ESKK: New chapter let's get this started.
(Start Echidna by the river)
Echidna was by the river as she came here looking for her quarry. Her snake was slithering around tasting the air to find the missing target. Nearby she saw the imprints of the White Knights feet on the ground before showing where it sat down and reverted to Aster. Her snake slithered for a bit before it stopped and looked up to his mistress.
"So, you can't trace her scent any further." Echidna said with a cold tone in her voice. She stood up and allowed the snake to return to his normal spot around her waist and over her crotch. "We shouldn't get to discourage they're likely still alive." Echidna said with a smirk on her face. Echidna had gone through a great deal of trouble to keep the Knights existence quiet beyond Claudette.
Once word gets out of these Knights every warrior, lord, and bandit will be gunning for it. Worst of all Echidna suspected that the Queen herself will try to acquire these Knights for her own use. If not for herself Echidna suspected that Aldra would make sure a pactmaker served directly under her. It wasn't her problem but keeping quiet about this for as long as possible was the only way to go.
(Scene Break Amara Ruins desert)
Deep in the Desert in ruins that had been lost to the sands of time a young woman was seen standing at an altar. The ruins themselves were old and ancient as the chamber she was in seemed to be one made for human sacrifice. As the ritual began the woman at the top began to speak.
"Awaken now from your long slumber and be revived in new flesh." The woman said revealing herself to be a dressed in regalia fit for a desert kingdom from ages past. "Then you will be my faithful servant." The woman said as the one on the alter was none other than Leina. Leina's armor had been stripped off and replaced in what could only be described as a slave outfit of the same realm as the young woman standing over her.
Soon enough restless spirits rose up from around the alter and began to enter Leina's body infusing her with their essence. But when nothing happened the woman began to grow concerned over why nothing was happening. "Well, maybe I got something wrong when I cast that enslavement spell." The young woman said with a hum. She was also noted to be holding a staff with a grinning face similar to the ones found around the ruins.
Just then the staff flew towards Leina's form without the young woman holding on. "So, what do you think my lady it's not every day you come across a babe as hot as this." The staff said in a males voice while making his way towards the unconscious Leina. "I found her and her friend on the riverbank." the staff said recalling where he found Leina and Aster. "Even though she was unconscious her face was full of life and her body, forget about it, my tail got so hard." The staff said showing he was a pervert.
"What happened to her friend?" The young woman asked as her staff only came back with Leina.
"He woke up." The staff said with a scowl. "I was taking them both here when he woke up and fought me off, I was force to ditch him and take the babe when he tried to take her back." The staff said as he recalled how much of a punch that warrior was packing. "I got no clue where he is now." The staff said hoping it would be the last he sees of him.
"Oh, I'm certain he will appear again." The woman said not at all bothered with the failure. "If he fought as hard as you claimed he will undoubtedly come looking for her." She said seeing this as a chance to have a powerful warrior in her service.
"Issues with recruitments?" A new voice spoke up. Looking to the source the duo saw a pile of slime had appeared before it rose up and formed into Melona. She approached the scene with the same air she carried from before. "Hello there Menace." Melona said while making her way towards the woman now known as Menace.
"Ah Melona, how are you?" Menace asked with her own greeting as the staff hovered near her.
"What the hell do you want with us this time?" The staff asked showing he was not exactly happy for Melona to be here likely from a small scuffle they had prior.
"Save it you pervert." Melona snapped just as she got to the Alter itself and saw who was laying on it. "It's her, this is the whiny bitch who helped blow me apart. The little wench." Melona said as she got ready to strangle Leina to death. But when Melona's hand got close enough, she was repelled which caused her pain and pushed her back with a gasp.
"Careful its best not to touch her we're in the middle of an enslavement ritual Its powerful stuff." Menace said warning Melona a bit too late.
"We wouldn't want you getting hurt." The staff said with a smug tone in his voice and a chuckle.
"Menace I don't need to remind you that the only reason your able to do this is because the Swamp Witch resurrected you." Melona said reminding Menace of who she was to serve.
"The only resurrection I care about is bringing back the Kingdom of Amara." Menace said with a stern tone and a glare towards Melona. "For me that is my mission." She said while refocusing her gaze towards Leina.
"Please, who cares about the whatever kingdom." Melona said not caring what Menace wanted to do. "It perished once right, let it go." Melona added before she broke her body apart. The slime girl then shifted to a new form which struck a memory for Menace. "Isn't this the woman that betrayed you?" Melona taunted Menace which caused the ancient royal to react.
Melona soon found one of Menace's sashed sharpened like a blade pointed at her neck. "If you take that form in front of me again your life will be forfeit." Menace threatened with a cold glare at Melona.
"Uh yeah sure no problem." Melona said with a nervous tone in her voice. "I'm leaving now bye." Melona said as she broke her body down and oozed away from the scene.
Just then the staff moved towards Menace as he felt the ritual had reached its completion. "My lady it looks like the time has come." The staff said and thus Menace was smiling once more.
Thank goodness her birth is finally at hand." Menace said with her eyes on the sleeping Leina. "Greetings my new servant it's time to awaken." Menace said and in turn Leina's eyes opened to reveal dull and emptiness within them. These were the eyes of one who was no longer in control of their own bodies one who was locked in a forced trance.
"Impressive display of magic." Came a new voice which caught Menace and her staff by surprise.
Looking to the source they saw Galvus was entering the room having switch out his magic caster armor with armor that was the polar opposite of Aster's Athwani armor. This was the Yshrennian armor set with the only difference that unlike Aster's white armor his was a darker bronze color.
"Who are you how did you get in here?" Menace asked glaring at the new arrival.
"How I got in here?" Galvus asked with a bored tone and a raised brow. "I entered that is all." He responded ever calmly.
Regaining herself Menace calmed her face and looked to the arrival kindly. "So, are you here to offer yourself to me as a faithful servant?" Menace asked but this caused Galvus to chuckled.
