"Aki, Himeno, I want you to handle Akane, capture her alive if possible, kill if necessary..."

A door opens, revealing a very long and dark hallway. The only source of light is the windows up above, letting in sunlight. At one end of the hallway stands Akane Sawatari, slightly glaring at the person at the other end. That person is Aki Hayakawa, climbing up the stairs and holding a blood-covered sword tightly in his hand.

"Akane Sawatari, surrender now and I can reassure you that you'll make it out of here alive."

Aki lightly glared at Sawatari as he gave her a chance and final warning to give up, who just huffed in response and aimed her hand at him.

"Snake Devil, swal-"

"I wouldn't do that if I were you~"

However, just as Akane was about to summon her Snake Devil, she was immediately cut off when a familiar voice of Himeno spoke behind and right into her ear, which caused her to tense up and go wide-eyed, even more so when she saw the clawed hand appear out of nowhere and grab her own hand.

"Y-You're alive!?"

To say Akane was beyond shocked and surprised to see the Ghost Lady alive would be an understatement.

"Eh, technically, but no thanks to you."

Himeno could only puff her cheeks in response to the blonde thug, before simply ignoring her and looking back at her partner.

"I guess mission accomplished?"

Himeno made sure to get a good grip on the human woman, purposely digging her claws into her skin and drawing blood, which definitely caused her to cringe and wince in pain.

"Our part of the job is done here, yes."

Aki started to pull out his phone, to send a message of his mission being a success.

"Hmmm, and are you sure we just can't kill her now?"

Himeno glares at Sawatari, she makes it very clear of the hate she had for her.

"Unfortunately no, Makima needs her for interrogation."

Aki sighs, clearly disappointed at not being allowed to kill the blonde thug, but he was able to deal with it as the mission was more important than revenge at the moment.

"That's too bad, but oh well."

Himeno pouts, clearly dissatisfied for not being allowed to kill the human woman.

"I could always settle with causing you every bit of agony you caused me~"

However, that didn't stop Himeno from seeking some kind of revenge, and it was clear she had plans on how to deliver such punishment, judging by the sadistic smile forming on her lips, which made Sawatari slightly worried.

"What do you mean by tha-?"

As Aki finished sending a text message, he looked away from his phone and was about to ask what his partner meant by what she said. However, his eyes widened as he saw the Ectonurite Hybrid use her claws to chop off the fingers of the blonde thug, who struggled not to scream in pain.

"You summon your Snake Devil by giving up finger nails, right?~"

Himeno didn't stop with just one finger though, using her claws to slice off another finger, adding more to the pain of the human woman.

"Wonder what would happen if I removed every single finger from your hands?"

Sawatari tried to move her arm and hand away from Himeno, but her strength and digging claws prevented her from escaping.

"Would you lose your ability to summon your friend? Or maybe it would take something else instead?~"

Which allowed Himeno to slice off another finger, and the blonde thug had no choice but to watch.

"Himeno?..."

'Looks like it begins~'

Aki looked very worried and confused about what was happening with his partner, even more so when he heard the Future Devil start to speak and laugh.

"You know, I suffered a lot because of you, and I just returned the favor for every kind of pain I had to endure~..."

Himeno sliced another finger.

"Ruining a good morning and my breakfast."

And another finger.

"Hurting my friends."

And another finger.

"Killing my cute Kobeni."

And another.

"Killing me…"

And another.

"You even trapped me in that damn Deviltrix for so many years!"

And another.

"So much suffering…"

All the way to the very last finger.

"And I wanna make sure you suffer for every single moment because of all that."

Once all the fingers were gone from Sawatari hands, Himeno then grabbed her face and pulled her close to her face.

"Every. Single. Moment!"

The blonde thug couldn't look away from seeing the very angry and hateful expression of Himeno, even as he noticed something glowing pink-purple under her eyepatch.

"Oops, all out of fingers."

Himeno's face then turned back to a sadistic smile, as she brought up her free hand and aimed her claws near her face.

"How about your eyes and teeths next?~"

The human woman whimpers in fear as she was forced to watch Himeno bring her claws closer to her face.

"Himeno?"

