"All aboard the Hogwarts Express!" a cheerful conductor yelled out.

Brenna glanced at him as he made his way down the whole train, announcing that it was time to leave. All around her, teenagers waved goodbye to their parents as little ones tried not to cry as they hugged their parents one last time before Christmas break. She was used to a fancy carriage pulling up to a designated area and inviting her in after saying a fancy quote to the carrier. Already Beauxbatons and Hogwarts looked significantly different and she couldn't tell if that was a good thing or a bad thing. Her father smiled at her, trying to give off an excited grin as he handed Brenna her new owl.

"You didn't have to give me this" she looked at the grey owl, annoyed, "I am well aware of what mother can do to these… creatures"

Her father leaned in, "Just so she can keep an eye on you"

Brenna forced a smile, "How charming"

She looked down to her other animal, a cat named Bella, who already didn't like having a huge owl to compete with in Brenna's affection. Brenna placed the owl on the other side of the trolley just as a loader came by, "Everything in the loading department, miss?"

"My pets can stay with me," Brenna answered.

"See?" Nicholas beamed, "You are already claiming her as a pet"

"Only because I would feel bad if I chose one pet over the other," Brenna told her father as her belongings came to life and made their way to the back of the train.

She looked back to her father who seemed just as nervous about her going to Hogwarts just as much as her first year at her other school. Nicholas, in his young age, went to Hogwarts and it wasn't surprising to hear that he was sorted into Ravenclaw, the house that heralds the wisest students. It made sense to Brenna, especially when Athena's interests are of the mind and she only picks "mates" through their intellect. Brenna knew what her father wanted, so she stepped closer and gave him a hug, in which he received it gratefully.

"You'll do fine" Nicholas whispered, "It's rare that there are transfers in the years but with your… abilities, you will be able to catch up in no time"

"Thank the… Goddess for that" Brenna looked up, passively to the ceiling as if her mother would be floating near the high beams.

Nicholas chuckled, "Now remember, she may not be able to answer you as much but I will always be looking for your owl"

Brenna broke the hug and gave her father one last fleeting smile before picking up the cages and turning towards the train. She didn't want to stay long, otherwise they might talk about her mission at hand. It wasn't too extravagant, watch over some boy and make sure he doesn't die, has enough allies, and that Voldemort doesn't arrive prematurely. Brenna found an empty compartment and quickly took it as her future school mates were reuniting and talking about their summer holidays. She plopped down and waved at her father who seemed to have been following her along the side.

A tiny meow came from the carrier as she turned and smiled at the cat, "I know, you hate being cooped up"

Bella sprung out of her carrier the second it was opened. The tiny cat gave a long stretch before she turned and noticed the owl on the other bench. The cat hunched up and fluffed out her tail but realized that the owl wasn't much of a threat now that she was sleeping. Brenna glanced to the owl and wondered how many times her mother will "pop in" to ask for updates.

"We'll have to give her a name, Bell" Brenna mumbled, "As much as I avoided owls, it's not fair to the little creature to let her go without a name"

Bella looked up dismissively as if to say she didn't care about something that could eat her. The bell rung out as a final warning, making her turn back to her father. He smiled and blew a kiss in her direction as Brenna smiled and blew one back.

"I'll be okay" Brenna said, hoping he could read her lips, "I promise"

Nicholas gave a nod as the train lurched forward, he chose to stay where he was standing as Brenna waved until she couldn't see him anymore. She faced her two companions as she couldn't help but feel sad about saying goodbye.

"It's alright" Brenna cleared her voice, "It's exactly like the Batons"

Except this time, she will have to strategically make acquaintances in order to help out with the second Wizarding War.

"We will be fine" Brenna promised them.

The door opened suddenly as two identical boys came filing in with a shorter friend with curly hair. They seemed to have come in in such a hurry that they didn't realize that Brenna was in the room with them. They huddled by the compartment door and tried to peer down the hall without getting caught. They remained quiet for a couple of seconds before the trio erupted in hysterical laughter, not afraid to get caught now. They turned back around and faced each other and were about to congratulate one another before they realized that Brenna was in the room.

"Oi! Sorry about this" one of the boys said, "We needed a place to hide from Percy"

"Um… Who's Percy?" Brenna asked.

"Only our rule-loving "absolutely perfect" Prefect of a brother" one of the twins said as he plopped on the bench opposite of her, making Bella jump down and crawl into Brenna's lap.

"More importantly, who are you?" the other twin asked, "We are familiar with faces and seeing how you weren't aware of our brother makes us think that you're new"

"My name is Brenna Jammal" Brenna nodded, "I'm a transfer from Beauxbatons"

"A transfer?!" all three of them said in excitement.

Brenna was almost surprised as they were about their little outburst. Then again, she couldn't remember when was the last time she heard there was a transfer at Beauxbatons. The trio seemed more interested in that than her backstory. She did notice that their non-twin friend was still by the door, peeking out here and there to check if the coast was clear. She looked between the three and they seemed to finally remember she was in the room.

"I'm Fred" the one on the same bench as her said, "This is George, we met each other in our first year"

"People think we're twins!" George let out.

"Which they're not!" their friend chimed in, "I'm Lee Jordan. What brings you to Hogwarts?"

Brenna narrowed her eyes as she couldn't seem to believe the fact that Fred and George weren't twins but they had a light personality that told her that they only meant it in a world of fun.

"My father moves around for his job" Brenna answered, "We were moved to London before the term started"

"That's fascinating" one of the twins said, "Hopefully you'll get sorted into Gryffindor, that's easily the best House out of all of them because we're in it! If you get sorted into the other Houses, we'll still say hi-"

"Not if you're in Slytherin though" Lee huffed, "Nothing but pureblood, snot-nosed wizards that House is. Pure-Blood Mania that House, so much that the families betroth each other to one another so much that they're starting to look like trolls"

Brenna couldn't help but let out a light laugh with the others, she has heard of Witches and Wizards like those. The Pure-Bloods in Beauxbatons were so full of themselves that the air around them seemed cheap. She hoped that she wasn't in that House but was curious on what they would think if a Half-Breed somehow got sorted into Slytherin.

"Coast is clear" Lee said, "Time to report back"

"Well, it was great to meet you, Brenna Jammal" George got up, "We hope your stay at Hogwarts will be great"

"Yeah, we look forward to seeing which House you get sorted into" Fred jumped to his feet.

"Just a heads up" Lee chimed in, "If you go into Slytherin, don't be surprised if you hear us booing at you"

Brenna chuckled, "That's fair, nice to meet you all"