"Me a servant? Hardly." He said before glaring directly at Menace. "I'm here to make you into my servant." Galvus said aloud making Menace go wide eyed before glaring at Galvus. "I overheard your intentions, a noble goal to resurrect your desert kingdom however your current method is ineffective." Galvus said as Menace glared at him. "Enslavement magic has limits and even then, you can't create a kingdom from ruins you need resources food, building materials, and much more." Galvus said detailing what Menace lacked. "Furthermore, you will need an infrastructure to better organize the day-to-day businesses and the need to negotiate trade deals with foreign powers." Galvus listed off showing what Menace lacked.
"Where are you going this this?" Menace asked glaring at the man who just announced his intent to make her his servant.
"We can help each other out." Galvus said as he looked to Menace. "I need someone who has experience leading a country and my spies have informed me that you may have such experience." Galvus said making his intentions all the clearer.
"And all you ask in return is my subservience?" Menace asked glaring at Galvus.
"Yes... after all I have something you don't." Galvus said as he revealed a mask in his hand and held it close to his face with a smirk ready to put it on. For some reason Menace felt the air shift and from there began to grow concerned. She barely caught a chant being said and from it a single word to end it.
"VERTO."
(Scene Break over with Claudette)
Claudette stood by the river as she saw the running water flowing through. The current of the river Leina had fallen into lead this way but they had yet to find either Leina or her remains. Just then a messenger rode up behind Claudette as she looked down towards the flowing water.
"On orders of the count you are to return home at once." The Messenger said with a stern tone in her voice. But when Claudette did not response beyond silence the messenger grew concerned for her. "General?" The Messenger asked worried that Claudette may be unwell.
"Leina." Claudette said with a sad tone in her voice.
(With Elina the Vance Estate)
Elina was in tears as she sat on the ground of a now destroyed room where she kept her shrine portraits of Leina. As far as Elina knew Leina was dead and it filled her with sorrow. "Leina there was so much more I was looking forward to sharing with you." Elina said between her sobs. "Like snuggling each other to sleep and sharing a luxurious bath." Elina said which was odd since she did that with Leina anyway when she was here.
(Scene break the desert Aster)
Aster was seen making his way through the desert. He had been caught off guard by that staff creature when it tried to take him and Leina. It was his own fault for not being aware of his surroundings and it had caused him. Aster put up a fight and the thing was forced to drop him and make off with Leina before losing him in the desert. Aster suspected with the magics involved he may be close to the being destination and was making his way to where it called home.
The creature in question was an odd design like a parody of Egyptian design. This gave him a rough idea where to look but all Aster could do is search aimlessly through the desert until he found Leina. Cursing his luck Aster kept moving hoping he'd find Leina soon because the desert was cruel in day and in night.
(Back at the Amara Pyramid)
"Now my devoted servant, I order you in the name of menace, princess of Amara," Menace said while she was giving an order to Leina, as showing inside the ruins, Menace is on the Alter laying on her back, as Leina gives her an oil massage of her inner leg thigh.
"Hmm, just go a little lower please," Menace said as Leina said in an obedient way with a slight angrily tone, "Yes Mistress."
"Hm?" Menace said as she hear what Leina said with that tone, but when Leina did what she was told, she brush it off as nothing and started to moan to Leina's touch.
"Oh yes, that the spot," Menace said happily as Leina keep on going as Leina gave a bit of a frown.
"Yes, I'm sure it is milady, but aren't you forgetting about something important?" The staff said to his mistress as she just moan to the massage as she said, "My first oil massage in thousand years is pretty compelling."
"Ladies got a point. Well, I tired. Huh?" The staff said as he sense something was off, as Menace notice this and said, "What is it Setra?"
"Looks like we have approaching visitors," Setra said as both Menace and the staff looked at a viewing waterfall as they saw Dilan, Tomoe, and Shizuka as they were heading in their general direction.
Menace looked at them and said, "What strange clothing they wear."
Setra looked at the waterfall as well as he said, "Hm, from the look of it." Setra started off as he looked at Tomoe as he said, "This one is the sweet and tidy type. She can't fool me; I know there's a body just waiting to be free from under all that red cloth." Sounded perverted at the end of that before he switch to Shizuka.
"On the other hand, this one show off her alabaster skin, but I like to alabaster HER! YEAH, she playful," Setra said even sounded more perverted as he talk about her then switch to Dilan.
"And this guy, he may not be a hot babe but he's a handsome one, in a way I feel pretty jealous of," Setra said as he looked at Dilan as a guy like his with two beautiful girls, as then Setra look back at him and said, "But something is strange about him, I can't put my finger on."
"What is it?" Menace asked as she looked to her faithful staff as he went on saying, "I don't know, sort of remind me of that one guy I try to bring from before."
"That because he's one of his allies," Galvus said as he appear near them and stood by the alter as he looks at the waterfall images as Menace look to him and asked, "So do you know these warriors then, friends of your perhaps?"
"Not really, but I do recognize him. He one of the strongest warriors from where I'm from, and I couldn't help but overhear that you say that you try to bring the male with this woman?" Galvus question as he look to Leina who was still fighting the enslavement spell which Galvus is impressed that a normal girl like her can do as he turn back looking at Setra as the floating staff said, "Yeah, but he keep fighting me, so I had to drop him."
"Interesting so that mean he could be near here by now. Is there anyways to see him right now?" Galvus question as Setra said to him, "Ah sure, let me see really quick."
Not wanting to argue or complain against a powerful guy who could turn him to ash if he wishes, as Setra looked around for Aster until he found him as he said, "Ah here he is, and he is just as good looking as that other guy I guess, and nothing say knight in shining armor hu?"
"He's look so beautiful and handsome," Menace said as he looked at Aster as she went on saying, "He could be the most powerful slave I could have."
"I wouldn't count on it as like me, he too possess a knight as well, and you enslavement spell may not even affect him at all even if you tried," Galvus said as he look to Aster and smile a bit as he thought to himself, 'I finally found you, Aster the ivory knight.'