But just as the undead woman could enjoy causing more suffering for Sawatari, the voice of Aki was able to interrupt her cruel torture.

"WHAT!?!"

Which pissed off Himeno very much, turning her head to glare at Hayakawa for stopping her from punishing the blonde thug even more so.

"... What do you mean by being trapped in the Deviltrix?"

Though rage soon turned into confusion when Aki suddenly asked a question that made the Ectonurite Hybrid realize what she had just said and what she was currently doing.

"S-Snake Devil…"

But before anyone could process what was going on, Akane quickly used the moment of distraction to speak up.

"R-Release…"

But before the Ghost Lady could stop Akane from saying anything else, the presence of another Devil suddenly appeared before Topknot, and it wasn't the Snake.

"T-The Ghost Devil?..."

Aki was very surprised to see the Ghost Devil standing before him, clearly not expecting to see it again. The Ghost Devil then responded to his shock by suddenly lifting up several of its arms.

"AKI LOOK OUT-"

"SNAKE DEVIL: SWALLOW!"

Himeno immediately saw this and knew what was going to happen next. However, before she could do anything to save the Devil Hunter, Akane once again took advantage of the distraction to give another order. This time, she had her Snake Devil appear and instantly swallow the undead human.

"HIMENO!!!"

Shock turned to horror when Aki witnessed his partner get swallowed up by the Snake Devil. He didn't understand how that happened, especially since the human woman didn't have any fingers. That was until he noticed a bloody spot forming on her shoes.

'She Used Her Toenails To Summon Her Snake Devil, FUCK!'

Aki was immediately filled with rage and vengeance, as he attempted to charge towards Sawatari to kill her, but was interrupted when the Ghost Devil suddenly started sending out all its hands towards him, forcing him to back away.

"FUCK! FUCK! FUCK!"

Aki, after avoiding the first onslaught of arms, pulled out his sword and started using the blade to start slicing and cutting up the next wave of arms.

"HIMENO! DON'T YOU DARE DIE ON ME A FUCKING SECOND TIME!"

Thanks to the Ghost Cutting Sword, Kobeni's training, and future sight, Aki was able to hold on for quite a while, cutting and slicing many hands and arms from the Ghost Devil.

"I JUST GOT YOU BACK! I DON'T WANT TO LOSE YOU AGAIN!"

But it was clear Aki wasn't going to last long, not only because there were too many arms to deal with, but also because his emotions clouded and tripped him up, causing him to lose his calm, resulting in an unbalanced body and illogical thinking.

"I-I'm too scared to lose you again-ACK!"

And soon, all of the problems resulted in the Ghost Devil landing one of its many hands on Aki's neck, which it then grabbed and squeezed very tightly, choking him harshly.

'Don't forget, the Ghost Devil can see your fears~'

The Future Devil could only watch all of this happening from Hayakawa, laughing and mocking during the whole thing.

"F-Future, p-please tell me!..."

Aki ignored the mocking and choking as he desperately tried to talk to the Fortune Teller.

"P-Please tell me that Himeno is still alive!"

Specifically Aki begged and hoped for the survival of his partner.

'Oh yeah, she's alive.'

Which the Future Devil was able to reassure Topknot of how the Ectonurite Hybrid wasn't dead, though the way his tone changed and became more, "Sinister", made him worry.

'In fact, here she comes right now, so good luck surviving that.'

As soon as the Future Devil said this, the Snake Devil was suddenly cut up from the inside out, before exploding to many cut up pieces, leaving nothing but a now floating and glowing "Himeno?".

"I-Impossible…"

Akane wasn't even given a chance to process and wonder how "Himeno?" Was alive, before being grabbed by some kind of invisible force and pulled closed towards the one who just killed the Snake Devil.

"You dare attempt to trap me again?..."

Once brought close enough, the blonde thug was able to get a closer look and started to realize how "Himeno?" might not be, well, "Himeno".

"I SHOULD POSSESS YOUR WORTHLESS BODY AND FORCE YOU TO EAT YOU OWN FLESH!!!"

