Iceclaw
Flashback chapter
He flew past the Sky Kingdom a few hours ago, it's not like he even knew where the hideout was.
Making his way through the trees, the silence was a little way too loud right now...
"Hello? I know you're here somewhere!" he called out into the trees, getting no response in return.
He quickly checked to see if his pouch was still hanging from his neck, thankfully, nobody had taken it yet.
Iceclaw kept his guard at the maximum level, nobody would be catching him unaware... Not today...
"I'm looking for your brother! I do not have any quarrel with you!"
He was met with a SandWing's tail barb stopping just a millimeter away from his heart.
"Why exactly have you come to die?" Blister asked, stepping out from behind a tree and narrowing her eyes at him.
"I do not wish to fight... Nor kill anybody... I simply wish to have a polite conversation with Sunburst. Is that a possibility?" Iceclaw told Blister.
Blister examined him for a moment but nodded slowly. "Certainly," she said.
There was no possibility of Blister completely trusting him at this moment, but at least he wasn't dead yet... So that was a positive thing.
Blister led him through the trees to a small clearing where a SandWing was eating a chicken.
No doubt this was not the true hideout; Blister was too smart for that.
"Hrm?" the SandWing looked up at Blister and Iceclaw. "What do you want?" He pointed at the IceWing.
Iceclaw cautiously approached Sunburst and sat down. "I found them," he whispered to the SandWing.
Sunburst tilted his head. "Found who?" His voice was gruff, nothing like the gentle-hearted human that Iceclaw once knew. "Come on, spit it out IceWing, I haven't got all day."
"Sparrow," he lowered his tone even more so Blister wouldn't hear him.
Sunburst widened his eyes with surprise, then turned back to Blister. "I'll take care of this IceWing, you return to Coral."
Blister left, supposedly to go back to Coral, but Iceclaw didn't wholly believe it.
"Come on, hurry, let's go somewhere private," Sunburst said.
They snuck to a peaceful beach where Sunburst felt the inexplicable urge to punch Iceclaw.
"Ow! What was that for?!" Iceclaw exclaimed, rubbing his sore arm.
"Do you have any idea how stupid that was? You nearly got yourself killed!" Sunburst hissed.
Iceclaw rolled his eyes and pulled a small scroll from his pouch. "I present to you, the third member of The Fiery Four," he said, unrolling the scroll.
Sunburst snatched the scroll from him.
"Prince Lightwing, short-term ally to the IceWings. After nearly losing a battle to just this one dragon, Queen Diamond made the brilliant move in capturing him and making him work for the IceWing army.
Prince Lightwing aided General Snowfox in defeating the NightWings for two weeks before mysteriously disappearing.
When on a field mission, Lightwing was ordered to lure the NightWing army outside the border for the IceWings to ambush them, although unsuccessful, Lightwing managed to come back out with minimal injury to his head.
Referring to himself as a 'Captain Jack Sparrow' before making a daring escape, he once again nearly killed the small group that was meant to escort him back to the Ice Kingdom.
His next and latest sighting was of him purchasing a coconut in the Scorpion Den for unknown reasons; he did not consume it.
Lightwing disappeared shortly after that, never to make another appearance anywhere in Pyrrhia, another dragon lost to time. His fate is unknown to this day."
Sunburst rolled the scroll back up and handed it to Iceclaw. "That's definitely Jack, who else would have the guts to do all that?"
"The only question remains; where did Daniel end up?"
"... Malcolm?"
"Yes, and you are Ian."
"...Meet me at the Diamond Spray Delta at the next full moon."
"Will do."
Blister and Coral came through the trees. Iceclaw yelped at the sight. "Princess Blister. Queen Coral." He gave a small bow to each of them and flew away.
Palm
Walking through the endless desert would have been a normal day until Prince Sunburst came crashing into a nearby dune, looking for something.
"Palm?" Prince Sunburst asked.
Palm took Onyx and ran away from him, she did not desire to be caught twenty years after escaping Queen Oasis.
"Palm! I'm trying to save your life!"
Palm skidded to a stop, turning around to look Prince Sunburst in the eyes. "What?"
"Please Palm... I know that I'm probably one of the last dragons that you want to see... But please just listen to me..." he pleaded, sitting down... Not pursuing her...
"Mother! How can you listen to a royal SandWing? You've told me that Queen Oasis would kill you on sight! This dragon could be included in trying to kill you!" Onyx argued.
"What do you mean you're trying to save my life? You weren't of any help when your mother discovered my relationship with Smolder," she said, he had only stood by and watched the events unfold.
"Palm..." Prince Sunburst took a deep breath and exhaled before continuing. "Burn has seized control of the SandWing palace... a couple years after your escape... And she discovered that Oasis took Prickle as a prisoner... You and I both know the type of dragon Burn is," Prince Sunburst explained.
Sunburst looked very worried for her, almost as if he were truly telling the truth. He looked around, seeing if there were any dangers.
"Do you have a place to stay? To hide? Anywhere at all?" Sunburst asked.
"Prickle's old home isn't too far from here..."
"Yes! That's perfect!"
Sunburst looked to the sky and winced, what was so dangerous about an empty sky? The Orb was certainly interesting...
Palm looked to the spot where Sunburst looked and saw only the Orb, pretending to be a fourth moon.