Menace knew that there was only one thing she can do to get a good measure of her possible servants. She needed to test their abilities to see if they were worth enslaving. But from what Galvus said about Aster he might be a formidable servant to have. Perhaps he may serve her well as an enforcer to prevent any future traitors or even a General to lead her armies.
(Meanwhile over with Dilan's group)
"Goddammit I got sand in my mouth!" Dilan bemoaned as he shielded himself from the sandstorm with Tomoe and Shizuka.
"I think we're reaching the end of it." Shizuka said as she followed while keeping Tomoe close and staying close to Dilan.
The moment Shizuka said that the storm vanished and from it they arrived at what appeared to be ruins. Investigating the scene Dilan gave it a small look before Tomoe spoke. "Do you think this could be the Queen's Capital?" Tomoe asked curious to see if their journey was over.
"I'm going to go with a hard ass no." Dilan said as that had to be the dumbest thing to ask right now. "I mean its ruins if Gainos had fallen we'd have known about it." Dilan added which meant this was not their destination.
"So that means no drinking water?" Shizuka asked which Dilan nodded.
"Probably not." Dilan confirmed as he took the lead.
"Dammit." Shizuka cursed realizing they would need to keep going without water for a little bit longer. She then bemoaned as she fell to her knees not able to go a step further. "I can't go any further." Shizuka bemoaned as she didn't want to go another step.
"Shizuka we're out of water but we need to keep going." Dilan said making it clear as to what needs to happen. "If we don't wear dead, at least if we keep going, we have a chance." Dilan explained with facts to the Kunoichi.
"He's right giving up is not an option." Tomoe said in agreement with Dilan.
"Please let it rain, just a little rain." Shizuka said hoping for a miracle to make it rain.
"Your delirious with thirst, if that was all it took to rain then we wouldn't." Tomoe began when all of a sudden, dark clouds began to form above them causing the group to get nervous.
"That does not look good." Dilan said feeling there was more at work here.
As the clouds began to cover the sky Tomoe was on edge sensing something dark afoot. "Be careful I sense a wicked presence here." Tomoe said ready to fight. Then the winds began causing the trio to shield themselves from it.
"Ok inside the ruins now!" Dilan called out but then Shizuka was heard yelling in shock.
Looking to the source, Dilan and Tomoe saw that Shizuka was being swept away by the sand. "Shizuka no/SHIT!" Tomoe and Dilan both cried out as the winds got stronger.
(Meanwhile nearby with the angels)
Marianne and Nanael were flying over the desert as Nanael was still nursing her bruised head. "Jeez did you have to hit me so hard?" Nanael asked as she looked to Marianne who flew with Nanael but laid on her back as she flew all relax with hands behind her head.
"Well, if you didn't try to rig a match I wouldn't have had too." Marianne said as she was oddly calm about everything. "At the very least when the head angel finds out you won't be in as much trouble if your plan succeeded." Marianne said as Nanael glared at the Angel.
"For an Angel you are a force of chaos." Nanael said causing Marianne to give off her infamous mischievous laugh. "Well, you lost Aster and Leina so I'm free of blame." Nanael said but then Marianne had a counter for that.
"Actually, their lost because of your rigged match." Marianne said raising a finger to make her point. "Your still to blame." Marianne added as Nanael glared.
"Why you." Nanael began only to stop. Looking to the source Marianne joined and thus the pair saw that a familiar face had arrived.
(Back with Dilan and Tomoe)
Just then Tomoe sensed a new presence causing her to react. "Whose there?!" Tomoe demanded looking to the source. Looking upward the pair saw atop the ruined temple was none other than Leina as she gave off an aura.
"Wait a minute isn't that Leina over there?" Dilan asked recognizing her from the last fight. "If she's here then where is Aster?" Dilan asked as he saw the wandering warrior above them.
"The Aura she has." Tomoe began as she took note of it. "It's the same as the sandstorm." Tomoe said and in turn this might be trouble for them.
"Kneel before the power of Amara if you wish to live." Leina said in a monotone voice showing she was not in control of her actions. She drew her sword and was ready for a fight.
(Back with Nanael and Marianne)
"Hey that's Leina she's still alive!" Nanael said as she saw what was about to happen. "This definitely looks like a Queens Blade Match to me!" Nanael said excited to fix her blunder. "What luck, this is sure to be a great GAUGH!" Nanael was caught off when Marianne snagged Nanael's panties and launched her away taking said panties with.
"Not today!" Marianne said as she then flew on ahead as Nanael was left headfirst in the sand revealing what Marianne did.
Getting back up Nanael got up and saw her panties were missing before pulling her dress down to cover herself. "You bitch!" Nanael yelled and thus gave chase to reclaim her stolen undergarment. As Marianne flew on ahead, she looked nearby and saw another familiar figure making his way through the sand.
(Back over to the battle)
A battle had broken out as Tomoe and Dilan fought back against Leina. Thankfully the two vs one battle gave an advantage to Dilan and Tomoe seeing as something was very wrong with Leina. "Kneel before the power of Amara if you wish to live." Leina ordered before she then went on the attack against them. A wall was destroyed by Leina's sudden burst of strength as she had knocked Tomoe through the wall.
"Tomoe!" Dilan cried out in shock and concern for Tomoe.
Tomoe came too as she soon began to come in for the attack on her person by Leina. However, before Leina could land, Leina was suddenly blocked by the Shield known as Avalon. Leina was then knocked back by a new arrival delivering a powerful kick to the woman's midsection. Tomoe was shocked by this but then saw the new warrior look towards her.
"Go. Get to cover." Aster said and thus nodding Tomoe ran to find cover. Once Tomoe was gone Aster directed his attention over to Leina and saw the aura she gave off and her eyes. 'Enslavement spell didn't think such things would exist here.' Aster thought trying to come up with a plan to get Leina freed.
