Author note: This Story takes place on the planet in Prometheus, a new ship arrives after the crash, to find the others. from a new character POV Deandre
The seats in the back of the ship bounced as they began to enter the planets orbit. Deandre sat next to Enrique, Marcy and Heather sat across from them. Rena and Ricky were the pilots of the ship. Quin and Tank were in the kitchen. Deandre heard Ricky announce through the speaker that they would be landing shortly. They were on a mission to find out out what happened to the Prometheus ship that had came to the planet hoping to find answers to their beginning. Charlies father had believed that the occupants of the planet had been asleep almost coma like, and if they stayed asleep they wouldn't have met until the planet had been inhabited with new life. Deandre thought that Charlie would have been able to contact them if something had not went as they planned, but all communication had been cut off early in their trip. Deandre felt the landing pods extend, then they were settled into a spot. Deandre and the other walked to the front of the ship where Rena and Ricky were waiting. Ricky said that he would stay back with the ship, and they could explore the area. He then said that he saw two crashed ships and one of them were not from their home planet. Ricky pointed to a window where they could see the two ships, they were about a half mile from where they parked. Ricky then said that he would like them to stay in the rover for the first day while exploring. If they were to come across any survivor's, they would contact Ricky. He then pointed out that it was important to keep them in a containment system outside the ship. He indicated to the map of the ship, and the cage that could be rolled off the ship for external purposes. Deandre suited up with the others and then they headed to the Rover.
The Rover drove off the ship easily, and Tank drove In the direction of the two ships first. The two ships were no longer on fire, and they could see the inside of the first ship. It was badly damaged, and sparks were lighting up the area. The second ship had a oval formation and it was unknown to them how it had been inhabited by live life forms. The inside looked like it had been outdated with the mechanism of the ship. After driving around the ships, Tank drove to the other end of the land. Deandre could see a waterfall, it was deep and the water flowed to the bottom of the lake. She heard Tank say something and she looked out the window and saw that it was Shaw, she was no too injured. Shaw was sitting by a rock and started waving when she saw them. Tank stopped the Rover and turned in our direction. He announced that he would be calling Ricky to let him know of the survivor. When Tank was off the phone he said it was safe to pick up Shaw, and that Ricky would get the containment system active. The Rover stopped and Marcy, Heather, and Rena got out of the Rover first. Enrique, Quin, and Deandre stepped out the rover next. They approached Shaw and she started talking. She mention aliens fighting aliens, alien pregnancy, and motion awakening the dead alien. She then went to tell them of a life form that attached to other life forms. She mentioned that her crew had became sick. Tank told her that she would be able to tell them the details later, but that it was important that they get her to seek medical attention. Shaw stopped talking and said that was a good idea, and followed them back to the rover.
When they arrived back to the ship, Ricky had prepared the containment system and Tank indicated that they should go inside the unit. After entering the unit, Shaw had steeped under the medical scanner. The scanner indicated that she was dehydrated, and had a high glucose level. The scanner didn't pick up too many abnormalities. Quin started a fluid based IV to help with the dehydration. The fluids would quickly enter her system through the needle and tubes, and they would be able to see the dehydration had covered up any other problems. Ricky said that they would her get some rest, and indicated that Heather would be in the other room, he indicated to a panel of glass, where she could get someones attention. Shaw said alright, then they left the room. After leaving the room, Ricky told the others that Shaw was being quarantined and that no one was to enter the room without permission first. Ricky would check on her in three hours, and they could meet back there at that time. Ricky the turned to Heather and said to only use the intercom, not to enter the room. Heather said alright, then went into the glass room. The followed Ricky back onto the ship and watched from the viewing window as Heather looked through Shaw's medical records.
Deandre went to the kitchen with Enrique and Rena. Deandre had a glass of water, and then put it in the sink. When she turned around she heard Rena say that if Shaw was able to travel after the 72 hour quarantine period was over, they would go back to earth and send another crew to look into the crash. Enrique said that he would prepare for the decision. They left the kitchen soon after the conversation.
When the three hours had passed, Deandre met the other in the containment system. Shaw had a slightly lower level of dehydration but there was still a drop in her scan. Ricky ordered another round of fluids and after leaving the room said that they would be heading home in 72 hours. Deandre followed the others to the ship and watched out the window as the dust began to settle by the crashed ships.
After the 72 hours of Quarantine was over, Shaw was contained in a medical room on the ship. The ship started to leave the planet and it was able to get back into space without any interruptions. Deandre watched from the doorway as they passed the second planet in that solar system. She heard Ricky come over the loud speaker and announce that he had let the Landing base on earth know that they were heading home with Shaw. Deandre sat down and waited for the ships return to earth.
