarried can enter. The sacred rules governing the Grand Bout can't be changed." Jasper reminded her of the rules.

Jasper has mid-length white hair and a small black goatee. He has a long, straight nose and a stern expression. He wears a piece of rope tied around his neck and wears dark green clothes.

"When those rules were written, nobody expected a hard-headed girl to compete!" Kokuyo was upset by this, but maybe he could look at this in another way.

"Ugh. But I suppose we should just let it be. After all, a man who's unable to defeat a woman isn't fit to be the village chief, anyway." Kokuyo hoped there better be a strong man.

But Jasper has another piece of information that Kokuyo is not going to like.

"Chief, there's actually one more small problem. Or two… Yet three more contestants have submitted their names. One of them is Sango, the craftswoman, and the other two are… two outsiders." Jasper informed, regrettable.

"WHAAAAAAAT?!" Kokuyo screamed in shock and anger.

KO a new chapter is done and hope you all enjoy it!

We have arrived at the Grand Bout as the Kingdom of Science are going to try to win in order to get alcohol, they need to make the medicine and save Ruri from being married to Magma. And things are going to be a little different in this Bout than in the anime.