"Aster!" Dilan was heard and thus Aster looked to see Dilan coming in for the attack. Leina saw this and moved out of the way allowing the two pactmakers to regroup.
"Dilan I've been wondering what you've been up too." Aster said as he saw Leina getting back up.
"Got launched to the other side of the planet when a certain Angel decided it would be fun to play a prank." Dilan said with promise to strangle this angel when he sees her. Just then the two dodged another attack from Leina as it became clear she was not in control of herself. The two were ready to fight and knew they had to act smart if they wanted to free Leina without hurting her too much.
(With Tomoe, Nanael, and Marianne)
"So, your also in the Queen's Blade?" Marianne asked as Nanael was putting her stolen panties back on.
"Yes, I am." Tomoe said in confirmation. "My name is Tomoe I am a Warrior Priestess." Tomoe said introducing herself.
"Dammit, if those two men weren't here, I can host a Queen's Blade Match." Nanael bemoaned as she saw that she was not going to be able to do much.
"ANGEL CHOP!" Marianne called out delivering a karate chop on Nanael's head causing a cry of pain from the angel.
"WHY?!" Nanael bemoaned as a new bump formed on her head.
"Because you're a nitwit, as a Queen's blade match can only happen when one invoke the challenge, forcing a match especially when one of said fighters is being enslave by a powerful magic spell will put mark on your duty as an angel, as your lucky I took over your last match or else you would have one already as clearly you were rigging the match to happen instead of letting happen naturally," Marianne said as she then turn to Tomoe and said to her, "Anyways I think its best we leave it to the boys to hold her off so we can find the one who's enslaving Leina."
"Right, can you find where the evil energy had originated?" Tomoe question the angel as she shake her head no, as she said, "Sorry not within my power, I do a lot of thing but sensing out energy isn't my specialty."
"Then I suppose we'll have to do it on our own then," Tomoe said as she, and the two angel went off deeper in the ruins.
-meanwhile-
With Aster and Dilan were holding off Leina as they parry and block her attack while trying not to hurt her as they know it not her that's fighting them but someone who is controlling her as Dilan blocked a strike with his spear and said, "Hey, can you just freeze her in place or something?"
"Without killing her. You're basically asking me to step on a Lego bare footed and not be in pain from it," Aster said as he could freeze Leina but he knew the effect might kill her, and if he were to freeze her arms or legs may just cause her to get extreme froze bite, which can be fatal as well, and he wasn't about to do that to her as he block a strike from Leina with his shield as Aster went on saying, "Come on Leina, I know your being control but you got to fight it."
"Bow d-down to power of Amana," Leina said as it seem she was fighting it, but she was having a hard time doing it as Dilan basically came at her quickly and shove her away and said, "come on, let just run!"
"Fine," Aster said Dilan took off first, with Aster about to follow him until he look back to Leina who was slowly getting back up as he said to her, "Don't worry Leina we'll find whoever did this to you and free you, I swear it."
After that Aster follow after Dilan going deep within the ruins as well, as they come across traps that shot out spears, drop huge pillars above them, and of course the classic giant rolling bolder that came their way, but instead of running away they attacked it, breaking the bolder before continuing their way through the ruins as Dilan said, "So got any idea of where we are going?"
"Nope, but thanks to Marianne, she gave me a mini map that fills out the area we have been too, if we stuck, we could back track to a previous area and find another path," Aster said as he was glad to have meet up with Marianne before he headed into the ruins.
(Flashback earlier)
"What's up with this storm?" Aster said as he came across the same dark windstorm that Dilan, Tomoe, and Shizuka came across as he headed to the ruin to take cover in, but before he did, he heard someone call out, "Aster!"
"Hu, Marianne?" Aster said as he look to the angel as he was a bit glad to see her, but soon got annoyed as he saw the other angel too as he said while pointing at Nanael, "What are you doing here?"
"Don't worry about her at the moment, she's with me," Marianne said as Aster soon point out to the dark clouds and said, "Fine, but do you know what's up with this storm?"
"Dark magic pretty much, but there something more important thing than that at the moment. Leina is in trouble," Marianne said as Aster eyes widen and said, "What happen to Leina?"
"She being mind control by the same person who conquered up this storm and she's attacking Dilan and his group," Marianne explain as Aster look to the ruins and said, "Where is she right now?"
"In the ruins, you could catch up to them if you go now," Marianne said as Aster said, "Great, one problem I have no way to navigate this place, without a map I maybe running in blind."
"I don't have a map, but I can do you something better just think of mini maps," Marianne said as Aster blink for a moment as he did so and a map of the area, he's in is shown as Aster said, "A map generator?"
"Yep, so even if you get stuck somewhere you won't get lost at least, I included this function when I brought you here and it could help detect enemies as well," Marianne said with a smile while giving a piece sigh as Aster lean in and kiss Marianne on the cheek saying, "You are a life saver, thank Marianne!"
After that Aster went off to help Dilan and save Leina somehow as Marianne smile to this as she rub her cheek where she was kiss with Nanael looking a bit jealous at her as she wanted a kiss from a hot guy.
(flashback end)
"A Map generator must be cool to have one. Maybe later once we get through this, maybe we can use it to find secret treasure rooms or something," Dilan said as Aster roll his eyes a bit as he said, "Just because our powers and abilities are game base does not mean everything else is, and beside Leina and I are trying to reach the Queens Capital and meet up with a friend there."
"A friend eh, is she hot?" Dilan asked suddenly as the dup were running through traps at the moment as a massive bolder was rolling in from behind them as Aster said, "Is this really the time to ask that?"
"Yeah, you're right," Dilan said as both guys jump up suddenly as the bolder roll under them before they came back down as Dilan said, "But speaking of friends, I wonder what happen to Tomoe and Shizuka?"