Simple claws became longer and sharper. Sharp bones and spikes poked out of her shoulder and back. A large tail with ripped flesh grew out of her. Her head was suddenly turned all around upside down. What stood out the most was "Himeno?" One eye disappeared as her eyepatch fell off, revealing a new bright pink purple one in her supposed empty socket. It was a very horrifying and unsettling sight.

"But unfortunately for me, I don't believe I will have enough time for that."

A sight that Akane would be the last thing she would see before "Himeno?" unleashed her many tendrils from her stomach, and started shoving them all into Sawatari's mouth, basically shattering her entire jaw and teeth, and down her throat, causing it to bulge horrifically, as her skin around her neck started to slowly rip from all the tendrils in her esophagus, which soon filled the inside and wiggled all around inside her stomach, however not all of it went into her belly, a few went upwards as well, evidenced by her entire head pulsing, skull cracking, and the tips of the tendrils poking out of Akane's nose, ears, and eyes.

"So for now, this will be enough…"

After a few moments of the tendrils violating Akane's insides, all the tendrils violently pulled back out of her body, though not empty-handed, as they returned holding the stomach and brain that had been ripped from Sawatari's body. The corpse went limp and fell to the ground, dead. The tendrils then brought the stomach and brain back into "Himeno's?" body. She huffed, turned her attention away from the corpse, and focused on both the staring Ghost Devil and the wide-eyed Devil Hunter.

"You know, my kind worship you as a God, even having a whole religion about you, Ghost Devil."

"Himeno?" Then quickly appeared before the Ghost Devil, grabbing its neck tightly and holding it up high in the air. This caused Hayakawa to be dropped, gasping for air and trying to recover, but didn't stop watching what was happening.

"So give me all of you, so that I can have that title for myself."

The Ghost Devil can feel the immense power and evil intentions coming from "Himeno?", which is enough to cause the stitches to snap and rip from the Ghost Devil's lips so that it could frown in fear. With little choice, it does as it was told, shoving one of its arms down its own throat, before grabbing and pulling out its own heart, which it then offers to the Ectonurite Hybrid. She takes it, drops the Ghost Devil, letting it disappear into nothing but flower petals. The Ghost Lady reaches into her chest and pulls out her old heart, before quickly replacing it with the new Ghost Devil's heart.

"Haaaah, I almost feel whole again~"

This not only gave "Himeno?" the power she desperately craved, but also made her feel more "complete," whatever that means. However, before she could enjoy this feeling of being stronger and free, she was interrupted when she nearly fell out of the sky. This confused her, but soon she also noticed that all of the new features on her body started disappearing.

"Damn it, I guess I'm not strong enough yet to take over this body…"

This greatly annoyed and frustrated "Himeno?", but as she struggled to regain control, she finally noticed Topknot staring at her, which made her smirk cruelly and use her telekinetic powers to lift him up and bring him close to her face.

"You will tell no one about this, especially to the wielder of the Deviltrix, or I will kill this body, understand?"

Doing all this so that "Himeno?" Could warn and threaten the Devil Hunter about what she would do to her body if he ever decided to reveal what happened today, he was left completely speechless, obviously not knowing how to even respond to all this horrific insanity.

"Heh, enjoy your freedom, while you still can, my soon to be body~"

"Himeno?" she said, her final words about what she couldn't wait for in the future, before slowly losing consciousness. Her body and head returned to normal, the purple-pink eyes disappeared, and her original eye reappeared. Both she and Aki fell to the ground. The undead woman was now in a deep sleep, while Hayakawa tried to comprehend what had just happened. He looked back at his partner, his expression filled with great fear and worry for her.

"... So this is where my pain starts?"

'Yup!~'

The next chapter is Denji and Kobeni vs Katana Man, yay~

(Fun Fact: In this version of Ben 10, specially with the Ectonurite species, The Ghost Devil is basically the "Jesus" or "Buddha" for the Ectonurite religion, or whatever you want to call it, they worship and view the Ghost Devil with admiration, even having holidays and traditions, as well as pray and perform rituals in the honor of the Ghost Devil, which the Ghost Devil Hates, because the Ectonurite race doesn't fear it, and Loves, because of all the worship)
