9/1/2656- TDFPU Irradiates Solassun To Deny It To Warlord Vorn

"Today, a Terminus Democratic Free People's Union task force assaulted Solassun and, after achieving orbi, scattered the contents of a Shebiyar class ore freighter across a significant portion of the planet's surface. Those contents consisted of millions of tons of radioactive materials, irradiating the surface of the planet and causing incalculable amounts of death. While the death toll has not been fully confirmed, it is estimated up to 200 million people have already died in the last 10 hours, with ten times that many to come over the next few weeks, and countless more in the years to come. Warlord Vorn's forces have evacuated from several of the affected areas, notably the planet's capital, and home to 80 million people, Tralanir."