(Tomoe)
The warrior priestess and the two angels were running as fast as they can to avoid the traps they were coming across before ending up in a similar situation that Dilan and Aster were in as a huge bolder rolled down from a platform, with Tomoe acted quickly as she bright Nanael with her into a small opening in the wall with Marianne flew high to avoid is.
"I an't beed!" Nanael voice out as her word were muffle by Tomoe chest as the warrior priestess said, "It's too cramp for you to move in here Angel."
"Yeah, but I'm suffocating because your boobs are certainly huge," Nanael said as she was wiggling her face out with Tomoe's face blushes a bit as Tomoe said to her, "Sorry about that."
Nanael got her face out from Tomoe's chest and started breathing again as Marianne had the moment recorded with her power as she said, "Angel and a priestess how naughty."
"Hey, shut up, and stop doing what you're doing!" Nanael said as she knew Marianne was doing something perverted or of the like as Marianne just stick out her tongue a bit before helping the pair out of the small space as Nanael question her fellow angel, "How did you avoid the huge rocks?"
"I flew over them, given this hallways is pretty tall," Marianne said as if it was the obvious thing to do as the trio walk down the hall where the boulders came from, hoping to find the one controlling Leina with Tomoe hopes to find Shizuka as well.
"Watch your step, there's enough traps enough that would make Fred blush," Marianne said making a Scooby doo references as Nanael suddenly asked, "Who the heck is Fred?
Tomoe was distracted for a moment as wonder why this Fred person was as well, as she then step on a pressure trap, which cause hundreds of spears pop up from before and almost skewers them, with Nanael fly high as she could, almost pin by said spears as she yells out, "Save me."
Marianne was thankful that she got Tomoe and herself to safety as they were before the spears as Marianne said, "Now what did I just say?"
A little later as Marianne got Nanael out from the spears, the trio ended up in a large room which didn't seem to have any traps, or so they thought as soon they walk into the middle of the room, they suddenly heard a loud sound from somewhere as Nanael question, "What's that?"
"Sound like running water," Marianne said as soon after she said it, water from above started rushing in with the doors into the room suddenly sealed up by sandstone dropping down and block the exits while also helping fill up the room faster as Tomoe said, "It's a prison of water."
"Well, this certainly complicates things." Marianne said as she looked around trying to find a way out for all of them.
Just then Nanael flew upward and in turn found a passage out which was where the water came from. "Hey, I found a way out!" Nanael called as she was high above the group. "All we have to do is go this way!" Nanael said before she noticed one issue with this. "Oh no you can't fly, and I bet you can't hear me either." Nanael said as she saw Marianne with Tomoe. "I hate to do it, but I have no choice I have to leave her." Nanael said as she got ready to make her escape only to find Marianne floating there.
"Going somewhere?" Marianne asked with her arms crossed while glaring at Nanael.
"What?!" Nanael asked as she looked back and forth to where Marianne had been and to where she as now. "How did you move so fast?!" Nanael asked as she looked to Marianne in shock.
"You're going to help her escape, or the head angel is going to find out." Marianne said with promise that she will in fact tell the Head Angel what Nanael did.
"Ok get in trouble with the head angel... or risk drowning to help Tomoe." Nanael said as she was now a rock in a hard place. "Sorry." Nanael said and thus tried to fly away.
"ANGEL CHOP!" Marianne called out and delivered a powerful karate chop atop Nanael's head causing the angel with asymmetrical wings to cry out in pain.
Later back down with Tomoe Marianne and Nanael returned with Nanael sporting a bump on her head. "How can I help?" Nanael asked sounding like she didn't want to, but Marianne was forcing it out of her.
(Meanwhile over with Menace)
Menace and Galvus both watched the waterfall as it displayed things going on with Tomoe. Needless to say, Menace was impressed but Galvus was not so much for his part. "I'm impressed that lady in red has a lot of courage." Menace said as she observed the scene. "Don't you." She began only to find Setra was not there. "Setra where have you gone off to?" Menace asked as she began to crawl around to look for her missing servant.
Just then Galvus sighed and began to walk off. Menace saw this and grew curious if not suspicious of him. "Where are you going?" Menace asked as she saw Galvus leave.
"To face them myself." Galvus said with a plain tone while walking away. Menace stood there shocked and confused as she began to wonder if she will see a clash of Knight. Needless to say, she began to grow a bit excited over the prospects of making all three Knights her Servants.
(Meanwhile with Setra another chamber)
Shizuka was found in a pile of sand that had drained into some water. She was unconscious as she laid there with a bit of her areola exposed from her position. Setra was currently hovering around the scene as he knew Shizuka had landed here. He knew his mistress wanted Shizuka as one of her Servants, but nothing said he couldn't have a bit of fun with her.
"What a shame I can't let this go to waist." The perverted staff said as he ogled Shizuka with unsavory thoughts going through what he had for a mind. "You got way to much fun in you to let you die." Setra said as Shizuka began to stir a bit. "That's why I'm going to make an exception so I can make the most of what you got." He said with a perverted giggle just as Shizuka was awakening from her unprompted slumber.
Just then Shizuka launched herself out of the sand and water causing Setra to panic a bit. She took a battle stance as she glared at the hovering staff. "You must be some kind of Specter." Shizuka said accusingly while glaring at the enemy before her.
"Yeah, sure but I'm going to do more than spectate lady I'm going to take a taste." Setra said as he wrapped his tail around Shizuka's body. Just then he began to lick Shizuka causing the Kunoichi to cringe in displeasure from the unwanted touching.
(Meanwhile with Aster and Dilan)
The two warriors stopped for a moment as they saw they were in a larger room. The room was filled with bridges all over the place. The pair were on one such bridge as they tried to figure out where exactly they were. "Hey Aster, idea, why don't we just use our Knights to bust down all the walls?" Dilan offered but Aster had reason for them NOT to do that.
"Because if we do that, we'll likely bring the entire place down on us." Aster said knowing that if they took down a support the entire pyramid would come falling down on them.
