"Today, the world of Sonurvral was rocked by massive protests across the planet as its people demand independence from the Union. Once an independent world controlled by a number of city states, Sonurvral was taken over by the Union 50 years ago due to, in President F'Nos's words 'increasing levels of violence which have destabilized the local area'. Since then, the people of the planet have been demanding their independence, with several terrorist groups, both newly formed and military remnants, fighting the Union's occupation, often leading to harsh reprisals. Interspersed with the protests, there have been some reports of rioting and terrorist attacks, though clear information has not become available to us. It is believed these events were caused by the recent invasion of the Solassun and the rest of the Delos Cluster by Warlord Vorn."
