12/21/2656- Deep Strike On Union Naval Base In Sunuvral Theater

"Today, a strike force from the Sunuvral Republic struck the Union's Alasara Naval Repair and Refit Station, a major Union naval base in the theater. Conducting 40 percent of all ship repairs for Union ships in the region, the significant damage done to the station during the attack has harmed the Union's ability to sustain its forces with the increasingly fierce skirmishing occurring throughout the theater, several civilian facilities and military bases being attacked across multiple systems by Republic and privateer forces."