"Well, the longer we take the more likely the girls will be in danger." Dilan said as he looked around for a way out.
"I know." Aster said with a tired tone in his voice. "Just give me a second to think." Aster said only to be stopped by the sound of movement from nearby. Looking to the source the pair saw Leina was standing before them as they drew their weapons for battle. They saw the dull look in her eyes, it was clear that she was still under the enslavement spell.
"Of course, from bad to worse." Dilan said as he knew they had to hold back. "Hate to say it but we're going to have to blast through your girlfriend." Dilan said causing Aster to glare at his friend for that last one.
(At the same time Tomoe)
Tomoe was under the water as Marianne and Nanael looked at the scene with concern. "Well, this is just great! Are you happy now perfect little Marianne!?" Nanael ranted as she glared at Marianne for this. "Thanks to you, we've lost a Queens Blade competitor and we're about to drown all because you want to save people!" Nanael ranted as she did not want to drown. "If we hurry, we might be able to get out of here and..." Nanael began just before a powerful glow began to shine from under the water.
Under the water Tomoe closes eyes snapped open as she reached back and drew her divine sword. She then held the weapon at the ready before charging towards the stone walls with it. She then stepped into the wall causing the divine energy to surge into the wall as seen from the creeses of the stones position upon each other. This caused the wall to blast apart freeing Tomoe as the water began to drain out of the prison of water.
The two angels saw this and both let out sighs of relief as the problem just solved itself. "See perfectly fine." Marianne said while trying to hide the fact of how worried she was over what had just happened.
"Well, that was impressive." Nanael said with a smile on her face. "Warrior Priestess Tomoe. Better remember you, you're going to be a contender." Nanael said as she then flew down after her. Marianne rolled her eyes to this before flying after Nanael just grateful that they were finally making some progress.
(Back with Aster and Dilan)
Aster and Dilan saw how water was draining from somewhere as it split over the bridge. Hearing someone screaming Dilan sheathed his weapon and had his arms out for a moment which confused Aster. The reason why became clear when all of a sudden Tomoe fell and landed in Dilan's arms much to Aster's surprise.
"Holy cow, how did you know what would work?" Aster asked shocked over what he had just seen.
"That's the fun part... I didn't." Dilan admitted with a cocky smile on his face causing a sweat drop from Aster. "You ok Tomoe?" Dilan asked as he looked to Tomoe.
"I'll be fine." Tomoe said before Aster cut in and held his weapons at the ready against Leina.
"Leina, you have to fight whatever has a grip on your mind." Aster said trying to get Leina to hear him out. At the same time Dilan put Tomoe down as they heard what Aster was saying to Leina. "You are the Wondering Warrior Leina remember your pride as a warrior." Aster said trying to get Leina to listen to him. For a moment Leina seemed to fight it as that was all Aster needed as a sign to know that Leina was still in there fighting.
"Would you please stop with that idle talk." Came the voice of Menace as the trio looked and saw Menace appear from the hall behind Leina. "If you continue talking to her like that my servant won't know who she is." Menace said causing the eyes to glare at Menace realizing she was the one to cast the enslavement spell.
"You finally reveal yourself." Tomoe said while glaring at Menace. "You're the Specter." She finished as the group was ready for a fight.
"What do you mean the Specter?" Menace asked sound offended to be referred to as such. "You speak to the Princess of the Legendary Kingdom of Amara; my name is Menace" Menace introduced herself to the trio before her.
"Uh isn't Amara a pile of ruins?" Dilan asked causing Aster to glare at him for that one. "Just saying she's look good for someone is supposed to be you know dead." Dilan said as now Menace was glaring at Dilan.
"Dilan for your own sake... shut up before you piehole gets us all killed." Aster said wondering why Dilan doesn't use the filter in his brain.
"Just saying." Dilan shrugged as he looked to the group.
(Meanwhile with Shizuka and Serta)
After Shizuka managed to free herself from the perverted staffs grip the two were exploring the carvings on the walls. If Dilan or Aster were here, they would compare it to the carvings found in Egyptian tombs back on their world. "The Kingdom of Amara?" Shizuka asked while holding a torch as Setra was telling Shizuka the same story or a similar one to the one Menace was telling the heroes.
"Yes, once it flourished in this land, but it perished." Setra said with a solemn tone in his voice. The magical sentient staff was likely homesick for the kingdom of his mistress. "I'm surprised there are any historical Amara drawings left to be found here." Setra said honestly surprised that there was anything left at all.
"Tell me kitty can you read them?" Shizuka asked noting how Setra looked similar to a cat.
"Of course, I can!" Setra snapped as he glared at Shizuka for that one. "And just for the record I'm not a kitty I'm a living scepter you got that." Setra said glaring at the kunoichi before him.
"Come on purr for me." Shizuka said scratching Setra under his chin. The staff in response purred sounding every bit the cat he claimed that he was not. Once Shizuka was done she got down to asking her questions. "So, tell me what that thing says." Shizuka said feeling that the information here may be of valuable use for her.
"It's a story that's about a thousand years old." Setra revealed as he began to tell the story of his mistress and how her world fell around her. "My mistress Princess Menace was destined to inherit the throne." Setra said as he recalled those bygone days. "She lived a life of luxury." He added as he remembered one of Menace's servants who tended to Menace and all of her needs. "Those were days filled with pleasure and satisfaction." He said knowing how happy Menace used to be back then.
"But tragically Amara was conquered by an enemy nation thanks to the betrayal of Anerista, her most trusted court attendant." Setra said as Shizuka could practically picture it and could see the truth hidden in what Setra was saying especially the part he did not share. "The Kingdom fell apart and the princess suffered an untimely death." Setra said recalling those final days and how Amara collapsed that day.
