07/19/2656- Bombing on Vodol Space Station Stopped

"Today, the Vodol controlled gateway station near the Funsari System Relay was attacked by the Free Salarian Alliance. The sensors of the station detected a small object heading towards the station on a ballistic trajectory. A shuttle was sent to determine what the object was, revealing it was an antimatter bomb filled with enough antimatter to destroy the station and the tens of thousands of people on it at any one time. A bomb was covered in stealth plating and paint of Union design, only being detected due to a small gash on the bomb that appears to have been caused by a micrometer impact. This is the fourth attack within the system since the bombing of Drasum, the Alliance having struck a mining colony, another city, and a large ocean going cargo ship in the last two days, but it is the first to have been foiled without any loss of life.