(Back over with Aster's group)
"After thousands of years I was resurrected and my sole reason for being was to bring Amara back with me." Menace said as she faced the group before her. "So please join me and become another one of my obedient servants. I will grant you the honor of restoring this kingdom until your body rots away." Menace said as she faced the group. The Knights power was before her in the form of two Knights. If she had those Knights, then Amara would never again fear any invaders with giants of steel and magic standing sentinel over the kingdom.
"That has to be... the dumbest pitch I have ever heard." Aster said shocking Amara.
"Yeah, lady I've heard better pitches from swindlers." Dilan said as he looked at her.
"What?" Amara asked glaring at the two Pactmakers.
"So, your closest attendant betrayed you for no reason like she was glad to be a slave?" Dilan asked with a rhetorical tone. "Bullshit a mile away it wasn't just a coup it was a revolution." Dilan said glaring at Amara.
"Foreign Invaders are just one ingredient to make a kingdom fall." Aster said knowing how history works. "The rest happens inside the boarders." Aster said which served to anger Menace with each word.
"Those who don't serve me lose my favor." Menace said but then a new voice cut in.
"On the contrary they speak the truth." Galvus was heard and thus he entered the scene shocking the Pactmakers with his armor.
"You?!" Menace asked shocked to see Galvus here.
"I had come here seeking an experienced and veteran ruler." He said walking into the bridge. "Instead, I find a spoiled child who lead her kingdom to fall all because she was too focused on her personal pleasures instead of her responsibilities." Galvus said making it clear he saw right through Menace. His hands then glared as he walked by the group, and he hovered it over Leina who then fell over much to the groups shock.
"Leina!" Aster called as he caught her in his arms. When she was caught the spirits that made a host in Leina were exorcised from her body.
"My servant how dare you!?" Menace yelled and sent a sash at Galvus who let it wrap around him. Galvus was not affected as he then flared his magic causing the sash to be torn off his body.
"Pathetic." Galvus said as he glared at Menace. "If I am to rule this world, I must be careful in whom I ally myself with." Galvus said as he glared at Menace.
"Rule this world?" Aster asked as he glared at Galvus.
"Of course, surely you've seen just reason to do so." Galvus said as Aster and Dilan glared at him. "Allow me to educate you Menace a ruler of any kind must be strict yet lenient." Galvus said explaining the truth. "He must inspire loyalty and instill fear against treachery." Galvus said explaining how things work. "They must keep their vassals and nobles in check while also giving them no reason to desire to usurp your rule." Galvus said giving the truth to Menace and in turn glared at her.
"You dare lecture me on how kingdoms are run?" Menace asked accusingly to Galvus. "You will all bow down!" She roared and in turn Galvus summoned forth his staff and proceeded to deflect her sash blades with it. He then followed it up with a fire spell that when used caused a minor explosion sending Menace back. Menace got back up and glared at Galvus.
"Allow me to educate." Galvus said and in turn he summoned his Ark.
"Wait that's mask!" Dilan called out recognizing it on the spot.
"O Adolmaea, shining sovereign, supreme light of the ancient skies. Grant me your power." Galvus began as he hovered the mask over his face with said mask held in his right hand. "Verto." Galvus finished and in turn he placed the mask over his face. The crest shined and with it the transformation began.
Spreading his arms out fires formed around Galvus as soon the crest opened to become more like that of a crown. Flames as hot as the sun burst out around him as from the flames an armor of gold rose from behind him. Everyone was wide eyed by this as the entire temple began to shake from the raw power emanating from the most powerful of the five knights. Soon Knight and pactmaker became one as the Sun King had taken the stage.
Standing over them the Sun King drew his glaive as the fires still burned from his armor before being absorbed by it. "Such power?!" Tomoe gasped as she had never sensed something so powerful and divine yet so evil.
Even Menace who had seen this Knight before was intimidated. Just then the bridge broke apart in the part that Aster and Leina were on. "Aster!" Dilan called out as he saw his friend and Leina fall to the abyss bellow.
"Pity." Galvus said through the Sun King when he saw this. "No matter if I know him, he will undoubtedly survive but until then." Galvus said directing his attention to Menace. "Let's deal with you." Galvus said and thus Menace knew she was in trouble. So, getting on her feet she ran away causing Galvus to chuckle. "Why must they run?" He mused before he went after her by breaking through the walls knowing exactly where they were going.
"Come on." Dilan said knowing they had to stop him.
(Later in the Throne Room)
Menace ran into her inner chamber in a panic hoping to find the hidden path to escape. She didn't know how long she had but she knew it would not be long. But before she could get far the wall was blasted open by an intense heat that left melted stone in its wake. The source of it was the Sun King who stood there with his hand stretched out.
"Did you honestly think you can get away?" Galvus said while entering the room. "The lesson is not over." Galvus said making it clear that he was far from finished.
"Not if I got something to say." Dilan was heard and soon a flash of violet light was seen followed up by the charging Dragon Knight. Galvus smirked and blocked the attack with ease causing the ground behind him to break apart.
"Was that supposed to do something?" Galvus asked as Dilan was given a reminder that lore was a thing and the Sun King according to it was the most powerful of the Knights and impervious to all matter of attack.
"Uh kind of yeah." Dilan said with a slightly nervous tone in his voice.
Galvus smirked and then managed to blast back the Dragon Knight away from him. The Dragon Knight hit the wall with a hard slam causing the chamber to shake.
"Dilan!" Tomoe called out as she was about to get involved.
"No Tomoe stay back!" Dilan warned knowing this was beyond Tomoe's power.
"I'd do what he says." Galvus said to the Priestess. "Especially if wish to make it to the queen's capital." Galvus added as he approached the Dragon Knight.
Just then small explosives were thrown at the Sun Kings face and in turn blinded him. Landing on the Dragon Knights shoulder Shizuka appeared as she had her Ningato drawn ready for battle. "You, ok?" Tomoe asked as she looked at the Dragon Knights head.
"Yeah, but I'm worried you might have." Dilan began only to yell in shock when he saw a large fireball coming his way. Grabbing Tomoe, the Dragon Knight moved and dodged the attack. From the smoke the Sun King stepped out showing he was completely unharmed by Shizuka's attack.
"I hardly felt that." Galvus taunted as he looked to the group. "Why are you three trying to save her anyway?" Galvus asked to the trio before him. "I mean I suspect you would all agree Anarista was the tragic figure here." Galvus said to the group before him. "Princess Menace and the Royal Family got complacent and in doing so were more focused on pleasuring themselves then actually running their country." Galvus said as Menace heard all his words. "Amara's days were numbered, the common folk did not like being overtaxed, the nobles wanted higher positions in life or even the betterment of their people, and they like Anarista were more than willing to sell out to get the fool of a princess off the throne." Galvus said which served to anger Menace.
"I mean you're not wrong, the Princess was a fool a stupid brat." Shizuka said in agreement and in turn Menace had enough.
"So, I was a stupid girl, was I?" Menace asked as Setra saw the dark aura and knew his mistress was angry. "Incapable of ruling a kingdom that should have devoted itself to me and me alone." Menace went on as Galvus heard her.
"If the shoe fits." Galvus said directing his attention over to Menace.
"No... I don't believe it I could never be the sole reason for the downfall of my empire!" Menace yelled as she refused to deal with such slander against her.
"Oh boy." Dilan said as he had a good idea what's about to happen.
"Deny it all you want but from those images in the caverns and from yourself as a person you don't know the first thing about ruling an empire." Galvus said getting to the fact. "Even now you act like a spoiled child who thinks everything she wants must be given to her no matter what." Galvus said using logic against Menace. "And now you're about to throw a temper tantrum." Galvus said with a bored tone in his voice.
"Shut up I will never admit to any of that!" Menace yelled but she was only proving Galvus's point. "Everyone should bow down! Bow down immediately before my power! I command you!" Menace yelled and just as Galvus predicted her temper tantrum began. In turn the entire pyramid began to shake with Menace's rage. Soon enough the ruins began to crumble and Dilan seeing this grabbed Tomoe and Shizuka. "Time to go!" Dilan yelled and thus the Dragon Knight flew towards a newly created hole big enough for it to fly as the temple began to collapse.
"Meanwhile Galvus sighed and began to make his own escape already knowing how to make it out in one piece. Water began to flood the entire room as Menace had her tantrum.
(Meanwhile with Marianne and Nanael)
The two angels were in a panic as they flew through the halls to escape. "Where's the exit!?" Marianne yelled as she and Nanael flew for their lives.
"Get us out of here!" Nanael yelled as they dodged every bit of debris that came their way. But then it got worse as a torrent of water came their way. The two angels screamed in panic while hugging each other before being swept away with the currents.
Nearby Aster and Leina were hanging onto the wall as Leina had awoken not too long ago. "What has happened why am I waking up to this?!" Leina asked as she and Aster held on for dear life.
"Less talking more grabbing!" Aster called out but then the Angels came in.
"In coming!" Marianne yelled as she soon crashed into Aster causing him to lose his grip.
"Help I can't swim!" Nanael cried out as she grabbed into Leina before being swept away as well.
(Back over with Dilan's group)
"Hurry!" Tomoe cried out as the Dragon Knight flew through the falling ruins.
"I'm going as fast as I can!" Dilan called out but then the Tidal wave came their way followed by more debris. "Hold on to something!" Dilan called out as Dilan and the two maidens from Hinomoto cried out in a panic as they were taken by the currents and debris as well. The entire pyramid came down on them as the two groups were forced to escape or were being swept away by the currents.
(Meanwhile in the sky Galvus)
As the ruins came tumbling down The Sun King flew out of the destruction as with the sun high in the sky the Knights power was at its apex. Hovering over the scene Galvus growled before he began to fly away. As he flew however, he had someone with him. "Ciela did you retrieve what we needed?" Galvus asked to the Fallen Angel next to him.
"Yes, I did." Ciela said showing a sarcophagus she acquired from the temple while everyone else was busy. "A perfect distraction you provided Menace never realized that this was our target." Ciela said as she used her magic to hold the object before Galvus took it into the Sun Kings hand.
"Yes, now we best hurry, Anarista will awaken to the modern world." Galvus said as he flew off from the scene. With their true goals realized the group flew off making themselves scarce as they made their escape from the scene.
(Scene Break that Night Menace)
It was nighttime as Menace had come too not too long ago and was sitting upon a pile of rubble. She had guessed she had passed out or had a bit of a head trauma as she sighed. "What a shame all my servant candidates all got washed away somewhere." Menace said sadly as she looked at the moon.
"I could have sworn you let them go intentionally." Setra said as they looked at the desert moon.
"Well, I did make an exception this time." Menace said though whether she meant it or not was yet to be seen.
"So, you still haven't given up restoring the Amara Kingdom, right?" Setra asked as he hoped Menace hadn't given up yet.
"How could I? I am the heir to that kingdom, and it is my duty to see that it is restored no matter what. I will pay any price even if it means giving myself over to evil." Menace said knowing she would go through all obstacles to restore Amara to its former glory.
"You are devoted that is why you're my mistress and wherever you go I'll follow." Setra said bringing a smile to Menace face.
"Thank you Setra. For tonight I only ask that we pray Anarista and all the Kingdom Servants who now reside in heaven." Menace said while looking fondly up to the moon that illuminated the desert.
(With Dilan, Tomoe, and Shizuka)
Elsewhere in the desert, the Dragon Knight burst out of the sand as he looked to his passengers with worry. "Are you two, ok?" Dilan asked worried for them to which Shizuka nodded.
"Yeah, though I thought we were dead there." Shizuka said to which Tomoe nodded in agreement.
"Thank you, Dilan." Tomoe thanked showing she was grateful for the rescue to which Dilan nodded.
"No problem." Dilan said while reverting to his human form. The three looked to each other for a moment as soon they began to laugh happy to have made it out of that situation in one piece.
